It's a must-read that every person, religious and non-religious, should buy and peruse every night before bed. It'll make you think harder, pray more ardently, and understand your civilization better." — Ben Shapiro, host of "The Ben Shapiro Show" "Dennis Prager's commentary on Exodus will rank among the greatest modern Torah commentaries. That is how important I think it is. And I am clearly not alone... It might well be on its way to becoming the most widely read Torah commentary of our time—and by non-Jews as well as by Jews." — Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, bestselling author of Jewish Literacy Why do so many people think the Bible, the most influential book in world history, is outdated? Why do our friends and neighbors – and sometimes we ourselves – dismiss the Bible as irrelevant, irrational, immoral, or all of these things? This explanation of the Book of Exodus, the second book of the Bible, will demonstrate that the Bible is not only powerfully relevant to today's issues, but completely consistent with rational thought. Do you think the Bible permitted the trans-Atlantic slave trade? You won't after reading this book. Do you struggle to love your parents? If you do, you need this book. Do you doubt the existence of God because belief in God is “irrational?” This book will give you reason after reason to rethink your doubts. The title of this commentary is, “The Rational Bible” because its approach is entirely reason-based. The reader is never asked to accept anything on faith alone. As Prager says, “If something I write does not make rational sense, I have not done my job.” The Rational Bible is the fruit of Dennis Prager's forty years of teaching the Bible to people of every faith, and no faith. On virtually every page, you will discover how the text relates to the contemporary world and to your life. His goal: to change your mind – and then change your life.   Highly Recommended by ACU. Purchase his book at- https://www.amazon.com/Rational-Bible-Exodus-Dennis-Prager/dp/1621577724   The Rational Bible: Genesis by Dennis Prager  USA Today bestseller Publishers Weekly bestseller Wall Street Journal bestseller Many people today think the Bible, the most influential book in world history, is not only outdated but irrelevant, irrational, and even immoral. This explanation of the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, demonstrates clearly and powerfully that the opposite is true. The Bible remains profoundly relevant—both to the great issues of our day and to each individual life. It is the greatest moral guide and source of wisdom ever written. Do you doubt the existence of God because you think believing in God is irrational? This book will give you many reasons to rethink your doubts. Do you think faith and science are in conflict? You won't after reading this commentary on Genesis. Do you come from a dysfunctional family? It may comfort you to know that every family discussed in Genesis was highly dysfunctional! The title of this commentary is “The Rational Bible” because its approach is entirely reason-based. The reader is never asked to accept anything on faith alone. In Dennis Prager's words, “If something I write is not rational, I have not done my job.” The Rational Bible is the fruit of Dennis Prager's forty years of teaching the Bible—whose Hebrew grammar and vocabulary he has mastered—to people of every faith and no faith at all. On virtually every page, you will discover how the text relates to the contemporary world in general and to you personally. His goal: to change your mind—and, as a result, to change your life.   The Rational Bible: Deuteronomy: God, Blessings, and Curses by Dennis Prager Is the Bible, the most influential book in world history, still relevant? Why do people dismiss it as being irrelevant, irrational, immoral, or all of these things? This explanation of the Book of Deuteronomy, the fifth book of the Bible, will demonstrate how it remains profoundly relevant - both to the great issues of our day and to each individual life. Do you doubt the existence of God because you think believing in God is irrational? This book will cause you to reexamine your doubts. The title of this commentary is The Rational Bible because its approach is entirely reason-based. The listener is never asked to accept anything on faith alone. In Dennis Prager's words, “If something I write is not rational, I have not done my job.” The Rational Bible is the fruit of Prager's forty years of teaching to people of every faith and no faith at all. In virtually every section, you will discover how the text relates to the contemporary world in general and to you on a personal level. His goal: to change your mind - and, as a result, to change your life.

In this high-energy Friday edition of What's on Your Mind, host Scott Hennen cuts through the "liberal dribble" and media sensationalism surrounding the current state of America. The episode features a deep-dive Town Hall with Senator Kevin Cramer, covering the high stakes of the Iranian uprising and the "anti-cop" rhetoric fueling tension in Minnesota. The conversation shifts from global security to domestic victories, highlighting the often-ignored economic successes of the Trump administration's tax cuts. Later, Mike Lindell calls in fresh off a plane from Mar-a-Lago to discuss his 100% commitment to running for Governor of Minnesota and why the recent ICE drawdown in Minneapolis is actually a brilliant strategic move to expose political fraud. From "V-neck comforters" to the historical truth of the Confederacy, this episode is a masterclass in conservative perspective and grassroots activism. Standout Moments & Timestamps [00:01:07] – The Iran Credibility Gap Senator Kevin Cramer discusses the moral and strategic dilemma in Iran, noting that while the U.S. has the power to take out the regime's assets, the ultimate goal is supporting the Iranian people's own desire for regime change. +2 [00:03:35] – Reputation of Strength Cramer reflects on President Trump's earned reputation as a leader who takes a backseat to no one, arguing that the world is watching to see if there is a price to pay for doing wrong by America. Broadcast live from a quaint spot in Tiburon overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, Scott Hennen brings the energy of Super Bowl week to the airwaves. This episode is a masterclass in bridging the gap between North Dakota common sense and Silicon Valley innovation. Scott explores how the "ecosystem" of the Bay Area—built on solving problems and embracing failure—could be the key to unlocking North Dakota's potential as the "Silicon Valley of the Midwest." The show features a heavy-hitting lineup, including Senator Kevin Cramer, who addresses the heated "Town Hall" questions on everything from VA backlogs and DHS funding to the classy influence of Melania Trump. Later, NFL Hall of Famer Phil Hanson joins to talk Bison pride, the chaos of the transfer portal, and the "journeyman" magic of Sam Darnold. Whether you're here for the "Radio Graffiti" rants or the high-level investment talk, this episode captures the "art of the possible" from North Dakota to San Francisco. Episode Highlights [00:03:00] The "Town Hall" with Senator Kevin Cramer Senator Cramer weighs in on the political theater surrounding the DHS funding bill and responds to criticisms from former Senator Kent Conrad. He also discusses the "quiet confidence" of Melania Trump and her influence on the President. [00:06:45] Appropriation Battles and Rand Paul A deep dive into the practical side of D.C. politics. Cramer explains why he voted for certain appropriations bills and the nuances of working with "DOGE" cuts while maintaining the President's signature tax policies. [00:09:00] Veteran Affairs: Benefit of the Doubt? A powerful exchange with a local veteran leads to a discussion on cutting VA backlogs, reducing administrative bureaucracy, and the potential for non-traditional treatments like Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. [00:17:00] Bison on the Big Stage: Phil Hanson Buffalo Bills Hall of Famer Phil Hanson breaks down why he's rooting for a "Seattle slant" this Super Bowl. He praises the rookie success of Gray Zabel and the grit of the Bison offensive line in the NFL. [00:19:00] The NIL and Transfer Portal "Mess" Hanson and Hennen get real about the "college free agency" landscape. They discuss the impact of agents on locker room dynamics and why the "genie is out of the bottle" for the future of college football. Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks about Benny Johnson's investigation into Ilhan Omar's skyrocketing net worth and why the $5 million eStCru Winery that her husband Tim Mynett runs is looking more likely to be an elaborate fraud operation; "The View's" Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin sounding like huge supporters of the second amendment and conceal carry gun laws after the tragic shooting of Alex Pretti by Minneapolis ICE agents; Adam Carolla telling Fox News' Jesse Watters why celebrities like Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert should probably not comment on the recent ICE shootings given their track record of getting facts horribly wrong; White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt ripping into the press corp for allowing Tim Walz and Jacob Frey to spread lies about ICE agents and supporting dangerous ICE protests; John Fetterman admitting to Fox News' Sean Hannity that the Democratic Party lied to the American people about the security of the border; Marco Rubio telling Sean Hannity at a Fox News' Town Hall the real danger of the Democratic Party winning the midterm elections; and much more. Now we're talking! Some of the goons who stormed a church service last Sunday in St. Paul have now been arrested with more to come. Michael O'Neill from Landmark Legal explains what comes next and gives us his reaction to the raking over the coals of Jack Smith on the Hill yesterday. A stunning system of fraud and abuse inside the Ohio immigration court system has been discovered thanks to brilliant undercover reporting from Townhall.com reporter Amy Curtis who joins the show to lay it out. And we head into NFL Playoff weekend with just four teams left. Assistant head coach of the Seattle Seahawks Leslie Frazier was good enough to join us to share how his team is preparing, what he makes of all the big staffing shakeups across the league, and most of all - his love for Christ and the importance of his prayer life with his fellow coaches and players in the league courtesy of ScriptureUnion.comYou're invited to find the series "Coaches in the Word" - one of their featured series as well as their quarterly Bible guide "Encounter with God." -For more info visit the official website: https://chrisstigall.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisstigallshow/Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChrisStigallFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chris.stigall/Listen on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/StigallPodListen on Apple Podcasts: https://bit.ly/StigallShowSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
