This week on the KOKO Show we were left to our own devices to wander this expansive podcasting landscape in search of a couple of fart gags, cheap laughs and a little bit of footy. Without a guest to be the wind beneath our little wings, the lads found another gear that they didn't know they had. The boys decided in week 13 to throw Schmidt at the wall to see what would stick and boy did we tackle all the big stuff like the benefits of hybrid rugby players, The ANZAC Test and whether Australia or NZ make the best meat pies. Plus, we dove into a deep rabbit hole to cover the full slate of games in round thirteen of the Super Rugby, as well as a little preview of the European Champions Cup between Bordeaux and Leinster coming up in a few weeks time. Moreover, the boys indulged in a little segment we call ‘The Ditch Debate', unpacking all the great disagreements between the island nations of Australia and New Zealand. That is right, this little podcast has put to bed the once and for all the fates of such things as Brad Thorn, Phar Lap, the ANZAC biccy and the Flat White coffees. You are welcome! So sit back, relax and brew yourself a cup of joe because this episode has just popped a spicy cube and is all systems go. It is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. This week on the KOKO Show we are joined by Australian Rugby's version of ‘Good Will Hunting'. This bloke is ‘wicked smart', with two degrees from Cambridge University, a passion for art and his own clothing line, he really makes the rest of us feel like shit. So please put your hands together for everyone's favourite neanderthal turned nerd, Mr Angus Scott-Young. With Gussy in tow the lads delve into the tough times he had in pre-season, the form he is now showcasing for the Waratahs and what it is really like to be rugby's most eligible bachelor. Plus, the lads get their juices flowing with a little game centered around Philosophy, they play another round of teammate tinder and we get stuck into how the Waratahs can still make the finals. Finally, the boys get a little hot under the saddle blanket at the prospect of an ANZAC Day Bledisloe match up, we cover all the Super Round from round 12 and finish the show with what Angus Scott-Young would cook for Goit on a first date. So sit back, relax and undo the top button on those jeans. It is well and truly muffin top time, with an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. Dan Pearce is the CEO of TTG Media, and a fierce defender of smarter, better, fairer travel. Dan joins Jeannette to talk about the ever-increasing role of TTG Media and its crucial purpose, how he has transformed the company and what that process involved, and how discovering your own "why" can laser your focus and ensure that you remain relevant as a business in the future. KEY TAKEAWAYS TTG has been through several different iterations since its inception, but from 2019, the business went through an exhilarating change, by talking to many people about what it means to be a modern business for the future. Finding your "why" is crucial. If your why is to simply make money, you may find that it isn't quite enough of a purpose. Fairer travel is all about promoting an industry that is both fairer to the environment through issues around sustainability, and fairer to the people who work within. By taking a more diverse approach, we not only make ourselves more attractive to clients, but simply put, we do better business. BEST MOMENTS 'This is a great time to talk about our purpose as a business' 'You have to find your why' 'We talk a lot about diversity and inclusion, and help businesses to improve in that area' 'Ultimately, this is good for business' This is the perfect time to get focused on what YOU want to really achieve in your business, career, and life. Bl.a.
