I started doing my show Elite Muzik Radio in 2019, my friend Justin Goodwin linked me up with Wize Grazette from The Indie Creative Network, and it was official. I didn't know what the hell I was doing lol. I listened to a lot of opinions about what I should be doing rather than taking time to figure it out myself. I started off by reaching out to a lot of artists in the city, but most of them never responded. Around that time, I was still doing my blog and ended up meeting artists and producers from all over the world. My music taste started growing even more, and the style of the show changed too. I stopped caring about reaching out to people and more about creating content with what I was given. I wasn't a talk show guy either; you're a DJ; just shut up and play music. That's what I started doing, and things changed. Fast-forwarding to now, and I've grown a fan base overseas that actually listens to this shit. I'm not playing myself, but it's a super humbling experience to see that people actually like what I'm doing. When I first started, I was just creating playlists of music I wanted to hear. I never catered to anyone as far as music selection on the show, but somehow people still listened. It's dope as hell to see people in Russia
Having immigrant parents, getting a good education was over emphasized in our household. Lucky for me, I was down for traditional schooling, having gone to a four year college then grad school. But after seeing “battle royale" play out between the Biden-Harris administration and Congress over student loan debt cancellation AND realizing how much I owe, I chatted with my co-producer, Wize Grazette of The Indie Creative Network, about the worth of getting a degree versus real life field experience. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/blacknuancedpod/support

This week is a special release and celebration of my podcast releasing 50 episodes. I wanted to lighten but spice things up while trying to understand the allure of OnlyFans before it became associated with Demon Time (#IYKYK) and adult entertainment. OnlyFans is a subscription based website for creators to privately share their content for a fee. Patreon does the same thing. I'm on Patreon but my guest Wize Grazette, founder of the Indie Creative Network, took his content to OnlyFans, "tik tok when I dance." He and I had an interesting conversation dissecting the difference between the two since he's used both, whether the stigma of OnlyFans hurts or helps his business, him being in a three year polyamorous relationship (felt like this became Insecure's show within a show), and the difference in having boundaries versus rules in relationships. I also have new video content on the way that will drop on Patreon first so subscribe at the link below. SHOW NOTES You can find Wize Grazette on Twitter and Instagram. Love Period Season 2 Episode 4 Yoni Detox Website: Perksofwellness.org tinyurl.com/loveperiodproject Instagram:Perkysexycool & PerkyPerspectives Twitter: Toni_tonytone Facebook.com/PerkyPerspectives and /theloveperiodproject Email:perkyperspectivespod@gmail.com Have you ever wondered how you could cure your PH issues from home? Hey this is Perky of Perky Perspectives. Hope everyone has been enjoying this Love Period journey with me. I would like to ask you to support my Patreon campaign at patreon.com/perkyperspectives. With you support I hope to become more mobile with my podcast and eventually hold events and be able to start providing more period products to young girls and women. And support women creating more products and opportunities for women (Period). I will be ending the first season soon, but I have behind the scenes video, photos, and live streams on my patreon page. Patreon.com/perkyperspectives and Follow me Website: Perksofwellness.org Instagram:Perkysexycool & PerkyPerspectives Twitter: Toni_tonytone Facebook.com/PerkyPerspectives and /theloveperiodproject Email:perkyperspectivespod@gmail.com Today's Topic: Yoni Detox! There are different ways to detox your vagina which can include yoni pearls and yoni steams. Love Period LLC is working to provide both products as well as underwear, and more. Love Period LLC also is working with the Be Prepared Period organization that assists with making period products available to people, and those in need. Check out our page (which will be updating throughout the upcoming weeks), tinyurl.com/loveperiodproject Perky's experience with the yoni pearls was quite interesting. It was a 3 day cleanse, where you insert them into the vagina near the cervix and let them work. Then on day 3 pull them out and watch what comes out. Tips: Eat healthy during this time and drink plenty of water. Have panty liners and a tampon(for insertion if it is not provided), and be prepared for some uncomfortability when it is removed. Perky purchased them to detox but also to help naturally cure a yeast infection issue and BV issue. So far the BV has left and the yeast infection is almost gone. Perky will do another detox, and then continue to do one a month in combination with yoni steams. To Keep Up with the Conversation Use #Perkyspod. Also like, comment, rate, and share the podcast. And reach out with personal stories, thoughts, or questions. I would also like to uplift Indie Creative Network a for all of the opportunities they're providing all over the world. Nika , Hali , Cidnee And Candy Raine recap their weekend and talk award shows . The Grammys just aired and it was BLACK. A lot of people took home awards including the Carter’s, Anderson pak, Cardi B and HER . The ladies discuss how many people talked down on the Grammys but at the same time a lot of us received awards . so that brought up the question of what do we really want . POSE a drama centered around the lgbtq ballroom scene was a breakout series in 2018 but were left out of the Oscars - the group encourages our listeners to support shows and music from diverse audience Our Gurl moment centered around Monique and Steve Harvey’s heated conversation. The group thought Harvey’s tone and suggestion were very uncle Tomish. That brought up a good point , should black people handle each other differently in public than in private Candy brought up a good point that TI calls out Floyd Mayweather publicly about his support of the Gucci brand . A few called his gesture corny but sometimes it is important for us to chastise each other when we are wrong and hold one another accountable The carefreeblackgirls come to the realization that Fake outrage is the biggest PR scam right now . We have to stop reacting . Our Get Free segment centered around black love . Back in The day we used to have all types of shows that show black love , nowadays we have love and hip-hop. The group talks the effects of this on dating . Hali our generation Z representatives informs us that monogamy is a thing her age group is moving away from. Cidnee brought up interracial relationships and how people deem that as negative. We talk the soundtrack to our current love life . What’s yours ? hit us up on twitter and let us know - https://twitter.com/cfbgpodOn a serious note - the topic was immigration and the importance of understanding what is going on . 21 savage was targeted and arrested which brought lots of awareness to the ICE and their ill treatment of immigrants .Girls to watch 2 broke Queens -https://www.wnycstudios.org/story/2-dope-queens-podcast-karaoke-michelle-obamaThe Indie Creative Network will be an official sponsor for the 2019 #CarefreeBlackGirl SXSW stage! Queen & J. are two womanist race nerds talking liberation, politics, and pop-culture over tea. Drink up! On this episode… Are you Black enough, are you dark enough and is that the same thing? White passing in Hollywood and who gets to claim Black or brown and does white supremacy have anything to do with it. Queen & J. are two womanist race nerds talking liberation, politics, and pop-culture over tea. Drink up! On this episode… Are Black British actors “taking” Black American roles or is white supremacy just doing what it do? Black trans women are being killed left and right and the media is acting like it’s their fault. And we knew Janet Jackson was blacklisted but do you know the white man’s name who did it? It’s never a conspiracy, always a whole ass white man fvcking with whole ass Black people. This week’s hot list: J. isn’t using her feelings journal for her mental health, but you should. Listen to Marsha’s Plate podcast and stop being corny. Queen is queer ya’ll. Trans women are desired, loved, and not studying your crusty, stankin ass. Queen & J. are two womanist race nerds talking liberation, politics, and pop-culture over tea. Drink up! On this spot of tea episode… The greatest athlete of all time makes us wonder if being a Black woman at work sucks for all of us or just most of us, Elvin stopped us from job shaming so we’ve moved on to goal shaming, and Insecure got interesting again, but then it got weird and possibly sizeist. Why it always gotta be Kelli? This week’s hot list: Mac Miller avoided peak white rapper-hood, J.’s having a rough mental health week, Serena Williams is all of us at work as Naomi Osaka gets exoticized for being Japanese while being a whole Black woman, that #geoffreyowenschallenge got weird and classist, and is Kelli on Insecure supposed to be big fat joke on Insecure or nah? Queen & J. are two womanist race nerds talking liberation, politics, and pop-culture over tea. Drink up! On this episode… Does white supremacist patriarchal capitalism make you feel good about yourself? Do you affirm your existence by comparing yourself to others? Are you a dumb bitch? Find out on the next Dragon Ball Z. This week’s hot list: We’re gonna say Calvin repeatedly, but we promise we mean Elvin. Bronx nail prices are self-care, Maxine Waters is Wakandan, we’re not for the diasporadical wars but don’t try it, passport protocol, the white woman wellness racket and don’t let white men tell you what you can’t do (they don’t be knowing). Are you participating in hate speech against whole entire groups of your own people via classism and the other isms or are you just a hater or both? Let ghetto girls and all the girls live.
