ALIVE has been revived - Welcome to Season 2 of the podcast!!! After much introspection + and an inner calling to take a step back from the show last September 2024 (the 4 Year Anniversary celebration episode #133), I have had many divine downloads + fresh perspectives that I'm excited to unleash here JUST FOR YOU! It also felt divinely timed to release in May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month + my birth month! (May 12th) Opening Season 2 is a divinely inspired conversation with Sarah Lynne Mosser, Reiki Master, Quantum Healer, and Energy Intuitive, also known as @sincerelyspiritual on Instagram. As the title alludes, we deep dive into what it means to be a soul having a human experience, and how to navigate this Age of Aquarius, or Golden Age consciousness for those who are feeling the frequencies and calling to RISE into this new reality we are all experiencing as a collective. Sarah and I also explore the concepts of seeking validation, and why society puts people on pedestals which is evolving more into the energies of "only the authentic + real will survive", as Sarah says, and the downfall of the Hollywood/guru mentality! Also deeply intriguing in the spirit of inner child therapy is the concept of "Crystal Children" and what it means to Live in Your Dharma, or your destined soul's calling. About Sarah Lynne Mosser: I'm a Reiki Master, living in Austin, TX. I'm originally from California, I have a degree in Psychology and a 5 year old son who is a crystal child. I had my true spiritual awakening 10 years ago. A lifelong empath, who is now fully understanding and stepping into my intuitive gifts. I'm a constant seeker and lover of astrology, numerology, oracle cards, and everything multidimensional. I also read auras and work with clients on energy and spiritual healing. Opening Season 18, renowned gerontologist, educator, and coach Barbara Waxman shares her “genesis story” of what called her to working in eldercare, shifting perspectives around ageism, and embracing a longevity mindset. About Barbara Barbara Waxman, the founder of The Odyssey Group, is a highly sought-after longevity and leadership advisor, coach, speaker and author. Barbara translates cutting edge research and collective wisdom in ways that enable others to understand how the dynamics of our aging world impact individuals, communities, companies, and the planet. Barbara's leadership as a gerontologist in the coaching field has culminated in the transformative coaching model Entrepreneurship Turned Inward™️ (ETI), the evidence based Seven Lifestyle Levers Assessment™️ and the Longevity Roadmap™️. Barbara is an Advisor to the Stanford Center on Longevity, Stanford Lifestyle Medicine and is a faculty member at Chip Conley's Modern Elder Academy. Key Takeaways Longevity is aging's aspiration partner. Rather than “aging,” which refers to the biological maturation of our cells, “longevity” encapsulates the spirit of living healthy, joyful, and robust lives. Even if we aren't fans of aging, we can be fans of longevity. Our expectations of aging are changing in real time. What used to be considered “old” is not anymore. Consider how your own trajectory and experiences has shifted your belief on what is “old.” Consider the term “preferment” versus “retirement”. We can reach a stage where we do not want to be anchored by a paycheck or other responsibilities, so we get to create a constellation of activities in the ways we prefer to do them. Don't confuse an easy life with a happy life. Full lives are not devoid of challenge, exhaustion, or pain. You can create happiness amid struggles through a positive mindset.

Opening Season 3 of The Meaningful Media Podcast, host Ben Downing sits down with Alex Hase, General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer at software-as-a-service solution provider Mirakl and Molly Hop, EVP Market, Havas Media Network to explore how businesses can deliver digital growth by getting the media experience right from all perspectives of ecommerce. Key themes in this meaningful conversation:The evolution of Retail Media“Retail media is not a new concept. Digital retail media is blossoming significantly but it's really about trying to engage consumers in that path to purchase so you can influence and/or expose them to things they might not otherwise have been exposed to. Whether brand or retailer you are either trying to complement the path to purchase the consumer is already on or you're trying to identify something that you think they might benefit from,” explains Alex Hase.Marketplaces & Opportunities for GrowthCustomers want to buy everything, anywhere, and have it delivered quickly. To do that retailers need to address that need. “For retailers, they are addressing this new world and how to combine it with in store experience, so they don't cannibalise their retail experience. For brands, they are asking how they can directly interact with their consumers and help them understand the full portfolio of goods available to them,” says Alex Hase. Marketplaces enable sellers to sell their products on a retailer's ecommerce site. Another opportunity is 'drop ship' where a retailer brings a brand on board to carry out the fulfilment of a specific product.Role of Agency for Brands Amazon has proven to retailers there's an opportunity to monetize your platform, and your first party data, ushering in a new business model which has driven retailers to expand how they bring in revenue. Support for brands to ensure they are getting the best value on this critical path is essential and a key role for agencies. Our guests discuss the value of first party data as a data targeting opportunity and a layer for consideration in the media experience. On Brands and Media investmentConsumers' ability to purchase and shop everywhere is changing the discussion around media plans for brands.“Retail media is a brand experience and in and of itself helps to build brands,” underlines host Ben Downing.New Ways to AdvertiseThe conversation turned to seismic shifts, like shoppable ads in connected TVs, carving out new ways to monetize media. Molly Hop shares: “Shopper marketing and in-store bricks and mortar are one of the first ways people were advertised to. Now we've had the shift and are able to reach anybody anywhere.” Social Commerce in ‘test and learn' phaseSocial commerce means expanding into a complex context but one which holds great opportunity. Molly cautions that understanding what consumers want in this context is crucial: “Social Commerce is a ‘big hairy beast' that we're all trying to navigate. There are a lot of wins, for example with TikTok, with advertisers being really smart about building a shopping experience that's organic to the environment it's in." Enjoy!

#Lakers Opening Season With Current #Roster | Lakers #TrainingCamp Plans The Los Angeles Lakers reportedly began their players-led minicamp on Friday in San Diego. Every player except Dennis Schroder reportedly is at the minicamp ahead of the official start of the team's training camp on Monday. Schroder is not in attendance as he is organizing his family's move back to Los Angeles after a season away from the team where he played for the Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets. Lakers already getting together to prepare for the 2022-23 regular season, especially after all of the struggles last season. The Lakers failed to make the playoffs in the 2021-22 campaign, but they have a bunch of new faces in the building for the 2022-23 season. Los Angeles really improved its guard depth by trading for Patrick Beverley and signing Schroder and Lonnie Walker IV in free agency. Los Angeles is also hoping to have Kendrick Nunn in the lineup this season after he missed the entire 2021-22 season with a bone bruise in his knee. Russell Westbrook is also on the roster. If he remains in Los Angeles, it will be crucial for him to bond with his new teammates as his role may change for the team in the 2022-23 season. Lakers head coach Darvin Ham will have his work cut out for him fitting all of these players into the rotation. The guard position wasn't the only area where the Lakers made moves, as they also signed forward Juan Toscano-Anderson and big man Thomas Bryant. Both players figure to factor into the rotation in some way, and Bryant should give Los Angeles a solid shot-blocking presence alongside Anthony Davis in the frontcourt. At the end of the day, the Lakers' success in the 2022-23 season is going to come down to the play and health of Davis and LeBron James. Last season, both players were banged up for a significant period of time, and it hurt the Lakers' chances at staying afloat in the Western Conference playoff race. Hopefully, with a new supporting cast and a long offseason off, James and Davis can recapture the magic they had in the 2019-20 season when Los Angeles last won the NBA Finals. So Z Nation, what's your Lakers starting 5 and your expectations heading into training camp??? Comments down below

Welcome to a new season of the Backstop Podcast. Major League baseball has begun opening day on April 7 but for the Red Sox and Yankees, they will wait until Friday, April 8th because of rain. The Red Sox were supposed to open at home against the Tampa Bay Rays. However, due to the MLB lockout, the season was pushed a week later. So here we are waiting for the games to begin, an actual rivalry game between the Yankees and Red Sox. In their last meeting, the Red Sox eliminated the Yankees in the Wild Card game. Then, the Red Sox took care of business against the Rays in the ALDS before falling to the American League Champions, the Houston Astros. This season, there are still so many questions on how the Red Sox will survive the season. Just like last year, the Red Sox were predicted to finish fourth in the American League East. This season, the Red Sox are projected to finish tied in third in the standings with the yankees and sneak their way into the playoffs. But, there are so many factors that may be an issue in the AL East. I will talk briefly about that and the outlook of Red Sox baseball. The big issue in MLB games will be the teams that play against the Toronto Blue Jays. Because of Canada's vaccination requirements, any player who is not vaccinated cannot enter the country. The NBA is dealing with these circumstances as they ramp up for the playoffs. In MLB, everyone will find out if the players are vaccinated or not when the team travels to Canada. In the AL East, that will be a concern because of the high competition. The division is the best of MLB. Last year, the Rays, Yankees, Red Sox, and Blue Jays won over 90 games. The Rays won 100 regular season games. Not having a full roster to enter Canada can be a huge difference maker until Canada's law changes. And in fact, it does not look like it will change anytime soon. My prediction on the AL East for 2022 areBlue jays in first placeRed Sox secondYankees thirdRays fourthOrioles fifthThe Blue Jays have red hot Vladimir Guierrero, Jr who batted a .311 48 HRs with 111 RBIs. Bo Bichette and the healthy George Springer can get the offense on track. Starting pitcher Kevin Gausman, who is coming from the San Francisco Giants, had an awesome season with 14 wins and 6 losses with a 2.81 ERA. Jordan Romano is the closer who saved 23 out of 24 games. For the Red Sox, there are a lot of questions that need to be answered, similar to last season. You can expect both All Stars Raffael Devers and Xander Bogaerts to have a phenomenal season. Both may be playing their last season with the Red Sox. Both declined an extension and can have their eyes on Free Agency. Trevor Story is a new addition to the Red Sox this season. He played six seasons with the Colorado Rockies. He averaged .272 His best season was in 2018 when he hit 37 HRs with 108 RBIs. However, he does strike out often. In each full season, he has struck out over 100 times. Jackie Bradley JR is back. After one season with the Milwaukee Brewers, Bradley returns to play RF. His defense was missed and could have been a difference maker if he would have been involved in the ALCS against the Houston Astros. The downfall is that Bradley cannot hit very well. He has a career batting average of .230. JD Martinez, Kike Hernandez, and Alex Verdugo will spark up the offense. Christian Vasquez is dependable in clutch hitting and controlling the pitchers. And Bobby Dalbec, what type of player will he be this season? Can he reduce the amount of Strikeouts and pound the ball like he did in the 2020 season? He will be sharing time at first base this season. In pitching, starting pitchers Nathan Eovaldi, Nick Pivetta, Tanner Houck return. Michael Wacha and Rich Hill are the newcomers from the New York Mets. It is a far stretch as to what caliber type pitchers they will become in this rotation. We just hope Chris Sale can return healthy as he is projected to return in June. There is no closer for the Red Sox. One can only assume Matt Barnes will start to close. He had a strong first half season in 2021 but after he signed a new contract with the team, he went downhill. Garrett Whitlock took the reign. Can the Red Sox surprise the league in 2022. Anything is possible with Alex Cora. Cora will be managing the Red Sox for his fourth season. He has always had a winning season. In 2018, his first season, he managed the team to win their fourth World Series of the millennium. Last season, the team lost in the ALCS against the Houston Astros. The team finished with 92 wins, 70 losses, 20 games over what was projected. Expect more surprises in 2022. Thank you for listening to the backstop Podcast. Follow me on Facebook and Subscribe to the YouTube channel. You can also follow me on Twitter at ovi_hhwshow. Enjoy the season everyone. Let's Play ball.
