Jordan and Scott created a two-step, game-based solution for this client: first, employees played a turn-based conversation game with an AI-powered chatbot that and then attended a live 50-minute debrief session where they learned about key empathetic behaviors, discussed their experiences. The program results showed double-digit improvement in evidence-based empathizing skills and participant mindset. For years, she carved out a name for her politically-conscious, alternative folk band called Ember Swift. Yes this project was named after Ember herself, but it was mostly a partnership between Ember and violinist Lyndell Montgomery. As a folk duo, Ember Swift earned fans all over the globe, until one day, she realized that it was not enough. Ember decided that she needed to pursue her degree in Asian Studies and she gave it all up to make a pilgrimage to China. The partnership known as Ember Swift did not survive, but she had followed her heart and a new musical venture was born. Welcome to our interview segment of The Tour Bus Music Show. On this episode we will feature Winbourne from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We caught up with the band short after they returned from their performance at South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. Winbourne was kind enough to take some time away from their rehearsals at the Healing Place Dream Center in Baton Rouge and let us in on what has been going on with the group, their collective history, information on their current EP and the upcoming release later this year of their full length LP. Our interview is about 1 ½ hours in length including music and was interesting, entertaining, and informative. Over the course of the interview we feature four songs off of their 2010 EP entitled “As We Are”. The songs we feature are (In order): “Let Me Love You, Street Signs, Easy and What Were You Thinking”. Bob and Linda struggle through the worst Michigan February on record. And so do their animals, when an icefall from the barn roof demolishes their two outdoor pens. Fortunately, the critters were safe indoors. Prospering in the miserable weather is a Yellow-rumped Warbler which Bob considered to be unusual for the time of year, but not extraordinarily so. However, a sharp-eyed birder saw Bob's warbler photo online and tentatively identified it as the western 'Audubon' variety of the bird, which has only been recorded twice previously in Michigan. Hear the tale of an expert birder scouring the woods for 'Bob's warbler.' Can he somehow find the tiny bird that Bob hadn't seen in days?
