They discuss Andres's journey from aspiring doctor to nutrition expert, emphasizing the importance of preventing disease through nutrition. You can still accomplish a specific weight or fat loss goal, even if you feel like you're not dieting.Macro balance and calorie awareness are crucial for sustainable nutrition.Developing a skill to understand what goes into your body is essential.Flexibility in nutrition is the best way to sustain long-term health. You don't have to be a dietitian to have nutrition knowledge.Seasons of nutrition allow for adjustments based on lifestyle changes.Under-fueling can negatively impact metabolism and energy levels.Skipping meals often leads to overeating later in the day.Prioritizing movement is key to maintaining health.Modeling healthy behaviors is important for family nutrition leadership.Chapters 00:00 - Introduction to the Modern Man Podcast 00:54 - Meet Andres Ayesta: Nutrition and Performance Coach 02:16 - Andres's Journey: From Aspiring Doctor to Nutrition Expert 08:02 - The Importance of Preventing Disease Through Nutrition 14:05 - It's Never Too Late: Starting Your Health Journey 19:30 - The Concept of Diet Agnosticism 24:39 - Sustainable Nutrition vs. Temporary Diets 25:36 - Macro Balance and Calorie Awareness 30:51 - Seasons of Nutrition and Flexibility 35:22 - The Importance of Fueling and Meal Structure 40:23 - The Power Five: Key Nutrition Principles 44:44 - Nutritional Leadership and Modeling Behavior 48:12 - The Importance of Vulnerability and Mental HealthAyesta's Links Website: www.planosnutrition.comInstagram: @andresayestaLinkedIn: Andres AyestaYouTube: Planos NutritionFree eBook Here: Mastering Self-Development: Strategies of the New Masculine: https://rebrand.ly/m2ebook ⚔️JOIN THE NOBLE KNIGHTS MASTERMIND⚔️https://themodernmanpodcast.com/thenobleknights

When I saw this post from Self-Care Canvas (@selfcarecanvas) it of course came to me as so many people are showing themselves to be the exact opposite (multiple times a day) of this quote: “Be humble and never think you are better than anyone else. We all leave this world with nothing.” It's both sad to me and also amazing how so many don't get this simple, yet valuable point. I know / I believe that we do leave with the love & relationships that we had for others in our lifetime! We leave that behind for others too. Now, I also believe that the world has SO MANY examples of people living lives that are not humble, not serving others, not showing kindness & empathy, etc. So we have plenty of examples of what we don't want to be in life. We need to be the example for others as to a better way to live our lives. Again, sorry for getting fired up and emotional with this episode, but I'm beginning to see things with a bit more clarity every single day!! I hope this helps you to do the same. In this powerful episode, Rudi and Anniston Riekstins unpack the emerging paradigm shift around masculine and feminine energy. For too long, society has glorified hustle, control, and dominance—hallmarks of the old masculine. But there's a change happening. A collapse of the outdated masculine frequency is making space for a more integrated, intentional, heart-led model.Rudi shares his personal journey navigating this transformation—from high-performing hustle to a magnetic stillness rooted in presence and self-knowing. Anniston explains how divine feminine and masculine energies exist in all of us, regardless of gender, and how balancing the two leads to power, peace, and alignment.Whether you're a man seeking deeper purpose or a woman looking to understand the shift in energy around you, this episode will challenge, inspire, and empower you to evolve with grace. In this episode, you'll learn:Masculine and feminine energy exist in all of usThe old masculine is collapsing; the new is rooted in presence, stillness, and loveTrue leadership starts with emotional mastery and intentionalityCreating space is more powerful than dominating spaceYour frequency—your energetic state—is your greatest currencyIntegration of masculine/feminine energy leads to alignment and fulfillment
Sara Blakely is the founder of Spanx and opens up about believing in her products and trusting her gut. She created her revolutionary brand after identifying a problem in her wardrobe: what undergarments could she wear with white pants? Blakely's answer to that question started a shapewear revolution. She used the money she earned selling fax machines to launch her products, which soon started flying off the shelves of department stores and became a wardrobe staple for millions. She sold her majority stake in Spanx in 2021 after more than twenty years at the helm. Blakely opened up to Hoda on her journey to success, embracing failure, and trusting her intuition.

At the end of 2023, there was this phrase I kept hearing in my head on repeat. "It doesn't feel safe to slow down."I'd end my days feeling completely depleted mentally, physically, and emotionally. And yet I'd still push myself to do more. Sometimes it was work stuff, sometimes it was home stuff. But I had this constant, almost compulsive need to be doing something productive at all times. Rest felt elusive, like this thing other people could do, once they'd earned it. For me, rest basically just meant sleep. It was a quick reset so I could get up and do it all over again.Sound familiar? Let's figure out how we can unlearn that habit.-----Episode Mentioned: 314. I found a super strong & powerful post that got me fired up and it only has seven words to it. This came from the Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) “Strong people rarely have an easy past.” As I got to thinking about this, I started seeing myself in a way that I usually don't see myself at all. I realize I'm a lot stronger than I give myself credit for due to the “storms” I have been through. It also occurred to me that I am a lot stronger and better because of the storms that my loved ones have gone through as well. This episode I got a bit fired up and emotional (I know, big surprise… LOL) as I really started to see myself and my loved ones in not only a different light, but a much stronger & clearer light too!! I hope this episode shows you about the true statement from Morrie Schwartz, from Mitch Albom's “Tuesdays With Morrie” - where he reminded us that “death ends a life, not a relationship.” If we keep working on our relationships in life, and not what the world tells us is important, we will keep getting stronger for sure. Ever feel trapped in your own box? In this brutally honest episode, Mss Francois (the Multi-talented and Super Sexy powerhouse from Trinidad and Tobago) exposes the immigrant journey nobody talks about—being kicked to the curb with her belongings in garbage bags just months after arriving in America. She doesn't sugarcoat it: "It sucked. I hated it." But from those black trash bags emerged unfiltered wisdom on building success when nobody believes in you. Discover why strangers often lift you higher than your own family, why your phone contacts list might be sabotaging your future, and how to escape the perfection trap that's killing your progress. This isn't your typical "work hard and succeed" pep talk. It's a no-bullshit conversation about recognizing when fear of success is more paralyzing than fear of failure, why your team doesn't need to be physically near you to change your life, and how humor can literally heal your body while building your confidence.Follow Mss Francois: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mss-francois-31350a1b3/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MssFrancois/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mss_francois/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mss_francois Twitter: https://x.com/Mss_Francois?s=09 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/TheMssFrancoisShow1As always we ask you to comment, DM, whatever it takes to have a conversation to help you take the next step in your journey, reach out on any platform!Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedinDISCLOSURE: Awards and rankings by third parties are not indicative of future performance or client investment success. There's an old story about two wolves—one filled with anger, fear, and doubt; the other with love, hope, and gratitude. They live inside each of us, battling for our attention. Which one wins? The one you feed. In this episode, we explore how our daily choices—especially in moments of stress, uncertainty, or hardship—shape who we become. Do we feed the negativity that keeps us stuck, or the gratitude and curiosity that open our hearts and expand our lives? Listen to this podcast as an invitation to choose the thoughts, habits, and perspectives that help you grow—so you can meet whatever comes your way with more strength, openness, and possibility. WOW.. this one hit me hard… right in the heart. It came from liminal (@Liminal1988) and it's a note that is titled “Dear Younger Me.” It starts out “You didn't know many things. You didn't know how life would turn out, or why certain things were happening to you. And that's ok….” and the last couple of lines “.... You're still learning, still healing. There's always something good in you. There was always something special about you. Then, and even now.” This got me thinking about my younger self and how that part of me (all the parts of my younger self) is still with me. The saying of how our past is our best mentor still rings true. I think it becomes even more valuable and special, when we are able to connect it to the memories, feelings, emotions, etc., of our younger self(s). Make sure you look this one up & take it to heart to make changes that you can connect with for your life! Thanks for listening. This post hit home with me simply because I think we need more people pulling for others rather than hoping that others lose or have troubles. I'm certainly trying to follow what the Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) shares here with this: “Call me crazy but I love to see people happy and succeeding. Life is a journey, not a competition.” To me, this is a good kind of “crazy” to be - encouraging others to win in life compared to being a critic and wanting others to lose. The world needs more people to look at celebrating others, instead of criticizing people. Thanks for listening. Found a great post from Inspiration & More (@LifeWithJohn) where we were reminded that we always need to “Always remember that there is a strength within you that is greater than any storm.” Since we all face storms, this is something we all need to remember - we have been through tough times & we will continue to go through them. Since again, our Past is our best mentor, we can lean on those experiences that we have been through. As I thought about this more and more, I felt better about the storms that I have been through. Also remember that the storms never last!! Thanks for listening.
