Co-Host Raj Khedun (https://mountaintoppodcast.com/raj) My first time guest Raj Khedun is one of the few and the proud who has turned his philosophy degree into a viable living. He's done that by helping men harness the power of their breathing. Now, before you dismiss this as yet another attempt to get guys to do yoga, hear Raj out. You see, too many of us as men let ourselves get all worked up over the little things in life--and can't seem to find our 'off' switch for the stress we compile--when our masculine edge is found in those moments we keep our cool even when the chips are down for real. So just to get it out of the way, Raj isn't gonna make you wear spandex and do lotus poses, dude. What he is all about, however, is introducing what he calls his 3:3 Metaverse Method to get your breathing to work for you instead of against you. As you know, I don't do a whole lot of shows on this sort of thing. But Raj is indeed on to something. We do his exercise live on the show, and although it made for a weird couple minutes of audio, I can vouch for its immediate impact. According to Raj, controlling our breathing can obviate the need for some of the meds we take, help insomnia, and yes...improve our interactions with women. How? Well, for starters it enables that elusive 'flow state' that men's dating advice has sought after dating back to the PUA era. The breathing exercise could also theoretically help you get in state before approaching women at the grocery store, or even when a woman comes over your place for the first time. Remember also, that your state affects that of the woman you love and even your kids. The possibilities are only limited by the number of instances you want to gain control over your thoughts and emotions. Join our Month of Mindfulness Challenge; 30 days of short daily practices to help you slow down, check in, and care for your mind. Sometimes we wake up and jump straight into the day without checking in with ourselves. Our minds rush ahead to what's next or drift back to what's already happened, rarely pausing to notice how we actually feel in the here and now. For Day One of the Month of Mindfulness Challenge, we're slowing things down. Today's simple practice is all about arriving; taking a few quiet minutes to ground ourselves through breath, reconnect with our body, and gently ease into the present moment. Let's begin this journey together by making space to just be — grounded, calm, and aware. In this powerful conversation, Dr. G is joined by renowned bioenergetics expert Dr. Sue Morter to explore the missing link in modern medicine: energy. Together, they break down how disruptions in energetic flow—often caused by subconscious blocks, unresolved trauma, and negative self-perception—can manifest as physical and mental illness. Dr. Morter shares her groundbreaking approach to healing, offering practical techniques like slow belly breathing and her signature “object-subject” energy exercise. These tools help listeners rewire their internal energy systems, reclaim personal power, and activate the body's natural self-healing capabilities. The episode also dives into the role of childhood trauma, epigenetics, and the mind-body connection in the development of chronic disease, including cancer. Dr. G and Dr. Morter emphasize the importance of self-awareness, authenticity, and cultivating a positive internal environment to support lifelong health. #wellness #mentalhealth #healing Episode Resources: https://drsuemorter.com Free Extravaganza happening on April 26 https://nt113.isrefer.com/go/HYHYLExtra/Healthyself/ Heal Your Self Page https://nt113.isrefer.com/go/HYHYL/Healthyself/ ==== Thank You To Our Sponsors! In this episode: Envision your ideal future in vivid detail.Hey there! Thanks for joining me for today's guided meditation. We're going to explore something fun - visualizing the life of our dreams. The foundation of what we're doing is pretty simple - it's all about being present and mindful, without getting caught up in judging our thoughts. When we practice mindfulness, we can just be here now, instead of getting tangled up in worries about the past or future.Once we're feeling nice and relaxed, we'll start painting a picture in our minds of our ideal life. We'll make it feel super real by imagining all the little details - what we see, hear, and feel in this dream life of ours. Then, when we're really into that visualization, I've got a little surprise twist for us.Ready to dive in? Let's get started!PS: Introducing the…

Hey, beautiful humans! This week on the podcast we're continuing our journey into mental health in HR and leadership, especially following last week's conversation on vicarious trauma. Sadly, this week, we faced the loss of an employee, reminding us just how emotionally taxing this work can be. Today, we dive deeper into the practice of noticing—paying attention not just to our feelings but where we hold tension in our bodies. I'll walk you through a simple exercise to relax those tight spots and release stress throughout the day. Whether you're a leader guiding others or just trying to manage your own stress, learning to breathe, relax, and be present can be transformative. I challenge you this week: notice the tension, breathe into it, and let it go. And, as a bonus, try guiding someone else through this same practice. Trust me, it's a game changer in one-on-one meetings. Let's take 1% steps toward moving from hyper-reactive to highly regulated. You're doing great—keep going, and I'll see you next week!
