Hille har sett House of Hummingbird, koreanska regissören Kim Boras coming of age-film om tonårsbekymmer i Seoul 1994.
Kinomatiskt är fortsatt decimerat då Felix denna gång fick kasta in handduken.

Do you want to learn about practical ways to make changes that will help care for creation? J.D. and David have great ideas for you (and me)! Join us for part 3 of our September series and learn how you can help preserve the earth's resources through simple in your homes, in the grocery store, and in your landscaping.
In part two of our Sept series, J.D. and David share with us about:
We are kicking off our new four part series today! Each week in September, we will be unpacking the idea of caring for creation. We will be talking about how to partner with our Creator God to take care of the creation around us. We will looking at this topic from a theological and scientific lens. My friends, Dr. David Hille & J.D. Henry are going to guide us through these inspiring and important conversations this month. Today, in part 1 of the series, we are going to hear from David and J.D. about what has led them to be passionate about this topic, why this is a significant conversation for Jesus followers, and how caring for the earth and caring for people are intertwined. Let me tell you about my friends, David and J.D…. Dr. David Hille completed a Masters in Biology and PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Oklahoma, during which he studied the populations and conservation issues of parrots in the Central American country of Nicaragua and co-authored a field guide to the birds of Nicaragua. David is now a professor in the Biology Department at NNU where he teaches Wildlife Biology and Ecology. David is married to Sarah, and they have two wonderful kids. J.D. Henry received his Mdiv. From George Fox Evangelical Seminary (now Portland Seminary). He served as a youth pastor for 15 years in Phoenix and Portland. His family moved back to his hometown in Idaho, where J.D. now serves as the lead chaplain for Keystone Hospice. J.D. is married to his wife, Alaina, and they have three awesome kids. If you'd like to reach out to David or J.D. to let them know how much you appreciated what they shared, you can email them at dhille@nnu.edu and chaplain.j.d.henry@icloud.com. — If there is any way that I can support you in your ditching perfection journey, please reach out to me at carlycommunicates.com or on instagram at @carlycommunicates. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/carly-bartlett/support

Sista avsnittet innan ett sommaruppehåll blir tillika ett jubileum. 50 avsnitt! Vem hade trott?
In the Mood for Love i topp. Felix valde actionpackade The Wages of Fear från 1953 medan Hille spanade in den surrealistiska Last Year in Marienbad från 1961.

A lifelong love of singing and dancing took Robyn Bennett from her hometown stages to New York City and then to Paris. Once there, she performed in the musical Cabaret, directed by Sam Mendes, which played for two years at the famous Folies Bergère theatre. Now Robyn makes her own music and performs regularly with her partner in life and work, trombone player Ben van Hille. She has written and produced several albums and performs her songs live in high-energy concerts with her incredible band.Robyn draws on an eclectic group of musical influences to create a sound that's uniquely hers. Her latest series of songs are part of a musical triptych - a 3-part series of EPs in which she affirms her strength to move forward no matter what, to stay positive and keep smiling, to share good vibes and love.On this episode, host Angela de Burger chats with Robyn about how her creative journey led her from the USA to France, how speaking two languages enables her to tap more deeply into her creativity, her approach when writing, recording and performing her songs, and the energy she draws from collaborating with fellow musicians.Say hi to Robyn: Website - robynbennett.com Instagram - @robynbennettmusic Facebook - /robynbennettmusic YouTube - @RobynBENNETTChannel----Creative Pulse Podcast socials: Instagram: creativepulsepodcast Twitter: @CreativePulseTWMusic credit: https://www.purple-planet.com

Jim is joined by Bob Hille, Senior Editorial Consultant at Sporting News, to discuss the hall of fame candidacy of former MLB center fielder, Jim Edmonds. First, Bob and Jim cover the 2000s St. Louis Cardinals and where Edmonds ranked in the pecking order among Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen, Yadier Molina, and others (6:23). Next, they discuss Jim's famous catch in Game 7 of the 2004 NLCS, whether Edmonds was as good of a center fielder as his eight gold gloves lead us to believe he was, and the invention of Web Gems on Baseball Tonight (14:33). Finally, they compare Edmonds career to Andruw Jones and come to a conclusion on who had the better career (34:00), before making a final call on whether or not Edmonds deserves a plaque in Cooperstown (53:02).
In this episode of “The Journey of My Mother's Son” podcast, I sit down to talk with Krystal Hille. Krystal is another one of the amazing humans that I met through the Your Words Have Power event sponsored by Wendy Corner back in October of 2022. Krystal is the founder of Hill House Publishing and Inspired Relations. She is an international speaker, bestselling author, and soul leadership mentor. Krystal is enthusiastic about empowering individuals to fulfill their highest potential and she has always been curious about people's motivations and why they do what they do. The common thread through all has been to help the community as well as her clients – purpose-driven entrepreneurs especially in the personal development field, change-makers, and conscious creatives – to step into their zone of flow and claim the essence of soul leadership, so their passion can ignite global change. Krystal is a serial entrepreneur who has a thriving coaching, speaking, and now publishing business since 2008. In her own words, Krystal says: I grew up in Germany as the eldest daughter of a church minister and I was the editor of the school magazine amongst many other things. After school, I moved to England to explore my freedom and traveled the world extensively in my teens and twenties. I graduated from University with a BA Hons (with distinction) in English Literature and Theatre Studies, became a theatre director, drama teacher, and spent some time in Education Outreach Programs for the Royal Shakespeare Company. This satisfied my desire to share stories and understand human motivations through literature and theatre. After a divorce in my early 30s, the universe guided me (in a literal dream and many other synchronicities) to move to Australia. So, I did. After some soul-searching about what to do next, I wrote myself into clarity that it was time to stop putting stories on stage and instead help people improve the stories of their lives. I studied coaching, NLP, Timeline Therapy, Reiki etc. and started helping women to step into their feminine flow. I had studied with spiritual teachers since my mid-twenties, and my spiritual side started to influence my work, especially the retreats I began running. I facilitated past-life regressions, ancestral clearings and soul reconnections. When I realized that many women were disembodied and scared to be fully present in their lives, I added Tantra to my toolkit, to assist with this phenomenon and help cultivate life-force energy for manifestation purposes and more. When Covid hit, I was running big events in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney and was speaking at many Tantra Festivals in Australia. With lockdowns, it was time to re-invent myself again, especially since I didn't feel like staying in ‘my lane'. I wasn't speaking about authentic relating, embodiment, or conscious communication anymore. Instead, I spoke about the importance of conscious entrepreneurs and change makers stepping up and speaking up. I wanted to help create a countermovement to the fear mongering propagated by the mainstream media and share inspiration and hope with the world. But many light workers and change-makers were still not stepping into their full potential, and I felt called to help them (and myself, if I am totally honest). After becoming a bestselling author in 2020, the opportunity to become a publisher presented. It resonated and I said yes in early 2021 when I founded Hille House Publishing. Multi-author books, also known as collaborative books, became a vehicle for clients to get permission to claim a future personality of pure potential, certainty, and confidence. Since then (now June 2022), I have enrolled over 90 thought leaders from 5 continents and 20 countries, and every book has become an international #1 bestseller in numerous categories on Amazon. In June of 2022, my desire to give back to the community propelled me to create Inspired Relations, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to provide education around co-dependency, coercion and more. Krystal lives in the country Victoria, Australia, with her two gorgeous children. The Winter Orphans by Kristin Beck A poignant and ultimately triumphant novel based on the incredible true story of children who braved the formidable danger of guarded, wintry mountain passes in France to escape the Nazis, from the acclaimed author of Courage, My Love. Southern France, 1942 In a remote corner of France, Jewish refugee Ella Rosenthal has finally found a safe haven. It has been three years since she and her little sister, Hanni, left their parents to flee Nazi Germany, and they have been pursued and adrift in the chaos of war ever since. Now, they shelter among one hundred other young refugees in a derelict castle overseen by the Swiss Red Cross. Swiss volunteers Rösli Näf and Anne-Marie Piguet uphold a common mission: to protect children in peril. Rösli, a stubborn and resourceful nurse, directs the colony of Château de la Hille, and has created a thriving community against all odds. Anne-Marie, raised by Swiss foresters, becomes both caretaker and friend to the children, and she vows to do whatever is necessary to keep them safe. However, when Germany invades southern France, safeguarding Jewish refugees becomes impossible. Château de la Hille faces unrelenting danger, and Rösli and Anne-Marie realize that the only way to protect the eldest of their charges is to smuggle them out of France. Relying on Rösli's fierce will and Anne-Marie's knowledge of secret mountain paths, they plot escape routes through vast Nazi-occupied territory to the distant border. Amid staggering risk, Ella and Hanni embark on a journey that, if successful, could change the course of their lives and grant them a future.

A few weeks back, we talked with Eric Hille, a San Miguel, California firefighter about his plans to take a team of volunteers to Ukraine. The mission, called Task Force Joint Guardian, would be the first-ever effort to send civilian firefighters and paramedics to an active overseas war zone. Eric served two tours in the Army, and coupled with his experience as a firefighter, has the right skill set to run this operation. He solicited donations of equipment and funds to start sending rotating teams to help the Ukrainian first responders. The first group was a success—they spent eight days working side-by-side with the Ukrainian firefighters. He's now getting ready to send the second team. A third and fourth mission are being prepped. Eric Hille is an Engineer with the San Miguel Fire Department. He also runs the “US/Mexico Firefighters United” nonprofit aid organization.

A firefighter in San Diego County, California, has started Operation Joint Guardian, an effort to help the people of Ukraine. Eric Hille, a veteran of the US Army, planned to just send USAR equipment over there. Many civilian structures are being heavily damaged by Russian rocket attacks and local USAR resources are unable to keep up. Then, when he found out that aid workers on the ground wouldn't know what to do with the supplies, he decided to take some volunteers to Ukraine and pitch in. They're raising the funds needed right now. Eric Hille is an Engineer with the San Miguel, California, Fire Department. He also runs the “US/Mexico Firefighters United” nonprofit aid organization.
