Shaw & Co., which is a global investment firm with 37 billion dollars in investment capital. Do you make New Years Resolutions every year only to be disappointed when you can't keep them? Do you set goals that you don't achieve? It can be so disheartening and then what happens the rest of the year?I gave up making resolutions years ago because I always ended up feeling like a failure for not keeping them. We all have down days. We all have times where we just don't wanna...I couple years ago I decided to try something different. I started creating new habits after reading James Clear's "Atomic Habits". https://www.amazon.com/Atomic-Habits-Proven-Build-Break/dp/0735211299/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=I highly recommend reading this book. In this solo episode, I talk about a couple of examples of new habits I created that I still have in place. It takes a lot of the pressure off of having to keep resolutions, in my opinion. It's easier, more fun, and you feel like a success when they stick.As always, thank you so much for listening! As a result, many migrants feel overwhelmed by their move, often, even when that move is something they have dreamed of doing for decades.   To help you avoid finding yourself in this situation, Clare shares 5 short reflection exercises she has learned to do before moving to centre herself mentally and emotionally.
