In this episode, Pastor Lester Holland delivers a powerful reminder that God is not just a distant figure in heaven—He is your Father, and He is forever good. Too often, we forget how deeply personal God's love is. He doesn't just care about the crowd—He cares about you. He hasn't forgotten you. You are valuable, not because of what you've done, but because He loves you. Pastor Lester challenges the mindset of using people to get things and calls us back to God's original design—love people, use things, and prioritise real relationships, starting with your daily fellowship with the Father. Tune in and be encouraged by the truth that your Heavenly Father will never leave you, never forsake you, and will always love you. He is, and always will be, forever a good Father. Ricky, Bruno, and Bonnie bring in the New Year and share their hopes for 2024 and LHM.
Happy New Year from the Meet St Louis Podcast. We can't wait to continue sharing the stories behind the places you love in our region. It's a new year, and there's so much to look forward to. Including the opening of new spots around town. This week we sat down with Steven O'Loughlin, the president of Lodging Hospitality Management. LHM is the team behind many of your favorite spots in St. Louis and they're expanding west. The company was behind the revamp and restoration of St Louis Union Station – bringing the aquarium and The Wheel and soon a few new attractions. They brought you 360 in Downtown and The Soda Fountain, and now both of those concepts will expand to Westport Plaza in Maryland Heights. We sat down with Steve to talk about the expansions and take us back to the beginning of his hospitality career, which started at Stouffers, a name many in St. Louis might recall and know now as the vacant Millennium Hotel. He's been in the hotel and restaurant industry for decades and shares the ins and outs in this week's episode. The new Soda Fountain at Westport is now open, and the new 360 is expected to open later this month.
Merry Christmas from LHM and we hope your year end has been blessed!

E3 Lithium CEO Chris Doorbos joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news regarding a major milestone achieved by the company. E3 Lithium has successfully produced battery-quality Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate (LHM) with a purity level of 99.78%. The process to produce LHM begins with the purification and concentration of lithium concentrate obtained through Direct Lithium Extraction, which leads to the production of lithium carbonate. The purity of the solid LHM is a critical factor for the sale of the product to the battery industry. Generally, a purity level greater than 99.5% is accepted as battery quality. E3 Lithium is actively collaborating with major equipment vendors to develop the downstream refining processes required for a commercial facility. The lithium concentrate produced from the DLE field pilot plant operations will be used for ongoing development and testing of this refining process. Additionally, the company will continue its engineering work to support the completion of a Pre-Feasibility Study on the Clearwater Project. This significant achievement in producing battery-quality LHM underscores E3 Lithium's commitment to advancing its lithium production capabilities and supplying high-purity lithium products to the growing battery industry. The successful production of LHM positions the company as a key player in the lithium sector, with the potential to contribute to the clean energy transition. In summary, under the leadership of CEO Chris Doorbos, E3 Lithium has achieved a major milestone by successfully producing high-purity battery-quality Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate. This accomplishment aligns with the company's goal of becoming a leading supplier of lithium products to meet the increasing demand driven by the electric vehicle and clean energy sectors. #proactiveinvestors #e3lithiumltd #tsxv #etl #etl #otcqx #eemmf #LithiumProduction #CEOInterview #LithiumResources #BatteryGradeLithium #CleanEnergy #RenewableResources #AlbertaEnergy #LithiumSupply #NorthAmericanLithium #BatteryTechnology #E3LithiumCEO #LithiumMining #EconomicGrowth #SustainableEnergy #MiningIndustry #LithiumInnovation #GreenTech #EcoFriendlySolutions #EnergyTransition #MineralResources #SustainabilityGoals #CleanTech #ResourceExtraction #EnvironmentallyFriendly#invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Ricky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/ Pre-Law, A Master of Arts in Religious Education, is an ordained minister, and has taught at seminaries, colleges, and universities. While serving as executive director, Ricky concurrently serves on the pastoral staff at First Baptist Church, Arlington, TX as an ordained pastor. Over his more than thirty years in ministry, Ricky has vast experience speaking to and journeying with thousands of men, women, and friends and family of those struggling with gender and identity confusion. Ricky enjoys traveling, cooking, painting, writing, reading, and seeing people's lives transformed by Jesus. His real passions are teaching the word of God, serving the church and her people, and hosting folks at his house for his personally prepared gourmet meals. Ricky was joyously married for thirty years to the late Merlinda Allen Chelette, who went to be with the Lord in April 2019. Parents of boys - what things do they need to know? Ricky - we are having a big crisis of masculinity and the demonization of men - “toxic masculinity” - reality is that there are “toxic” men, but as Christians we need to raise our young boys into godly men - men who know how to work hard, treat others well, serve their community, and love their Lord. Ricky - go back to the Word of God for instruction. Genesis begins with God giving men work to do and that's an important place for men to begin - work gives men meaning and significance…and helps out the community at the same time! Men were also given the task to speak truth into chaos and give that chaos an identity and direction. So important for fathers to do this with their children - to speak truth into their life and give them identity and direction. Ricky - every child needs the Attention, Affirmation, and Affection of their parents, especially their father. Dads - find out how your children are created and what they are passionate about, and find ways to enter into their world to encourage them in their pursuits. If you don't do this, your children may believe that they are not good enough for your love and attention. Ricky - every dad ought to “date” their children - one-on-one time, finding out more about them…what's your child's favorite color, what is the name of their teacher, what book are they reading, are they allergic to anything…dads, you need to know these things! Ricky - single parents, this is a difficult journey alone, but there are others out there who can help you - coaches, teachers, etc…but be careful and vigilant to vet those you allow into the life of your children. Childcare is not available for these sessions.*** Living Hope Ministries As Executive Director, Ricky's vision, leadership, compassion and passion for truth has helped LHM grow and expand amidst a culture often antagonistic to its mission. Before joining Living Hope Ministries, Ricky served the Lord as a single adult/outreach pastor, youth pastor, education minister, and even used his gifts of singing and teaching traveling the US performing gospel concerts. Ricky was one of the founders of LHM's online support forums and was instrumental in establishing satellites of LHM in Denton and Houston. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/ Pre-Law, A Master of Arts in Religious Education, is an ordained minister, and has taught at seminaries, colleges, and universities in addition to speaking throughout the US and abroad. While serving as executive director, Ricky concurrently serves on the pastoral staff at First Baptist Church, Arlington, TX as an ordained pastor. Ricky was joyously married for thirty years to the late Merlinda Allen Chelette, who went to be with the Lord in April 2019. Starting the conversation with raising girls today (boys will be next week). Ricky sees the gender “confusion” today as a “social contagion” - many young girls are following the lead of another or even someone famous Where do we begin this conversation with our daughters? Talk with your daughters about why God created gender, especially the beauty of being created as a woman. Is there anything that a woman can't do in today's current culture? Are there things that specifically a woman can do that is special and unique? If you just allow a person to progress normally through puberty, 75-85% of gender confusion will resolve for the sex to which they are born. Parents - celebrate the way that your child was created by God - if they are a boy, celebrate that they are male - if they are a girl, celebrate that they are female. Remember that God doesn't make mistakes - your children were created by God for a purpose, which includes their gender. Parents - understand the influence that social media is having on the hearts and minds of your children! Special shout out to Jared Wood for allowing us to use his music - check him out at JaredWoodMusic!

¿Ejemplos? ¿Ejemplos?

Join me, Crystal Cheatham, as I catch up with an old friend. J Mase III is a black trans poet and together with fellow performer and spiritual guide, Lady Dane Figueroa we tackle common LHM themes on God, sex and the Bible. I can't help making fun of Mase but we all take our shots at the imperfections of religion, sex culture and Dan Savage (because why not). Hear how toxic religion affects the black trans community and how they intend to credential those who walk their same path. This episode is fire ya'll. I hope you laugh as hard as we did.
