This message is a powerful invitation to return to the source—to see your life through the lens of the story God has been telling since the beginning. From competing cultural narratives to watered-down identities, we're surrounded by stories that shrink our imagination. But in Genesis, we discover a better one. Pastor David reminds us that our lives aren't defined by our past, abilities, or circumstances—but by the power and character of the God who made us.This message walks through Genesis 1 and invites us to anchor our lives in four core truths:• God is the Source• God is Good• God is Worthy of Worship• God Can Be KnownYou weren't made to drift. You were made to belong—to know God, reflect His image, and live a story rooted in meaning, beauty, and truth.

Look! The Lion from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed and is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Worthy Is the Lamb 6 And I saw a Lamb standing in the center, near the throne, surrounded by the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. The Lamb seemed to have been slain, and he had seven horns and seven eyes (these are the seven spirits of God that have been sent into all the world). 7 The Lamb came and took the scroll out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne. 8 And when the Lamb took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders bowed down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls full of incense (these are the prayers of the saints). 9 And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals,     because you were slain,     and you bought us [2] for God with your blood         out of every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You made them [3] to be a kingdom and priests for our God, and they will reign on the earth. 11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels who were around the throne and around the living creatures and the elders. Their number was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands upon thousands. 12 With a loud voice they were saying: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. 13 I also heard every creature that is in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever. 14 The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders bowed down and worshipped. Revelation 4The Throne in Heaven[1] After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” [2] At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. [3] And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. [4] Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. [5] From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, [6] and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: [7] the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight. [8] And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”[9] And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, [10] the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,[11] “Worthy are you, our Lord and God,to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” (ESV)

What does it take to build something incredible from nothing—and then know when it's time to step back? In this episode, Casey sits down with Natalie Batlle, founder of Juno House Club, the women's membership club in Barcelona that has become a sanctuary for ambitious, soulful, and creative women from around the world. Natalie shares her journey from being a first-time founder building something fast without a playbook to transitioning out of the CEO role into a more strategic position as Chairwoman, and how she's learning to embrace this season of soul-searching and reflection. This is a conversation about the evolution of leadership, the gift of creating space for others even when you can't always enjoy it in the same way yourself, and what it means to honour both the vision and the journey. Natalie opens up about the founder's paradox—operating something so intensely that you can't fully experience it—and the bittersweet beauty of watching your creation take on a life of its own. They explore why not every founder is meant to be the operator, the discomfort of stepping into reflection when you're built to do, and the importance of celebrating what already exists before chasing what's next. In This Episode, You'll Discover: Why building something doesn't mean you're meant to operate it—and how to recognize the difference The reality of being a first-time founder learning to be CEO in real-time without a playbook What it means to transition from CEO to Chairwoman and step back from daily operations The founder's paradox: creating something so magical you can't fully experience it yourself Why soul-searching seasons can feel more uncomfortable than the intensity of building How intentional design and thoughtfulness attract the exact community you envision The importance of pausing to celebrate what you've built before visioning what's next What it means to trust that your creation is strong enough to evolve beyond you Resources & Next Steps: Connect with Natalie and learn more about Juno House Club Follow Natalie on Substack (yes, she started one!!). Have you ever reached the end of a year and felt the urge to pause - not to rush ahead with goals and plans, but to really sit with what this chapter has held? As 2025 draws to a close, today's solo episode is a gentle invitation to reflect, integrate and intentionally open the door to what's next. This episode was inspired by my recent Align & Manifest workshop, where reflection was paired with sound healing - allowing insight to land not just in the mind, but in the body. What unfolded in that space reminded me how powerful it is to slow down, feel, and consciously close a chapter before stepping into a new one. Throughout this episode, I guide you through a series of reflective questions you can journal with, sit with, or simply let land - whether you're listening quietly at home or on the move. There's no pressure to do this “perfectly”; you can always return to these questions when the moment feels right. I also share my own reflections from the year - what felt heavy, what surprised me, what supported me, and what I'm consciously releasing - alongside how embodiment and sound have become an increasingly important part of how I support integration and growth. This is a soft, spacious episode designed to help you close 2025 with awareness, gratitude and self-trust - and step into 2026 from a grounded, intentional place rather than autopilot. Reflection Questions: What felt heavy or challenging for you in 2025 - and how can you honour that honestly? What supported you, surprised you, or felt good this year - even in small, quiet ways? What did 2025 teach you about yourself, and what are you ready to let go of as this chapter closes? Choose a feeling for the year ahead? Who are you becoming as you move into your next chapter? What are you ready to welcome more of in 2026? And finally, what is your word for 2026? Key Takeaways: Why pausing at the end of a year is an act of self-leadership, not avoidance Why choosing a feeling for the year ahead can be more powerful than rigid goals The role of sound healing in helping reflection integrate on a nervous system level Show Resources: Follow Emma, the Podcast Host on Instagram - HERE Learn More About 1:1 Coaching with Emma - HERE Book a FREE 30-minute Discovery Call with Emma - HERE Learn More About Emma's Book, Worthy and Wealthy - HERE If you loved this episode, I'd be so grateful if you shared it with someone who might need a gentle pause right now. This sermon exploring Psalm 145 characterizes the season of Advent as a spiritual journey that culminates in a lifestyle of thanksgiving. The speaker outlines a biblical framework where gratitude is a direct response to God's nature as great, good, and faithful, rather than a reaction to personal circumstances. By examining how God initiates grace through protection and provision, the text argues that true worship requires active confession and testimony. The message concludes by challenging listeners to transition from passive spectators of grace to active participants through praise, witness, and generosity. Ultimately, the source presents thanksgiving not as a fleeting emotion, but as a disciplined way of life that carries believers into the new year.Support the showThanks for listening! My husband shares where he is at just over two years sober, specifically how his program and mental health have evolved.Together, we talk about the stress of family dynamics, expectations, grief, finances, and the nonstop pace of the season, along with the practical ways we take care of ourselves so resentment and burnout do not quietly take the wheel. From checking in with each other, to protecting our routines, to knowing when to opt out instead of powering through, this episode is about choosing sobriety on purpose when things feel loud and heavy. If the holidays have ever made you question your recovery, miss old coping mechanisms, or feel alone in the effort it takes to stay grounded, this conversation is for you. In this final Advent music episode, Nicole Unice explores the beloved hymn “O Come, All You Faithful” as a powerful invitation—not just to celebrate Christmas, but to respond to it. Rather than merely observing the season, listeners are invited to come, behold, adore, and worship Christ as the center of the Christmas story. Drawing from Scripture across the Old and New Testaments, Nicole unpacks how this hymn calls us into joyful worship, faithful perseverance, and intentional participation in the life of Christ. This episode closes the Christmas hymns series with a reminder that true joy is found not in tradition alone, but in worshiping Jesus as Lord. Key Takeaways / Learning Points Joy is a posture of worship, not just a feeling Jesus is not just part of the Christmas story—He is the center of it Worship is the natural response to beholding Christ Faithfulness means continuing to receive God’s love, even in imperfection Christmas invites us to actively respond, not passively observe When we adore Christ, our hearts find true rest and alignment Bible Verses Referenced Psalm 100:1–2 – Worship the Lord with joyhttps://www.biblestudytools.com/psalms/100-1.html Micah 5:2 – The prophecy of Bethlehemhttps://www.biblestudytools.com/micah/5-2.html Matthew 2 – The Magi worship Jesushttps://www.biblestudytools.com/matthew/2.html Luke 2:8–20 – Angels announce Christ’s birthhttps://www.biblestudytools.com/luke/2-8.html John 1:1–14 – The Word became fleshhttps://www.biblestudytools.com/john/1-14.html Colossians 1:15–17 – Christ supreme over creationhttps://www.biblestudytools.com/colossians/1-15.html Revelation 5:12 – Worthy is the Lambhttps://www.biblestudytools.com/revelation/5-12.html Resources Mentioned: Free Christmas Eve Family Liturgyhttps://nicoleunice.com/christmas Hymn: “O Come, All You Faithful” Author Quote: C.S. How Therapists Can Actually Rest During the Holidays: Letting Go of Guilt, Productivity, and Instagram-Worthy Expectations Curt and Katie explore how therapists can create a real holiday break - not a performative or productivity-driven one. They discuss the pressure to rest “perfectly,” the guilt of not fully unplugging, how to shift into restorative downtime, and why passive vs. active rest matters. They also highlight anxiety, money scarcity, grief, and family dynamics that often intensify during the season, offering compassionate strategies for caring for yourself as a therapist and a human. Key Takeaways for Therapists You don't need an Instagram-worthy vacation: real rest is allowed. Rest is a process, not a switch; transition time matters. It's okay to be partially off and still check in lightly as needed. Passive rest (scrolling) and active rest (movement, nature, connection) serve different purposes. Anxiety, scarcity mindset, or family stress may drive overworking—notice the “why.” The holidays can be hard; grief and emotional complexity deserve compassion.
