Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Director of Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard visited the border near the Del Rio crossing. The good news is apprehensions from December 18th, 2024, near the end of Biden's term were 3670 and today just 43. The bad news is there is still a lot of work to do to fully secure our border including getting legislation passed so President Trump's action cannot be undone. Democrats made a fool of themselves in front of the president during his speech and have taken a shellacking online. Memes, clips and videos are going viral, Pelosi's scowl, Jasmine Crockett's hideous recreation of Kendrick Lamar's song and the most embarrassing of all the "Pick Your Fighter" video that Democrats created and actually posted. President Trump could literally cure cancer and not a single Democrat would clap. Their petty, childlike buffoonery knows no bounds. Bill O'Reilly joins me on today's show to discuss how President Trump is faring as well as his likes and dislikes about the administration. Philippians 4:4-6 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything In 2019, TWO out of THREE Americans said they were anxious or extremely anxious. 91% of high school and college students report consistent and significant levels of ANXIETY associated with stress. Anxiety isn't SIN, it is a SIGNAL. 1. It's time to PRAY. 2 Chronicles 20:3 NLT Jehoshaphat was terrified by this news and begged the LORD for guidance. He also ordered everyone in Judah to begin fasting. 2 Chronicles 20:6,9 LORD, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. ... 9 ‘If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.' “It has been found that 12 MINUTES of daily focused prayer over an 8-week period can change the brain to such an extent that it can be measured on a brain scan.” —Dr. Caroline Leaf Not only does prayer touch the HEART of God, but prayer changes the CHEMISTRY of your brain. merimnao: DWELLING or PONDERING on fearful or anxious thoughts 2 Chronicles 20:12 For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you. I Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. If it's on your MIND, it's on His HEART. 2. It's time to PAUSE. 2 Chronicles 20:12-13 “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the LORD. Psalm 46:10 …Be still, and know that I am God. 2 Chronicles 20:15,17 Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. 17 Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you. 3. It's time to PRAISE. 2 Chronicles 20:29-30 The fear of God came on all the surrounding kingdoms when they heard how the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel. And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side. Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

AP correspondent Jackie Quinn reports on United States Mideast US Deaths
Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich went to court in Moscow this week, to request his pre-trial detention be under house arrest, rather than jail. No surprise, he was denied. He's the latest American to be picked up and thrown behind bars by a foreign government – a trend on the rise, according to the James Foley Foundation, and it's breaking families apart. Three Americans detained in Iran are desperate to be freed, so much so, one of them – Siamak Namazi, made the bold decision to call this program from Evin Prison, and plead with President Biden to help free them all. But weeks pass, and there they remain, hostage to the political winds. Siamak's brother Babak has been working tirelessly for years to free him, and so has Tara Tahbaz on behalf of her father, Morad Tahbaz who is also detained there. The two of them spoke to Christiane alongside Jason Rezaian, who was imprisoned in Iran himself, before being released in a 2016 prisoner swap. Something isn't adding up. Gas prices as high as they've ever been but the price for a barrel of oil isn't anywhere near a record right now. SpaceX launched three rich businessmen and their astronaut escort to the International Space Station on Friday for more than a week's stay, as NASA joins Russia in hosting guests at the world's most expensive tourist destination. It's SpaceX's first private charter flight to the orbiting lab after two years of carrying astronauts there for NASA.Arriving at the space station Saturday are an American, a Canadian and an Israeli who run investment, real estate and other companies. They're paying $55 million apiece for the rocket ride and accommodations, all meals included.Russia has been hosting tourists at the space station — and before that the Mir station — for decades. Just last fall, a Russian movie crew flew up, followed by a Japanese fashion tycoon and his assistant.NASA is finally getting into the act, after years of opposing space station visitors.“It was a hell of a ride and we're looking forward to the next 10 days,” said former NASA astronaut and chaperone Michael Lopez-Alegria on reaching orbit. The visitors' tickets include access to all but the Russian portion of the space station — they'll need permission from the three cosmonauts on board. Three Americans and a German also live up there.Lopez-Alegria plans to avoid talking about politics and the war in Ukraine while he's at the space station.“I honestly think that it won't be awkward. I mean maybe a tiny bit,” he said. He expects the “spirit of collaboration will shine through.”The private Axiom Space company arranged the visit with NASA for its three paying customers: Larry Connor of Dayton, Ohio, who runs the Connor Group; Mark Pathy, founder and CEO of Montreal's Mavrik Corp.; and Israel's Eytan Stibbe, a former fighter pilot and founding partner of Vital Capital. Before the flight, their enthusiasm was obvious. Stibbe did a little dance when he arrived at the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center.SpaceX and NASA have been upfront with them about the risks of spaceflight, said Lopez-Alegria, who spent seven months at the space station 15 years ago.“There's no fuzz, I think, on what the dangers are or what the bad days could look like,” Lopez-Alegria told The Associated Press before the flight.NASA's Kathy Lueders, head of space operations, said there's a lot to learn from this first wholly private station visit. “But man, was this launch a great start,” she told reporters. Each visitor has a full slate of experiments to conduct during their stay, one reason they don't like to be called space tourists.“They're not up there to paste their nose on the window,” said Axiom's co-founder and president, Michael Suffredini, a former NASA space station program manager. The three businessmen are the latest to take advantage of the opening of space to those with deep pockets. Jeff Bezos' rocket company Blue Origin is taking customers on 10-minute rides to the edge of space, while Virgin Galactic expects to start flying customers on its rocket ship later this year.Friday‘s flight is the second private charter for Elon Musk's SpaceX, which took a billionaire and his guests on a three-day orbit ride last year. SpaceX's fifth flight of NASA astronauts to the station is coming up in just a couple weeks.Axiom is targeting next year for its second private flight to the space station. More customer trips will follow, with Axiom adding its own rooms to the orbiting complex beginning in 2024. After about five years, the company plans to detach its compartments to form a self-sustaining station — one of several commercial outposts intended to replace the space station once it's retired and NASA shifts to the moon.At an adjacent pad during Friday's launch: NASA's new moon rocket, which is awaiting completion of a dress rehearsal for a summertime test flight. As a gift for their seven station hosts, the four visitors are taking up paella and other Spanish cuisine prepared...See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Welcome to a very special episode of Divulgence to commemorate the 58thanniversary of the death of JFK, and the birth of the conspiracy theory culture and field of study as we know it today! To take a bite out of this subject, I, Jordan Vezeau, am joined by a wonderful group; Donald Jeffries (Hidden History, Don Jeffries Show), Graham Dunlop (Grimerica Podcast), Lynn-Philip Hodgson (Shots Fired, Inside Camp-X), Charlie Robinson (Hypocrazy, Macroaggressions Podcast), and Bruce de Torres (God, School, 9/11, and JFK, TrineDay Podcast) all stop by for this special episode about the mother of all conspiracies! We speculate on the new FBI documents and the trends of Presidents delaying release of documents in general. Another trend we get into is the wide range of instances too ridiculous to be true (but are true) that can be found within high trauma events like JFK or 9/11. Don shares some of the many interesting conversations he has had from a range of different JFK assassination characters or ‘players,' Lynn shares some very interesting personal stories, and I share one of my JFK relics from my collection of interests. Esoteric Dealey Plaza, weird Oswald facts, Ruth Paine, the ‘magic bullet,' L. Fletcher Prouty, JFK's brain, secret surgeries, body doubles, and a wide range of other topics are ripped through in this free-for-all of champions! **Being a brand-new podcast, all support is appreciated, any shape or form. That being said, I would highly appreciate a thumbs up on YouTube and PLEASE click ‘Subscribe'! If you are listening on Apple, a 5-star review would mean so much! I am already feeling the heat from YouTube, leading to manipulation of my view counters / proper thumbs up ratios, and a general disadvantage being a ‘new, little guy'' in the game. Three Americans own more wealth than the bottom half of the country combined. This month, we're discussing Eat the Rich, the radical anti-capitalist movement that aims to tackle this problem by redistributing income and wealth from the rich to the poor. We begin our month-long examination by tackling some key questions: what it means to "eat the rich," where this idea comes from, and what concrete demands rich-eaters are making. Spoiler alert: Kanye West's jacuzzi (or lack thereof) and Jim Carrey's mom might have something to do with it. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus a pandemic. And, after watching the slow tidal wave of infections, deaths, and fear consume most of Asia and Europe, Americans finally felt COVID’s impact at home. This totally unknown, novel virus took root, upending our lives. On this week’s episode of Next Question with Katie Couric, we recognize this sobering anniversary of a full year with the pandemic. Three Americans intimately involved with COVID-19 — an ER doctor, an epidemiologist, and a patient — share their experiences in those early, panic-stricken days and months of the spring 2020 to find out just how far we’ve come from and just how much we’ve learned about COVID-19, our healthcare system, science, and maybe even ourselves. Learn more about this week’s guests: Fiona Lowenstein, independent journalist and co-founder of the Body Politic Covid-19 support group. Dr. Jeremy Faust, emergency physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard medical school faculty and editor in chief of Brief19. Dr. Keri Althoff, associate professor of epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Related links: Sign up for the Body Politic Covid-19 Support Group here. On Thursday’s Mark Levin show, The extent to which the American media hates America and speaks with one progressive radical voice is troubling. The media says they are defending themselves under the first amendment when they go against President Trump and say they have never seen a President like this. But this wouldn’t have been possible without Barack Obama who actually targeted journalists. Obama abused the media and the freedom of the press more than any modern president and he’s celebrated by the media. Trump hasn’t done any of that and yet he’s said to threaten freedom of the press because he defends himself against the media attacks. When Hillary lost the election the media rose up and they want to remove Trump because he fights back; they want you to think he’s mentally unstable and moronic but he’s not. Also, Trump has handled the North Korean situation beautifully. Three Americans were released, the Navy is positioned and three aircrafts are positioned off the peninsula of Korea. We have economic sanctions in place – Trump is doing everything he can to protect us. Finally, the NFL was right to require players to stand and those that don’t should stand inside and not come back out. Shane Bauer, Josh Fattal and Sarah Shourd unknowingly walked across the Iranian border, were accused of espionage and thrown into solitary confinement. Their compelling memoir is "A Sliver of Light" and they speak tonight at Town Hall Seattle. Shane, Josh and Sarah describe their ordeal, dispell myths about solitary confinement in America and offer advice for international travelers.
In 2009, three American hikers (and UC Berkeley grads) hiking in Iraqi Kurdistan unknowingly crossed into Iran and were captured by a border patrol. Accused of espionage, they were incarcerated in Tehran’s infamous Evin Prison—Sarah, for fourteen months and Josh and Fattal, for two long years. This poignant memoir is their story, as told through a bold and innovative interweaving of the authors’ three voices that recounts the psychological torment of interrogation and the collective strength of will that kept them alive. *Click here to see photos from the program!
