I am a creative thinker, and maybe a bit on the quirky side. I recognize my creative thoughts don't work on a 9-5 schedule. When the urge to write short stories, poetry or a podcast hits, I simply need to stop and get that creative urge out of the way so I can better focus on projects around me. Most creatives understand this scenario, and it can present challenges when balancing creative moments with responsibility. In this episode I had a wonderful discussion with Lisa Zawrotny, the founder of Positively Productive Systems and the host of the Positively Living Podcast. Together we talk about the challenges of a creative mind, methods to prioritize while allowing the inner artist to blossom. If you are a "creative", you will likely relate to this and if not, it may help bring some understanding to the creatives in your life. *AUDIO EPISODES: https://www.lindysaudiocafe.com*FACEBOOK GROUP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lindysaudiocafepodcast*SUPPORT THE SHOW - Buy Me a Coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/lefhxiyfb COURTESY LINKS:Episode Guest: Lisa Zawrotny, Productivity Strategist & Accountability CoachPositively Productive Systems https://positivelyproductive.com/about-me-2/Support the show

Kevin Daisey, the host of the Managing Partners podcast and founder of Array Digital, welcomed Sarah Tetlow to the show. Sarah is a productivity strategist and consultant and the founder of Firm Focus, which specializes in helping lawyers and legal professionals with time, project, task, attention, and email management. She and Kevin had met at the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) statewide conference. Sarah explained her system ART (A-R-T-T), which helps lawyers and other professionals with email management. She also shared that she had worked in law firms for 15 years before deciding to create Firm Focus to help more lawyers than just the ones she had been working with. They discussed how email can take up too much of our time, and Kevin asked Sarah to share more about her background. Sarah is from the San Francisco Bay Area and is married with two children (ages 8 and 9.5). She is very organized and has a good sense of time management, demonstrated by an anecdote about buying an expandable file and scheduling bills when they were going to study abroad in Russia. They wrote out the checks, sealed them in envelopes, and wrote notes for themselves to do things like water the plants. The speaker was able to plan out their bills for the entire period they were gone. They also have certifications in project management. Kevin and Sarah discussed the importance of organization and planning in business. Sarah shared a personal story of how she has been organized since a young age, when she created a system to organize her mail. She has since used this skill and other organizational techniques to help others create processes, systems, and streamline tasks. Kevin added that staying organized makes life much easier and brings peace and joy. The speaker cautioned against fake coaches and consultants who have never actually done what they teach, and instead only learn things to make YouTube videos. Sarah talks about their offerings under the firm Focus umbrella, which includes speaking, training, presentations, coaching, and team coaching. Under speaking and training, they offer programs like From Frazzle to Focus, Stop Welcoming Distractions, and Learn to Do More by Doing Less. Under coaching, they offer one-on-one private coaching and team coaching, with a three month starter plan. They also offer a 30 minute, no pressure discovery call to anyone who wants to learn more.

The Enneagram 3 is good at making things happen. They see a goal. They set a goal. They crush a goal. But the 3's worth is tied to what they do, how they appear and what they achieve. They don't share their struggles, and when things don't work out the way they planned, it feels like the end of the world. When I met Hannah, the Productivity Strategist behind With Hannah & Co., she was 22 years old and already running a six-figure business while attending university. Listen in to understand the Enneagram's powerful effect on Hannah's bottom line and learn how 3s can honor themselves for who they are, not what they do, and continue to excel in a healthy way. In this episode, I'm talking with Lauren Midgley. After 25 years of working for 2 Fortune 500 companies in sales and marketing, Lauren launched her consulting business in 2010, helping small business owners be more profitable. To reach her audience, she added being a speaker and an author to her marketing efforts. The game-changer for Lauren and her business was in 2014, where she was diagnosed with breast cancer. From that point forward, Lauren shifted her message to live each day fully, be satisfied and get the things done that matter. Her Amazon bestseller, It's 6 am and I'm Already Behind: Strategies to Get Caught Up reinforced that message. In 2019, Lauren decided to do a personal project – sending a handwritten card she designed to those who mattered to her. The card simply said, “You Matter to Me” in calligraphy with a heart. The response back was astounding and deeply touched the recipients. Lauren saw the need that others had to send the same message to their inner circle, so she launched the You Matter to Me greeting card business called Yes You Matter. Lauren has written 2 eBooks on how to stay connected to those who matter and speaks to a variety of groups on “The Art of Staying Connected to Those Who Matter”, with another book coming later this year (2020). ~ Links, Resources & Show Notes: http://www.thesocialchameleon.show/Lauren-Midgley ~~~ Giveaways at: http://www.thesocialchameleon.show/pickme Call: (480) 525-5258 Email: info@thesocialchameleon.show Connect With Us: Facebook: https://fb.me/SocialChameleonShow Instagram: https://instagram.com/socialchameleonshow Twitter: https://twitter.com/SocialChamShow Subscribe: YouTube: http://bit.ly/SCS-Subscribe Apple Podcast:https://apple.co/2L8hl6R Google Podcast: http://bit.ly/SCS-Google-Podcast Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2KYJ0GF Stitcher: https://bit.ly/SCS-Stitcher More Apps Here http://thesocialchameleon.show/podcast #SocialChameleonShow #LaurenMidgley #StrategicBusinessConsultant #ProductivityStrategist #Author --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/social-chameleon-show/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/social-chameleon-show/support

Are your laptop, desktop, and phone a total mess with digital clutter?? I know all of mine are... Thankfully the wonderful and talented Sarah Steckler, Mindfulness Practitioner and Productivity Strategist of MindfulProductivityBlog.com, is here to help us out! Digital clutter can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed and unproductive. It can also detract from the "sacred digital space" that our devices have the potential to be. "We build up a tolerance to physical and digital clutter - we don't realize how draining it is." So true, Sarah. So true. When we bring mindfulness, awareness, and intention to our digital lives, it is possible to create new habits and practices. We can begin to stem the flow of new clutter coming in and organize what remains. Sarah says, "My computer should feel just as magical and awesome as the rest of my home!" I couldn't agree more. I'm already making changes in my digital life from what I learned in this interview. I hope this episode inspires you to clear out and purify your digital devices. This can lead you to greater peace, serenity, organization and productivity. Win-win-win-win! Here is a link to the Forest time management app Sarah mentioned.
