What if the person with the most powerful insights was already right beside you? Today, you’re in for a very special treat. While I have the privilege of interviewing incredible people from all over the globe, sometimes the most extraordinary wisdom comes from those we work with every day. That’s why I’m so excited to introduce you to someone who’s not only a brilliant professional but also a cherished member of our own Auxano family, the amazing Teagan Edrich. Teagan has been part of our team for years, and in that time, I’ve watched her grow in leaps and bounds. Her passion, commitment, and deep understanding of this industry are truly inspiring. In this episode, I finally convinced her to step out from behind the scenes and into the spotlight to share some of the powerful knowledge she’s gained. To make things even more fun, we each brought five questions to ask the other, sparking a conversation full of insight, laughter, and fresh perspective. As you listen, I want to challenge you: don’t just absorb information, implement something. Whether it’s an idea we share or one you’re inspired to create, take action today. And if this episode speaks to you, please share it with someone in your circle. Now, let’s dive in, here’s my conversation with the incredible Teagan Edrich. We’ll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [4:55] Looking back on the first interview ➡ [8:47] Loving your job ➡ [10:52] Sam’s biggest challenge in building business ➡ [20:21] Tech and automation do they enhance or limit creativity? ➡ [22:55] Single word to describe…what motives Sam the most? ➡ [23:20] Single word to describe…most important value right now? ➡ [27:59] Reach outs, Teagan’s content strategy ➡ [33:17] Reaching out means relationship building ➡ [34:54] 5 things Sam will put in a social media time capsule ➡ [43:02] Social media challenges are Teagan’s favourite projects ➡ [46:36] A fun question for Sam ➡ [55:36] Tech tools that you can forget and can’t live without ➡ [58:28] The thing we can create and improve ➡ [1:07:52] Being in the zone ➡ [1:10:52] Final thoughts Resources Quote: People are not replaceable. You can make or find 'more' when it comes to time or things... But you cannot make a person, that exact same person in that exact moment, again. Never take their presence or time with them for granted. About our guest: Coming from a retail and hospitality background, Teagan Edrich dove into selling Real Estate as a teen! When the opportunity presented itself, Teagan thought "it's all just people, let's give it a go!" From there, Teagan's passion for people truly began, expanding throughout her roles in sales, marketing, media, promotions, account management, small business, creative writing, business development and management over the next decade. It was during that time that Teagan stumbled across Sam at an in-person conference, having been following her for a number of years and attending her online events. When a 'creative writing' role came up with Auxano during maternity leave, Teagan thought it was meant to be! Now, years later, and well and truly part of the Auxano Family, Teagan's role has expanded, covering everything from people to tech to creative design and building training content. When she's not with the Auxano Family, Teagan enjoys spending time with her own family and anything 'outdoors'. Her happy place is going for a wander, exploring waterfalls, bushwalks, beaches and simply 'recharging her solar battery' - even in often cold Tassie (Tasmania, Australia). Are you tired of scrambling to post on social media at the last minute? There’s a smarter way to keep your content fresh and consistent, without the stress. Let me share 5 hot tips with you. Start by tackling your gallery graveyard, those hundreds of unused photos and screenshots sitting in your phone. Use those little in-between moments throughout your day to sort and organise them. That way, when you’re ready to create, you’ve already got a goldmine of authentic, powerful images at your fingertips, so there's no need to waste time searching. What’s the real game-changer? Planning your posting strategies ahead of time. Think of it like a menu. Instead of starting from scratch each time, have a list of go-to content ideas ready to roll. All you need to do is plug in the pieces. This makes content creation feel easier, faster, and way more intentional. And don’t forget about scheduling. Life is unpredictable, especially if you’re a working parent or juggling multiple responsibilities. Relying on being available at a specific time to post just isn’t realistic. By planning and scheduling in advance, you’re freeing yourself from that pressure. You’re making space for creativity, consistency, and calm in your content workflow. Want to hear the rest? Have you ever faced a situation so frustrating that you questioned what lesson, if any, could come from it? That’s exactly where I found myself after enduring what I can only describe as my worst travel experience to date. From lost bags, both checked and carry-on, to a severe bout of gastro that hit mid-flight, it was a disaster from start to finish. To top it off, flight delays turned what should have been a manageable journey into a 48-hour ordeal, all while traveling with a one-year-old. At first, I wanted to forget the whole thing. But as I reflected, I realised this wasn’t just a nightmare; it was a powerful lesson. Challenges, whether in travel or business, test our resilience and mindset. They push us to adapt, to find solutions, and to grow. If you’re building a business, particularly in Direct Selling, mindset is everything. It’s not just about strategies; it’s about how you respond to obstacles. The key takeaway? What we repeat, we retain. By revisiting our toughest experiences, we find wisdom and ensure we don’t have to learn the same lesson twice. So, while I hope to never re-live that trip, I know it made me stronger, and maybe these lessons will help you, too. We’ll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [03:49] Life lessons from a travel nightmare relates to business strategy ➡ [05:24] On-going learning experience ➡ [07:45] What you can and cannot control ➡ [10:26] Attitude toward challenges ➡ [13:13] You attract more flies with honey than with vinegar ➡ [15:24] Be present at the moment and put one foot in front of the other ➡ [18:00] One step over the other ➡ [20:03] You cannot feel fear and gratitude simultaneously ➡ [23:18] Choose gratitude over fear in your business ➡ [24:21] Final Thoughts ➡ [25:07] 2 things I’m going to ask you for Resources: Book recommendation How to Eat a Frog by Brian Tracy: https://www.amazon.com/Eat-That-Frog-Great-Procrastinating/dp/162656941X Are you ready to keep growing? What do you do when you're feeling stuck or unmotivated? As an entrepreneur and a mother, I’ve faced my share of challenges. There are days when I feel drained, uninspired, or overwhelmed by setbacks. But what I’ve learned over the years is that while I can't control what happens around me, I can control how I respond. One powerful lesson I picked up from a mentor is that where focus goes, energy flows. If I fixate on problems, they seem to grow. But if I shift my attention to solutions, opportunities start appearing. I love the analogy of teaching a child to ride a bike, if you tell them, “Don’t hit the rock,” they’ll hit it every time. But if you guide them by saying, “Follow the path,” they naturally steer away from obstacles. The same applies to life and business. So, how do we redirect our focus? I use five key strategies. First, start your day with intention. Set your mindset before the day sets it for you. Second, practice gratitude, it’s a game-changer. Third, fill your cup; take time for self-care. Fourth, when in doubt, move your body, physical movement shifts energy. And lastly, the most important one? You’ll have to stick around to find out. By consciously choosing our focus, we empower ourselves to create momentum, even in tough times. We’ll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [06:48] Starting your day or week intentionally ➡ [08:57] Disclaimer: I am not perfect at… ➡ [10:08] Do some priming ➡ [12:24] It is impossible to feel gratitude and fear simultaneously ➡ [16:33] You can’t pour from an empty cup ➡ [17:41] Try cup sipping activity ➡ [20:25] When in doubt move your body ➡ [21:50] There’s value in breathing exercises ➡ [27:37] Law of reciprocity ➡ [28:58] When was the last time you commented on someone else’s post? ➡ [30:41] Short recap ➡ [32:03] Final Thoughts Resources: Book The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma: https://bit.ly/3Xu2dY1 Priming Exercise Priming Exercise by Tony Robbins: https://bit.ly/3F8rjp9 Are you ready to keep growing? How can businesses retain customers more effectively? Customer retention is not just a smart business strategy, it’s essential. Research shows that acquiring a new customer costs six times more than retaining an existing one. Yet, many businesses focus heavily on new customer acquisition while neglecting those who have already made a purchase. So, how can you ensure customers stay loyal and continue to engage with your brand? One key strategy is delivering exceptional customer service. This means not just meeting expectations but exceeding them. Customers remember how a business makes them feel, and a positive experience can turn a one-time buyer into a lifelong advocate. Another powerful retention tool is personalised communication. Sending tailored messages, exclusive offers, or even a simple thank-you note can strengthen relationships and keep your brand top of mind. Additionally, happy customers become your best marketers. Word-of-mouth referrals and third-party validation are invaluable, often driving new business without any extra cost. Encouraging user-generated content, testimonials, and reviews can enhance credibility and attract even more loyal customers. Retention isn’t just about keeping customers, it’s about turning them into brand ambassadors. By focusing on excellent service, personalised interactions, and leveraging satisfied customers’ voices, businesses can create long-term success and sustainable growth. We’ll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [01:37] Jumping from person to person ➡ [02:29] Paying more attention to retention ➡ [02:50] Personalised experience ➡ [04:34] Ways to personalise a customer’s experience ➡ [07:23] Exceptional customer service ➡ [09:19] Ways to give great customer service ➡ [13:57] Loyalty programs in your business ➡ [14:48 Create a VIP Facebook group ➡ [15:00] The ABC technique ➡ [17:31] Have value driven content ➡ [19:21] Final Thoughts Are you ready to keep growing? How well are you managing your time? If you’re a busy parent, entrepreneur, or someone juggling a side hustle, you’ve probably felt the pressure of never having enough hours in the day. Time is our most precious commodity and once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Yet, so many of us don’t treat it with the respect it deserves. The good news is that you can reclaim control over your schedule and make time work for you. Here are a few strategies I’ve picked up from incredible mentors over the years—lessons I wish I’d known much sooner. First, prioritise with intention. Start each week by identifying your top three priorities. These should align with your goals and values, ensuring your time is spent on what truly matters. Second, schedule everything. Whether it’s work tasks, family commitments, or personal time, diarising keeps you organised and focused. Treat your calendar like a sacred space. Lastly, embrace efficiency. Say no to distractions and tools that overcomplicate your process. Simplicity is often the fastest path to productivity. The key takeaway? Time management isn’t about doing more; it’s about doing what matters most. By mastering your schedule, you’ll create space for growth, connection, and the life you’ve been dreaming of. Let’s dive in together and explore how these tips can transform not only your business, but your entire approach to time. You’ve got this! Have you ever wondered how scammers succeed? What tempts people to fall into their traps, and how can we protect ourselves? Today, I’m excited to dive into this topic with my incredible friend, mentor, and business coach, Mike Johnston. This is part one of a very special three-part series on scams—a topic that’s deeply personal for me, because I was scammed. This series was recorded months ago. At the time, I wasn’t even sure I had been scammed. A whirlwind of revelations followed, including legal proceedings involving the individual who scammed me, someone operating under the names Tiffany Black or Tiffany Bentley. Authorities now believe many other victims have yet to come forward. If you think this sounds familiar or know you’ve been affected, please contact the Tweed Heads Police Station in Australia to share your story. Scammers thrive on silence, and by speaking out, we can prevent others from becoming victims. In this episode, Mike and I share our personal experiences with scams, along with valuable insights and strategies for protecting yourself. We’ve also included updates on how to spot common scams and ways to avoid emotional traps. If you have been a victim too, let me remind you: it’s not your fault and you are not alone. Are you struggling with the fear of rejection? If so, you’re not alone. For most people, rejection is a major obstacle, especially when it comes to selling. Whether you're starting out or have been in the game for years, overcoming this fear is crucial for success. But here's the good news: confidence in sales is a skill you can build, and with the right strategies, even the fear of rejection can become manageable. I’ve been there. Throughout my career in some of the toughest sales roles, I faced rejection countless times. It’s something many of us struggle with, but it doesn’t have to define our success. From the age of 14, I’ve learned and applied powerful strategies taught by incredible mentors. These lessons have helped me not only overcome rejection but to turn sales into a more enjoyable and fulfilling process. One key mindset shift is understanding that rejection isn’t personal; it’s part of the process. Building daily habits that reinforce resilience can transform how you approach selling. Additionally, by creating authentic connections and focusing on the value you bring, sales becomes less about pitching and more about building relationships. Today, I want to share practical strategies that have worked for me, approaches that can help you show up confidently, make meaningful connections, and achieve real results. Who knew selling could actually be fun? With the right perspective and tools, it absolutely can be. Let’s dive into this journey together and explore how you can overcome rejection, build confidence, and make sales an empowering experience. How can you sell without selling on Social Media? Many Direct Sellers feel overwhelmed by the constant need to promote their products or services. But what if you could achieve better results with less effort and less "salesy" tactics? Today, let's dive into five strategies that will revolutionise how you approach Social Media marketing. The first thing to understand is that Social Media is constantly changing and evolving. So we should always assess the content type we're putting out there. Ask yourself if it's still relevant to your audience, is it aligned with your business goals? If not, it's time for a shift. One critical takeaway is this: people buy from those they like, know, and trust. That's why being authentically you on Social Media is your greatest asset. Your personality—not your technical skills—is what attracts the right people to your business. Focus on how you can share your personality to build trust, rather than simply mimicking what you see other people do. As you listen to the strategies I share, think about how you can use them to align with your goals, and in a way that fits with who YOU are. Today I will share with you posting strategies that educate, entertain, or inspire rather than focusing solely on promotion. Why? When you provide value, your audience will see you as a trusted resource—and that trust leads to sales. Additionally, take advantage of free resources like community groups or events where you can interact with others, share insights, and stay updated on platform changes. Remember, implementation is key. As you listen to these strategies, think about how you can apply them immediately in a way that feels genuine to you. Selling without selling isn't just possible—it's a powerful way to grow your business authentically. So, what will you implement today? We'll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [02:08] Free resources available ➡ [04:42] Importance of being you ➡ [06:25] Posting strategy #1: Third party validation ➡ [08:06] People follow people ➡ [10:13] Posting strategy #2: Power of storyselling ➡ [11:43] Leaving more questions than answers leads to meaningful conversations ➡ [12:51] Posting strategy #3: Lifestyle integration ➡ [14:55] Stop worrying about being the perfect version of yourself ➡ [15:30 Benefits of being a member of our Accelerator group ➡ [16:25] Posting strategy #4: Education and value ➡ [18:15] Posting strategy #5: Entertain while staying true to yourself ➡ [21:36] Analyse your previous posts ➡ [22:58] A little reminder ➡ [23:50] Final thoughts Are you ready to keep growing? There's been a HUGE change happen on Facebook and Instagram, a change that impacts us all, yet no one's really talking about it… This change, although some might call it uncomfortable, actually represents a new way of expanding your network, finding new leads and reaching your dream customers! The change I'm talking about is an exciting opportunity that many business owners aren't talking about enough - unconnected distribution on Social Media. If you're using platforms like Facebook and Instagram to grow your business, you've likely noticed a shift in how content is delivered. Even as a user, you might have noticed you've been seeing more content from ‘people you don't know'. This change is the increase in un-connected distribution. But did you know this change can help you reach customers outside your immediate circle? The best part? Un-connected Distribution can be a powerful tool for everyone, and you don't need to be a tech expert or have thousands of followers to benefit! What truly matters is that you're committed to connecting with your audience, authentically. In this episode, I'll explain how unconnected distribution allows your content to reach more people, even those you've never met, without having to pay for it. It's both a challenge and an opportunity, and I'll show you how to leverage it to grow your business. Let's dive in and explore how this shift can work for you! John was raised in a Direct Selling family business, this guided John to embark on his career in Direct Selling straight from his studies and he now has over 10 years of industry experience! John spent two years as a distributor to gain insight into both sides of the industry and to better understand how to partner with the field. John's passion is to see people change their lives in building success. John implemented a massive efficiency overhaul, using technology to bring huge savings to the company in travel and office space. But most crucial was his decision to disband the existing leadership team, as part of an effort to overhaul the sales strategy. Naturally, such a change was hard for the team to adapt to, but eventually, John was able to secure the support of stakeholders, with an emphasis on building trust and communication. Are you feeling a little overwhelmed? Have you ever found yourself ‘stuck' and unsure of what to do next in your business? You are not alone. These are feelings many of us recognize, especially when we face challenges that seem insurmountable. In this episode, I want to talk about just that: overcoming those moments when you feel immobilised and don't know how to move forward. We've all been there, feeling like our feet are stuck in cement, waiting for some magical moment to jolt us into action. But waiting doesn't help us, right? In fact, staying still is often the worst thing we can do. Over my career, I've faced this many times and I know I'll experience it again - as we all do and will. The key is knowing how to handle it when it happens. That's why I've developed five strategies that help me to keep moving, build momentum, and avoid getting stuck for too long. These strategies aren't just for when everything is going smoothly—they're designed for those tough times when you need to pull yourself out of a rut. So, if you're ready to become an action-taker and push through those overwhelming moments, let's dive in and get your feet moving again! If you were interested in someone romantically, would you start by asking them to marry you on the first date? Of course not! That would be absurd, and that person would likely run for the nearest exit! Yet, this is exactly how many people approach potential customers on Social Media - jumping straight to the ask without first building a connection. Most people have had ‘that message' in their inbox that leaves them searching for the nearest escape so we think it's time to shine the spotlight back upon one of our favourite episodes and this week's Spotlight Special… Want to know how to date your ideal customer? We're not talking romantic dinners, sending flowers or a trip to the cinema… We're talking about one of my absolute favourite analogies and methods to build relationships with your ideal customers, and I'm excited to share it with you today!Imagine if on a first date someone asked “will you marry me?” … Going into a relationship, you don't ask for a marriage or a commitment the very first time. You haven't earned it yet. Selling is no different, you can't ask for a commitment straight up. The catch is, this is how many people show up on Social Media. They dive straight into the sell, asking for a commitment, before even taking their dream customer on one simple date. Here's the thing though; people buy from people they like, know and trust. So how do we build that trust, how do we ‘date' our customers and earn their commitment that we're chasing? Tune in as I share with you a simple formula that does exactly that, one that anybody can use easily and that actually WORKS. I'm going to arm you with tips and scripts that you can implement simply to help build your strategy, increase your performance and create better, longer lasting, relationships that grow a sustainable business. How do you get more comments, likes and interactions on your content? … To see results that reflect the effort you put in and know that posting on Social Media is worth your time and having an effect? It's time to talk about increasing your Facebook engagement! Let's start by clarifying what engagement actually means. The Social Media landscape has changed significantly, especially with the introduction of reels. Understanding the difference between reach and engagement is crucial. Reach is the number of feeds on which your post appears, the potential number of people who can see your content. Engagement, on the other hand, is when someone interacts with your content—be it through comments, clicks, shares, or other forms of interaction. Engagement is what we're all aiming for. When people interact with your content, they signal to the platform that they find it valuable. Consequently, the platform shows your content to more people. More engagement typically leads to higher reach, although this isn't always guaranteed. So how do you up your engagement? First, create content that resonates with your audience. Understand their interests and pain points, and tailor your content accordingly. Consistency is also key—regular posting keeps your audience engaged and interested. Interactive posts, like polls and questions, encourage audience participation. Responding to comments and messages promptly shows that you value your audience's input, fostering a sense of community. These practices will give you a great start toward noticeable improvement in your Social Media engagement, but what else can (and should!) you do? Let's look at simple strategies to up your engagement and see a better return on your Social Media efforts! Grab your pen and paper, and get ready to take notes as I drop tips and insights you can easily and immediately apply to your Social Media strategy for real results! I'm doing it. It's time to get a little controversial. One of my favourite books, "Oversubscribed" by Daniel Priestly, emphasises the importance of not following the pack, but instead standing by your values, even if it means standing out from the crowd. In this episode, I want to share a rather controversial opinion of mine that often goes against what many other Social Media Trainers and Coaches believe - specifically in the MLM, Network Marketing and Party Plan Direct Selling Industry. I'm passionate about this industry, and also passionately believe there's a right way to grow your business, especially on Social Media. You see, an old friend of mine contacted me recently with an unsolicited message on Facebook about a business opportunity. When her name popped up, I smiled, thinking she was reaching out with genuine care and an interest in reconnecting… Only to find out she was promoting her new business opportunity with a rather generic message, sent to another hundred others too. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Social Media wants us to be exactly that - social. BUT with the rise of businesses on platforms such as Facebook, there has also been a spotlight on some bad (antisocial!) behaviours by a few, affecting many. And you know what? Facebook has even clamped down on the Direct Selling industry due to these behaviours - ouch! So, I want to take a moment to talk about how to best behave on Social Media; in a way that will build meaningful and lasting relationships, actually grow your business and avoid getting your Personal Profile (and all the pictures, memories and everything important that goes along with it!) flagged by Facebook. Let's talk all things Personal Profiles; what's okay, what you should do, and what you absolutely shouldn't. I'll discuss practices taught by others in my field and tell you what I won't stand for. In short, I believe in using Personal Profiles correctly to benefit your business growth. So, if that's something you want for your business, this is the episode for you. Let's dive in! We'll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [5:34] Profile vs Page vs Groups, what's the difference ➡ [8:20] Three key things needed for a successful Direct Selling business ➡ [8:53] How your Profile, Page and Groups help your business ➡ [10:02] Personal Profile do's and don'ts ➡ [11:06] Don't post constantly about your business or product ➡ [11:20] Do remember why people are connected to you ➡ [13:22] Don't spam ➡ [15:09] Do use your Personal Profile to connect to your Business Page and Group ➡ [19:31] The Russian roulette of connections via LinkedIn ➡ [22:09] Don't send unsolicited messages ➡ [26:19 Do use your Personal Profile to create curiosity and intrigue ➡ [30:09] How to create curiosity and intrigue ➡ [33:43] Don't be anything but you ➡ [33:56] Build trust ➡ [38:01] Don't post for the purpose of click-baiting ➡ [42:48] Inform people ➡[44:08] Look at the bigger picture Resources: Book recommendation ➡ Oversubscribed by Daniel Priestly: https://bit.ly/46i68uj Connect with Direct Selling Accelerator: ➡ Visit our website: https://www.auxano.global/ ➡ Subscribe to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/DirectSellingAccelerator ➡ Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/auxanomarketing/ ➡ Sam Hind's Instagram: https://instagram.com/samhinddigitalcoach ➡ Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/auxanomarketing/ ➡ Email us: grow@auxano.global If you have any podcast suggestions or things you'd like to learn about specifically, please send us an email at the address above. Entrepreneurship is a powerful tool. It starts with a simple idea, often with nothing, and grows into something that creates opportunities for many. A true entrepreneur not only looks at the opportunities their business may afford onto themselves, but also embraces the positive impact they can have on others - today's guest is a shining example of this. Let me introduce you to Sarah Shadonix, the CEO and founder of Scout & Cellar. Scout & Cellar is a Direct Selling company that produces and sells wine. They are one of the largest direct-to-consumer wineries in the USA. What I love most about Sarah and the story of Scout & Cellar is the vision they cast for the future. As Sarah speaks, you can hear her raw passion. She joins us to not only explore what she is doing with her Scout & Cellar mission and where it is headed, but to also share where it stems from - highlighting how starting with the right foundation of integrity is essential in everything we do. In Sarah's words, “Integrity is a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.” Sarah's mindset is incredible, alongside her passion for giving other people amazing growth opportunities. She talks openly and honestly; admitting that, although we are often great at celebrating and sharing our shining successes in business, we don't often talk about our mistakes and failures - the parts of the journey that truly helped us to learn and grow. The parts that can encourage others to get back up, keep going and do the same. From the highs and lows, to her mission and ambitions, I know you're going to love Sarah and this interview. Tune into this episode as we have a little bit of fun, discovering what's at the heart of the largest franchising chain in the Southern Hemisphere. We recently had the honor and privilege of interviewing someone we've admired for many years: the incredible Jim Penman, one of Australia's most iconic entrepreneurs, and founder of Jim's Mowing. If you're an Australian, you know exactly who we're talking about. If you're not, let me fill you in. Jim is one of those childhood heroes for many of us in business. He started Jim's Mowing back in 1982 with just a $24 investment. Now, he's got 5300 franchise businesses generating over $500 billion annually! What we loved most about this interview is how real, relatable, and honest Jim is. We went in not knowing what to expect, which often makes for the best conversations. If you want a good laugh and to hear the story of a true Aussie in business, this is it. We're not going to spoil it all for you. Just grab your pen and paper because Jim drops a lot of golden nuggets in this episode. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the story of the incredible Jim Penman, founder of Jim's Mowing. While pursuing his history PhD at Latrobe University, Jim Penman quickly found that research in the area of his passion—epigenetics—would require a significant amount of money for such a massive research project, so Jim established a side gardening company. With a $24 investment, this became a full-time mowing service in 1982. With the success of the Jim's Group, he was slowly able to start funding that research. Now, his team includes a full-time scholar and several graduate students at a La Trobe University lab with many academic papers published in renowned journals. Jim has written that research into his books including “Biohistory: Decline and Fall of the West.” Dr. Penman believes that a thorough examination of epigenetics will lead to a resolution of many of societies biggest challenges, including depression and obesity. Over forty years later, the Jim's Group has 48 divisions and more than 5,000 franchisees in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Jim's most successful franchises include Jim's Mowing, Jim's Cleaning, and Jim's Dog Wash. Jim continues to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company and is readily available to all of his franchisees as well as any customer with a significant complaint. Recently, especially in the last 12 to 18 months, I've noticed a big shift in how we work and connect. We're all craving more human interaction and genuine connections, but with the incredible AI tools and other technologies at our fingertips, how do we balance productivity and authenticity? Are we losing the connections people crave in order to simply save time? While we all value increasing our capacity, opening the door to new ideas and the welcome streamlining of tasks in an ever-busy world, are we losing something important in our connections with others through our search to save our own time? Will the content you're producing and the interactions you're having build meaningful relationships or are they losing your personality as your workload is automated? In today's power podcast episode, I want to talk about three things we should never automate and why it's so important. As we adapt to any technological changes, it's essential to find balance. We all want results and to preserve the precious time we have but let's also not lose sight of maintaining those personal touches that make our connections special. Let's explore how we can use the latest tools at our fingertips effectively without losing what makes our interactions truly meaningful. We'll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [1:50] Automating and mass producing your content ➡ [2:55] Content that is effective is… ➡ [4:16] My recommendation ➡ [4:55] Never automate your captions ➡ [6:09] Insert your personality ➡ [8:22] Automated Messenger responses ➡ [9:39] Marked as “responded to” which means… ➡ [11:29] Is automating worth it? I'm excited to share three power-packed tips to leverage AI for your Social Media content. But first, let's address the elephant in the room - AI. It's everywhere, right? Like a newborn baby popping up in your Facebook feed every minute. The sudden change and massive presence can be overwhelming, to say the least. But fear not, I've got a little analogy to help us navigate this AI frenzy. Imagine AI as this constantly evolving, newborn baby, and then picture a humble hammer. Now, you wouldn't use a newborn baby to build a house, nor would you cradle a hammer. It's all about matching the tool to the task at hand. Just as you wouldn't expect a hammer to provide the warmth and care a baby needs, you can't expect every iteration of AI to suit your specific Social Media needs. So, let's approach AI like a seasoned craftsman. We don't need to embrace every new version that hits the market; instead, we need to understand which tool best aligns with our goals. It's about being discerning in our choices, understanding the strengths and limitations of each tool in our arsenal. Sure, AI is flashy, and it's tempting to jump on every new trend, but let's not forget the fundamentals: authenticity and connection! These are the true foundations of effective Social Media engagement. So, while AI can certainly enhance our efforts, let's not lose sight of what truly matters: meaningful interactions with our audience. Let's apply AI like the experts we are - thoughtfully, purposefully, and always with our audience in mind. After all, it's not just about keeping up with the latest trends; it's about building genuine connections that stand the test of time. We'll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [1:50] Hammer analogy ➡ [3:12] AI is… ➡ [5:03] An amazing tool ➡ [8:07] Be very careful when using AI ➡ [11:01] A little reminder ➡ [11:44] Using AI for content ideas ➡ [12:57] Sample prompt #1 for your Social Media content ➡ [14:12] Sample prompt #2 for your videos or reels ➡ [16:15] Sample prompt #3 for your content creation ideas ➡ [17:26] Simple tweaks to make it more interesting and fun Connect with Direct Selling Accelerator: ➡ Visit our website: https://www.auxano.global/ ➡ Subscribe to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/DirectSellingAccelerator ➡ Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/auxanomarketing/ ➡ Sam Hind's Instagram: https://instagram.com/samhinddigitalcoach ➡ Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/auxanomarketing/ ➡ Email us on: grow@auxano.global If you have any podcast suggestions or things you'd like to learn about specifically, please send us an email at the address above.
