Do you believe that angels surround you? Do you think you are guided or are you filled with self-doubt? Lisa continues the conversation today with best-selling author Keith Leon S. who absolutely knows his angels are always with him. He asked for assistance as a child and heard the voice of his Guardian Angel. They have been with him ever since and Keith believes we can all ask them for their guidance and wisdom. He talks about reincarnation and what he has learned. He also discusses the non-linear nature of reality and how we can direct things in this reality. The choices we make now dictate our future. We can make them in alignment with the outcome we want. Keith talks about a specific “knowing” and how he manifests. He discusses the power of belief and how it's possible to cancel out our own prayers with our wavering. If we take in the mainstream media and listen to negative news, for example, we can be deeply affected. He reminds us that we can choose to only receive things in alignment with how we want to be. We can look at role models and the choices they make. He talks about his involvement with Agape Spiritual Center and his relationship with Reverend Michael Beckwith. He became a practitioner there, as well as a soloist in their music program, including performing on stage with Stevie Wonder and Ben Vereen. Keith shares a personal story in which Ben Vereen was singing and afterward talked about his admiration for him. Since that moment, he realized that he was no longer nervous to sing and perform for an audience. Keith also discusses Ernest Holmes and the teachings of the Church of Religious Science, as well as other great spiritual teachers. He explains how they are all saying the same thing, only using different words. He further shares messages from his Angels and their words for humanity's future. He talks about how everything is for the “highest good,” even if it doesn't seem that way. We must turn off the noise and rely on our inner knowing. He suggests going into a place of stillness and asking a single question. The quality of our questions determines our answers. Keep asking that question over and over, until you receive the answer. He also suggests writing positive affirmations and repeating mantras 100 times a day for 33 days to reprogram our subconscious minds. That way, we can become aligned and find an energetic match to what we desire. Keith is a multiple best-selling author, international speaker, and owner of a successful book publishing company. His books include, “Walking with My Angels,” “Who Do You Think You Are? Discover the Purpose of Your Life,” and “The Seven Steps to Successful Relationships,” co-authored with his wife, Maura.  He also talks about his most recent book and film, “The Inside Effects: How the Body Heals Itself,” which is available to watch for Free. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: LeonSmithPublishing.com; BeyondBeliefPublishing.com  and TheInsideEffects.com

Reverend Michael Beckwith is the founder and CEO of Agape International Spiritual Center, a trans-denominational community in LA that teaches the science of inter-transformation unity through meditation, affirmative prayer, and life-visioning. He is a sought-after meditation teacher, conference speaker, and seminar leader on the life-visioning process. As a co-founder and president of the Association of Global New Thought, he has hosted conferences featuring operators of world peace, including his holiness the Dalai Lama, and had the distinguished honor of presenting to Nelson Mandela the Gandhi King Award. Beckwith's personal journey of spiritual awakening began in the 70s when he was a psychobiology major at USC. He describes having inner experiences that he initially labeled as pathological until a lucid dream experience led him to discover the intrinsic wholeness that we are as unique expressions of the divine. This experience compelled him to explore different paths to awakening, leading him to become a licensed spiritual practitioner and minister. Beckwith's story is a powerful testament to the transformative power of spiritual practice and the importance of staying true to oneself. Beckwith provides valuable advice on how to approach healing and the power of mindset. He encourages individuals to not hold onto the prognosis of a diagnosis and instead focus on their agreement with the universe and spiritual practice. Physical healing has an emotional and mental component — that healing is a revealing of the intrinsic wholeness that we are as unique expressions of the divine. His advice offers listeners powerful tools for achieving conscious living and unlocking their true potential.   The Biggest Helping: Today's Most Important Takeaway “I believe that I want people to know that they have an unlimited capacity for wellness, well-being, joy, and harmonizing prosperity, and that that is not determined by their genetic codes, not determined by what's going on in society, that they could have access to that with intention and a little bit of spiritual practice. That they're not limited in any way. They're not limited by who their parents were. They're not limited by what's going on in the world. They are unlimited beings, but they have to have a little bit of focus, a little bit of an intention, and then inertia becomes momentum and emergence takes place.” -- Thank you for joining us on The Daily Helping with Dr. Shuster. As we were transitioning slowly out of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, I spent a lot of my spare time working on myself. It was my second year in of being in the personal development world. It was my second year of living by myself. It was my second year of getting to know who I really was.If you had met me a couple of years before, you probably would have met someone who was lost. I was repeating the same patterns of behaviour and circulating around me were people who I desperately wanted to help but couldn't, because they did not want to help themselves. The women in my family knew. They were saying that these people were literally “sucking” my soul energy. Someone I know described me as, “the nicest person they've ever met.” It was a great compliment but, at that time, I didn't want to wear this description, this label. Being nice was fitting into the world around me, to the people around me, without respecting my own boundaries. Being nice was always saying yes. Being nice was picking up after people without looking after myself. The totality of who I was at that time, the totality of who I am now, is more than that one word. I think all of us cannot be summed up into one word, nor should we allow ourselves or anyone else to do so. Language is powerful. Stringing words together can be both a melodic and a free-ing exercise for our psyche. I think in some ways, at that time, two years ago, I was already walking into the person I would develop into. You may have heard me mention the poet David Whyte before. He is a writer that have brought a lot of healing into my life these past few months. I often hear him say that when we are presented with a problem, when we are presented with a difficulty, a challenge we cannot solve, when we fail to see a solution, any solutions, right away, to “ask the right questions.”He isn't the only one who says that. Another figure who has made a big impact in my life these recent years has been Reverend Michael Beckwith, who talks about “asking lofty questions.” The questions that allow you to dream, to expand. And the work that I will recite now, is by the poet Rilke, from the book “Letters to a young Poet”. It is one of my favourite lines and it reads like this:“I want to beg you, as much as I can, dear sir, to be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”And so, during the past two years, from meeting the works of Reverend Michael Beckwith and of David Whyte, I was reminded of these lines by Rilke again and that is what I did.The thing about a contemplative tradition or a practice is learning the art of patience. No matter if the problem we face is a personal one or a global one, if a circumstance causes us a lot of pain and confusion or we find ourselves in some kind of a desperate need, we may end up taking the wrong turns. We may end up being unable to think clearly. But eventually, even as our heart continues to ache, our bodies will tire and instead of asking, “why me? Why them? Why us?” We may begin asking a different kind of question. This is the art of patience you see. Even if we had just ran around chasing our invisible tails like an excited dog, the question, a right kind of question that we need to repeat, may not come straight away. We need to be patient. Our antennas have been tuned to different frequencies all along. It is no wonder that this will take time. The amount of times I have pondered over a question by now is numerous. I would still be in the same situation, the outer circumstances haven't changed, but, I stubbornly. tell myself, speaking to myself over and over, “What is the question I should be asking here?” But of course, the lesson of patience is that it doesn't come right away. I ask and I am met with silence on most days. Days where I think what I am doing is simply ridiculous. A self-made, made-up circumstance - possibly worth nothing, useless and not worth my time or energy. And on that brink, as I am about to give up, because it may possibly be worth nothing, that it is just myself entertaining my own curiosity, I continue to ask. It becomes like a game for me. The question may come to me. It may not. I have nothing to lose at this point. And if the right question comes, it would be a great surprise.I am playing a game with my own patience. Even as my heart aches, even with a sense of losing myself, even if I continue to chase my own tail, I continue to try to stay patient simultaneously. Eventually it comes. This has happened to me time and time again. I don't think I am neither special nor possess special powers. It is just that I was patient.Sometimes the wait is a mere few seconds. Our hearts may already know what needed to be asked. But sometimes the wait is months or years. For me, framing my perspective with questions is golden. We meet many people day in and day out. As we get into positions of authority, as we get older, as our life expands to not just our immediate family members but extended families and so forth, we will meet souls with different life experiences and as such, different perspectives. We are also bombarded with many black and white statements and many schools of thoughts.Sticking to a one particular view only makes our lives smaller. This is where division occurs. But that little question mark at the end of a sentence? That is priceless. That little question mark opens up doors to a deeper relationship with our interiority. A place where we discover we are more than a word and where our life circumstances are only a small fraction of millions of possibilities. And from that place of cultivating patience from within, of waiting for the right questions to appear, like Rilke says, we will, “gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”No Rilke didn't write in this letter about talking about an answer, not thinking about an answer. With a question that rings truthfully for ourselves, our bodies take on a different quality. Once this question is asked, our hands and our feet begin to walk in a subtly different rhythm. We find ourselves in places and spaces we hadn't occupied before. Our sensory windows get attuned to other sounds and sights. It is slow. It is gradual. It is steady. And the only way to realise the answers sometimes is to look back after a certain point, many many many years from now, and realise how you had asked a certain question time and time again, and began to live it at the time of birthing this question, of also meeting this question. And how, in this certain future, you are about to be on your way to asking another question.Contemplations:What questions have you lived? What is the question you should be asking here? Link: "https://consciouslivingtv.com/blog/spirit/resurrecting-the-universal-christ-consciousness.html (I live by every word in this article 100% and I agree with every point the author made in this article 100%.) "Years later, I became a curious spiritual seeker. I studied Kabbalah, Scientology, Hinduism and Buddhism, looking for the one “true” religion. I went to every temple, cathedral, mosque and church I could find. Eventually, I visited L.A.'s Agape Spiritual Center, a congregation based on the Science of Mind tradition founded by Ernest Holmes. It was an eye-opener. There, I first encountered the concept of the “universal Christ consciousness.” The services included affirmations and songs, but unlike my home church growing up, Reverend Michael Beckwith recited scriptures from every major religion, including the Torah, Koran, and the Bhagavad Gita. He often referenced Jesus' words in the bible: “The kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20-21). In his purview, Christ's most important legacy was not a particular religion or the church itself, but his Spirit – his God consciousness – which reigns in all hearts. This philosophy hit home when I studied the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, the Indian saint who founded Self-Realization Fellowship in 1920 to bring yoga to the West and share the underlying truth behind all true religions. Yogananda taught extensively about the universal Christ consciousness. He taught that in an inner kingdom of divine consciousness, the awakened intuitive perception of the soul pierces the veils of matter and life energy, and uncovers the God-essence in all things. In his critically acclaimed books, The Second Coming of Christ and The Yoga of Jesus, Yogananda wrote: “Many are the churches and temples founded in his name, often prosperous and powerful, but where is the communion that he stressed—actual contact with God? Jesus wants temples to be established in human souls, first and foremost; then established outwardly in physical places of worship. Instead, there are countless huge edifices with vast congregations being indoctrinated in churchianity, but few souls who are really in touch with Christ through deep prayer and meditation.” When asked about Christ's resurrection and the second coming, Yogananda never considered Jesus' literal return to Earth. He said: “A thousand Christs sent to earth would not redeem its people unless they themselves become Christlike by purifying and expanding their individual consciousness to receive therein the second coming of the Christ Consciousness, as was manifested in Jesus. Contact with this Consciousness, experienced in the ever new joy of meditation, will be the real second coming of Christ—and it will take place right in the devotee's own consciousness.” This Easter, I choose to resurrect the Universal Christ Consciousness within my own heart. For me, this contact has nothing to do with how I express my religion on the outside – what I wear, whether I go to church or not and the songs I sing are of little importance. Though it may work for others, I don't need a cross, communion, or special hymn to find God. This means walking humbly through the world with kindness and compassion; loving others especially when they don't believe what I do, whether they're Islamic, Jewish, atheist, white, gay or republican. And perhaps of greatest importance is cultivating a deeper love for the Divine – whether I call it Christ, Krishna, Buddah, Allah, Elohim, Higher Power, Divine Mother, or God." --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/support

Our internal dialogue is intimately connected to our physical body, and our mitochondria are always eavesdropping on our thoughts. In fact, our mindset can be one of our strongest guiding forces. The overwhelming stresses in today’s world can create enormous strain on our nervous system, leading to burnout and breakdown. Through working on our mindset, we can lessen our reactions to stress. But it takes practice and loyalty to our intentions to make our good mindset habitual. Your thoughts have real and measurable effects on your overall health and wellbeing. Feeling we have a purpose in life and sharing our unique gifts with the world allows us to tap into more joyful living. And a major part of pursuing a sense of purpose is identifying what makes you feel your best. I’ve explored this topic with a number of my guests on this podcast. This mini-episode of The Doctor’s Farmacy includes portions of my past conversations on this podcast with Bulletproof founder and CEO, Dave Asprey and Reverend Michael Beckwith, Founder and Spiritual Director of the Agape International Spiritual Center.
