(cyberpunk) نوعًا من أدب الخيال العلمي الذي يتميز بتمحوره حول العالم الافتراضي والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة، كما يتضمن العديد من العناصر الأخرى مثل الجريمة والفساد والتحرر والتمرد، ونوع من القصص الغامضة. يعود أصل الـ (cyberpunk)  إلى الأدب الخيال العلمي الذي ظهر في الستينات والسبعينات من القرن الماضي، ولكنه انتشر وازدهر في الثمانينات والتسعينات، وذلك بفضل العديد من الأعمال الشهيرة التي تناولت هذا الموضوع، مثل رواية "نيرومانسر" للكاتب وليام جيبسون التي صدرت في عام 1984.تعريف (cyberpunk)تأتي كلمة "سايبربانك" أو "سايبربونك" (Cyberpunk) من مزيج بين كلمتين:الأولى هي "سايبرنيتيكس" (Cybernetics) وهي تعني دراسة النظم الآلية والحيوية والتفاعل بينها.يشير مصطلح "سايبرنيتيكس" (Cybernetics) إلى دراسة النظم والآليات والتفاعلات بين الأجزاء المختلفة في الأنظمة الحيوية والآلية. ويتضمن هذا المصطلح فهم العلاقات المتبادلة بين الجزء والكل في النظام، وكيفية تغيير وتحكم الأنظمة في أنفسها.وتشمل مجالات الدراسة في السايبرنيتيكس مثل هذه النظم المختلفة كالأعصاب والغدد، والآليات المتحكمة في الصناعة والتحكم في عام 1968:o      نوفا هي رواية خيال علمي من تأليف الكاتب الأمريكي صموئيل ديلاني ونشرت في عام 1968. تستكشف الرواية، التي تصنف رسميًا كعمل فضائي، السياسة والثقافة في مستقبل يتسم بانتشار تقنية السايبورج بشكل شامل (والرواية واحدة من سلفيات السايبربانك)، ولكن يمكن أن تنطوي صناعة القرارات الكبرى على استخدام بطاقات التاروت. تحمل الرواية نغمات أسطورية قوية، وترتبط على حد سواء بمسألة البحث عن الكأس المقدسة Kończę [Maciej, dop. Maciej] ostatni sezon Big Bang Theory i w trakcie jego oglądania nie mogę przestać myśleć nad tym, co usłyszałem przypadkiem na jego temat w innych mediach. Jako, że zawsze identyfikowałem się jako geek i nerd, nigdy nie postrzegałem tej serii, jako coś więcej, niż tylko zabawna komedyjka do kotleta. Okazuje się, że stoi za nim troszkę więcej. Coś, co przedefiniowało znaczenie słów określających ludzi interesujących się popkulturą. Na początku chciałbym, żebyście wiedzieli, że w zdecydowanej większości, jak nie wszystkie, znam odniesienia z tego serialu do kultury popularnej. Przedstawiane archetypy postaci w sumie nigdy nie były dla mnie zmyślone. Obracam się wśród ludzi, którzy są bohaterami Big Bang Theory na co dzień, więc doskonale mogłem wpasować się w przedstawiany świat. Dowcipy bohaterów, były dowcipami, jakie słyszałem każdego dnia. Z moralnymi rozterkami bohaterów borykałem się dzień w dzień. W 2007 roku ukazał się pierwszy odcinek Teorii Wielkiego Podrywu. Polskie tłumaczenie tytułu nijak nie oddaje zabawy słownej z oryginału i mógłbym stwierdzić, że nawet odstrasza. Moja pierwsza myśl, kiedy ówczesny współlokator spytał mnie, czy chce zacząć oglądanie z nim nowej serii była: „yyy, nie?”. Kiedy jednak dowiedziałem się, że serial jest produkowany przez tych samych ludzi, którzy maczali palce przy Friends, a Big Bang ma być ich duchowym następcą, stwierdziłem: „dalej nie, czemu mam chcieć to oglądać?”. Koniec końców zostałem namówiony i wsiąkłem w ich świat bez reszty. Dlaczego ten serial przedefiniował znaczenie pojęć geek i nerd? Ponieważ pojawił się w takiej chwili nowożytnej historii, w której Hollywood potrzebowało oswojenia zwykłego zjadacza filmów i seriali z tą właśnie subkulturą. Producenci badali grunt, czy filmy na podstawie śmiesznych książek z obrazkami, zwanych komiksami, kierowanymi głównie do dosyć specyficznej, ale wciąż rosnącej ilościowo grupy osób, przyjmą się w zwykłym kinie. Po sukcesie Matrixa, Trylogii Władcy Pierścieni i Harrego Pottera szukali nowych scenariuszy, na podstawie których mogliby kręcić filmy. A jak wiemy Stan Lee od zawsze chciał, żeby komiksy Marvela wylądowały na szerokim ekranie. A przypominam, że pierwszy filmowy Iron Man, oficjalnie rozpoczynający pierwszą fazę MCU, pojawił się w 2008 roku. W tym czasie duża liczba odbiorców oswajała się ze światem zabawnych i oderwanych od rzeczywistości geeków i nerdów dzięki serialom, takim jak Big Bang Theory. Żeby zrozumieć dowcipy, być na odpowiednim mentalnym poziomie, trzeba było sięgnąć do źródeł, z których korzystali bohaterowie. Trzeba było poznać świat Marvela, DC, fizyki, informatyki i fantastyki. W tamtym okresie była to raczej niszowa wiedza, rozkładającą się na popkulturowym wykresie Gausa gdzieś na jego początku, lub na jego końcu, w nizinach. Czyli, albo się nic nie widziało, albo wszystko. Teraz jest to sam pik tego wykresu i centrum uwagi zdecydowanej większości osób poruszających się obecnie wykrystalizowanej formie kultury popularnej. Można sobie zadać pytanie, czy to my staliśmy normalnymi bohaterami świata Big Bang Theory, czy nasz świat naturalnie zmierzał w kierunku tego, przedstawionego w serialu? Nie znam odpowiedzi na to pytanie, ale wiem że mogę zaprosić was do odsłuchania dziewięćdziesiątego pierwszego odcinka naszego podcastu, w którym standardowe geeki i nerdy w postaci Macieja i Piotra rozmawiają o bieżących newsach ze świata gier, filmów, gastronomii i bebechowa.
