Am 21. März ist „Internationaler Tag des Waldes“. „Ein Keller aus Holz, geht, hat aber wenig Sinn,“ schmunzelt Peter Sattler - oben drüber allerdings überwiegen eindeutig die Vorteile! Bei mir spricht der HOLZ-Experte über die Einzigartigkeit dieses Baustoffs; - sogar der Feuerwehr ist er lieber als Stahl, wenn es brennt! Wir sprechen in TEIL1 aber auch über das richtige Holz für zahnende Kinder: - alles eignet sich da, außer EICHE. Zu hart. Deshalb ist sie aber wieder ein Renner bei Terrassen. Und während die Einreichfrist für den diesjährigen HOLZBAUPREIS verlängert wurde und pro Sekunde in unseren Wäldern der Rohstoff für ein Stockwerk eines Holzhauses nachwächst, sorgt sich der 2-fache Großvater: „Das Thema Naturschutz oder Klimaschutz ist noch eine größere Keule, als uns jetzt die Covid-Krise beschert hat.“ In TEIL2 spricht der gebürtige Oberösterreich zum einen über die großen Herausforderungen, vor der die Forstwirtschaft steht, zum andern über die Trends und gesundheitsfördernden Aspekte von Fichte, Tanne, Zirbe,… und dem BAUM des JAHRES 2021: die LINDE! Zum Schluss klopfen wir noch auf Holz, „fachsimpeln“ über Barrique-Weinfässer und umarmen in Gedanken einen BAUM!

He is also a Lead Auditor for QMS, ISMS, BCMS and ITSM. He is a certified Systems Thinker from MIT Sloan Institute of Management. He provides services in the areas of Information Security, Data Privacy, Agile, DevOps, CMMI and ISO standards. He also happens to be the past President of SPIN Chennai and currently on its Board. He runs his own Consulting Firm ‘Ascentant Corporation' which is primarily into IT consulting. Prior to starting his own Firm, he has worked with organizations like HCL, Polaris, KPMG and Renault-Nissan. He started his career as a Programmer and has been in various responsibilities in software delivery. He later moved into Software Quality and Security. He has taken many organizations into successful ISO and CMMI journeys. He is an avid reader of books and boasts a great collection of fiction and non-fiction in physical and e-forms. Functioned in various production, quality assurance and management capacities. Jorge is a Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and Lean & Six-Sigma practitioner. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer with the Department of Industrial Technology at Fresno State University. Currently Jorge is the Director of College of the Sequoias Training Resource Center, which provides customized training and consulting services to private and public organizations in the California Central Valley as part of regional economic and workforce development. Jorge has earned his M.B.A. from California State University Fresno, his B.S. Engineering Technology from California State University Long Beach and his CTE degree in Machine Tool Technology from SENATI Industrial Institute.
