But they will face some new challenges as they return to the budget process in the new year. Joseph Coletti, John Locke Foundation senior fellow, outlines those challenges. Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman delivered free-market messages to a wide television audience with his “Free to Choose” program on public TV. The Free to Choose Network follows in Friedman’s footsteps with a series of programs highlighting the importance of markets. President and CEO Robert Chatfield discusses the network’s latest projects. Before announcing plans to step down as UNC System president, Margaret Spellings offered praise for a program designed to highlight two cost-saving programs for students within the statewide university system. Spellings touted the taxpayer-funded We Promise campaign during a meeting with the system’s Board of Governors. Absentee ballot irregularities in southeastern North Carolina prompted members of the N.C. elections board to delay certifying results of the hotly contested 9th District congressional race. As elections officials investigated, three Republican state senators called on the governor to establish a new bipartisan task force to look into the issue. You’ll hear why they believe an outside group should probe allegations of illegal activity involving absentee ballots. A special N.C. House committee has unveiled its proposals for addressing safety in the state’s public schools. Lindsay Marchello, Carolina Journal associate editor, covered the committee’s debate of its final report. Marchello highlights the group’s top priorities.

This week Pete Consigli was in Pittsburgh and sat down with the Z-man and Radio Joe in Studio C for a retrospective conversation about the almost 4 decade relationship between these two restoration industry icons. After a punishing week that saw the release of a trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a teaser for the trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a trailer for Fantastic Four: This Time We'll Get It Right, We Promise and, of course, the Internet-breaking trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Matt and Ed decided to sit down and talk about the state of movie marketing today. In addition to freaking out a little bit over seeing Han and Chewie on screen again, they discuss the ever decreasing amounts of footage being released as trailers, the ways in which marketing drives the feeding frenzy of click bait criticism (and vice versa) and the ways in which the team behind The Force Awakens both play into and defy these trends. They also find time to talk about Marvel's Daredevil and the baffling low-budget British musical Walking on Sunshine, because not everything takes place in a galaxy far, far away. Some of it takes place in the cheaper-to-film parts of Italy.Spoiler Warning: From 21:30-22:00, there is a brief discussion of the trailer for Terminator Genisys which reveals an apparently significant plot point which is itself revealed in the trailer, so fair warning if you are trying to avoid that trailer.

It feels like there must've been some scenes cut out of it, so hopefully there'll be a special edition DVD at some point. Oh well, at least we get an explanation as to how Dick and Helena get their secret identities back. After that, in 464, Wildcat goes out for a night on the town with a teenage boy.... uh, waitaminute... that sounds bad. All right, let's try that again. Wildcat declines an invitation to hang out with Robin, Power Girl and Huntress and ends up meeting a teenage boy on the street. Ummmm... That's not much better. Okay, here it is...
