Someone alerted the “All women need HRT!” community that I put up an apparently oh-so controversial post: That I don't take HRT. They came RUNNING. A gang of underf**ked orcs, rabid, foaming at the mouth, grunting and panting, clambering over the hills and mountains to arrive at my page and tell me HOW DANGEROUS IT WAS THAT I WASN'T TAKING HRT AND I WAS SO LUCKY THAT I DIDN'T HAVE SYMPTOMS AND JUST WAIT UNTIL MY VAGINA FALLS OFF. In true Anami-style, I took down each of these underf**ked orcs one-by-one. We even held a “Who wore it better/ who would you rather f**k” poll?” Frumpy HRT doctor or Hot asf no-HRT Kim Anami? We start by explaining the pañca-makāras, the transgressive offerings in the context of Kālī pūjā in the Vāmācāra, the so-called "left-hand path" of Tantra, mainly to point out the "curse" that is on alcohol & meat with reference to King Parsokhit in the Bhāgavātam, and to Pauranic stories of Brahmā & Śukra who all have cursed alcohol. We explain also how meat is cursed also before offering some modern day examples to show how that curse plays out. These remarks act as a sort of disclaimer for anyone who wants to experiment with Kaulācāra or Vāmācāra! Mainly, we present he Vāmācāra strategy of mitigating the curse, with a reference to the Brahma-śāpa-vimocana stotram which is used to remove the curse on the Devī Māhātmyam. We explain also the logic of using the pañca-makāra to demonstrate how this approach could be spiritually nourishing for a certain kind of person. We also offer a short digression about the esoteric deities of Vāmācāra: Ānanda-Bhairava & Ānanda-Bhairavī in sexual union, i.e ārdhanarīśvara. But very quickly we digress into a subtle discussion about the Big "I", pūrnahantā, my essential nature as the Self, Consciousness reflecting upon Herself through all beings sentient and insentient. This is the highest non-dual teaching of our tradition! As such, we present the pañca-makāras as a modality, an approach to co-opt intensely disturbing as well as intensely pleasurable experiences to "touch down" on my essential nature as blissful, ever-full consciousness! THE PATH BACK TO PLEASURE AND TRUST with Maria Merloni THE PATH [TESSA] As we navigate the season of “Love Month” here at the Open Nesters, I find myself reflecting deeply on what it means to truly inhabit our bodies and our relationships as we age. I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Maria Merloni, a therapist and sex and relationship coach who is redefining what it looks like to turn sixty with vitality, grace, and an open heart. Maria's journey is a powerful reminder that our “second act” in love can often be more profound and fulfilling than our first, provided we are willing to do the cellular work required to heal and grow. BACK TO PLEASURE AND TRUST One of the most striking parts of our conversation was Maria's transparency about her own path to finding a healthy partnership. After a first marriage and a cycle of dating men with unhealed addictions, she realized she wasn’t “bad at picking men”—she was actually picking the exact right people to point her toward her own unhealed childhood trauma. By engaging in deep, somatic therapy, she broke that cycle and eventually met her husband, Paul, at a Tantra gathering. Her story beautifully illustrates that when we heal our internal landscape, the external world—and the partners we attract—changes to meet us. Maria and Paul's relationship is a masterclass in intentionality. They don't just “exist” together; they celebrate what they call a “Relationship Party” every week. While many couples only discuss the logistics of finances or children, Maria and Paul use this time to check in on their spiritual development, their health goals, and how they are feeling within the relationship itself. It turns the implicit into the explicit, ensuring that no resentment builds and that both partners feel seen and cherished. It's a practice I believe every Open Nestor could benefit from as we redefine our lives after the kids have flown the nest. Beyond the home, Maria and Paul have embraced the freedom of the Open Nest by becoming “home exchangers,” traveling the world from Bali to Hawaii while working virtually. This sense of adventure isn’t just about the stamps in a passport; it's about a lifestyle of “life wide open.” They've turned their home into a sanctuary for the community, hosting non-sexual “cuddle parties” to address the touch-deprivation so common in our modern, tech-heavy world. This commitment to service and connection is a beautiful example of how we can use our wisdom years to foster community and healing for others. We also dove into the vital topic of embodiment and “Yoni Massage,” a practice Maria teaches to help women reconnect with their bodies. For many of us, aging can bring physical changes—menopause, dryness, or a sense of disconnection—that make us feel less “sensual.” Maria reclaims this not just as a sexual act, but as a spiritual and healing practice. She explained how “stuck energy” from past traumas can live in our tissues, and how gentle, intentional massage can release that energy, balance hormones naturally, and open up new pathways for pleasure that many women never even knew were possible. It was refreshing to hear Maria debunk the “malarkey” of the patriarchy regarding women's sexual potential. She reminded me that our power is often tied to our sexual functioning and our ability to feel pleasure, yet we have been conditioned to feel shame or believe we have limitations. Whether it's exploring the lost art of the “sacred spot” or simply learning to love our bodies as they are today, the journey toward sexual empowerment doesn’t have an expiration date. At 64, I find myself constantly learning new ways to appreciate my own “juiciness” and presence, and Maria's work is a guiding light for that exploration. We closed our talk with a beautiful sentiment from her husband, Paul: the intention to “make every moment sacred.” Despite the very real hardships life has thrown their way—including the loss of a child and family health struggles—they choose to remain present. Using techniques from Tantra, they focus on the “now,” whether that's the color of the morning sky or the sensation of breath. As Open Nesters, we have the choice to stay stuck in the grief of the “empty” nest or to awaken to the divinity in every moment. I am choosing the latter, and I hope Maria's wisdom inspires you to do the same. About Tessa Tessa Krone is the engine behind and the face of The Open Nesters. When trauma is unhealed, it can unconsciously interfere with our ability to experience loving, intimate relationships. A lot of “s*xual healing” practices in the west, including kink, BDSM, or tantra, can keep people stuck in cycles of trauma.Trauma is the result of a lack of love. It creates dissociation from the body and aspects of one's self. Therefore, practices that are not rooted in love can perpetuate trauma without actually healing it.In this week's podcast, special guest Sunny Grigorova and I talk about How Past Woundings and Unhealed Trauma affect your Relationships. We look at:* The poison of blaming your partner* How to truly hear your partner and increase connection* What stops people from relating authenticallyYou can listen on all major platforms including iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. This is a touchy subject. Ryan and Alex journey through the tantric cosmology of Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism, exploring the bardo realms that bridge life and death and the dreamlike illusion of samsara. They reflect on awakening and the realization of nirvana, examining how the mind's psychic projections shape human experience across lifetimes. They also cover the spiritual practices that allow one to see beyond illusion and awaken to a deeper, enduring reality.
For years, we thought better sex meant better techniques. New positions. More spark. More effort. More performance. But what if incredible sex isn't created by trying harder…what if it emerges when pressure disappears? In this episode of Reignite: Love, Sex & Truth for Conscious Couples, we unpack why performance kills desire, how nervous system safety unlocks erotic depth, and why the sex only became incredible once the pressure to make it incredible was gone. This conversation moves beyond surface-level sex advice and into embodied intimacy, sacred touch, and layered orgasmic experience. What You'll Hear in This Episode Why trying to fix sex rarely works and how performance culture quietly sabotages intimacy How the conditioning that keeps us in our heads instead of our bodies during sex Why pressure shuts down desire, and safety reopens it What is the sequence that transforms sex What are the four levels of orgasm, and why do most couples never move beyond the first How sacred touch practices shift intimacy from mechanical to embodied Why incredible sex isn't forced When intimacy deepens long enough… It's no longer about fixing sex. And that's when the sex becomes incredible.

In this episode, Hareesh reads the first chapter of the Vijñāna-Bhairava-Tantra audiobook, published in the Tantra112 app. He introduces the text and guides us through its opening verses, where Bhairavī turns to her beloved Bhairava and asks: what is the true nature of reality? Despite having heard and studied the teachings in depth, she remains unsatisfied and longs for the essential truth. So many couples say they want their sex life back. But what they're actually longing for isn't more performance… It's more presence. In this episode of Reignite: Love, Sex & Truth for Conscious Couples, Kim & Roberto unpack why fading desire is rarely about libido — and almost always about emotional safety, nervous system regulation, and depth of connection. They explore the difference between mechanical sex and sacred intimacy, and why so many long-term couples are unknowingly pressing the gas and the brake at the same time. This conversation invites you to look beneath the surface and ask a more honest question:Do I want more sex… or do I want to feel deeply met? What You'll Hear in This EpisodeWhy couples often think they want more sex — when what they're actually craving is emotional intimacyHow stress, survival mode, and emotional disconnection quietly shut down desireWhat is the difference between mechanical sex and sacred intimacy rooted in presenceWhat are the four levels of orgasm, and why do most couples never move beyond the firstHow emotional safety, transparency, and vulnerability reopen the body. Why intimacy is cultivated through practice, not pressure or performance. Sex doesn't disappear because you're broken. It fades when safety fades. And when couples learn how to restore emotional connection… desire often returns naturally. The intimacy you've been missing was never about sex.It was about depth. ✨ Save your spot for our upcoming February and April Group Couples Retreat: A sacred, guided experience for five couples ready to reconnect, heal, and reignite. How much sex in a relationship is normal? What should couples do after 10 years of marriage, and much more. Plus, listen to CJ reading Chris Hooley some ai generated suggested sext texts. From Non-Fiction to “Self-Help Fiction”Dr. Read's transition into fiction was born from a desire to reach women who might find traditional non-fiction a “slog”. After the success of her bestseller Till Sex Do Us Part, she developed a five-step program that she eventually wove into the lives of four fictional characters in The Sex Course. Her new book, The Taboo Show, continues the journey of these four women as they explore the “Taboo Sex Show”—a trade show experience Dr. Read knows well from her years as a mainstage speaker. From tantric skepticism to “Wiccan sex magic,” the story uses relatable characters to demystify complex topics.Expert Advice for Writers and Couples. One of the most enlightening parts of the episode was Dr. Read's advice on the craft of writing intimacy. She admits that writing sex scenes is “incredibly difficult” and requires a delicate balance. Her top tip? Edit out the “darlings.” To keep fiction engaging, she often removes up to 80% of the educational content to focus on the character's emotional reaction rather than the instruction itself.Advice for couples at every stage:* New Couples: Slow down and enjoy the courtship; don't rush the buildup.* The 6-Month Mark: This is when bad habits form. Start having conversations now before the “newness” wears off.* The 10-Year Veterans: Focus on “erotic threads” outside the bedroom—small acts of kindness and desire throughout the day to help bridge the “delayed sexual response”.Demystifying the “Taboo.”Dr. Read also breaks down the common misconceptions around Tantra, describing it simply as an exchange of energy and a way to build pleasure through connection. She encourages couples to lean into the awkwardness of talking about sex, noting that most people can share their bodies for decades but still struggle to share their words.Final Thoughts & Pre-Order Info.Whether you're looking to spice up your Valentine's weekend or looking for tips on writing authentic, “classy” intimacy in your next novel, this episode is a must-watch.Dr. Trina Read's new novel, The Taboo Show, is available for pre-order now and officially launches on February 28th. Send Us a Message! What actually makes a group feel safe enough to transform? We open with a vulnerable debrief from a tantric couples retreat—where the intention was beautiful but the container felt thin—and use it to map the anatomy of true space holding. From feeling “muted” to identifying the missing check-ins, we explore how safety, consent, and integration are built through small, deliberate choices rather than rushed practices. In this episode, we'll explore:
“Real power is speaking your desire without being attached to the outcome.”What if the real power isn't getting what you want but having the courage to ask for it?In this episode, Dennis Hull joins to talk about sovereignty, desire, boundaries, rejection, and why attachment to outcome quietly runs so many of our lives. We unpack the philosophy behind tantra play spaces, the difference between safety and sovereignty, and why real community can't be built online alone. This is a conversation about pleasure without performance, asking without expectation, and learning how to stay present even when you hear no.Messy. Barney was about love. It was always about love.” This Earth Xperience features David Joyner, actor, tantric practitioner, and the original performer inside the Barney costume on the globally recognized children's television show Barney & Friends.David Joyner portrayed Barney the Dinosaur from 1991 to 2001, bringing physical life to one of the most recognizable characters in children's television history. While Bob West provided the voice, Joyner embodied the movement, energy, and presence behind the purple character seen by millions of children worldwide. Before stepping into the role, Joyner studied theater at Texas A&M University and later became a certified tantric practitioner, a path that has shaped his understanding of energy, touch, healing, and human connection. In this episode, the conversation moves beyond nostalgia. David reflects on what it meant to physically carry a character built entirely around love, affirmation, and emotional safety. He explains how being inside the costume was both physically demanding and spiritually intentional. Every hug, every gesture, every movement had to communicate warmth and reassurance without facial expression. The conversation also explores the intersection between performance and presence. David shares how his training in tantra informed the way he understood energy exchange, particularly in a children's environment where emotional safety matters deeply. Rather than separating his acting career from his spiritual path, he describes both as rooted in the same principle: conscious connection. The episode invites listeners to reconsider what it means to hold space for others. Whether through television, touch, teaching, or simply being present, David speaks about love not as a slogan but as a practiced discipline. He reflects on identity beyond a famous character and how public perception can both elevate and limit how people see you. Each Earth Xperience has its own fingerprint. The X represents the lived experience being explored. In this episode, the X is the experience of embodying a global icon of love while cultivating a personal philosophy rooted in presence, healing, and energetic awareness.Questions to exploreWhat does it mean to embody love in a public role? How does performance shape identity? Can energy be felt through intention alone? What responsibility comes with influencing children at scale?Who are we beyond the roles the world remembers us for?About the guestDavid Joyner is an actor and certified tantric practitioner best known for physically portraying Barney the Dinosaur on Barney & Friends from 1991 to 2001. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a background in theater, Joyner later transitioned into holistic wellness and tantra education, focusing on energy work, breath, and conscious connection. His unique career bridges children's television history and adult spiritual practice.Connect with David JoynerInstagram @djoyner22

That quiet sense of flatness in a long-term relationship is often labelled as boredom… but what if it's actually a signal of readiness? In this episode of Reignite: Love, Sex & Truth for Conscious Couples, we explore why so many couples feel numb, restless, or disconnected even when love is still present. They unpack how emotional and erotic hunger often gets misinterpreted as boredom, and why mid-life and long-term partnership amplify the call for depth, presence, and truth. This conversation invites couples to slow down before making big decisions… and to listen more closely to what the body and heart are actually asking for. What You'll Hear in This EpisodeWhy boredom is often a sign of emotional numbness or erotic hunger, not a sign that love is goneHow routine, autopilot, and lack of presence quietly drain aliveness from long-term relationshipsWhy midlife makes the longing for depth louder and why this isn't a crisis, but an invitationWhat is the difference between feeling done and feeling numbWhat people are actually craving beneath the restlessness How emotional safety and presence reignite desire more powerfully than novelty or performanceWhy depth, not distraction, is what brings intimacy back online You're not bored because something is wrong. You're bored because something deeper wants to be lived. And when couples are willing to listen…relationships don't end. They evolve. ✨ Save your spot for our upcoming February and April Group Couples Retreat: A sacred, guided experience for five couples ready to reconnect, heal, and reignite. Every woman on Earth has always felt this way. Will my expression always be held? Will I be safe to be all of me? The things we're going through, we're not alone. And it's also nothing new. We've all been coming on the stage of life, doing this dance, having the confusion, having the dramas, and then moving on. We're all really living the same life, different plot lines, but the same hero's journey. Chandresh Bhardwaj is an 8th generation tantric guru from Dharamsala, India, and one of my closest soul family members for the past 9 years. We dive deep into the 10 goddesses of tantra. Kali, who destroys illusions and teaches us nothing is permanent. Matangi, the voice of the voiceless who opens your throat to raw expression. Bagalamukhi, the pattern interrupt when you're stuck in self-sabotage. Chinnamastika, the headless goddess of egolessness. Bhairavi, the unapologetic sexual energy. Kamakhya, the yoni goddess who honors the source of all creation. Lalita Tripurasundari, the goddess of beauty and abundance. This conversation will show you which goddess you're embodying right now and how to call in the others when you need them. You can't get Lalita if you can't handle Kali. What if awakening wasn't something you reached for, but something you softened into? In this episode of Why Isn't Everyone Doing This?, Emily sits down with Ma Ananda Sarita, a world-renowned Tantra master, for a quiet, deeply embodied conversation about devotion, presence, and awakening with and as the body. Rather than approaching Tantra as philosophy, technique, or sexuality, Sarita shares it as a lived path of devotion to life itself. A way of being in relationship with breath, sensation, emotion, eros, grief, and the simple truth of what is present. Awakening, she reflects, is not about transcendence or ascent, but about arriving fully into this moment. Together, Emily and Sarita explore what it means to slow down enough to actually feel, to allow life to move you rather than trying to control or optimize your experience, and to trust the body as a source of intelligence and love. They speak about tenderness, surrender, and the feminine way of awakening that unfolds through receptivity, listening, and intimacy with what is real. This episode is an invitation to soften your grip, deepen your presence, and remember that the sacred is not elsewhere. It is already here, waiting to be met. Listening to the wisdom of the body and healing thyself is the ultimate flex. Not your peptide and supplement stack. In an era of every biohacker selling their supplements and peptide stack, every integrative and regular physician flogging their HRT and TRT, I'm not even remotely interested in their offerings. What's always fascinated me, is the idea that I can source this healing power from within.Taking a pill or a drug? Not a flex, in my world. It's the opposite—dependency and a cop-out.The sales pitch that you need a medication, supplement or machine in order to feel good, forever and ever—and you can't ever be without it?This is the ultimate snake oil.I'm inspired by the notion that we have the power to heal ourselves.Everyone can.THIS is the true flex in my world and in Anami Land: Connecting with our own bodies and highest wisdom as the oracle. In this talk, we ask the question "which deity should I worship?" & "does it even matter?" going off last week's reflection on how Tantra works and our conjectures about Swami Brahmananda's Ishta (chosen deity). Naturally, we end up discussing some of the nuances and complexities around the central claim of our lineage: "all religions are true" which for Tāntrikas shopping for an Ishta, comes across as "all deities are different forms of the One Absolute Reality" pointing to the tension between the broadness invited by this view versus the focus (ishta-nishta) & depth that is typically insisted upon in our view particularly with regards to choosing one path/deity and sticking to it! Mainly though, we talk about faith & renunciation, "īśvara-anurāg-vishāya-virāg" the most essential things in spiritual life. This was quite an inspiring and meaningful talk for me. Midlife often gets labelled as a crisis… but for many couples, it's actually an awakening. It's the moment when old roles, surface-level connections, and autopilot living stop working, and something deeper starts asking for attention. In this episode of Reignite: Love, Sex & Truth for Conscious Couples, we explore why midlife is often when real intimacy finally becomes possible. Not because everything feels easy… but because pretending, performing, and avoiding truth no longer satisfies. They speak to the restlessness, desire for more, and emotional honesty that arise in this season and how couples can either grow apart or consciously meet each other in a deeper, more alive way. This conversation reframes mid-life not as a breakdown… but as the beginning of a more truthful, connected relationship. What You'll Hear in This EpisodeWhy midlife isn't a crisis, but a wake-up call that something deeper wants to be livedHow many couples realize they've outgrown the version of love they were taughtWhy surface-level intimacy and habitual connection stop nourishing us in mid-lifeHow desire and sexuality often deepen with age, when truth and emotional safety come onlineWhy midlife brings buried wounds, unmet needs, and unspoken desires to the surfaceHow resistance shows up when growth is near and why resistance isn't failureWhy midlife love is no longer about habit, but about conscious choice and daily recommitment Midlife isn't asking you to blow everything up.It's inviting you to stop living on autopilot… and start choosing each other with honesty, presence, and depth. That's often where the relationship actually begins. ✨ Save your spot for our upcoming February and April Group Couples Retreat: A sacred, guided experience for five couples ready to reconnect, heal, and reignite. In this powerful conversation, I connect with my friend Rasmus, a man who has walked the path from high-performance business leadership to deep emotional and spiritual awakening. From his beginnings as an elite athlete and fitness entrepreneur to his evolution into a father and men's mentor, we explore what it truly means to lead from the inside out. Rooted in the theme of Men's Development & Conscious Leadership, this dialogue is heart-centered, deeply personal, and grounded in practices that cultivate presence, vulnerability, and real power.Rasmus shares how divorce became his greatest teacher—opening him to grief, humility, and radical self-honesty—and how those lessons now inform his men's work. We talk about breaking cycles of pain and overachievement, the difference between performance and embodiment, and why turning inward often reveals more strength than chasing external success. We also explore conscious parenting, the courage it takes to re-pattern family dynamics, and how healthy sexuality emerges when men face their wounds with compassion and accountability.Throughout the episode, we offer practical pathways: slowing down to listen to the body, tending to the nervous system, practicing clean communication, honoring boundaries with love, and redefining success through integrity and connection. If you're seeking balance, presence, or a more grounded way to lead—in your work, relationships, or fatherhood—this conversation invites you to meet yourself more fully and lead with an open heart. My vagina does amaaaaaazing things. Sometimes people see me doing phantasmagorical things like: Dead hangs ab exercises, whilst also lifting 11lb. With my vagina Lifting pieces green coconuts, bunches of mangos and Venetian chandeliers. With my vagina. Of course, we want women to realize that the BASELINE is not peeing their pants and vaginas falling onto the floor—yes, vaginal “prolapse” effects 50% of women after childbirth—but that the BASELINE for ALL vaginas, everywhere is to:Shoot ping pong ballsGive hand jobsMake a man orgasm or stop him from orgasming with their flexing power aloneHave ravenous libidosLubricate and ejaculate profusely And be multi-orgasmic If your vagina isn't doing these things, it's under-performing. Beyond the physical, there is also an energetic function to the vagina related to: Femininity Creativity and manifesting abilityHer self-expression in the world How deeply she surrenders to life, her partner and God In today's episode, we're talking to Well-F**ked All Star Dr. Beth. Since we are in the lineage of Sri Ramakrishna and since you will be interacting with his life and teachings quite a bit in our community, it's important at this point to say that no one interpretation of Sri Ramakrishna and of his lineage can ever be absolute or definitive.A lot of what you will hear us say about Sri Ramakrishna might be markedly different from what some other places that represent Sri Ramakrishna are saying and that's just fine and as it should be to show the many colors of the infinitely rich and illimitable Reality called God! But if we don't point out now how our take on Thakur (which is what we lovingly and affectionately call Sri Ramakrishna) differs from others', you're likely going to feel a little confused when you visit some of the other lineage holders and centers associated to him, which I always encourage you to do to get a more well-rounded take! Here is a series of talks on a few central themes worth revisiting from time to time to marinate your mind in the View (darśana) and orient yourself to the tradition (sampradāya), lineage (paramparā) and practice (sādhanā). They are presented here in an order that made sense to me, but you can watch whichever talks whenever and it whatever order, as you like! Just click the links to be redirected to the talk: i. What is Śākta Tantra?ii.How To Be Blissful & In Love | My Reading on Ramakrishnaiii.Śrī Rāmakrishna & The Whole Spectrum of Tantraiv. The Best Tāntrik Philosophy | & How Pūjā Worksv. And now here is this talk walking us through how to dive in and get started! You'll find all of these in order + a bunch of other resources in our How To Practice Tantra playlist here. What does Tantra really look like in practice? Whether its "right" hand path Tantra or the so-called "left" hand path, Tantra is essentially a form of Deity Yoga, that is, an ongoing practice of cultivating a deep, personal, devotional relationship to a Deity. Importantly, the "deity" is a particular reading on the one, Absolute Reality. We call the deity an Ishta, the "Chosen Ideal." Since we are all of us unique, the way we are each of us going to understand the Absolute Reality, the way we will come to It and the way we will express It is necessarily going to be different & unique to us and our qualities, competency & proclivity. As such, while Tantra is essentially deity yoga, it is also a tradition that maximally offers innumerable deities, paths, lineages, rituals & practices so that no one is excluded and that everyone, whatever they're individual spiritual tastes may be, can find a practice (i.e choose an ishta, a deity) that most resonates with them, most inspires them and is most able to spiritually nourish them! We discuss how the Vijñāna-Bhairava Tantra and the various sahasranāma stotrams make a case for the illimitable and infinitely, maximally variegated nature of Reality, which the Tāntrik tradition tries to reflect by offering diverse deities, paths, lineages, rituals & practices all along the spectrum from "right" (orthodox) to "left" (transgressive). Mainly, we contemplate how Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda & Swami Brahmananda reflect the above ideals in their lives and teachings as part of our Swami Brahmananda Jayanti celebration! What can emerging technologies reveal about the nature of mind, consciousness, and awakening—and where do their limits lie?In this forward-looking conversation, Hareesh is joined by neuroscientist Dr. Ruben Laukkonen to explore the meeting points of classical Tantra, neuroscience, and artificial general intelligence. Drawing on both scientific models and contemplative insight, they reflect on how perception is constructed, how awareness recognizes itself, and what developments in AI can—and cannot—tell us about consciousness. The dialogue also touches on the “alignment problem”: how increasingly powerful intelligences might be guided toward care and human flourishing, rather than harm. Rather than offering definitive answers, the conversation opens a space for careful inquiry, humility, and wonder, inviting listeners to consider how ancient wisdom and modern science might inform one another without reductionism or hype.Discover a treasure trove of guided meditations, teachings, and courses at tantrailluminated.org.Find out more about the upcoming retreats and pilgrimages at https://www.tantrailluminated.org/calendar.Find more about Ruben at https://rubenlaukkonen.com/. Today we're joined by Casaundra Hope, a certified sexologist, tantra practitioner, and professional Dominatrix. With over 2 decades of experience, she helps individuals and couples reconnect to their erotic power, deepen intimacy, and dissolve shame through Tantra and BDSM. In this episode, we explore kink beyond the stereotypes — as a language of safety, devotion, polarity, and play. If you've ever felt the spark dim, swallowed a desire you didn't know how to name, or sensed that intimacy could be more alive than what you've been taught... this conversation is for you. Share this with your partner! ❤️
Every January, couples feel the pressure to do better… communicate better… fight less… have more sex… be more intentional. But most New Year resolutions don't fail because couples don't care — they fail because they're built on pressure instead of capacity. In this episode of Reignite: Love, Sex & Truth for Conscious Couples, we unpack why real relationship change doesn't come from trying harder and what actually creates a lasting reset. This conversation invites couples to move beneath behaviour, habits, and willpower… and into nervous system awareness, embodied truth, and sustainable connection. What You'll Hear in This EpisodeWhy most New Year resolutions are rooted in shame, judgment, and pressure, and why they collapse so quicklyHow ignoring the nervous system sabotages behaviour change, even when intentions are sincereWhy real transformation begins below the surface, not at the level of habits or communication scriptsThe difference between trying harder and building capacity, and why capacity is what relationships actually needHow tantra supports embodied presence instead of self-improvement and why this creates lasting intimacyWhy does one person choosing to go deeper often create safety for the other to follow You don't need a new version of yourself this year. You need more capacity to stay present, regulated, and connected when life gets real. That's the reset relationships actually need. ✨ Save your spot for our upcoming February and April Group Couples Retreat: A sacred, guided experience for five couples ready to reconnect, heal, and reignite.
