What is the prima materia? “In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.” We live in strange times, where mythology is actually history, where instead of teaching history, we obfuscate it, history is written by the victors as they say. If it can be destroyed by the truth, it deserves to be destroyed. Join me around the digital campfire as we explore the cosmos, and uncover hidden gnosis. In this episode we round out our Return to Edinger series and his book Ego and Archetype with a discussion of blood and alchemy. We talk about blood as a symbol for life and the carrier of consciousness. We explore the connections to religious sacrifice, the cult of Dionysus and, of course, the blood of Christ. From here we pivot to the mysteries of Alchemy, the Philosophers' Stone and the Prima Materia and relate each to the process of individuation; the union of God and Man. Enjoy :)

Aqui aparece outro símbolo, a água, essência purificadora. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/malhete-podcast/message

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………. This week we feature Oakland Winemaker Pietro Buttitta of Prima Materia Vineyard & Winery defining the term “Lift”.
Its not unusual to find small production wineries will often grow less common grapes. Thats one of many reasons wine lovers seek these winemakers. One of those winemakers is Pietro Buttitta, proprietor of Prima Materia Vineyard & Winery in Oakland, with Vineyards located in Lake County. Pietro chatted with me by phone a week ago [...]
Everything you need to know about Barbera! This group Zoom discussion was put on by sommelier and wine educator Paul Robinson of Bottivino, and Pietro Buttitta, owner/winemaker of Prima Materia Winery. We take a 2-hour deep dive into the history of Barbera in Piemonte and Monferrato, its history here in California, vineyard practices, winemaking techniques and challenges, and then a discussion on food pairing and descriptors, plus many diversions along the way. Prima Materia is concurrently releasing its 2018 vintage of Barbera today (the 2017 was tasted in this class), and the Italian wines discussed can be purchased from Bottivino. A raw, unprepared, unfiltered conversation about experiences that create newness of being, every day of our life. "Dot Dot Dot" In the presence of mystery, we experience authenticity. Living in the present moment can transfer us to another place. This is not necessarily distraction, it is letting the flow explore us (or us explore the flow). Woody Allen once said: “if you want to make God laugh, tell him about your future plans...” It can be scary to live from this place, so we pretend that we can control and plan our lives. In these unprecedented times, we are invited to live from soul. Art, music, journaling, nature, poems, dreams – the language of soul. If we could start the day attending to soul (instead of watching news or social media) we'll find connection with eternity. *. *. *. *. World-leading alchemist Avery Hopkins joins me on today’s show to discuss all things alchemy, from its inception and cultural development, to the practice of alchemy today. Avery and I talk about the nature of consciousness and how alchemy cannot be extricated from it, as well as the notion of channelling information from the cosmic mind. I also get a little bit overexcited talking about truth, paradox and spirals in T.S. Eliot’s Four Quartets, and we see how even this pertains to alchemy. This episode is guaranteed to stimulate the intellect – definitely one for those who wish to expand their mind. And what’s really cool is that this isn’t just about the theory of alchemy – it’s about the PRACTICE of it: Avery has a laboratory where he extracts oils from metals, among other things, and he has a range of products that have proven to assist profound transformation in people, and provide them with enormous benefits. I tried the oil of copper myself when I met up with Avery in New York, and it was pretty spectacular. Show notes: - We deconstruct the meaning of alchemy - What is consciousness? - Soul as actuating cause - Soul/Spirit/Body 5.30- Prima Materia and Alchemical symbols- Alchemy as Internal metaphor or external practice - Understanding vs knowledge - Apprehending the Divine - The history of alchemy’s cultural emergence - The ancient Egyptians and alchemy - Alchemy and the Renaissance - The origin of the Hermetica - Channelling from the cosmic mind - Paradox and truth - Ts Eliot’s four quartets, paradox and spirals- Poet as medium - Alchemy as the origin of everything - The practical processes of alchemy in the laboratory - The role of gold in alchemy - how oil of gold can heal us - Avery’s work with metals- Their connection to our endocrine system and chakra system- Sacred alchemical numbers - Transmuting negative thoughts - You are eternal - you are not your thoughts - you are not your ancestry - The relationship between intuition, cognitive processing and time - What the sacred means to Avery ................Please see www.kymiaarts.comfor more details – Instagram @kymiaartsSee the podcast Facebook page for links to further reading – https://www.facebook.com/sacredwisdompodcast www.arabellathais.com@arabella_thais (Instagram)
Although this episode was technically focused on the topic of Southern Italian rosé, it managed to become more expansive, discussing some French rosé history, breaking down the technical aspects of saignée versus direct press or vin gris, and the general wide world of rosé and Rosato possibilities. We tasted an early-harvest Aglianico rosé from southern Campania (acid laser to the face,) a more fruit-driven Puglian Primitivo rosé, and our (Prima Materia's) third Rosato made of Barbera and Aglianico. www.prima-materia.com
This was a fun discussion with Deborah Parker Wong, editor of the U.S. Slow Wine Guide. We discuss Lake County, a bit of Alchemy, soils, and take a dive into our Sagrantino, Refosco, and Negro Amaro.
This is a deep dive into all things Barbera wine with Paul Robinson of Bottivino and Pietro Buttitta of Prima Materia. We held a 2-hour online tasting that generated a lot of discussion and questions as people tasted along. Paul handles the sommelier perspective and historical angle in Italy while Pietro discusses the California history, vineyard life with Barbera, and how it acts and ages in the winery. There are many approaches, and Barbera is one Italian grape that can be pretty compelling in California as well! www.prima-materia.com
Jan de Maansnijder is a traditionalist, running a blog of high quality, link below. His works deal with Christian esoteric mysticism and symbolism. As many of you know Jan textually lays waste to all sorts of absurdities inherent in modernity, such as the accelerated movement from the corporeal to digital weeb sub-corporeal of pure quantity and even some lighter subjects like how neanderthals are merely a psyop created by social darwinists to push the great lie of evolution. Greetings. So, in my research about how totally F'd our national economy is and will continue to be, I found a great book by Tracy R Twyman (Money Grows On The Tree Of Knowledge) that explained a whole lot about the origins of money and much of the terminology and symbology we use everyday in our buying and selling of good and services. In this first of two episodes I describe the ancient rituals and mythology behind the alchemical process of money creation and the parallels of the current monetary system and the meaning behind the terms "work", "bonds" and "coins". We also explore the Saturn/Chronos position in the context of the Golden Age and the "fixing" of Mercury in order to bind the youthful energy needed to transmute the gold from the primal chaos, the "Prima Materia".We begin to understand the substitution of time in place of flesh to complete the alchemical process of creating wealth from what seems like nothing.Tune in to learn more.Tracy's book "Money Grows On The Tree Of Knowledge"https://www.amazon.com/Money-Grows-Knowledge-Tracy-Twyman/dp/1460968875 Great Interview BOAA where I got most of the audio:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/binnall-of-america-audio/id279245126?i=1000095327988(((S U P P O R T THE S H O W)))https://paypal.me/frankenbones?locale.x=en_USThis site contains copyrighted material the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. Welcome to the fifth episode of The Freedom Place podcast! This is a platform for distributing interviews with and teachings of American-born sage Traktung Khepa. In this extraordinary interview, t.k. answers my questions about alchemy. I've been wanting to do this interview for some time since discovering t.k.'s accomplishment of the alchemical path. If you've ever wondered, as I have, whether it's possible to evolve beyond the human state, or to know the first matter and how the philosopher's stone is created and its function, you're about to find out. As far as I'm aware, this is the first interview of its kind where these questions are definitively answered. There is much to consider here, but ultimately, once one decides if they believe it is possible, the next consideration is whether to engage the methods of the path in order to prove it for oneself...Feel free to leave comments or questions or send them to info@tsogyelgar.org. For more information, visit TraktungKhepa.com.The intro music is "Devotion" by David Modica and the outro music is "In Your Body" from Just a Tourist's wonderful brand new album entitled "Ruined for Business," now available where you buy music!https://www.traktungkhepa.com/
A Melbourne-based artist couple: Peter Aldrich (painter and drawer) and Natalie Trofimiuk (print and drawer), are alert to the contemporary art exhibitions in town and nation wide. What was the great secret of Thomas Vaughan (Eugenius Philalethes) & his wife Rebecca? This mystery is Levenda's life work - now he drops by to speak of what's extant in his book The Tantric Alchemist, touching issues like: How did Thomas restore Rebecca's secret? Is it preserved within a simple image? Why did he suddenly die? Did Arthur Waite & Kenneth Rexroth discover it? Is Tantra & Alchemy directly related? What's similar in Chinese, Indian, & Western Alchemy? What's the types of Alchemy? What's the Elixir of Life, Philosopher's Stone, Prima Materia, the Green Language, & Divine Language of the Birds? And learn the Great Key to the process... In part 2 we go further into both Opus Magnum & Vaughan, with questions like: Did John Dee, Cornelius Agrippa, & Abbott Trithemius influence Vaughan? Did he fake his own death? How important is transmutation of Gold? Did he discover the Stone? Why did Mary Atwood's father burn her alchemy book? What's the link between Alchemy & Magic? What's the role of sexuality? What is Mercury? What's the role of Ayahuasca & Psilocybin? Is Surrealism alchymical? What's the Dry & Wet Path? ...and we examine Vaughan's coded image. :: :: :: :: All programs are gratis & listener funded. Light is the fundamental building block of reality from which all forms are made of. Imagine it as a limitless energy source that you can use to create whatever you want. Our great work as Alchemists is to use the 3 Archetypes of Light to transform the lead aspects of our consciousness into gold. By consciously working with the Prima Materia of our Being we begin to transform ourselves from a separate self into a unified whole. The more it becomes clear that Light can be shaped into anything we imagine, the more lucid our dream becomes. Discover the fundamental dynamics of Light, and how you can use It to create yourself and your reality more intentionally. indigominute.com
