Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 69, originally published in January 2012. Join Jason Hartman and film director, Jeff Warrick as they discuss subliminal messaging in our culture. Are we really brainwashed? Many, of course, call this a conspiracy theory, but Jeff feels the real conspiracy is in how nearly all of the media outlets are owned by five companies, who all seem to work in conjunction with one another and all share board of directors. Jeff's research for the documentary, “Programming the Nation?” found many instances of subliminal messaging, including in a presidential campaign ad in 2000 for George W. Bush, and Disney films and marketing ads, just to name a few. To learn more, listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com/podcast. Jeff Warrick talks about how subliminal messaging is clearly being used in many ways. The U.S. Army has psychological operations units that have the capability of broadcasting such messages from a plane to influence people's behavior. According to the late Wilson Bryan Key, this happened in Waco and was also used to force Manuel Noriega out of the Vatican compound in Panama City. Influencing behaviors can also be done by planting false stories, innocuous words in ads, music, and other propaganda. The documentary doesn't explore why subliminal messaging is used, but it explores how it has been purportedly used throughout the years and sheds some light on the amount of misinformation out there today regarding this subject, based on recent studies that prove subliminal messaging is effective at least to a small extent. Jeff Warrick founded Ignite Productions in 2002 to create revolutionary and thought provoking entertainment. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2000 with a double major in Film and Literature, and his screenwriting accomplishments include two original scripts that advanced to the top 5% in the Nicholl Fellowships in 2003 and 2005. With over 10 years of experience with print and web-related media, he is also responsible for dozens of successful marketing, graphic design, multi-media, and technical support related campaigns. He directed “Programming the Nation?” as his personal mission to determine if these manipulative tactics have succeeded, or if subliminal programming belongs in the category of urban legend. Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 92, originally published in May 2012. On this episode, Jason Hartman interviews author and Executive Director for The Post Sustainability Institute, Rosa Koire. This is an incredible interview regarding UN Agenda 21 Sustainable Development, a plan that was designed by the United Nations, signed on by George H. W. Bush in 1992, to inventory and control all resources, human and natural, including all means of production, land, and information resources. “There is no aspect of your life that is not impacted by U.N. Agenda 21,” says Rosa Koire, author of Behind the Green Mask. Listen for more details at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Rosa describes this agenda as the biggest public relations scam in the history of the world, in which it twists public opinions so that we think we're having some impact on the government plans that are being imposed on us, when in fact we do not. It's affecting us now. Rosa provides some history on the origins of UN Agenda 21, a plan with the goal to ultimately create a world government. Many of the projects are happening already, such as transferring private property into public hands via a program called “Growing Smart.” It puts restrictions on the ability to use our private property. As with every other government policy, this is being done under the guise of protecting us and providing sustainability through political jargon. Rosa emphasizes that this is a plan to take control of us, our physical bodies, not just our real estate, and it is happening all over the world. Rosa talks about planners being taught how to deal with dissenters who are speaking the truth, schools putting sustainability principles into every course (indoctrination of our children), and exhausting our military with wars and drugging us for mental illness diagnoses. Jason and Rosa then cover land use and urban planning, where the goal is to move people into cities. Rosa also explains SmartMeters, municipal utilities, new appliances containing chips, smoking laws, people being watched and monitored, etc. This is an interview you don't want to miss. Rosa Koire, ASA, is the executive director of the Post Sustainability Institute. She is a forensic commercial real estate appraiser specializing in eminent domain valuation. Her nearly 30 years of experience analyzing land use and property value enabled her to recognize the planning revolution sweeping the country. While fighting to stop a huge redevelopment project in her city, she researched the corporate, political, and financial interests behind it and found UN Agenda 21. Impacting every aspect of our lives, UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is a corporate manipulation using the Green Mask of environmental concern to forward a globalist plan. Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 88, originally published in July 2012. Teaching basic reading, writing, and arithmetic has been systematically replaced with an agenda-based curriculum run by government organizations, shifting America's educational system from one of learning facts and figures to changing values and beliefs, i.e. brainwashing. Join Jason Hartman and whistleblower Charlotte Iserbyt in this lively discussion about the dumbing down of America's school children and college students. Listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Charlotte explains 100-plus years of chronological history of educational reform, through the use of controversial, non-academic material, institutionalizing schools, and plans for a global economy, and how these reforms have led to American students scoring below the international average and being among the lowest of several participating nations in mathematics and science. Material collected over a 30 – 50-year period shows the irrefutable proof of deliberate and malicious intent to bring about behavioral changes in students, parents, and society for a collective mentality. Charlotte discusses the Pavlovian and Skinner animal training methods being employed today in America's schools that has led to a socialist democracy, and which is disguised in many ways, such as Outcome-Based Education. She also talks about how books are being phased completely out of schools, to be replaced with computers, which further emphasizes this global economic system and collectivism. Charlotte encourages parents to become more knowledgeable and informed of what their children are being taught in today's schools. Charlotte Iserbyt served as Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education, during the first Reagan Administration, where she first blew the whistle on a major technology initiative which would control curriculum in America's classrooms. Iserbyt is a former school board director in Camden, Maine and was co-founder and research analyst of Guardians of Education for Maine (GEM) from 1978 to 2000. She has also served in the American Red Cross on Guam and Japan during the Korean War, and in the United States Foreign Service in Belgium and in the Republic of South Africa. Iserbyt is a speaker and writer, best known for her 1985 booklet “Back to Basics Reform or OBE: Skinnerian International Curriculum” and her 1989 pamphlet “Soviets in the Classroom: America's Latest Education Fad”, which covered the details of the U.S.-Soviet and Carnegie-Soviet Education Agreements which remain in effect to this day. She is a freelance writer and has had articles published in Human Events, The Washington Times, The Bangor Daily News, and included in the record of Congressional hearings. Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 110, published in October 2012. Throughout our life, we often experience “aha” moments of truth and clarity, but why don't those moments of clarity last? In this 10th show, Jason Hartman's guest, Elisha Goldstein, PhD, author of The Now Effect: How a Mindful Moment Can Change the Rest of Your Life, explored the reasons and asked the question, “What if an awareness of that space, that moment, could change the rest of your life?” Elisha explains that what we practice and repeat becomes habit. Our brain is wired to routine and to the negative. By becoming aware of automatic thoughts and processes, we can stop them and make different choices. The space in which this awareness happens, Elisha refers to as “choice points.” Practicing and repeating new and positive choices, such as compassion and kindness, creates new habits of thinking. Elisha elaborates on how this process works in the brain. He also discusses intuition and provides some basic practices to help rewire our brains to make our intuition more reliable, to make better choices, and how to become grounded in the here and now and learning to recognize the good in any given moment. For more details, listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D. is in private practice in West Los Angeles and is author of the book The Now Effect: How This Moment Can Change the Rest of Your Life and co-author of A Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workbook, foreword by Jon Kabat-Zinn. He synthesizes the pearls of traditional psychotherapy with a progressive integration of mindfulness to achieve mental and emotional healing. He contends that we have the power to transform our traumas and habitual patterns that keep us stuck in perpetual cycles of stress, anxiety, depression, or addiction and step into greater freedom and peace. He offers practical strategies to calm our anxious minds, transform negative emotions, and facilitate greater self-acceptance, freedom and inner peace Dr. Goldstein, who comes from a family of psychologists, advocates that mental health comes from an approach that looks at all aspects of the self – physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual. As a licensed Psychologist, he teaches mindfulness-based programs in his own practice and through InsightLA. He has spoken at the UCLA Mindfulness and Psychotherapy Conference headlining Thich Nhat Hanh, Daniel Siegel, and Jack Kornfield, The NICABM Conference, Psychotherapy Networker, FACES Conferences, UCLA Semel Institute and Anxiety Disorder Clinic, the University of Washington with Dr. Alan Marlatt, and often hosts daylong courses atUCLA Extension. He is author of the popular Mindfulness and Psychotherapy Blog on Psychcentral.com and writes for the Huffington Post, Mindful.org and Mentalhelp.net. Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 123, from January 2013. It's a fact – many people suffer a mid-life crisis between the ages of 40 and 60. It is a transition period during which one realizes their life may be half over and they reflect on their accomplishments in life, their regrets, and what they would still like to do. Jason Hartman interviews author, Michael Cosgrove, who endured what he called a three-quarter life crisis at the age of 60 that led to his book, Imperfect Passage. Michael had a great life that he had worked hard to achieve – a beautiful family, a successful career, and a lovely home in southern California with views of the Pacific Ocean. But Michael was not taking to the idea of old age well. He wanted to establish a legacy for his family and decided to “shake things up” by embarking on a long and dangerous adventure to attempt to sail around the world. Michael was not prepared for the rigors of such an adventure and suffered many hardships and mental and emotional stress, including a dangerous crew member with a personality disorder. Michael talks about the biggest surprise that came from this attempt, the psychological impact. On the ocean, he noted, you lose all of your control, which required him to adapt to the environmental conditions and get a grip on his attitude. As Michael says, “You can't change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails.” Another lesson he learned was to recognize the difference between a temporary inconvenience and a real problem. Listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com for more about Michael's rough voyage that ultimately led to some of the best lessons about life. Michael Cosgrove earned his BS from Michigan State University and his Masters in psychology from Western Michigan University. He has been a teacher, a coach, a psychologist (MA), a model and an actor. For the past 32 years, he has been masquerading as an insurance agent. The writing process for his book was an emotional experience for him because he has always battled debilitating Dyslexia. First, he hears the words in his head, then feels them in his heart, and they come out of his fingertips onto the keys of his computer. His hope is that his message in Imperfect Passage will add value to the lives of his readers. He realized it's not about him, or the book, but what he can offer the audience as a result of his experience. He hopes the readers will find meaning in the power of success, as well as the lessons of defeat. Website: Imperfect Passage: A Sailing Story of Vision, Terror, and Redemption
Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 98, from July 2012. With a growing wealth disparity across the U.S. as the middle class moves out of expensive states or is significantly reduced to poverty in other areas, there comes ripe ground for a battle between the “haves” and “have-nots.” It is becoming more and more important to protect oneself and family from rising crime. Jason Hartman is joined on this episode by self-defense expert, Alex Haddox, to discuss best practices in self-defense. The first point that Alex addresses is awareness and avoidance, which are key to survival. Based on the military alertness color code, there are five levels of awareness, white, yellow, orange, red, and black. White is a total lack of awareness and black is being stunned and unable to react. Listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com for Alex's life-saving advice. Alex talks about the importance of women's safety, high vulnerability situations, particularly bars, and stresses avoidance is the best solution. Jason and Alex also discuss home security, with lighting being the first step in deterring a home invasion. Alex goes on to explain other security steps homeowners can take, but most importantly, once again stressing awareness as the best defense. Alex Haddox took his first martial arts lesson at age ten. He has over sixteen years of combined traditional martial arts training in multiple styles including American Kenpo, Hapkido and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. He has studied under world-renowned masters including: Grand Master Bong Soo Han, Grand Master Larry Tatum, Senior Master of the Art Mohamad Tabatabai, Master Bill Green, Master Eric Friske, Master Danny Cruz, and Jim Wagner. Mr. Haddox teaches both traditional martial arts and Jim Wagner's Reality-Based Personal Protection system. He believes there are a place and a need for both in today's complex and often dangerous environments. Each type of training offers their own benefits and equally valid point of view to the student. In a previous career, Mr. Haddox was the Product Manager and co-founder of the Symantec AntiVirus Research Center (SARC). He was considered one of the world's leading computer virus experts, traveled worldwide on speaking engagements and appeared on national television programs, including Good Morning America, CNBC, the Discovery Channel and Fox News Network. His work and personal life have taken him all over the globe including countries in North America, Europe, Africa and South America. He has seen some of the world's greatest cities and walked the streets of some of the most underprivileged. His experience has taught him that safety starts with knowing how to conduct yourself and what to be aware of, not necessarily where you are. Website: www.PracticalDefense.com
Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 67 with James Jaeger, from January 2012. Jason Hartman interviews film producer, James Jaeger, regarding the new documentary, “The Spoiler.” James discusses the philosophical underpinnings of our society over the last 100 years, dividing it into two categories: Libertarian Conservative Era and the Progressive Era. Jason and James tackle the question, how can so many people be fooled into this latter system, one of big government and Keynesian economics, for decade after decade, and no matter which political party is in power, they still apply the same philosophies, the same economics? Visit: www.HolisticSurvival.com. James talks about how he and his partners found the conclusion to be powerful philosophers, most especially three major philosophers, Jean-Jaques Rousseau, Auguste Comte, and Karl Marx, to be the influence. These and other philosophers laid the groundwork of these eras and slowly indoctrinated people through the decades. “They basically undermined the whole viewpoint of the individualist, strong, free economic society that we had going from the birth of the nation,” says James. Comte's influence was the greater good, or altruism. Rousseau wrote the book, Social Contract, (democracy.) Karl Marx twisted Comte's greater good to be for the greater good of the State (communism). We have been brought slowly through the years into an increasingly welfare – warfare, totalitarian-type civilization with centralized planning, etc. Jason and James also discuss outsourcing, fractional reserve, taxes, GDP, illegal labor, and many other topics that are a result of the culmination of philosophers and political thinkers through the years. The film, “Spoiler,” offers an explanation of why no third political party has been successful since 1860, and discusses a platform that is based on the political strategies of Nelson Hultberg that could bring a win to a third party and end the current two-party system. James Jaeger is a Telly Award-winning filmmaker, having produced such documentaries as “Fiat Empire,” which featured Rep. Ron Paul and Dr. Edwin Vieira, and “Original Intent,” which featured Ted Baehr, Pat Buchanan, G. Edward Griffin, Ron Paul, and Edwin Vieira. The new “Spoiler” documentary features some of these same experts, among many others, such as Jack Rooney, John Williams, and Chuck Baldwin. James is the founder of Matrixx Productions. James founded the production company to continue goals set forth by Lee Garmes, Academy Artists, Inc., and the Independent Screen Producers Association, of which James is a founding member. James graduated from The Haverford School and The Cinema Institute. He also majored in Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated summa cum laude in filmmaking at Los Angeles City College. He worked personally with Award winning cinematographer-director-producer, Lee Garmes, who became one of James' most important mentors. James holds a management degree from Celebrity Centre in Hollywood and has written and published five books and a 98-volume training manual on motion picture production and operations. James is also a pioneer in broadband distribution of motion pictures over the Internet and a founder of Pay-Per-View.com.
Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 113, from December 2012. Jason Hartman interviews author and artist, Paul Levy, regarding his intense experience with what was deemed bi-polar mental illness, his spiritual awakening, and the journey to free himself from the psychiatric world. Wetiko is an indigenous term used by Native Americans to describe spiritual evil. Due to an intense personal trauma suffered a few years before, Paul had a life-changing spiritual awakening in 1981 that was misdiagnosed as a chemical imbalance and manic-depressive (bi-polar) illness. He was hospitalized numerous times and told he was having a severe psychotic breakdown and would have to live with his illness for the rest of his life. Paul explains how he became aware that, indeed, he was not suffering from a mental illness, but a spiritual awakening (Wetiko) and found spiritual teachers that helped him through his spiritual breakthrough. For more about his amazing story, listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Paul talks about one of the chapters in his book, “Vampire Squid Economics,” which he describes as a perfect symbol of what happens when Wetiko gets into business. An artist, after the trauma of his shamanic break-down/through, he became a certified art teacher. Due to his intense interest in the work of C. G. Jung, by the end of the decade he found himself the manager of the C. G. Jung Foundation Book Service in New York, as well as the advertising manager for the Jungian journal Quadrant. In the fall of 1990, he moved to Portland, Oregon. In 1993, after many years of struggling to contain and integrate his non-ordinary experiences, Paul started to openly share his insights about the dream-like nature of reality. He began giving talks and facilitating groups based on how life is a shared waking dream that we are all co-creating and co-dreaming together. He is the founder of the ‘Awakening in the Dream' Community in Portland, Oregon. He facilitates a number of ‘Awakening in the Dream Groups' every week, which are groups of people who are awakening to the dreamlike nature of reality who are realizing that they can come together in a way that helps everyone deepen and stabilize their lucidity even further. A wounded healer in private practice, he assists others who are also awakening to the dream-like nature of reality. Paul is a pioneer in the field of spiritual emergence. A Tibetan Buddhist practitioner for over 30 years, he has intimately studied with some of the greatest spiritual masters of Tibet and Burma. He is the author of The Madness of George Bush: A Reflection of Our Collective Psychosis. Website: www.AwakenInTheDream.com
Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 144, from May 2013. Eleven out of 50 states have now introduced resolutions into their state legislatures calling on Congress to pass Marcy Kaptur's H.R. 129 to re-instate Glass-Steagall, and South Dakota has become the first state to pass the resolution through both houses. Jason interviews Michael Kirsch of LaRouche PAC about the efforts to reinstate the act. These resolutions have broad bi-partisan support, as the matter or bankruptcy reorganization of the banking system is a matter of national prosperity. Here is a state by state breakdown of co-sponsors for state resolutions, and national co-sponsors of Kaptur's bill. These were inspired by normal citizens contact their elected representatives with the great need for action, and the more state legislators which can be inspired to put pressure in this way on Congress, the better. Glass-Steagall will enable the commercial banking system, though with a shrunken but purified capital, to become an agency of a national credit system guided by a chief lending institution for national infrastructure projects and associated industries. Listen for more information at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Michael has written for a new credit Bank of the United States to lend for national industry and agriculture, modeled on the system of public credit of Alexander Hamilton, Mathew Carey, and John Quincy Adams, and Roosevelt's Reconstruction Finance Corporation's industrial loans. A video presentation of the history is available. It would broaden and define the guiding boundaries of the economy as a permanent coordinating agency for credit agreements, rather than serve as a special emergency institution.
Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 73, originally published in January, 2012. Join Jason Hartman as he interviews Andy Ramirez, founder and president of the Law Enforcement Officers Advocates Council, regarding the legal struggles that border patrol law enforcement officers face with illegal immigration and drug smugglers. As insane as it sounds, border patrol has been told it's not their job to catch illegal immigrants. Andy relates how the policies coming down from the Presidential administrations are not in support of stopping illegal border crossings, how the War on Drugs is nothing more than words, and how the chain of command, from the administration to Homeland Security to border patrol, is stacked in opposition to the real purpose of border patrol law enforcement. Andy shares numerous examples of actual situations and court cases in which law enforcement officials have been unjustly hit with investigations on trumped up charges, convicted and sent to prison for doing their jobs. When charges can't be filed, officers may be fired or moved to other departments. For more details, listen at www.HolisticSurvival.com. The system is set up to turn the good guys into bad guys and the bad guys into good guys. Under the current system, it is no wonder drugs flow so freely into the United States. Andy also talked about security compromises, inaccurate information from DHS, and border corruption, including being asked to testify the truth in the House and Senate because the Chief of Border Control wouldn't tell the truth. Andy discusses with Jason ways to fix these problems, starting with infrastructure changes. Andrew “Andy” Ramirez is the founder and president of the 501c3 non-profit Law Enforcement Officers Advocates Council, which he founded in 2008 as a follow-up to his original non-profit law enforcement officers advocacy organization Friends of the Border Patrol. FOBP was initially created to support the Border Patrol and their agents, while improving the quality of life for border residents. As FOBP's role expanded over the years to include all law enforcement officers, LEOAC is the next evolution in law enforcement advocacy. Andy continues to focus on improving national security at and between the ports of entry as well as along our coastlines, including Puerto Rico. His is a recognized expert on Customs and Border Protection. Andy is a trusted conduit of information between Congressional leaders and those on the front lines. Andy's work has led to a number of Congressional bills that address border security policies to help America's law enforcement officers. These bills enhance enforcement of laws and help remove obstructionist policies and red tape. Andy has uncovered numerous issues, becoming known as the “Defender of Border Patrol Agents”, which now includes all law enforcement officers. He has defended numerous officers that were unjustly prosecuted, terminated, and persecuted for doing their jobs, especially whistleblowers. Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 95, from June 2012. Google has created many incredible and intuitive products to make our lives easier. But at what cost to people's privacy? They can take pictures of your house; they can track your searches and emails to bring you ads and information relevant to your habits and content, and much more. Jason Hartman welcomes Scott Cleland, author of Search and Destroy, on this episode to discuss the dark side of Google. Scott has been researching Google since its inception, as they bought their way to the top. “Google tends to think that doing good or being good is a license to do wrong,” says Scott. Google has created a huge degree of trust, but has the most outrageous legal, fraud, infringement, and anti-trust and privacy violations track record of all public companies. Scott shares some of the situations in which Google was participating in criminal activities. For more details, please listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Google has obtained an incredible amount of power over online information. Jason asks Scott to explain Google's relationship with the government. The U.S. government can obtain whatever private, intimate information that Google has without any warrant or subpoena. It boils down to a lack of security and an invasion of privacy. Scott says they know you better than your own family, online and offline, and the vast amount of information they collect puts people at risk. It seems so convenient that Google knows your search patterns, but is the convenience worth the loss of personal privacy? It definitely raises the security risk and proposes a conflict of interest. As Scott describes, anywhere there is a centralization of power, bad things happen. Scott Cleland is the world's leading Google critic. Cleland has testified before Congress three times about Google. He publishes GoogleMonitor.com and Googleopoly.net, and authors the widely read PrecursorBlog.com. As President of Precursor LLC, he consults for Fortune 500 clients. A former #1 ranked Institutional Investor independent analyst known for spotting early on why the Internet dotcom bubble would burst, Cleland was also the first analyst invited to testify before Congress about the missed warning signs of Enron's fraud and bankruptcy. Fortune profiled Cleland as “ahead of the pack in raising questions about WorldCom's debt, profitability, and survival.” Cleland is a former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Information and Communication Policy. He lives in the Washington D.C. area with his wife and two children.
Today's Flash Back Friday comes from Episode 103, from August 2012. Jason Hartman is joined by author and World Net Daily staff reporter, Jerome Corsi, for a discussion about abiotic oil, population control, the origins of the ACLU and many other topics. Listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Jerome Corsi has authored many books, including The Great Oil Conspiracy, Where's the Birth Certificate?, Unfit for Command, and The Late Great U.S.A. In the first part of the show, Dr. Corsi shares research about abiotic oil, which is a theory that oil is formed from chemical reactions in the Earth's mantle, a process discovered by the Nazis and suppressed by the U.S. Government. Dr. Corsi says there is abundant naturally occurring oil and natural gas supplies, using as example oil that is seeping up from the Earth's mantle in Saudi Arabia. Jason and Dr. Corsi talk about population control and population growth, how the extreme environmentalists say the Earth cannot sustain its current population. Dr. Corsi says the Earth is not dying; the Earth regenerates and naturally controls population. He explains how liberal tendencies, such as fascism, Marxism, socialism ideals, cause depressions, lead to wars and dividing populations, and are usually combined with eugenics that lead to genocide. Governments won't acknowledge that people do not need to be controlled. They stifle human creativity in the name of spreading the wealth. Dr. Corsi also discusses the origins and intentions of the ACLU, which has resulted in a perversion of liberty, enforcing a kind of socialism under the guise of civil rights. He explores the holes in evolution, referencing the extinction and reappearance of the Cambrian Period in a relatively short geological time period, rather than the millions of years in which Darwinism proposes evolution occurs between extinct species. Dr. Corsi received a Ph.D. from Harvard University in Political Science in 1972. He is currently a Senior Staff Reporter for World Net Daily, where he works as an investigative reporter. He is also a senior managing director at Gilford Securities, a full-service boutique investment firm providing financial services to institutional and retail clients. For 10 years after getting his Ph.D. at Harvard, Dr. Corsi taught in universities, the last being the University of Denver in 1981, and conducted university-based research under federally funded contracts. For nearly 25 years beginning in 1981, Dr. Corsi worked with banks throughout the United States and around the world to develop financial services marketing companies to assist banks in establishing broker/dealers and insurance subsidiaries to provide financial planning products and services to their retail customers. Dr Corsi is an expert on political violence and terrorism. In 1981, he received a Top Secret clearance from the Agency for International Development, where he assisted in providing anti-terrorism training to embassy personnel. In 2004, Dr. Corsi co-authored the #1 New York Times bestseller, Unfit for Command — Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry (Regnery Publishing Inc., 2004) with swift boat veteran John O'Neill. The success of Unfit for Command permitted Dr. Corsi to make a career change into full-time writing on politics and economics, two fields in which he has considerable expertise and experience. In August 2008, he published The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality (New York: Simon and Schuster Threshold Editions), which was a #1 New York Times Bestseller for a month and remained on the NYT Bestseller list for 10 weeks. Dr. Corsi has authored and co-authored several oterh non-fiction books, including titles such as, Where's the Birth Certificate (2011), Showdown with Nuclear Iran (2006), America for Sale (2010), and his newest book, The Great Oil Conspiracy: How the U.S. Government Hid the Nazi Discovery of Abiotic Oil from the American People.

Linda feels that the states will begin taking over legal matters, reinstating state rights. Linda expresses concern about the U.S. involvement with Iran, feeling it is a very dangerous situation. She feels that the Occupy Wall Street Movement will become more cohesive and perhaps form a third political party. She discusses the real possibility for multitudes of emergencies, whether water shortages, earthquakes, glacial melting and the rise of oceans, and advises people to be prepared. But she also feels there will be breakthroughs in energy sources and health during this tumultuous time. Eleven out of 50 states have now introduced resolutions into their state legislatures calling on Congress to pass Marcy Kaptur's H.R. 129 to re-instate Glass-Steagall, and South Dakota has become the first state to pass the resolution through both houses.Jason interviews Michael Kirsch of LaRouche PAC about the efforts to reinstate the act.
Effective communication is a crucial aspect to success in relationships with others and often one of the most difficult things to learn. Dr. Andrew Newberg, co-author of Words Can Change Your Brain, joins Jason Hartman to talk about the effects of positive and negative words on our own and others' well-being. Talking to people in a positive, relaxed, compassionate and loving way creates a more intimate and positive experience, while talking to others in a hostile or negative way triggers stress, defensiveness and poor outcomes. Dr. Andrew highlights some of the ways that the brain works with regard to interaction with others, such as working memory, emotions, relaxed vs. reactive behavior, etc., and provides suggestions for framing a positive experience. Dr. Robert Young, co-author with his wife, Shelley, of The pH Miracle: Balance Your Diet, Reclaim Your Health, joins Jason Hartman to discuss the biology of the human body at the cellular level. Dr. Young explains the importance of alkaline balance and provides examples ofenvironmental and manmade situations that shift this balance. One example is a comparison of an alkaline battery and the human body –the human body is an electrical being that runs on electrical energy, which we derive from our environment and foods. When the acid in thebody is out of balance, we become sick, depressed, or tired. A buildup of acid causes the body to shut down. Dr. Young offers answers to correcting the pH level in the body that will help neutralize the acids that are continually produced, such as lactic acid and uric acid. As the crash of the housing market and stock markets unfolded several years ago, we learned much about the often questionable and illegal dealings of numerous large banking entities, such as J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and most recently, HSBC. Jason Hartman interviews the author of The Infiltrator: My Secret Life Inside theDirty Banks Behind Pablo Escobar's Medellin Cartel, Robert Mazur about his undercover work in the drug cartels. Within this shroud of secrecy, Robert came to know the dirty bankers and businessmen that were in the hierarchy of Columbia's drug cartels, and he led the largest money-laundering takedown that brought about charges against more than 80 men and women across the globe. Many of the underworld bankers and business people are still powerful throughout the world, and the drug cartels are difficult, if not impossible, to stop because of the intricate web of lies and corruption in the financial systems. The book of Revelations has been interpreted as the end of times, with many variations on the “how,” “when,” and “who.” Because this book of the Bible is written in metaphors, it is impossible to determine the actual end of time as we know it, but it may be possible to connect the dots of the different prophesied events. Reverend Irvin Baxter believes that most of the events have already happened and that a catastrophic war in the very near future is eminent. Revelations predicts this war will begin at the Euphrates River, an area currently riddled with tension and of concern to the world. The countries along the river are Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq. Rev. Baxter shares his research and thoughts on historic and current political, economic and health world events and how they may relate to the prophecies of the Bible. He feels the next prophecy to be fulfilled will be a war that will kill one-third of mankind. For more details, visit: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Irvin Baxter is the founder and president of Endtime Ministries. He is a television and radio host, author, publisher, and international prophecy teacher. Irvin felt God call him to start traveling as an evangelist at the age of 19. He began pastoring when he was 27, and continued for 33 years until he made the decision to devote all of his time to Endtime Ministries, which focuses on explaining world events from a biblical perspective. Irvin authored A Message for the President in 1986. In the book, he identified for the first time the United States, Great Britain, Russia, and other modern nations in the Bible. He also stated that the Berlin Wall would be torn down; East and West Germany would be reunited; and that these events would be the catalyst that would propel the world into the New World Order. The Wall did come down in 1989, and we have continually heard about the New World Order ever since. In 1998 Irvin Baxter launched a daily radio talk show called Politics and Religion. He regularly conducts prophecy conferences throughout the United States. In March 2006, IrvinBaxter launched the “No National ID” campaign to make people aware of the dangers of “The Real ID Act” which President Bush signed on May 11, 2005. This topic was discussed in detail in the May/June 2006 edition of Endtime magazine. As a result of these and other efforts, the full implementation of the “Real ID Act” has been postponed for the third time, until January 15, 2013. His website is http://www.endtime.com/.
Economic tensions, nuclear and EMP threats, and acts of terrorism, both domestic and abroad, have people concerned about their safety and survival. During the Cold War, bomb shelters or fallout shelters became very popular. Today, your own home can provide the protection you need from whatever threats about which you are most concerned. Jason Hartman is joined by Brian Camden, Principal of Hardened Structures Hardened Shelters LLC, to talk about fortified homes, underground bunkers, protection and action plans, and how many shelters are designed. Brian explains the construction designs and the level of security available. These hardened structures can be built as a nice-looking home or second home or as an addition to an existing home, most often with underground shelters, that are fully sustainable off the grid. Brian shares some of the most important reasons that more and more homeowners are requesting fortified homes or shelters. For more details, listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Hardened Structures Hardened Shelters LLC is a Construction Program Management firm (http://www.hardenedstructures.com/). The Team consists of a core group of independent, specially trained shelter design firms for structural engineering, blast engineering, EMP/HEMP shielding, CBRN, HVAC, electrical and alternative energy designs. There has been a lot of concern about how unprotected our nation is from EMP/HEMP blasts, whether from natural means like solar flares or from warring nations, and the company has been involved in a lot of military projects to protect from these threats. All construction is performed by a special group of geographically specific licensed general contractors. These independent design firms and general contractors have had specialized shelter design and build training before they can become part of the “Hardened Structures Team”. The company provides a “one-stop shop,” including arms, alarm systems, training, security threat assessments and more.
Jason Hartman interviews scientist and inventor, Sir Charles Shults III, regarding the world's energy technology and his research on Mars and why it is important. Sir Charles explains the problems with some energy technologies, including the environmental issues and financial costs. He points out that the companies producing these technologies are not scientists, only really understanding the price side of things. Jason and Sir Charles talk about solar, nuclear, wind energy and more. Nuclear energy is thought of as a dangerous alternative due to disasters around the world, but the designs and the answers exist to make this energy source safe. The problem is that the government has made recycling of nuclear waste illegal, except by the military, for fear of the creation of nuclear weapons by anyone in the private sector. Our biggest problem with solar and wind industry is a lack of storage. Sir Charles explains that we can harness more than enough power for the world, but we don't have the storage capacity. He encourages more research in the energy field. The second half of the interview moves from our planet to space. Sir Charles states that we have answers to every problem. People don't understand the importance of learning to survive in space, which would bring us the means to survive far more efficiently on the ground. He and Jason also explore weather control and advanced weaponry and defense systems already invented and in use. For more about alternative power systems, personal automation and sustainability, please visit: www.HolisticSurvival.com. We could easily support 50 billion people on this planet through technical advances, many of which already exist, without threatening the environment or the biological diversity we are losing presently. Sir Charles Shults III worked at Martin Marietta Aerospace for 10 years on weapons systems and computer based automated test equipment. He wrote the nuclear EMP test software for the Pershing II missile system, worked on Patriot, the Copperhead tank killer, and Advanced Attack Helicopter systems. Charles has performed research under grant on nuclear fusion, was knighted and received a long term grant for his present research in robotics and artificial intelligence. He has written many technical publications and magazine articles on space, astronomy, the atmosphere, and space resource development. In addition, Charles has also appeared on several TV and radio programs.
Humanity faces many challenges, such as climate disruptions, species extinction, shortage of cheap oil, overpopulation, limited resources – a list that could go on and on. But Jason Hartman's guest on this episode, internationally recognized author Duane Elgin says the biggest concern is how urgent we see our situation. What Duane sees developing are these trends converging into the “perfect storm,” a crisis of all of the world's systems. This means political systems, economic systems, social systems, spiritual and religious systems that have overextended themselves, requiring humanity to pull together. He feels this will happen around the 2020s. Duane explains humanity's separation from nature and from one another, stating we have succeeded so well that we've run into our limits and undermined our future success. His stories suggest ways for the human race to pull together, to create sustainability, stressing that system breakdown is actually good news in order to move into a new relationship with one another and the Earth. Please visit www.HolisticSurvival.com for more on Duane and Great Transition Stories. DUANE ELGIN is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and media activist. His books include: The Living Universe, Promise Ahead, Voluntary Simplicity, and Awakening Earth. With Joseph Campbell and other scholars, he co-authored Changing Images of Man. He has worked as a senior staff member of the Presidential Commission on the American Future (looking ahead from 1970 to 2000) and as a senior social scientist with the think-tank SRI International where he coauthored numerous studies of the long-range future. In 2006, Duane received the international Goi Peace Award in recognition of his contribution to a global “vision, consciousness, and lifestyle” that fosters a “more sustainable and spiritual culture.” Duane received an MBA from the Wharton Business School, and an MA in economic-history from the University of Pennsylvania.
Think about the times you have lied about something. Were they little white lies to save face or to protect someone? Was there a big lie that led to another lie or that, once learned, hurt someone deeply or caused a serious trust issue? On this episode, Jason Hartman interviews expert interrogator, Greg Hartley, author of How to Spot a Liar: Why People Don't Tell the Truth…and How You Can Catch Them. Greg explains that on the continuum of normal, there are three reasons people lie: Love, hate and greed. He also says there are people who lie for self-preservation, while there are people who lie for sport to see what they can get away with in life. Greg describes the positions of interrogator and confessor. He mentions there are 14 different ploys that interrogators use that are tied to the ego, love, hate and greed. He also points out body language to look for in liars. One quick tip is if a person seems too perfect, overly accommodating, be wary and trust your instincts. For more details, listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Greg Hartley's expertise as an interrogator first earned him honors with the United States Army. More recently, it has drawn national level intelligence organizations and international Media to seek his insights about “how to” as well as “why.” He graduated from the U.S. Army Interrogation School, the Anti-Terrorism Instructor Qualification Course, the Principle Protection Instructor Qualification Course, and SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) school. His skills as an expert interrogator earned praise while he served as SERE Instructor, Operational Interrogation Support to the 5th Special Forces Group during operation Desert Storm, Interrogation Trainer, and as a creator and director of several joint-force, multi-national interrogation exercises from 1994 to 2000. Among his military awards are the Knowlton Award. He attended law school at Rutgers University. Greg has trained government agencies, private investigators, human resource representatives, and finance experts to read people and detect deception. Hartley has provided expert interrogation analysis for major network and cable television, as well as National Public Radio and prime print media such as The Washington Post and Philadelphia Enquirer . Important foreign media such as BBC, and Der Spiegel have also relied on his commentary. Hartley has contributed to articles for major magazines such as Spin, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Details. Hartley created simulations of interrogation for British television in Torture: The Guantanamo Guidebook, and for the History Channel in We Can Make You Talk. Greg Contributed to the upcoming movie Neurotypical. More recently Hartley has provided expert analysis of what people are really saying with behaviors and body language for national media like HLN, InSession, Paula Zahn Now, HLN Prime News and Glenn Beck. Hartley has made appearances on countless news programs, local TV, and radio around the country. Greg has extensive experience as an employee in large corporations based in the US and abroad. He has worked as a business consultant to Fortune 500 Companies in the US and consulted to international clients. Greg teaches and consults the use of Extreme Interpersonal Skills© in daily business applications.
Jason Hartman feels our society is terribly overdosed on medications these days, so this topic is very important. He interviews Nicky VanValkenburgh about her book, Train Your Brain, Transform Your Life: Conquer Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in 60 Days, Without Ritalin. Nicky describes how brain training works, which is an effective, non-medicinal cure for ADHD. The cure was discovered as far back as 1967, but has been largely suppressed by the media. She talks about the symptoms of ADHD and the need for stimulation. Nicky also explains Sensory Motor Rhythm, the “light and sound” machine, and shares some success stories of people who have trained their brains with her program. The training creates new neural pathways for peak brain performance and can be done from the comfort of home. Listen at: www.HolisticSurvival.com for more information on ADHD, brain training and brain plasticity. Nicky is also the Director of www.Train Your Brain Transform Your Life.com which spotlights her book and 60-day brain training program for ADHD.
In light of the recent election results, thousands of people across the United States started petitions to the government requesting that their state secede from the Union. Drew Zahn, news editor at WND, joins Jason Hartman for a discussion about this movement that immediately followed on the heels of Obama's re-election. Drew and Jason talk about states' rights, pointing out that many citizens feel our individual rights are also being infringed upon through some of President Obama's mandates, such as healthcare reform. The movement began with one gentleman in Louisiana asking for a peaceful secession from the Union for his state and very quickly snowballed. Drew explains the legality involved in secession, noting that there are three ways that a state can leave the Union. For details on this issue, please visit www.HolisticSurvival.com. Citizens in all 50 states have petitioned the White House, with many states having acquired more than enough signatures to meet the requirement of the government's policy for petitions. Jason and Drew discuss the ramifications, good, bad and difficult, of a state actually legally seceding. Drew Zahn is a reporter, movie critic and one of the news editors at WND.com, the nation's oldest, largest independent online news source. A graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, Drew Zahn is a former pastor, who cut his editing teeth as a member of the award-winning staff of Leadership, Christianity Today's professional journal for church leaders. He is the editor of seven books, including “Movie-Based Illustrations for Preaching and Teaching,” which sparked his ongoing love affair with film and his weekly WND column, “Popcorn and a (World)View.” He and his wife and their 16 children live in Iowa.
Jason Hartman is joined by Pastor Lindsey Williams to share his experiences from members of the Elite, a group of very wealthy people around the world that are said to be behind the orchestration of the global financial crisis for the inception of a one-world currency. He describes the “ethical” code of the Elite and ways that they attempt to get the word out to people before situations happen, particularly through the use of media. Signals that Pastor Williams was to watch for were a crack in the derivative market, which goes unregulated and in May 2012, J.P. Morgan lost $5 billion on derivative trading and $25 billion in share losses; currency wars that began with China saying they will allow a 0.5% – 1% increase in their currency; trade wars in which countries bypass the American dollar; and an increase in interest rates. For more of Pastor Williams' claims, visit: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Pastor Williams emphasizes the need to secure assets now and be aware of all that is going on around the world. One step is to trade our worthless paper money for gold and silver. Lindsey Williams was invited to be the Chaplain to the Elite of the world for three years during the construction of the Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline. Because of his position as Chaplain, he was offered executive status with Alyeska Pipeline Service Company in an advisory capacity and sat in the board meetings with the Elite, listening to people who tell the President of the United States what to do, tell Congress what bills to pass, dictate the price of oil on any given day, and control the currencies of the world, talk of their plans. Pastor Lindsey Williams is the author of six books, two of which became best sellers. He has been a Baptist minister for 55 years.
On this show, we have talked about food, medication and just about everything that makes us sick. For this episode, Jason Hartman is joined by Sonia Barrett to talk about her forthcoming documentary, The Business of Disease. Sonia is an author and the host/producer and founder of Sovereign Mind Radio. She wrote an article in 2010 entitled “The Marketing of Breast Cancer, the pink ribbon agenda, and received staggering positive feedback. It led to the production of The Business of Disease. Sonia takes a look at how marketing and media, such as the pink ribbons, drive a huge business for the awareness and treatment of breast cancer. She points out that various businesses make tons of money from different events and fundraisers, and hospitals make more money from mammograms. In the documentary, Sonia took a look at how all of the awareness efforts for breast cancer affect the brain, not just for women, but for their spouses and children. This is a segue into talking about Sonia's book, The Holographic Canvas: The Fusing of Mind and Matter. She explains that our belief system is shaped by society, family, and upbringing, and without asking questions, those belief systems establish what reality is going to look like for each of us. This can make our reality less than authentic and more of “going with the flow.” Reality is what we focus on and whatever each person focuses on at any given moment in their life is what is real to them. Sonia encourages examining belief systems. For more information, visit: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Sonia Barrett's book was published in 2008, providing cutting edge insights supported by quantum physics, that addresses programming, beliefs and concepts by which we have lived our lives both individually and collectively. These insights provide clarity in understanding the paradox of both the real and the unreal; the visible and the invisible components of reality; the holographic experience. Known for her mind-bending concepts, she stretches the mind even further by going beyond the common view of time. Sonia Barrett has appeared on panels with such noted speakers/scientists as Dr. Amit Goswami, Dr. Bruce Lipton and a number of others. She has been a Key Note speaker at a number of conferences to name a few; the ISSSEEM Conference, Conscious Life Expo and the Alchemy Conference. Sonia Barrett is a popular radio guest and has appeared on television as well. She appeared in the 2010 film Ghetto Physics, produced by Will Arntz (producer of What the Bleep do We Know) and E Raymond Brown. She also appears in the upcoming docudrama (2012) Openings, The Search for Harry. She is currently producing her first documentary, The Business of Disease, a 90-minute feature, and is also publishing a companion book for the film filled with chapters from everyone in the film. In addition to Sovereign Mind Radio (www.sovereignmindradio.com), she is the founder and publisher of Sovereign Mind Magazine (www.sovereignmindmagazine.com).
For some time, there has been a debate about the safety of cell phones and smart meters due to high frequencies produced by these devices. Dr. Sam Milham speaks with Jason Hartman about his book, Dirty Electricity, and how anything that interrupts the flow of electricity causes dirty electricity. Dr. Milham contends that, based on his research, mortality rates increased as more and more residents of urban areas were joined to the electrical grid, including risks of cancer and diabetes. He shares some research, including an increase in cancer in a school, dairy cows not producing milk, and more that led to the discovery of high frequency electrical pollution that was causing an increase in a variety of problems and diseases. Not all electricity is dirty, but anything that produces high frequency waves, such as smart meters, certain appliances, cell phones, digital handheld phones, compact fluorescent lights, solar energy, WiFi, and more, contributes to higher rates of cancer and even obesity. Dr. Milham suggests ways to eliminate dirty electricity in the home. For more details, visit: www.HolisticSurvival.com. Dr. Milham is a specialist in occupational epidemiology and is known as the scientist who first alerted the world about the frightening link between occupational exposure to electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic pollution, and human disease. Dr. Milham is a graduate of Union College and Albany Medical College. He became a Senior Resident in Epidemiology at the New York State Department of Health in 1961 and then was a development consultant for the department. His experience includes Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Albany Medical College; Associate Professor, University of Hawaii School of Public Health and Medical School; Section Head, Epidemiology Section, Washington; Chronic Disease Epidemiologist, Washington State Department of Health, and more. He has received many awards and has written numerous articles on various medical issues. His mortality rate studies led to the writing of his book, Dirty Electricity, to alert people to the possibility of a looming epidemic of morbidity and mortality due to high frequency radiation, and what steps to take to reduce our exposure to dirty electricity.
Paul's website is www.awakeninthedream.com.
We have all had the experience of being taken advantage of at some point in our life. Con artists are often very friendly and charming. Jason Hartman is joined by author, Chris Hadnagy to discuss social engineering and framing, and how it relates to personal, business and national security issues. The discussion centers on Chris' book, Social Engineering: The Art of Human Hacking. Chris defines social engineering as “any act that influences a person to take an action that may or may not be in their best interest.” He talks about the most important aspects of human hacking, such as influence – establishing rapport and asking for someone's help. Other aspects include reciprocity, concessions and social proof. Chris also explains the process of framing. Our framing is our foundation, our beliefs and morals, and social engineers work to understand a person's framing, looking for common ground. To learn more about these types of social engineering, the positive and negative sides of them, visit www.HolisticSurvival.com.Chris Hadnagy, aka loganWHD, has been involved with computers and technology for over 14 years. Presently his focus is on the "human" aspect of technology such as social engineering and physical security. Chris has spent time in providing training in many topics around the globe and also has had many articles published in local, national and international magazines and journals.Chris is a student of Paul Ekman's training classes on Microexpressions and has spent time learning and educating others on the values of nonverbal communications. He has combined what he learned with years of experience in a new research he has called nonverbal human hacking used to influence other people's emotions. He is also the lead developer of Social-Engineer.Org, as well as the author of the best-selling book, Social Engineering: The Art of Human Hacking. He has launched a line of professional social engineering training and penetration testing services at www.Social-Engineer.Com. His goal is to help companies remain secure by educating them on the methods the "bad guys" use. Analyzing, studying, dissecting, then performing the very same attacks used by malicious hackers on some of the most recent attacks (i.e. Sony, HB Gary, LockHeed Martin, etc), Chris is able to help companies stay educated and secure.Chris runs one of the web's very popular security podcasts, the Social-Engineer.Org Podcast, which spends time each month analyzing someone who has to use influence and persuasion in their daily lives. By dissecting what they do, we can learn how we can enhance our abilities. That same analysis runs over to the equally popular SEORG Newsletter. After two years, both of these have become a staple in most serious security practices and are used by Fortune 500 companies around the world to educate their staff. Chris can be found online at www.social-engineer.org, www.social-engineer.com and twitter as @humanhacker.
