The argument that authoritarian governments are better at dealing with the climate emergency is gaining ground, fuelled by the idea that undemocratic states face fewer constraints and so can operate more efficiently and effectively. Some are even arguing that this isn't just a necessary evil but a legitimate policy response to pending environmental catastrophe. Yet the data suggests that on average authoritarian governments do not perform better, and on many measures actually do worse than democracies. So why does this idea persist? Join Nic Cheeseman as he talks to Nomi Claire Lazar and Jeremy Wallace about their new article on Resisting the Authoritarian Temptation. Why is democracy not delivering? Why is authoritarianism not the answer? And what new models exist that can be used to deliver a greener and more inclusive future? This podcast is part of our regular collaboration with the Journal of Democracy. Guest: Nomi Claire Lazar is a Professor of Politics in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. Her work looks at crises from a range of perspectives, including emergency powers, constitutional legitimacy and climate politics. Author of the books States of Emergency in Liberal Democracies (Cambridge 2009) & Out of Joint: Power, Crisis and the Rhetoric of Time (Yale, 2019), Nomi currently co-leads the British Academy's Global Convening Programme, “The Times of a Just Transition.” She served in 2022-23 on the Rouleau Commission investigating the Federal Government's use of the Emergencies Act in the trucker convoy crisis, and in 2024 was appointed by Justice Marie-Josée Hogue to Canada's Foreign Interference Commission. She is at work on a book on apocalyptic politics, and is a frequent contributor of commentary to news outlets around the world. Jeremy Wallace is the A. Doak Barnett Professor of China Studies at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He researches the political economy of China's decarbonization, including the book Phenomenal World which investigated the carbon implications of its growth model for land, finance, and real estate. Jeremy has also written on a wide range of issues relating to cities, climate change, environmental information flows, and social media. He is also an editor at Good Authority and writes the China Lab newsletter, and his latest book is Seeking Truth and Hiding Facts: Information, Ideology, and Authoritarianism in China. Presenter: Dr Nic Cheeseman is the Professor of Democracy and International Development at the University of Birmingham and Founding Director of CEDAR. How Can I Lower My Triglycerides? “Going to the doctor for your fasting lipid panel results can be an exercise in confusion. You will get numbers for your total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol (“unhealthy” cholesterol), HDL cholesterol (“healthy” cholesterol), and triglycerides. Although the major emphasis in treating abnormal lipid panel results focuses on getting LDL cholesterol below a certain level, your doctor might also make recommendations about your HDL and triglycerides.” Listen to today's episode for details, written by Thomas Campbell, MD at NutritionStudies.org #vegan #plantbased #plantbasedbriefing #lipid #triglycerides #cholesterol #cvd #cardiovasculardisease #lipidpanel ======================== Original post: https://nutritionstudies.org/lower-triglycerides/ ========================== Related Episodes: 861: Eat Quinoa and Lower Triglycerides? https://plantbasedbriefing.libsyn.com/861-eat-quinoa-and-lower-triglycerides-by-dr-michael-greger-at-nutritionfactsorg Related Episodes: use search feature at https://www.plantbasedbriefing.com/episodes-search Search for cholesterol, heart disease ========================= The T. US President Donald Trump's sweeping tariffs and tariff threats are inflicting significant disruptions on international trade. Allianz Global Investors has warned that Trump's ‘liberation day' announcement will shave at least 1% off global economic output.China is the central target of Trump's tariff war. Faced with US tariffs, China is sending a message that it stands firm against bullying practices, and that it remains a strong supporter of globalization.Amid turbulence caused by Trump's trade war, to what extent can China maintain stability in global trade? Host Ding Heng is joined by Peter Chang, Former Deputy Director of University of Malaya's Institute of China Studies and Research Associate of Malaysia-China Friendship Association; Frank Liu, Associate Professor at the Business School, University of Western Australia; Einar Tangen, Senior Fellow of Taihe Institute.
China's patent applications have surpassed every other country for over a decade and the speed with which technology out of China impresses the world has picked up in the last few years. Its factories churn out cutting-edge electric vehicles packed with futuristic features – so advanced that European carmakers are now partnering with Chinese firms to gain access to their technology. A complete reversal of the old playbook. In renewable energy and green tech, China has leapfrogged to become the world leader in both production and innovation. Then came the DeepSeek moment: an AI breakthrough from a little-known Chinese company, proving that China can build models on par with America's best – at a fraction of the cost. And all this despite restrictions on high-tech imports from the West. Time and again, China's innovations catch businesses, governments, and analysts in Europe and the U.S. off guard. With massive investments in quantum computing, biotech, and nuclear technology, what's next?On April 7, we hosted an Oxford Debate LIVE on the motion: Innovation Made in China Will Change the World. Hear clear-cut arguments in support and against from:James Kynge, a writer on Chinese technology, the economy and geopolitics, who spent 28 years reporting on China for the Financial Times.John Lee, 2025 TOY Senior Fellow at Asia Society Switzerland and Director of East West Futures, a consultancy specializing in China's high-tech industries, political economy, military capabilities, and international diplomacy.Antonia Hmaidi, Senior Analyst at the Mercator Institute for China Studies in Berlin, working on the geopolitics of technology, China's pursuit of tech self-reliance, China's cybersecurity and hacking campaigns.Yuka Kobayashi, a British Academy Global Innovation Fellow in DGAP's Center for Geopolitics, Geoeconomics, and Technology. She is on leave from SOAS, University of London where she is senior lecturer of China and international politics. The full debate, including a conversation in which the debaters delve deeper into their arguments, is available to watch on Asia Society's YouTube channel here.Stay up-to-date on all events and activities at Asia Society Switzerland: subscribe to the newsletter and support our work by becoming a member.-STATE OF ASIA is a podcast from Asia Society Switzerland. We are thrilled to bring you the next episode of our monthlyspecial in cooperation with the Journal of Democracy. In the framework of this new partnership, our editors discuss outstanding articles from the newest print issue of the journal with their authors. In this conversation with Nomi Lazar, Professor of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa, and Jeremy Wallace, Professor of China Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, we engagewith their spirited defense of democracy in the face of calls for the deployment of emergency powers to come up with solutions to the worsening climate crisis. Nomi and Jeremy highlight the pitfalls of emergency legislation and spell out the key resources that in their view democracies andonly democracies bring to the table in the combat to prevent climate breakdown. The conversation also touches on China's impressive climate record, the shortcomings of liberal democratic government, the need for more egalitarian forms of democracy, and some of the ways in which well-designed emergency legislation could still prove useful. The conversation is based on their joint article, “Resisting the Authoritarian Temptation,” published in the January 2025 (36/1) issue of the Journal of Democracy.

Healthcare vs Disease Response System – Part 1 “If ours were a functional system that prioritized health care, many of the challenges associated with the cost of health care would immediately improve. In such a functional system, nutrition would be a top priority and the burden of related diseases would be substantially lessened. Instead, we have a disease response system characterized by 1) heavy reliance on pharmaceutical technology and 2) reactivity rather than proactivity.” Listen to today's episode for details, written by Nelson Huber-Disla & T. Beverly Grandison, from Infinity Empowerment, discusses how to get the BEST health with science-backed and data-driven information. Beverly Grandison's presentation at Legacy Day emphasizes proactive health management and community empowerment. She shares her personal health journey overcoming multiple sclerosis through holistic methods, advocating for food as medicine and the importance of mental and spiritual well-being. Grandison stresses the significance of lifestyle changes—nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and intermittent fasting—to combat lifestyle diseases and improve overall health outcomes. The presentation also addresses disparities in health within the Black community, urging a shift from hereditary beliefs about diseases towards embracing healthier habits and choices. This week: Part 2 in a series of podcasts in conjunction with the China Research Center at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). The series, titled "Studying China in the Absence of Access: Rediscovering a Lost Art," ran from September to November 2021, and featured four eminent "Pekingologists," or specialists in Chinese elite politics: Joseph Fewsmith, Thomas Fingar, Alice Miller, and Fred Teiwes. The talks were later published in a volume you can download here. The series is introduced by Andrew Mertha, George and Sadie Hyman, Professor of China Studies and director of the SAIS China Research Center, and each lecture includes a moderated discussion with Andy. After this series, I'll also be sharing with you a second series of lectures titled "Studying China from Elsewhere," which will include talks by Maria Repnikova, Mike Lampton, William Hurst, and Maggie Lewis — many of whom Sinica listeners will know from the show.Alice Lyman Miller is a leading scholar of Chinese politics and foreign policy. A research fellow at the Hoover Institution and lecturer in East Asian Studies at Stanford University, she previously served as an analyst at the CIA and editor of China Leadership Monitor. Miller's work has been instrumental in decoding the opaque world of Chinese elite politics, with a particular focus on political discourse and leadership transitions. Her major publications include Becoming Asia: Change and Continuity in Asian International Relations Since World War II (2011).Joseph Fewsmith is one of the foremost experts on contemporary Chinese politics, known for his in-depth analysis of political reform, elite competition, and policy shifts under the Chinese Communist Party. A professor of international relations and political science at Boston University, Fewsmith has authored seminal books such as China Since Tiananmen: The Politics of Transition (2001) and Rethinking Chinese Politics (2021), which challenge conventional wisdom on China's political system. His work blends rigorous historical analysis with close readings of official discourse. What is the best diet for someone with diabetes? Dr. Thomas Campbell shares his research comparing the DASH Diet and a whole food plant-based diet. Their effects on insulin resistance and blood sugar levels are then examined. Although both diets showed improvement, the participants experienced superior results while eating the WFPB diet. Dr. Campbell explains why when he joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll on The Exam Room Podcast. In the Interview: Plant-Based Diet for Diabetes Management: The interview emphasizes the effectiveness of a whole food plant-based diet in managing diabetes, contrasting it with other dietary approaches like the keto diet, which merely suppresses symptoms rather than addressing underlying issues. Influence of Family Legacy: Dr. Campbell reflects on the profound influence of his father, Dr. T. Colin Campbell who co-authored The China Study, on his career choice in medicine, emphasizing that his motivation stemmed from passion rather than pressure. Challenges in Medical Nutrition Education: He highlights a significant gap in knowledge among medical professionals regarding diet and its effects on health, particularly in treating conditions like heart disease and diabetes. Social Norms and Health: Dr. Campbell discusses how social norms contribute to unhealthy eating habits, making it difficult for individuals to change their diets despite knowing the health risks associated with poor nutrition. Patient Education and Openness: Dr. Campbell stresses the importance of patient openness to dietary changes and the need for healthcare providers to engage in meaningful conversations rather than overwhelming patients with information. Episode Summary: In this episode, Heather “Lucky” Penney discusses the latest Chinese security developments with Mitchell Institute Senior Fellow Mike Dahm. Whether discussing the creation of a new service branch focused on space—the PLA's Aerospace Force; continued development of their nuclear arsenal; or the “Christmas surprise” flight of multiple new combat aircraft—2024 was a busy and consequential one for the Chinese defense establishment. We explore these developments, take a look at what might transpire in 2025, and consider how this should factor into U.S. defense decision making. The Psychological Toll of Living with Preventable Disease Although we all know on some level that the state of health in the US is not in a good place, it can be difficult to quantify exactly what that looks like. There are multiple layers of failure, and some are more immediately apparent than others. The physical challenges of living with disease are the most obvious. The financial repercussions are also widely accepted; most people know that our healthcare system is overburdened, if not outright broken, and that medical expenses are a top cause of bankruptcy. However, not enough is said about how all of this generally relates to our psychological health. Listen to today's episode for details, written by Nelson Huber-Disla at NutritionStudies.org #vegan #plantbased #plantbasedbriefing #chronicdisease #healthcare #sickcare ======================== Original post: https://nutritionstudies.org/the-psychological-toll-of-living-with-preventable-disease/ ======================= The T. Disclaimer: This podcast does not provide medical advice. The content of this podcast is provided for informational or educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for informed medical advice or care. You should not use this information to diagnose or treat any health issue without consulting your doctor. Always seek medical advice before making any lifestyle changes. T. Colin Campbell, PhD has been dedicated to the science of human health for more than 60 years. His primary focus is on the association between diet and disease, particularly cancer. Although largely known for the China Study--one of the most comprehensive studies of health and nutrition ever conducted, and recognized by The New York Times as the “Grand Prix of epidemiology”--Dr. Campbell's profound impact also includes extensive involvement in education, public policy, and laboratory research. Dr. Campbell grew up on a dairy farm and was the first in his family to go to college, where he studied pre-veterinary medicine at Pennsylvania State University. After obtaining his bachelor's degree, and while completing his first year at the University of Georgia veterinary school, he received a telegram from a well known professor at Cornell University, offering a scholarship and research opportunity too good to turn down. And so he completed his education at Cornell University (M.S., Ph.D.) and MIT (Research Associate) in nutrition, biochemistry and toxicology. He then spent 10 years on the faculty of Virginia Tech's Department of Biochemistry and Nutrition before returning to Cornell in 1975 where he presently holds his Endowed Chair as the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry in the Division of Nutritional Sciences. Dr. Campbell's research experience includes both laboratory experiments and large-scale human studies. He has received over 70 grant-years of peer-reviewed research funding (mostly with NIH), served on grant review panels of multiple funding agencies, actively participated in the development of national and international nutrition policy, and authored over 350 research papers, most published in peer-reviewed science journals. Throughout his career, he has confronted a great deal of confusion surrounding nutrition and its effects. It is precisely this confusion that he has focused so much on, in recent years. In order to synthesize the findings of his long and rewarding career, and to give back to the public whose lives are threatened by rampant misinformation and special interests, Dr. Campbell co-wrote The China Study: Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-term Health (2005, 2016), which has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 50 foreign languages. He is also the author of the The New York Times bestseller Whole (2013), The Low Carb Fraud (2013), and The Future of Nutrition. An Insider's Look at the Science, Why We Keep Getting It Wrong and How to Start Getting It Right (2020). Several documentary films feature Dr. Campbell and his research, including Forks Over Knives, Eating You Alive, Food Matters, and PlantPure Nation. He continues to share evidence-based information on health and nutrition whenever given the opportunity. He has delivered hundreds of lectures around the world and he is the founder of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and the online Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate powered by eCornell.
What Can I Eat to Help Fight Depression and Anxiety? Good gut bacteria kill disease-producing cells, synthesize vitamins, affect hormone activities, and help break down food. This week, I bring you the first in a series of podcasts in conjunction with the China Research Center at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). After this series, I'll also be sharing with you a second series of lectures titled "Studying China from Elsewhere," which will include talks by Maria Repnikova, Mike Lampton, William Hurst, and Maggie Lewis — many of whom Sinica listeners will know from the show. This week's talk is from FrederickTeiwes, truly a legend in the field. The American-born Australian sinologist is best known for his analysis of Chinese Communist Party elite politics. He served as a professor emeritus in Government and International Relations at the University of Sydney until his retirement in 2006. Teiwes has frequently collaborated with Warren Sun, producing seminal works such as The Tragedy of Lin Biao (1996) and China's Road to Disaster: Mao, Central Politicians and Provincial Leaders in the Great Leap Forward, 1955-59 (1999). In this talk, he focuses on forthcoming work on the transition following Mao Zedong's death in 1976.Great thanks to Andy and to Hasta Colman, who first suggested this collaboration when we met in Shanghai recently.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Dr. Laurie Marbas, a board-certified physician in both family and lifestyle medicine, initially trained in a traditional medical setting before her practice and perspective evolved toward integrating plant-based nutrition into her medical approach. Her journey toward plant-based medicine began serendipitously after a patient in Rifle, Colorado, shared remarkable health improvements following dietary changes. Intrigued by her patient's experience with eliminating meat and dairy, Dr. Marbas began researching plant-based diets, eventually encountering The China Study, a pivotal moment that deepened her commitment to using diet as a preventive measure in healthcare. Impact of Plant-Based Diet on Chronic Illness Dr. Marbas shares compelling stories from her practice, including patients with serious autoimmune conditions like lupus. She describes the transformative impact of plant-based diets, exemplified by a lupus patient who saw significant health improvements, including weight loss, reduced inflammation, and a notable decrease in medication dependence. For Dr. Marbas, the results in her patients reinforced the power of nutrition, convincing her to adopt a fully plant-based approach in both her personal and professional life. Implementing Plant-Based Programs in Hospitals In collaboration with colleagues and plant-based chefs, Dr. Marbas implemented a study in Colorado's Grand River Hospital to test the effects of plant-based meals on hospital employees. Over 30 days, the program yielded promising results, including weight loss and a decrease in pre-diabetic conditions. This experience highlighted the potential for plant-based interventions within healthcare settings, extending beyond patient care to improve employee wellness. Founding of the Plantrition Project and Plant-Based Telehealth A visionary in plant-based medicine, Dr. Marbas co-founded Plant-Based Telehealth, a virtual medical service focused on plant-based health and wellness. After a successful start, Plant-Based Telehealth was sold to Whole Foods founder John Mackey in 2022. Dr. Marbas' involvement in the Plantrition Project, an organization dedicated to educating healthcare professionals on plant-based nutrition, further solidified her commitment to expanding the reach of nutrition-based preventive medicine. Episode Summary: In this Aerospace Advantage episode, Heather “Lucky” Penney continues the electronic attack conversation with Dave Harrold and Duane Beaulieu of BAE, plus Mitchell Institute's Mike Dahm. Electronic Attack is an essential twenty-first century mission capability. The ability to disrupt enemy command, control, communications, radars, and navigation systems allows U.S. forces to maintain a decision advantage, while denying one to the adversary. It all comes down to maintaining a leading electromagnetic-based battlespace capability. The Compass Call system, currently hosted on the EC-130H, executes this mission. It will soon migrate to the EA-37B. We explore this transition by discussing where the mission has been and where it's going from a technical perspective. We also explain what it means to secure an electronic attack advantage in the modern era and why this is imperative. Learn more about this crucial mission from the experts developing the essential technology. The rollbacks are coming. Donald Trump's incoming administration is expected to pull the United States out of the Paris Agreement, weaken the Environmental Protection Agency's rules for power plants and tailpipe pollution, and — potentially — rewrite or repeal big swaths of the Inflation Reduction Act. Each of those actions would seem to provide an opening for the world's No. 1 polluter — China — to assert global leadership and zip ahead in the next generation of clean energy technology. How will it respond? On this week's episode of Shift Key, Rob and Jesse chat with Jeremy Wallace, the A. Doak Barnett Professor of China Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Wallace, a Heatmap contributor, helps us understand how China is thinking about Trump, the current state of China's economy, and why China sometimes flexes its climate leadership — but just as often doesn't. Shift Key is hosted by Robinson Meyer, the founding executive editor of Heatmap, and Jesse Jenkins, a professor of energy systems engineering at Princeton University.Mentioned: Jeremy Wallace on how China will respond to U.S. reversalsJeremy's writing on China, clean energy, and tradeRob on how the Biden administration thought about China and clean energy The Draghi report: EU competitiveness: Looking ahead--This episode of Shift Key is sponsored by …Watershed's climate data engine helps companies measure and reduce their emissions, turning the data they already have into an audit-ready carbon footprint backed by the latest climate science. Jeremy Hurewitz spent the first decade of his career overseas building the media association Project Syndicate while based out of Prague and Shanghai. He spearheaded a business development strategy that saw the association grow from a few dozen member newspapers in mostly Eastern Europe, to a truly global association of over 300 newspapers in over 100 countries. When returning to the US, Jeremy worked for several well-known global consulting firms in the world of corporate security. These companies are staffed by former intelligence officers and Jeremy worked closely with these former spies. In addition to former spies, his colleagues included former members of the FBI and the law enforcement community, the Secret Service, the military, the State Department, and other government agencies. Jeremy learned unique and impactful skills from all these former government employees, and he began utilizing the methods he picked up. Jeremy has synthesized these lessons from government service into the Sell Like a Spy program and works with clients to share these strategies to help them improve their ability to connect with targets, develop creative approaches to close deals, and overcome challenges. This week on Sinica, I chat with Jessica Chen Weiss, until recently at Cornell University but now the David M. Lampton Professor of China Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, SAIS, in Washington D.C. Jessica, to those of you familiar with her work, has been at the forefront of the fight for a less strident, diplomacy-first approach to China, balancing deterrence with assurances to find a modus vivendi with China. She has challenged prevailing notions about China's intentions, and has called for the U.S. to advance an affirmative vision of how it wants to live in the world with China. We focus in this conversation about a recent piece in Foreign Affairs in which she challenges both the solidity and the logic of the "bipartisan consensus" on China, and holds out hope that a next administration might approach the relationship differently.3:45 – How Jessica has settled into D.C.; her professorial namesake; and how she has become a leading voice for a less confrontational approach to China9:30 – Where Jessica sees diverging views on China in the Republican and Democratic Parties 12:41 – What a more durable basis for coexistence should look like14:46 – Credible deterrence and strategic ambiguity in the context of Taiwan 16:03 – Acknowledgements to limits on American power and the importance of being realistic 18:09 – Assurances on Taiwan and what threatens their credibility 21:13 – The question of engagement and the deterrent effect of economic integration25:30 – How the U.S. can combat legitimate national security threats from China without undermining its own values, and the importance of not treating the Chinese in diaspora as a fifth column 31:31 – Electoral politics: the importance of welcoming and inclusive policies and creating space for debate and discernment35:07 – The importance of testing our assumptions 38:30 – What another Trump presidency might look like 40:30 – How a Harris administration might differ from the Biden administration44:13 – The U.S. and China-Russia relationsRecommendations:Jessica: Valarie Kaur's Sage Warrior: Wake to Oneness, Practice Pleasure, Choose Courage, Become Victory Kaiser: BeaGo, an AI-powered search tool (download from your app store!)See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Dr. Kim Scheuer is a dynamic plant-based telehealth physician and a passionate advocate for lifestyle medicine. Affectionately known as "Dr. Kale" by her patients, she shares her remarkable journey from a traditional family physician to embracing a plant-based lifestyle after navigating her own health challenges and witnessing the impact of nutrition on diseases. In 2011, Dr. Kim Scheuer was a burned out family physician caught in the same grind of many physicians – long hours, diminishing patient care, and running on the hamster wheel of the “healthcare” system. It was also around this time that Kim realized she was just one-year shy of the age her mother was when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Determined not to walk this path, she started doing her research and what she found both astonished and angered her. Of course, she found The China Study, Forks over Knives, and other resources, but how had she not learned any of this information in medical school??! How was she not familiar with the work of Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Fuhrman, Dr. McDougall, or Dr. Esselstyn? It didn't take long for this self-proclaimed “Milky Way vegetarian” and food addict to radically overhaul her own lifestyle and, ultimately, her medical practice. Today, she's a plant-based telehealth physician with Love.Life Telehealth and she's also board certified in Lifestyle Medicine. She works with patients in 25 states with general health and wellness, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, blood pressure, cholesterol control, cancer prevention and food addiction. Today, you'll hear about her very personal journey, her passion for growing her own food, her connection to nature and her very personal “why” she needed to be plantstrong.Episode WebpageWatch the Episode on YouTube
Eric Soelberg was a high school athlete-turned-young husband and father and, like many on the family, marriage, and career track, he lost sight of himself and his own health. Food became an escape and a way to numb, and in this episode, Soelberg vulnerably shares some of those moments when he realized he had fallen into unhealthy eating behaviors and addiction. Not only was he hiding food, but he was visiting fast food drive-thrus multiple times in a day – feeling the shame, but also satisfying the cravings.Yes, he watched Forks over Knives and read the China Study – and it all made sense – but as we know all too well, having the information and making lasting change are two different things. It wasn't until 2021 when he started feeling neuropathy and tingling in his toes and fingers that something clicked. He was 260lbs. Driven by a newfound commitment to health, Eric sought guidance and he shares his recipes for regaining his health and life. Whole plant-based food is the grounding element, but it's about so much more for him now, including education, community, and daily self-reflection. Eric may be your (self-proclaimed) “average guy,” but you'll find him anything but…Upcoming Events:Register for Plant-Stock August 16th-18th, 2024: https://liveplantstrong.com/ Sedona Retreat - October 8th-13th, 2024 https://plantstrongfoods.com/pages/2024-sedona-retreat COMPLEMENT: Use code PLANTSTRONG for 30% off at https://lovecomplement.com/pages/plantstrong-special-offer Leave Us a Voicemail QuestionLeave us a voicemail: https://www.speakpipe.com/plantstrong Follow PLANTSTRONG and Rip Esselstynhttps://plantstrongfoods.com/ https://www.facebook.com/GoPlantstrong https://www.instagram.com/goplantstrong/https://www.instagram.com/ripesselstyn/ Let Us Help Your PLANTSTRONG JourneyUse Code: PSSUMMER20 for $20 off Annual Subscription at https://home.mealplanner.plantstrong.com/ https://myplantstrong.com/b/trailblazer Follow the PLANTSTRONG Podcast and Give the Show a 5-star RatingApple PodcastsSpotifyTheme Music for Episodehttps://app.soundstripe.com/songs/10845
