Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 – Der Gentleman-Ferrari Ferrari wollte mit dem 1972 vorgestellten 365 GT4 2+2 - später 400 und 412 genannt, einen Gran Tourismo auf den Markt bringen, der vor allem wohlhabende Geschäftsleute ansprach, die einen sportlichen „Daily Driver“ suchten. Um diese Zielgruppe zu erreichen, sollte sich das Auto wohltuend von dem eher brachialen Auftritt der Supersportler aus dem Hause Ferrari unterscheiden und weniger dick auftragen. „Nur das Auge des Connaisseurs erkennt ihn [den Ferrari].“ sagte Deutschlands größter Ferrari-Importeur Helmut Becker über den 365 GT4 2+2. Unter dem von Paolo Martin aus dem Hause Pininfarina gezeichneten Blechkleid verbarg sich tatsächlich Supersporttechnologie, die auf den Ferrari 365 GTC/4 „Il Gobbone“ (Der Bucklige) zurückgeht. Dessen Gitterohrchassis wurde um 20cm verlängert, die Fahrwerkselemente und der Zwölfzylinder-Motor mit ein paar wenigen Modifikationen beibehalten. Das reichte für zunächst 340 PS mit einer Befeuerung aus sechs Weber-Doppelvergasern. Später, beim 400er und dem 412er bekam der Ferrari zwar eine Einspritzanlage von Bosch, die Pferdestärken wurden trotzdem deutlich weniger, dass hatte vor allem mit den Abgasnormen auf dem wichtigen US-Markt zu tun. Erst mit dem letzten Typ der Baureihe 412 wuchs der Hubraum auf 4,9 Liter und damit wieder auf die anfänglichen 340 PS. Bei einigen Kritikern fiel das zurückhaltende Design durch. Mit mehr als 2000 Exemplaren und einer Bauzeit bis 1989 ist er aber dennoch einer der meistgebauten und am längsten produzierten Ferrari geworden. Ron und Frederic finden den Ferrari beide toll, wobei Frederic sich im direkten Vergleich für den kernigeren Konkurrenten Aston Martin V8 entscheiden würde, hätte er die Wahl. Wenn heute von „alternativen Antrieben“ bei Automobilen die Rede ist, dann werden oft Techniken als „neu“ genannt, die aber eigentlich seit vielen Jahren bekannt sind. Elektrische Antriebe gab es schon vor langen Jahren. Dass in den 1970er Jahren aber schon Strom IM Auto erzeugt wurde, ist weniger bekannt. Michael Weyland schaut mal zurück in die Automobilgeschichte.   Darum geht es diesmal!In der aktuellen Diskussion zum Klimawandel sind erneuerbare Energien ein wesentlicher Faktor, der in besonderem Maße auch die Automobilindustrie betrifft. Wann die Autoindustrie wirklich den letzten Verbrennungsmotor ausliefern wird, ist zwar noch immer Spekulation, aber der Tag wird kommen. Die Zukunft heißt jedenfalls: Elektromobilität. In welcher Form auch immer! Letztere ist prinzipiell allerdings gar nicht so neu, wie man vielleicht vermuten könnte: Ralph Müller, Pressesprecher Technik bei Toyota Deutschland.    Ralph Müller:Elektrifizierte Antriebe entwickelt Toyota ja schon länger. Im Herbst 1977, also vor über 45 Jahren, da hat Toyota auf der Tokio Motor Show das GP-Hybrid-Car auf Basis des Sports 800 vorgestellt. Das war so ein kleines Sport Coupé, rotlackiert mit schwarzem Kühlergrill, so ein richtiger Hingucker. Und das GT stand nicht etwa für Gran Tourismo, sondern für Gas-Turbine, also Gasturbine. Unter der Motorhaube steckte tatsächlich eine kleine Gasturbine und die hat dann über einen Generator den Strom für einen Elektromotor erzeugt, der 30 PS hatte. Obwohl es sich damals um ein hochinteressantes Projekt handelte, wurde dessen Entwicklung 1983 dennoch eingestellt. Der Stickstoffoxid-Ausstoß war einfach zu hoch. Doch damit war bereits die Basis für das nächste Projekt gelegt, das für den japanischen Automobilhersteller ein Erfolgsprojekt wurde.     Ralph Müller:Die Hybrid Erfolgsstory von Toyota begann Ende 1997 dann mit der Vorstellung des Prius der ersten Generation. Das war das erste Serienfahrzeug der Welt mit zwei Antriebsquellen. Ein Benzinmotor und ein Elektromotor. Beide arbeiten entweder zusammen oder unabhängig voneinander. Der Fahrer muss nichts tun, außer eben fahren. Das Hybridsystem entscheidet selbstständig, welcher Modus in der jeweiligen Fahrsituation der sinnvollste ist. Genial einfach. Das fanden von Anfang an auch nicht nur Weltstars wie Julia Roberts oder Leonardo DiCaprio, sondern auch Millionen „normaler“ Autokäufer. Ralph Müller:Ja bis heute hat Toyota weltweit mehr als 20 Millionen Hybrid und Plug-in Hybridfahrzeuge in über 90 Ländern verkauft. Alleine der Prius hat in vier Generation fast 5 Millionen verkaufte Einheiten vorzuweisen. Und diese Zahl wird in den kommenden Jahren garantiert noch deutlich nach oben gehen, denn …    Ralph Müller:Im Sommer 2023 kommt dann der Prius der fünften Generation als Plug-in auch nach Deutschland. Unter anderem wird ein Solardach verfügbar sein, mit dem man dann das Batteriepaket nachladen kann. Als Plug-in-Hybrid kann der Prius ohnehin voraussichtlich bis zu 69 Kilometer rein elektrisch und damit lokal emissionsfrei zurücklegen.
