Barely 12 months on from the release of debut album "When Will We Land?", it's fair to say Josh Mannie is one of the most in-demand artists working in dance and electronic music right now, with a follow-up LP nearly done, he says. Die Single Malt dürfte für 24 Monate eine Nachreifung in ehemaligen Côte-Rôtie Fässern bevor er mit 45% Vol. abgefüllt würde. Zudem verkosten wir einen Bretonischen Whisky aus der Naguelann Distillerie. Der Dieil reifte in first-fill, ex-Bordeaux und ex-Islay Fässern und kam mit 49% vol. in die Flasche. Es gibt natürlich auch Musik und am Ende der Folge ein Leckerchen, das Sascha aka. Friendly Mr. Z ausgesucht hat. Scottish DJ and producer Nick Moore is Linkwood, someone who applies a master craftsmen and hugely artistic approach to everything he does. Because of this, he has a reputation for fantastically deep house that is magically ornamental, resplendent with atmospheric ambiance and littered with moving melody. He releases on local label Firecracker and its sub label Shevnchenko, and most recently offered up the tripled vinyl delights of his second album, Expressions. Now he is taking up the mantel on our podcast series and serves up just over an hour of sumptuous sound. Despite being a relatively short set, the Scot manages to cram a lot in, from dub techno to intergalactic deep house via spaced out jams and intricately melodic tech. Importantly, every record he reaches for bares all the hallmarks of that emotive Linkwood sound we all know and love, so stick it on and allow yourself to get lost at the hands of a real master.
