I helgen frigavs journalisten Joakim Medin från det turkiska fängelse där han tillbringat 51 dagar i fångenskap, något som präglat medierapporteringen sen dess. Lyssna på alla avsnitt i Sveriges Radio Play. Det har varit idel personporträtt och glädjeskildringar, men utöver det har flera medier försökt skildra spelet bakom frisläppandet. En sak som väckt nyfikenhet är tidssambandet mellan frisläppandet av Joakim Medin och SÄPO:s gripande av en diplomat på UD och en kurdisk politiker i Sverige som misstänks för grov obehörig befattning med hemlig uppgift. De är nu försatta på fri fot, men fortsatt misstänkta. I veckan publicerade sajten Blankspot uppgifter från en hemlig källa som sa att gripandet av de här personerna i själva verket var del av en informell bytesaffär mot Joakim Medin. Vi försöker reda ut om det orsakssamband som Blankspot påstår finns - verkligen finns.
