Episode #103 - In this enlightening episode of the Awakened Heart Podcast, I'm joined by the inspiring Dawn DelVecchio, a Priestess with over 38 years of devotion to the awakening of the Divine Feminine within humanity. Dawn has dedicated her life to spiritual service, offering retreats, online courses, deep-dive Soul Astrology sessions, and a host of free resources to support those seeking to embody love and light. She is the host of the renowned Return of the Priestess annual summit, the lineage bearer of the MotherSpirit Priestess line, and the author of the Amazon #1 bestseller Spirit, Mind & Money, written for women in business. In our conversation, Dawn and I dive into the journey of the Priestess, the return of the Divine Mother, and how embracing feminine energy is more important than ever in today's world. We explore the challenges of navigating the 3D world, the balance required during these turbulent times, and the ongoing Great Awakening. Dawn shares profound insights from her spiritual journey, offering guidance on cultivating compassion and rising above the chaos to serve with love and light. This is a conversation filled with wisdom, heart, and inspiration— perfect for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the transformative power of the Divine Feminine. Takeaways Dawn's journey into priestesshood began with a home birth in 1984. The Divine Mother Ray represents the nurturing aspect of God awakening within us. Compassion is essential in recognizing the hijacking of consciousness. We must discern what is in our lane and what is not. Our frequency influences the collective consciousness and reality. The ascension process involves clearing old systems that do not serve life. Finding balance in turbulent times requires going vertical and connecting with the divine. The Great Awakening is a shift towards unity and higher consciousness on Earth. Spiritual practices help us rise above the chaos of the 3D world. Living with an awakened heart means accepting others exactly where they are. Sound Bites "The Divine Mother Ray is awakening within us." "Your frequency matters." "We lift as we rise." SHOW NOTES: On this show…we are exploring guilt and gaslighting as we unravel the mind's silent saboteurs. This topic is as sneaky as a cat burglar and as subtle as a whoopee cushion at a royal banquet: guilt and gaslighting. Ever felt like your mind's been playing tricks on you, only to realize someone else was the magician? Life throws enough curveballs without someone pitching guilt and gaslighting into the mix, right? But here's the good news—you have the power to call out those sneaky mind games, hit pause on the guilt spiral, and rewrite the narrative. Today, we're diving deep into the tricky terrain of guilt and gaslighting: why they happen, how they mess with your head, and most importantly, how you can rise above them. So buckle up for a journey of clarity and courage because It's time to reclaim your peace of mind and say, “No thanks, manipulation—I'll stick to reality!” To set the stage, let's define our key players. Guilt is that nagging feeling when we've done something wrong—or sometimes when we haven't, but someone wants us to think we have. Gaslighting, on the other hand, is a form of psychological manipulation where someone makes you doubt your own reality. It's like being convinced that the sky is green when you know it's blue. Understanding these concepts is the first step in recognizing their impact on our lives. At Neuro Launch I found some Effects of Gaslighting on the Brain: Psychological and Neurological Impacts Over at Psych Central, I found How to Spot Manipulation Tactics Frederick Ribersson on the Decoding Narcissism's YouTube channel How to IMPLODE A Narcissist GUILT Trip Game Let's not let the idea of Rising Above go unexplored. We've all heard of rising above a situation as being the bigger person, taking the high road an letting things go first. But I want you to think of another idea…actually hovering over a situation to get a different perspective. Imagine being in the middle of chaos, drama, or any overwhelming situation. In the middle is tough because it feels like you are surrounded and from this vantage point where you can't see your way out, you might feel hopeless. Rise above, crawl up higher in your mind's eye so that you can look down on a situation. From up here the issue shrinks and you can take in the entire scope of the situation seeing how thinks can be interrelated or interdependent. From this new perspective and the time you took to gain it, you can truly process the challenge and your next move. You have more control over your thinking than you think you do. For instance: Trust Your Perceptions: Acknowledge your feelings and experiences without immediately dismissing them. Set Boundaries: Clearly communicate your limits and stand firm against attempts to undermine them. Seek Support: Talk to trusted friends, family, or a mental health professional about your experiences. Document Interactions: Keep a record of conversations and events to reference if your memory is questioned. Educate Yourself: Learn about common manipulation tactics to better recognize them. CHALLENGE: Trust your inner compass, set firm boundaries, and seek support when faced with manipulation. Embrace your reality and stand strong against those who attempt to distort it. You own your power! I Know YOU Can Do It!

One thing I love about what we do in this show is that we continue to explore new and interesting angles of the bourbon world. And one that always gets overlooked is the role of public relations. All major corporations have contracts with PR firms where it's their responsibility to get eyeballs on every new release, get butts in seats at events, and make some kind of commotion about their whiskey. To explore this topic, I've invited Dave Karrakur on the show. He's an industry veteran who has done PR his entire career at places like Sega and Campari but has now ventured off on his own with Raptor Communications. We talk about the stress that PR feels when it comes time to put out a new release, how to get it in front of the right audience and get words in articles like Forbes, and how do you response to a client when something just completely flops. Cristina Van Osten is one of those people where you're not surprised by her success because she's been making success happen her whole life. Back in her home country of Romania, she decided to sell Avon door to door at 16 years old - and thrived. A couple years later, she started two convenience stores and had a nice exit. After moving to the US at 22, while studying to be a CPA, working full time at a public accounting firm, and being a mom to her young daughter, with all the time on her hands she decided to start a side hustle ecommerce business called Rolio with her brother Radu. Not surprisingly, that also went very well for her.Previous How I Built and Sold This EpisodesHow a Dog Training Guru Built and Sold Her BusinessBreakthrough in Hair Care, Overcoming Tragedy, and a Successful Exit, with Beth Di MaioFrom Kickstarter to Successful Exit, with California Beach Company's Austin Wright and David ShohamLaser Precision: How Strikeman CEO Scott Hutchison Built and Sold his CompanyNetpicks' 7-figure exit in the day trading industryAn ecommerce exit in the $150B+ supplements marketCryptocurrency and Ecommerce: Brothers Bryan and Colin Aulds' Successful ExitHow this 22-year-old built his eCommerce brand and exited for 7 figuresA high performance exit with GWA Auto Parts' Gregg AlperHow RARI Exited the Supplement Space by Rising Above with Real IngredientsHow Adam Spiegel Built and Sold OwnloopThis episode of Deal Closers is hosted by Jason Gillikin and Doug Grindstaff, brought to you by WebsiteClosers.com, and is produced by Earfluence. I advise them to start small and focus on getting customers before investing in complicated technology or optimizing content. It's crucial to prove the concept and generate revenue before expanding and optimizing. Tracking Time and Diversifying Income Faith added that tracking time and identifying revenue-generating activities are crucial. She advises bloggers to find their leverage points and focus on activities that directly contribute to making money. She also suggests diversifying income streams to avoid relying solely on platforms like Google or social media algorithms. The Value of Simplicity and Focus Both Faith and I stress the importance of staying focused and not getting overwhelmed by trying to do too much too soon. We recommend simplicity, a simple offer, and a simple way of selling it. Faith highlights the need for a standout offer and advises against spreading oneself too thin with multiple offers. The Power of Your Brain and Multiple Leads Faith also discussed the importance of having multiple leads and the value of your brain as an entrepreneur. She emphasizes that all money is created from ideas generated by your brain, making it your most valuable asset. When coaching people, Faith encourages them to think in terms of leads, which can be potential customers or visitors to their blog generating ad revenue. The Role of Short-Form Video Content Currently, Faith sees short-form video content platforms like Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest as effective sources for generating leads. She shared an example of someone in her mastermind who went viral on Reels and gained 5,000 email subscribers in just two weeks. Rising Above the Noise Faith discusses rising above the noise and gaining engagement on social media. She acknowledges that it takes time and perseverance, referring to the initial stage as "the suck" where you may feel like you're talking to no one. However, she emphasizes the importance of maintaining consistency. The Challenges and Realities of Building a Career Online Faith also discusses the challenges and realities of building a career online. She emphasizes the importance of trying new things and being willing to make mistakes in front of others. She shares her own experience of organizing her first online summit, which had its fair share of technical issues and frustrations. However, she believes that being a beginner and facing difficulties is a natural part of the process. The Value of Condensing Information and Expertise Faith discusses the value of condensing information and expertise into a faster and more accessible format for people. She emphasizes the importance of not having to spend excessive time and effort on researching and reading books, as she has already done that for her students. Delivering High-Value Results Faith encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to focus on delivering high-value results that people are willing to pay for. She advises individuals to analyze their chosen niche or industry and identify what people are already paying a lot of money for, and then strive to become exceptionally good at delivering those results. Conclusion Faith and I emphasize the importance of simplicity, focus, and diversification in building sustainable businesses.
