Ken pushes back hard on the Browns' decision to leave Shedeur Sanders inactive for the preseason finale while sending Deshaun Watson out in rain-delayed third-quarter mop-up duty against third-teamers. He tears into the double standard of judging Watson's shaky performance against backups while writing off the results as meaningless, and takes aim at fans and media obsessing over a completion-percentage tracker that no real coach would ever use. Anthony pushes back throughout, setting up a heated back-and-forth over whether this is Ken's first real shot at the coaching staff.

    The Coach Approach Ministries Podcast

Why do some people fixate on details that seem irrelevant to you? Why do others jump quickly to patterns and possibilities? And why can a decision that seems perfectly logical to one person feel completely wrong to someone else? In this solo episode, Brian uses the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to explore two particularly useful personality distinctions: Sensing vs. Intuition and Thinking vs. Feeling. These preferences describe how people tend to take in information and how they tend to make decisions. Understanding these differences can increase self-awareness, reduce frustration in relationships, and make coaches more effective by helping them recognize when they are unconsciously expecting clients to process information and decisions the same way they do. Key Ideas & Takeaways There really are different ways of processing the world. Brian opens with a conversation with his longtime friend Travis about a thorn in his thumb. Travis wanted to know exactly what kind of plant the thorn came from; Brian could not understand why that detail mattered. The exchange illustrates how differently two people can naturally gather information. Sensing and Intuition describe how we prefer to take in information. Sensing tends to focus on facts, details, experience, and concrete evidence. Intuition tends to focus on patterns, possibilities, connections, meaning, and what could be. Neither approach is better. Each notices things the other can easily miss. Our own preference can feel like common sense. Because we have spent a lifetime processing information in a particular way, it can be difficult to understand why another person doesn't see what seems obvious to us. Thinking and Feeling describe how we prefer to make decisions. Thinking tends to emphasize logic, consistency, and what makes the most sense. Feeling tends to emphasize values, people, relationships, and the human impact of a decision. Feeling is not the same thing as being emotional, and Thinking does not mean being uncaring. Different decision-making styles strengthen communities. Logic matters, but so do shared values and the impact decisions have on people. Healthy families, teams, churches, and organizations benefit from both perspectives. Coaches need awareness of their own preferences. Coaching frequently involves helping people gather information and make decisions. A coach who assumes the client should process those things the same way the coach does can unintentionally limit the conversation. The opposite preference can generate powerful coaching questions. A coach might invite a strongly Sensing client to consider patterns or possibilities, or ask a strongly Thinking client to consider how a decision fits the values of the people affected. The goal isn't to change the client's preference but to expand what they are able to consider. Assessments should create awareness, not pigeonhole people. Myers-Briggs describes preferences rather than limitations. Knowing a preference can help explain differences without turning personality type into an excuse or rigid label. Brian closes by introducing CAM 509: Coaching and Assessments, beginning September 22, 2026, an eight-week course exploring assessments and how coaches can use them effectively. Memorable Quotes & Ideas "I think the easiest recognition of this is when I'm around somebody who I don't understand." "You are really going to assume that everybody takes in information and makes decisions like you do—and that they should." "I see patterns before I see specifics." "Feeling isn't about being emotional." "I process differently would be a better way of saying that." "As I'm coaching, I want to try to set aside my own biases and preferences toward how I take in information and how I make decisions." "There are options out there that you have not considered."

Despite sustained efforts to advance peace in Sudan, the warring parties remain locked in a zero-sum military logic, while greater international attention and action was urgently needed to change that calculus. That was the clear message delivered to the U.N. Security Council by senior U.N. Secretariat officials during a meeting convened to discuss the deteriorating humanitarian consequences, including the protection of civilians, as a result of the more than three-year conflict. Often overshadowed by the wars in Gaza and Iran, the Council heard that more than two-thirds of the people of Sudan were in desperate need of lifesaving support. Sherwin Bryce-Pease reports....

Kingdom Logic turns the world's definition of strength upside down. In Week 2 of our Kingdom Logic series, Pastor Josh challenges the way we think about what it means to be strong. The world often defines strength by power, dominance, or the ability to overpower others—but in God's Kingdom, true strength is revealed through what we have the power to do but choose not to do. Through the fruit of the Spirit, we discover that gentleness, self-control, restraint, and a calm spirit are not signs of weakness. They are evidence of incredible strength. Real strength is having the ability to react, retaliate, or take control, yet possessing the discipline to surrender our response to God. Sometimes the strongest person in the room isn't the loudest or most powerful. It's the person who could react—but chooses restraint. Join us as we continue Kingdom Logic and discover how the Holy Spirit gives us the strength to master what's happening within us rather than trying to control everything around us.

Matthew traces the concept of wetiko — a Cree figure for a cannibal spirit whose hunger grows with what it consumes — from its original anticolonial and anti-imperialist meaning in Jack Forbes's 1992 book Columbus and Other Cannibals, through Derrick Jensen's anti-civilization lense, Ladha and Kirk's 2016 application to neoliberal capitalism, Paul Levy's syncretic New Age elaboration, and finally to Bernhard Guenther and Laura Matsue's QAnon-adjacent version.  Wetiko's metaphysical framing, inherited from Forbes's explicit rejection of Marxist materialism, left the concept open to spiritual recuperation by the right. He proposes a different application: reading wetiko through David Harvey's "capital surplus absorption problem," compound growth's insatiable hunger for profitable outlets. Larry is back in studio with his wife Jessica for part two of their conversation, recorded the week of their 22nd anniversary. Last week they covered how they met and the crucibles that shaped them. This week they get practical about the daily mechanics of a marriage that works: how they got aligned on parenting, how they resolve conflict, and how they back each other up in front of the kids whether they agree or not. They're candid that none of it came naturally at first. They walk through the parenting classes that helped early on, a hard season with one of their sons that turned out to be driven by a medication reaction, and why setting ego aside to get outside help was the move that saved them repeatedly. Jessica shares what it means to never be emasculated or called a name in thirty years together, and Larry breaks down the guardrails that keep their disagreements calm: no yelling, no name calling, real listening, and a willingness to eat humble pie. If your marriage feels more like managing a household than sharing a life, this one is a window into the operating system of a couple who clearly still like each other.   Timeline Summary [1:02] – Why part two matters, and Jessica joins for parenting and conflict resolution [4:39] – A new season with an adult son and the land of uncertainty it brings [6:39] – Bringing the first baby home to a tornado, and every season being new territory [9:07] – The one thing they nailed early: alignment on parenting styles [10:21] – Love and Logic, 1-2-3 Magic, and the classes that gave them a shared playbook [11:34] – A hard season with Mason at 11 and refusing to let ego stop them from getting help [13:15] – Communication gap: Larry not seeing how bad the mornings really were [16:39] – Owning that "I have to work" wasn't the support Jessica needed [17:23] – The real catalyst turned out to be a medication, and the game-changing fix [18:43] – Having each other's back in front of the kids, no public disagreement [19:47] – The quiet aside instead of the public callout, coming back as a combined unit [21:39] – The over-punishment story: stacking consequences on Ethan's grades [22:54] – Why never being emasculated or disrespected publicly matters so much to a man [25:44] – The non-negotiable guardrails: no name calling, ever, even joking [27:15] – Listening without interrupting and keeping voices calm [30:09] – Tonality, ownership, and a family that apologizes well [34:32] – Why these habits are their operating system but not most people's [35:10] – The waterfall of peace: how Jessica's affection quiets Larry's chaos [36:33] – Not gaslighting a partner who's having a hard day, and giving space to process [37:30] – The "what did you do all day" mistake and never globalizing with always and never [40:43] – The deck argument Ethan witnessed and asked if they were divorcing [42:22] – Ethan's three observations: no yelling, real listening, no name calling [42:40] – Asking "is there truth to this" to sidestep the ego and defensiveness [45:02] – The trash story: coming in guns blazing and eating humble pie [49:11] – Covering for each other's hard seasons with the kids instead of piling on [50:04] – Favorite memories: the simple stuff, laughter under their own roof [52:16] – Valuing experiences over stuff, and how that alignment happened [55:19] – Closing out Mason's last year at home with a bang [56:53] – The 25 intimate conversation starters that keep them connected   5 Key Takeaways Get Aligned and Get Help Without Ego — The couples who struggle most are often fighting over whose parenting style wins. Larry and Jessica treated hard seasons as problems to solve together, bringing in classes and counselors rather than letting pride keep them stuck. Have Each Other's Back in Front of the Kids — Never publicly override your spouse's discipline. Handle disagreements privately, then return to the kids as a combined unit. Kids who can't split their parents feel more secure, not less. Set Guardrails for Conflict — No name calling, no yelling, and real listening while the other person talks. These simple, non-negotiable rules keep disagreements from escalating into damage, and kids notice and absorb them. Ask "Is There Truth to This" — When your partner brings a criticism, the instinct is to defend. Pausing to genuinely ask whether there's truth in it disarms your ego and turns a potential fight into a conversation. And when you're wrong, apologize fast. Protect Each Other's Hard Seasons — When one parent is short-tempered or struggling, the other explains it to the kids with grace instead of piling on. Give your partner room to process a bad day rather than gaslighting or nagging them out of it.   Links & Resources Episode page and all links: https://thedadedge.com/1518 25 Intimate Conversation Starters (free PDF and video training): https://thedadedge.com/25questions Dad Edge Day with the Arizona Cardinals (November 15, Cardinals vs Rams, State Farm Stadium): https://thedadedge.com/nfl   Enjoyed This Episode? When life goes down, Kingdom Logic says take it up! In Week 1 of our new Kingdom Logic series, Pastor Josh looks at the story of Hezekiah and Sennacherib in 2 Kings 18–19 to reveal a powerful truth about prayer. When Hezekiah faced a situation beyond his ability to control, his response was to bring it before the Lord. Prayer isn't meant to be our last resort when we've exhausted every other option—it's one of the most powerful weapons God has given us. Prayer changes us, shifts our perspective, strengthens our faith, and invites God into circumstances we cannot change on our own. Whatever may be going down in your life—your circumstances, relationships, finances, health, or hope—don't carry it alone. Take it up in prayer and trust the God who is greater than whatever you're facing.

Episode 258In this episode, we sit down with literacy researcher Brennan Chandler to talk about the science of spelling instruction and why spelling deserves a much bigger role in science of reading conversations. Brennan explains how spelling supports stronger writing, more precise word knowledge, and better reading outcomes. We discuss why spelling should be taught explicitly rather than left to chance, why patterns matter more than memorized rules, and how phonology, orthography, and morphology all work together when students learn to spell. Brennan also shares why morphology belongs in the early grades, how retrieval practice strengthens spelling knowledge, and why traditional Friday spelling tests often fail to lead to lasting learning. This conversation is full of practical insights for teachers who want to move beyond isolated spelling activities and toward instruction that truly supports literacy development. And this is just part one. Brennan will be back in our next episode focused entirely on practical spelling routines teachers can use right away in the classroom.Brennan mentioned his TAP model of spelling instruction (Teach, Practice, Apply) in this episode. He's built six routines that put it into practice, called Spell Squad. Each one comes with scripting and a timer so you can teach it straight from the screen. Free teaching scripts and printables are on his site: Spell SquadResourcesFree teaching scripts and printables are on Brennan's site: Spell Squad"Spelling Is an Integral Part of Learning the Language, Not a Matter of Memorization.""How Spelling Supports Reading" by Louisa MoatsThis resource from Logic of English shares several high-utility spelling patterns and generalizations that may feel more useful and transferable than the long lists of spelling “rules” many of us learned in school.Follow Brennan ChandlerLooking for more literacy support and resources? Send us Fan MailThis conversation wasn't supposed to begin this way - but maybe that's exactly why it became so powerful. What started as a casual pre-show conversation between two women quickly turned into one of the most candid and vulnerable conversations I've ever shared on the Ageless Glamour Girls™ Podcast. When I started recording, I had no idea that somehow, we were also LIVE.Yes. LIVE. And apparently, my guest noticed before I did! By the time I realized what was happening, we were already about 11 or 12 minutes into some REALLY good stuff. She said, “This is all the good stuff!” And she was right. So, we kept going. And I'm so glad we did. My guest, Jane Bond, is an Identity Strategist, Reinvention Coach, Realtor, host of the Unpack Your Life Podcast, and creator of the Identity Rebuild App. Together, we get REAL about fear, self-doubt, regret, people-pleasing, ambition, exhaustion, and what happens when the life you've built no longer feels quite like the life you want. Jane explains why fear can be so difficult to recognize - sometimes it doesn't look like fear at all. It looks practical. Responsible. Logical. And that hit home for me.Jane and I actually met several years ago when her office was in the same building as my husband's. At one point, she offered me an opportunity to enter the real estate business. I wanted to do it, but I had plenty of perfectly reasonable reasons for saying no. Looking back, however, I can see that fear and a lack of self-trust played a much bigger role in my decision than I realized at the time.We also talk about the difference between confidence and self-trust, why failure is simply “data,” the pressure so many women feel to keep performing and producing, and why reinvention isn't necessarily about becoming someone new. Sometimes it's about returning to who you were all along.                                          Jane also shares her five-step identity framework and introduces the Identity Rebuild App, designed to help people examine the identities they've carried, let go of what no longer serves them, and intentionally move forward.  Luvvies, this one is raw. It's funny. It's vulnerable. And yes - at times, it gets VERY real. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we enjoyed having it.  CHEERS to Healthy Aging and Joyful Living, Luvvies!________________________ABOUT JANE BOND: Identity Strategist | Speaker | HostI'm Jane Bond, a high-level coach and strategist for people who are successful on the outside but know, deep down, that something needs to shift. My work lives at the intersection of identity, clarity, and execution. Read OnlineDivine LogicThe disciples approached Jesus and said, “Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?” He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said, “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.” Matthew 18:1–5Divine logic upends worldly assumptions and reveals the gentle majesty of God's ways, as today's Gospel makes clear. Worldly wisdom and ambitions of greatness must give way to the Heavenly greatness that God wants to bestow. The disciples were not immune to ambition. Their question—“Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?”—reveals that they were still thinking in worldly terms, imagining a hierarchy of honor and status. Though their question was flawed, Jesus does not rebuke them harshly. Instead, He teaches with a gesture: He calls a child and places the child in their midst. This visual lesson would have been startling. In the cultural context of the time, children were not considered important. They had no legal status, no authority, and little societal recognition. Due to high child mortality rates, a child often was not regarded with full dignity until reaching a more mature age—typically around twelve. For that reason, no adults would have desired to “become like children” again.Jesus, of course, was not saying that His disciples needed to return to immaturity. Rather, they needed to “turn and become like children.” The word translated as “turn” in this passage implies a complete change of direction—a conversion of heart and mind. This transformation is one of humility, dependence, trust, and simplicity. A child does not pretend to be self-sufficient. A child receives, learns, trusts, and loves freely. The proud cannot enter the Kingdom because pride isolates the soul from grace, whereas humility opens it to divine life.Jesus then uses the disciples' struggle with a desire for greatness to further invite them to hear and respond to what He said: “Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.” Perhaps the disciples did not yet understand what heavenly greatness looked like or what it meant to become humble like the child Jesus embraced, but, nonetheless, they desired greatness. By feeding that desire—albeit a misguided one—Jesus sparks within them the motivation to listen and to follow what He taught. Suddenly, humility would have become compelling to them—something to ponder, inquire about, and desire.Similarly, each of us has many ambitions—some good, some bad, and some neutral. Since Jesus speaks of becoming “the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven,” we should not hesitate to plant that desire in our hearts. Many of the greatest saints and mystics have taught that Heaven is hierarchical, meaning that the saints and angels experience varying degrees of closeness to God. Though every saint and angel beholds the Beatific Vision and enjoys perfect happiness forever, those who achieved the greatest degree of humility in this life are drawn deeper into the mystery of God's essence, experiencing greater clarity of knowledge and greater intensity of love. This is why Jesus taught in His Sermon on the Mount to “store up treasures in heaven” (cf. Matthew 6:19–21). That treasure is attained first and foremost through humility—by turning from pride and sin, and becoming little, dependent, trusting, and simple.Reflect today on the deepest ambitions of your heart. Do you desire greatness in the eyes of God? If so, embrace the paradox of divine logic. The path to the heights of heavenly glory is found in the lowliness of humility. Desire greatness on God's terms, not the world's. Be small, and God will lift you up.Lord of all greatness, Your glory, power, and holiness are beyond anything we could ever fathom, yet You invite us to share in Your divine life. Fill my heart, I pray, with a desire for greatness, not as the world sees it, but as You define it. Make me great in Your eyes by helping me become humble like a child: dependent, trusting, little, and simple. Teach me to love You and others freely and without condition, so that my love may store up an abundance of treasure in Heaven. Jesus, I trust in You.  Image: Jesus among the children in the church, by Virginio MontiSource: Free RSS feed from catholic-daily-reflections.com — Copyright © 2026 My Catholic Life! Inc. In this episode, Dr. K tackles the popular self-help myth of "thought control" and positive thinking. Disagreeing with top athletes who claim they can fully master their minds, he explains the actual science of attention, emotional regulation, and cognitive conditioning. Drawing on the metaphor of a garden, he breaks down how to stop painful thought spirals, why arguing with your own brain fails, and how to transition away from the trap of black-and-white thinking. What to expect in this episode: The Myth of Thought Control: Why Dr. K strongly disagrees with high performers like Eileen Gu on "controlling" your thoughts, and why your brain actually generates thoughts automatically, much like a TV playing different channels. The Anatomy of a Thought Spiral: How a single negative event—like getting dumped—can trigger an automatic, exhausting chain reaction that drains your self-esteem and wastes hours of your life. The "Tip of the Nose" Hack: A simple, powerful, and immediate secret meditation technique that instantly shuts off background brain chatter and grounds you in the present moment. Logic vs. Emotion: Why your logical brain is actually controlled by your emotional circuits, and why trying to "argue" with yourself logically when you're angry, ashamed, or depressed never works. The Dopamine Deception: How scrolling through social media and watching funny videos merely suppresses your emotional circuits rather than actually regulating them, leaving you in a worse state once you put the phone down. Mental Gardening: Why your mind is like a wild, unmanicured garden, and why high performers succeed not because they are perfect, but because they commit to the daily grind of "weeding" unproductive thoughts. The 20-Week Rule: Why it takes about 20 weeks of consistent mental training to finally get your "mind garden" under control, and why giving up after a month is the biggest trap of self-improvement. Weeding Out Black-and-White Thinking: Understanding the direct link between extreme, binary thinking and severe mental illness, and why the most important step you can take today is shifting your mind toward the gray. How to Actually Be There When You're With Your Kids featuring Joe Bailey

This is a Wednesday Wins Q&A, with Larry joined by his longtime co-host and friend of nearly a decade, Joe Bailey. The two open up about the Bible study they've been doing together before digging into two listener questions that hit at the heart of hands-on fatherhood. First, Steve asks how to prepare his three year old daughter for a new baby sister arriving in a few weeks, and how to keep the first child feeling seen. Then Brad from Florida sends in a question that lands hard: his wife says that even when he's home, he's not really there, and his 11 year old recently cut off a story with "never mind, dad, you're not listening anyway." Larry and Joe get practical on capacity for love, protecting margin, and the exact tools they use to actually be present. If you've ever been physically home but mentally somewhere else, this one is for you.   Timeline Summary [1:02] – Larry and Joe celebrate nearly a decade of friendship and their ongoing Bible study [3:09] – Steve's question: transitioning a three year old into big sister life [4:57] – The fear of not having enough love to go around, and why it's unfounded [5:19] – The Love and Logic lesson: what a new sibling feels like to a toddler [7:05] – Kids spell love T-I-M-E, and why one on one time matters most [9:36] – Joe on quality over quantity once you can't match the same hours [11:39] – Becoming a subject matter expert in whatever your kid is into [13:03] – Inviting the older child into the role of big sister without pressure [14:14] – Watching for behavioral cues before jealousy goes full fledged [14:34] – Being depth on the bench for your wife and beating the guilt monster [15:37] – Larry's chapter on raising daughters and leaning on Meg Meeker's work [16:26] – Chris Berry's daddy-daughter dates and setting the standard sky high [18:01] – Why three years old isn't too early to start dating your daughter [19:19] – Brad's question: present in body, absent in mind [21:03] – Why perception is reality when your family feels you're not there [22:16] – The name cue: teaching your family to signal when they need you fully [23:26] – Being relentless about creating margin and hard stops for work [25:24] – Larry on notifications as the window that steals your presence [25:43] – The Gary John Bishop river metaphor for the past, present, and future [28:28] – Larry's Full Presence Training and grounding through the five senses [31:07] – Joe on great expectancy with no expectations   5 Key Takeaways Your Capacity for Love Isn't Fixed — Every parent fears they can't love a second child as much as the first. Both hosts describe the same surprise each time: a fresh reserve of love shows up that you didn't know you had. Quality Beats Quantity — With more kids, you simply can't give each one the same number of hours. Get intentional instead: enter your child's world, learn what they love, and make the time you do have count. Perception Is Reality — You may feel like you're present and carrying the load, but if your wife and kids experience you as checked out, that's the reality you have to address. Validating their experience comes before defending your own. Protect Margin With Hard Stops — Decide when work starts and when it ends, and hold the line even when customers call at night. Give your family a simple cue, like saying your name, that signals you'll drop everything and give full attention. Ground Yourself in the Five Senses — When your mind drifts to the past or the future, you miss the present entirely. Deliberately noticing what you see, hear, feel, and smell in a moment with your kids pulls you fully into it.   Links & Resources Episode page and all links: https://thedadedge.com/1513 Dad Edge Day with the Arizona Cardinals (November 15, Cardinals vs Rams, State Farm Stadium): https://thedadedge.com/nfl Meg Meeker episode: https://thedadedge.com/meg-meeker/   Enjoyed This Episode? If Brad's question hit a nerve, or if you've got a new sibling on the way like Steve, take one idea from this episode and put it to work this week. Set a hard stop on work tonight, or ground yourself in the five senses the next time your kid is talking to you. Why Logic Alone Can't Explain the Human Mind (with Tom Griffiths)

My next book, Productiveness, arrives this September. It's about the difference between doing more and doing what matters, and how we lost the ability to tell them apart. I'll send the release date the day it's set. Visit https://mikevardy.com/productiveness to learn more.Logic is beautiful and it's also almost never enough. That's the tension running through this entire conversation — the idea that we want our decisions to be purely logical because it's simple and concrete, but almost no real situation in a human life actually has the structure logic requires. I've believed for a long time that reason lives somewhere in the nuanced middle between logic and emotion, and I wanted to sit down with someone who's spent a career studying exactly that boundary.Tom Griffiths is a Princeton professor and the author of the new book The Laws of Thought: The Quest for a Mathematical Theory of the Mind. If you know his earlier book, Algorithms to Live By, this one is the foundation underneath it — the deeper, denser history of how mathematics has tried, and often failed, to fully capture how minds work. We covered logic's limits, David Hume's riddle about induction, why AI systems fail in strange and "jagged" ways humans don't, and how a 200-year-old idea from George Boole ended up, several generations later, inside modern neural networks through his own great-great-grandson.Six Discussion PointsLogic only works when you already have all the information you need and the conclusion is certain — which describes almost none of the decisions we actually make as humans.Amos Tversky's early work on similarity (a horse is more "like" a camel than a camel is "like" a horse) laid the groundwork for the heuristics-and-biases research he later did with Daniel Kahneman."Productivity," in the cognitive science sense, means a system's ability to generate something genuinely new — which is closer to creativity than to output.David Hume's riddle of induction shows we can't logically justify assuming the future will resemble the past — we simply have a habit of expecting it to.AI systems demonstrate "jagged intelligence": strong on one problem, mysteriously weak on the problem right next to it, because they arrive at solutions through a completely different process than human brains do.Reading old, "outdated" books remains valuable specifically because they capture the right questions — not just today's most efficient answers.Three Connection PointsThe Laws of Thought by Tom GriffithsAlgorithms to Live By by Tom Griffiths and Brian ChristianStop Managing Your Time, Start Crafting Your Time InsteadIf there's one thing to sit with after this conversation, it's that fuzziness isn't a flaw in how we think — it's often the most accurate description available. Tom's book gives you the historical throughline for why that's true, and honestly, it's a book you want to take your time with, not tear through. Give it the same patience the ideas in it deserve.Your inbox is a receiving dock, not a warehouse. Three moves, seconds a message, and only what needs you today is left standing. In this episode, Gerrit pays a heartfelt tribute to Eric Smith, a beloved Joseph Smith Papers colleague and devoted listener who recently passed after a long battle with cancer, complete with the legendary tales of stolen break-room milk and a service missionary's knuckle-deep Oreo heist.  The mailbag delivers a live-show love story, a a testimony-strengthening note from Kimberly, and a listener's run-in with anti-Mormon radio. That sparks a robust discussion on how critics caricature Latter-day Saint belief without ever reading Doctrine and Covenants 76. Poor Ezra Booth gets bumped yet again.
