Mea Culpa welcomes back the intrepid newsman, Ali Velshi. Host of “Velshi” and seemingly favorite fill-in host of every other MSNBC Prime Time News Show. Velshi also reported live from the frontlines of the George Floyd protests and most recently he dodged incoming fire from Russian artillery when he fearlessly reported live from the frontlines in Ukraine. A concerned citizen of the world, Velshi seems to be everywhere there is an injustice. I recently join Ali on his show to discuss my latest book, “Revenge.” Michael and Ali dig deep into Trump's anti-semitic dog whistle and the looming midterm elections which could reverse the work of the January 6th Committee and unleash a new wave of MAGA insanity.

Three weeks into the US and Israel's war with Iran, the tensions continue to escalate. On Thursday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed that the Pentagon would seek additional funding for the war -- to the tune of $200 billion.Despite mixed messaging on the aims of the war, President Trump says he will decide when the conflict is over. But not everyone thinks it will be that easy.Thomas Wright served as senior director for strategic planning at the National Security Council under President Biden. In a recent article in The Atlantic, he argues that any off-ramp in Iran is disappearing, and increases the risk that the US will be involved in a prolonged conflict. For sponsor-free episodes of Consider This, sign up for Consider This+ via Apple Podcasts or at plus.npr.org. PLUS: Why is Donald Trump averse to listening to his experts when it comes to Iran?Social Circle city officials closed off and locked the newly-purchased DHS warehouse utility box - meaning "no water for ICE," and no access to sewer services, either. [RELATED: Quinnipiac poll: 64% want path to legal status for most undocumented immigrants] Georgia seems to be primed to move back to using hand-marked paper ballots ... by 2028. All this overhauling over one man who couldn't accept the result of one election and none of the others before, that same day, or since. Insane, but at least they're not racing to upend local and state elections' offices before November. Today I provided another reminder that the "Biden-flation" the right keeps pointing back to while shrugging off "affordability" concerns was sparked by a Trump-negotiated deal with OPEC to throttle back oil production for two years. Speaking of mis-applied credit/blame, conservative pols and pundits are breathlessly trying to blame the partial DHS shutdown on Democrats, impacting air travel throughout the country; but Democrats offered a carve-out to fund TSA and the other parts of DHS not named ICE or CBP .That being said, AFGE union leaders are noting the pain. The notable eight-year gap between Trump 1.0 ignoring his secretary of state - who told Congress Iran was 'fundamentally in compliance' with the JCPOA negotiated by President Obama and Iran - and Trump 2.0 ignoring his director of the National Counterterrorism Center has us where we are now: spending $1 billion a day in a war-like "excursion" with Iran that's also spiking oil and gas prices globally - while simultaenously making us less energy independent in shuttering coastal wind farms for no good reason. Also, while Trump boasts he knew the Strait of Hormuz would be choked off, he apparently never planned for it. If you haven't heard much about the plight of Rodney Taylor, my last two segments today will infuriate you. Arrested about fourteen months ago for a crime he'd been pardoned for more than fifteen YEARS ago, Taylor is set to be deported back to Liberia. He came here at age 2 with a medical visa to help his parents provide for him the opportunity overcome being a double amputee. Oh, the pardon? DHS simply chooses not to recognize it, plus he's a man of color so "off he goes!" While detained, he's literally dragging himself through excrement to get a shower (when he even can) and relying on other prisoners for food the days he can't get to the cafeteria to eat. It's disgusting.
1. Purpose of the SAVE America Act Requires proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote. Requires photo identification to cast a ballot. Common-sense legislation aimed at protecting election integrity rather than restricting voting access. 2. Legislative Status The Senate voted 51–47 to bring the bill to the floor. All Republicans supported the motion except Lisa Murkowski, with one Republican absent. Democrats are uniformly opposed. The bill likely will not pass without 60 votes unless Republicans force a prolonged “talking filibuster.” 3. Argument for Voter ID There is overwhelming public support for voter ID: ~81% of Americans ~75% of African Americans ~80% of Hispanics ~70% of Democrats (non-elected) Voter ID is already required for many everyday activities (flying, banking, driving, alcohol). 4. Rebuttal to Discrimination Voter ID laws DO NOT suppress minority votes. Supreme Court decision upholding Indiana’s voter ID law. Minority voter participation increases when ID laws are implemented. Characterizes opposition arguments as “insulting” to minorities. 5. Immigration and Election Integrity 12 million undocumented immigrants entered the U.S. during the Biden administration. Democrats intentionally allow illegal immigration to influence future elections. Connects open borders to potential voter fraud, despite no specific evidence cited in the speech. 6. Accusations Against Democrats Wanting insecure elections Opposing safeguards deliberately Hypocrisy in claiming to “defend democracy” Uses historical references (Jim Crow, KKK) to counter accusations of racism. 7. Filibuster Strategy Force Democrats into a traditional talking filibuster. Explain Senate rules and physical demands of extended floor speeches. Acknowledge Republicans currently lack the 50 votes needed to sustain this strategy. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. Donald Trump's case for invading Iran took a big blow Tuesday when top counterterrorism official Joe Kent resigned. Though Kent is a crazed extremist with vile views, his letter directly undermined the core rationale Trump has offered for his war and made big news in doing so. This comes as MAGA figures are splitting badly over the conflict. Some (Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson) are raging that the United States is doing Israel's bidding, and others (Ben Shapiro) are denouncing them for blaming Israel for the war, and their battle has grown truly vicious. We talked to Emily Horne, a former National Security Council official under Joe Biden who also worked at the State Department and writes the Spin Class Substack. She explains what Kent might know about the weaknesses of Trump's case for war, why that case is collapsing, and how the deepening MAGA fractures suggest the bottom is falling out under Trump's adventure. They are both countries where the indigenous population was colonized and persecuted. They both lost their language. Israel has successfully achieved independence and built a nation and revived a language - something that the Irish people have failed to do. The Irish still speak English - the Israelis speak Hebrew. Is jealousy part of the Irish problem with Israel?Shapiro Pushes A LieAnd speaking of Israel. In this episode of our Defensible Decisions podcast, Scott Kelly (shareholder, Birmingham) and Nonnie Shivers (office managing shareholder, Phoenix) discuss the EEOC's January 2025 vote to rescind the Biden-era anti-harassment guidance, which had addressed gender identity issues including pronouns, bathroom access, and misgendering. Scott, who is chair of the firm's Workforce Analytics and Compliance Practice Group, and Nonnie, who is co-chair of the firm's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Compliance Practice Group, explain that while the rescission removes enforcement clarity, it does not change existing law—Bostock remains binding precedent—and employers should continue robust harassment training and remain attentive to evolving federal, state, and local requirements. The speakers also preview anticipated EEOC developments, including potential new guidance on religious accommodations and national origin discrimination.

From national security risks to media bias and the latest science you won't hear anywhere else, this episode unpacks the headlines with no spin. SUMMARY In this episode, Tara unpacks the growing political and national security crises. First, she examines the Democrats' effort to defund the Department of Homeland Security, detailing the implications for ICE, Customs and Border Patrol, and how this could affect U.S. security at the border. Tara highlights reports that thousands of known or suspected terrorists have been allowed entry into the country under current policies. Next, she explores the Democrats' alignment with Iran and China, examining media misreporting and censorship. Tara details UK Daily Mail and CNN reports, including revelations about CNN bureau chiefs partying with Iranian officials while thousands of protesters were being killed. Finally, Tara breaks down a groundbreaking study on pornography consumption and sexual orientation, revealing how increased exposure to porn correlates with higher rates of bisexual identification—especially among young users. She ties this to broader societal trends and the challenges of parental guidance in the digital age. KEY TALKING POINTS Democrats' push to end all immigration detention and its national security implications Allegations that 18,000 known or suspected terrorists entered the U.S. under Biden administration policies Democrats' political alignment with Iran and China amid international conflict Media bias and censorship: CNN's access to Iran while protesters are massacred Pentagon's long-standing planning for the Strait of Hormuz and debunking fake media reports New study linking porn consumption to increased bisexuality rates in youth and adults The societal impact of phones, digital exposure, and early porn consumption on sexual development SOCIAL MEDIA BLURB DHS shutdown, Democrats backing Iran, and porn rewiring brains? From the Middle East to global energy markets, Tara breaks down the strategic moves reshaping the world. Learn how Israel and the U.S. are countering Iran, the risks for Marines on the ground, the geopolitical ripple effects on Russia, China, and Venezuela, and why Democrats are panicking over Trump's energy moves. Plus, get insights on flu and COVID vaccines and what the CDC isn't emphasizing. SUMMARY In this episode, Tara dives deep into international conflict, energy policy, and public health: Middle East & Iran War: The new Iranian leadership has not been publicly seen—proof of life remains unverified. Israel plays a pivotal role in countering Iran and Hezbollah, carrying out strikes, intelligence operations, and targeted removals of Iranian nuclear scientists. Limited U.S. ground operations may be deployed in key strategic areas like the Strait of Hormuz, aiming to cripple Iran's oil economy. The broader regional impact spans 12 countries, influencing alliances with Arab nations, Russia, India, China, and NATO dynamics. Energy & Oil Policy: Trump's moves to lift certain Russian oil sanctions are set to drop global oil prices, reversing Democrat-inflated energy costs caused by prior sanctions. These shifts have major implications for U.S. households, global oil markets, and geopolitical power, including China's economic positioning and Russia's oil influence. Public Health Spotlight: Flu vaccines: 200–250 reported deaths annually, possibly up to 1,000 due to underreporting; CDC reports vaccine effectiveness as low as 25% and often readjusted downward over time. COVID vaccines: Adenovirus-based vaccines linked to rare but dangerous blood clots, with media coverage downplaying the risks. Tara emphasizes informed consent and questioning medical advice. Domestic Security & Policy: Highlights recent terror-related incidents in the U.S., including attacks linked to Hezbollah and ISIS, and how failures in immigration and gun law enforcement contributed. Straw purchasing and federal gun enforcement policies under Biden are analyzed as contributing factors to domestic security vulnerabilities. KEY TALKING POINTS Israel's intelligence and military operations against Iran and Hezbollah Strategic implications of potential U.S. limited ground operations Trump's energy policy and lifting of Russian oil sanctions Impact on global oil prices, Russia, China, India, and NATO CDC data on flu and COVID vaccine effectiveness and risks Domestic terror threats, immigration policy failures, and gun enforcement issues SOCIAL MEDIA BLURB From Iran to oil markets, Israel to U.S. Marines, Tara exposes the strategies reshaping the world
Tara exposes how Democrats are siding with Iran while attacking Trump, manipulating public perception, and ignoring skyrocketing gas prices. From military operations in the Middle East to skewed late-night comedy narratives, this episode reveals the hidden realities the media won't tell you. SUMMARY In this episode, Tara breaks down the weekend's political and military developments, showing how Democrats are prioritizing propaganda over national security. She explains how the party paints Americans and Trump as “terrorists” while ignoring Iran, the world's top state sponsor of terrorism. Tara highlights the impact of the Iran conflict on U.S. gas prices, noting that averages are back to Biden-era highs, and argues this aligns with Democrats' broader strategy to push Americans toward electric vehicles. She also debunks media coverage of Iran, including misinformation about Mostaba Khomeini's health and leadership status, showing how outlets continue to treat him as a credible threat despite reports he is in a coma and incapacitated. Additionally, Tara examines late-night comedy and media coverage, noting how Iran has become off-limits, while Americans are mocked instead, creating a “fake reality” for viewers. She frames this manipulation as part of a larger Democratic alignment with Iran, undermining U.S. interests both domestically and abroad. KEY TALKING POINTS Democrats prioritize messaging against Trump over calling Iran a terrorist state Gas prices spike back to Biden-era averages amid Iran conflict Media continues to misrepresent Mostaba Khomeini as a military threat despite being incapacitated Late-night comedy targets U.S. and allies while Iran is treated as untouchable Democrats' strategy aligns with long-term goals to influence public opinion and policy Military updates: Operation Epic Fury, nuclear and missile targets, friendly-fire incidents from allies The “fake reality” created by media and politicians skews public understanding of war and energy policy SOCIAL MEDIA BLURB Democrats siding with Iran? As tensions with Iran escalate, Democrats suddenly claim to care about rising gas prices—despite years of supporting policies designed to increase them. Tara breaks down the political messaging war happening alongside the military conflict and explains how Iran's strategy relies on weakening American public support for President Trump. Meanwhile, reports suggest Iran's leadership may be in chaos, missile attacks are dropping, and U.S. operations are hitting key Iranian infrastructure. Tara also reflects on the tragic loss of U.S. service members after a KC-135 crash in Iraq and what the latest military moves around Kharg Island could mean for the next phase of the conflict. SUMMARY This episode examines the political and military narratives surrounding the U.S. conflict with Iran. Tara argues that Iran cannot defeat the United States militarily and is instead focusing on shaping American public opinion through political pressure and media narratives. Democrats are now warning about rising gas prices caused by the war—despite years of advocating policies designed to raise fuel costs to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. Tara contrasts today's fuel prices with the record highs during the Biden administration, when inflation peaked and gasoline exceeded five dollars per gallon. The episode also explores reports of chaos within Iran's leadership after the death of the Ayatollah and the possible incapacitation of his successor. With Iranian missile attacks reportedly declining and key energy infrastructure under pressure, analysts suggest the U.S. campaign has been strategically effective so far. However, risks remain. The U.S. may deploy several hundred Marines to secure Kharg Island, a critical Iranian oil export hub. Tara warns that any American casualties could quickly become political leverage for critics of the war at home. Finally, the show honors the American service members lost in the KC-135 crash in Iraq and reflects on the sacrifices made by the military during ongoing operations in the region. KEY TALKING POINTS Democrats warn about gas prices after years of supporting higher fuel costs Iran's strategy may rely on political pressure inside the U.S. Gas prices today compared to Biden-era inflation peaks Reports that Iran's leadership may be unstable or incapacitated Declining Iranian missile and drone attacks Strategic importance of Kharg Island operations Potential Marine deployment and risks on the ground Remembering the service members lost in the KC-135 crash SOCIAL MEDIA BLURB Democrats suddenly care about gas prices—but only after war with Iran begins. Tara exposes the political messaging battle happening at home while U.S. forces strike key Iranian targets abroad.
Tara breaks down today's top stories: Israel's covert and overt operations against Iran, the strategic moves reshaping oil markets, domestic security failures, and what you're not being told about flu and COVID vaccines. From geopolitics to public health, this episode exposes the untold connections influencing your world. SUMMARY Middle East & Iran Conflict: Iran's new leadership remains unseen publicly; proof of life is still demanded by many. Israel is leading covert operations, striking Hezbollah targets across Lebanon and taking out key Iranian nuclear scientists. Limited U.S. forces may be deployed in strategic zones, like the Strait of Hormuz, to control oil flow and pressure Iran economically. Regional conflict impacts 12+ countries, influencing Arab nations, Russia, India, China, and NATO dynamics. Israel's intelligence and military actions prevent a broader escalation and protect U.S. strategic interests. Global Energy & Oil Markets: Trump's lifting of Russian oil sanctions threatens to dramatically lower global oil prices, reversing artificial inflation caused by prior sanctions. Lower oil prices impact U.S. households, the global economy, and geopolitical leverage, including pressure on China and Russia. Democrats are panicking over oil price drops and the potential shift in global energy control. Public Health Insights: Flu vaccines: CDC reports 20–25 deaths per year, potentially underreported by 10x, with effectiveness as low as 25%. COVID vaccines: Adenovirus-based vaccines linked to rare blood clots; media coverage downplays risks and avoids full disclosure. Tara emphasizes informed consent, questioning medical guidance, and reviewing CDC data critically. Domestic Security & Policy Failures: Terror incidents in the U.S., including individuals with Hezbollah contacts, highlight gaps in immigration and gun enforcement policies. Straw purchasing loopholes and DOJ enforcement failures contributed to weapons ending up in criminal hands. Biden-era policies are analyzed as exacerbating domestic vulnerability to terrorist threats. Political Context & Strategy: U.S. global strategy is reshaping alliances, constraining Iran, and influencing energy flows. Trump's moves in energy, military readiness, and sanctions highlight contrasts with prior administration policies. Changes affect global power structures, including NATO, Russia, China, and Latin America, creating a pivotal historical inflection point. KEY TALKING POINTS Israel's multi-front operations in Lebanon and Iran Strategic implications of potential U.S. limited ground operations in the Middle East Global oil markets and Russian sanctions reversal Vaccine safety, CDC reporting, and public awareness Domestic security, immigration, and gun enforcement failures Broader geopolitical effects on NATO, China, Russia, and Latin America SOCIAL MEDIA BLURB Israel strikes, Iran tensions, global oil shocks
Tara breaks down Trump's warning to NATO over Iran, the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, and how U.S. energy independence is taking shape with new refineries. From international oil deals to Democrats' alignment with Iran and media misinformation, this episode exposes the stakes for America, allies, and global markets. SUMMARY In this episode, Tara unpacks Trump's message to NATO allies: help escort tankers through the Strait of Hormuz—or face consequences. She explains why the U.S. no longer depends heavily on Middle Eastern oil, how new domestic refineries will make energy cheaper, and why most “dumb” policy decisions strangely benefit China. Tara highlights the geopolitical calculus: Trump is calling out specific allies like China, France, Japan, South Korea, and the UK, while leaving oil-dependent Asian countries out to facilitate energy deals. She explains how controlling Hormuz allows the U.S. to secure dollar-based oil pricing and prevent China's shadow fleet from dominating trade. The podcast also debunks media narratives that Trump had no plan for Hormuz, showing his decades-long strategy and pre-existing military preparations, including missile strikes on Carg Island. Tara emphasizes the risks for U.S. Marines tasked with securing the island, noting how Democrats and media might exploit casualties to weaken the U.S. position. Finally, she explores the energy and economic impacts, comparing current gas prices with Biden-era highs, and highlights how Democrats' political strategy aligns with Iran's interests, while Trump strengthens America's energy independence and geopolitical leverage. KEY TALKING POINTS Trump warns NATO: show up for Hormuz or face consequences U.S. already militarily and economically decimated Iran New Texas refinery to refine light sweet crude, cutting dependence on foreign oil Allies' inaction exposes weakness of NATO and UN commitments Strategic oil deals with India, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines Importance of controlling the Strait of Hormuz for dollar-denominated oil trade Operation Epic Fury: Carg Island strikes, securing military and oil infrastructure Democrats' messaging aligns with Iran's interests; media spreads misinformation Gas prices and energy independence explained SOCIAL MEDIA BLURB Trump calls out NATO & Iran allies over Hormuz!
The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)'s respective approaches to handling antitrust enforcement matters can go through notable changes in the transition between presidential administrations, creating uncertainty in how antitrust functions in service of shifting priorities. In this episode of In the Public Interest, co-host Jekkie Kim speaks with WilmerHale Partner Susan Musser, who recently joined the firm's Antitrust Practice after serving as the Acting Bureau Director and Chief Trial Counsel of the FTC's Bureau of Competition. Drawing from her experiences under both the Biden and second Trump administrations, Musser discusses the key similarities and differences in their approaches to antitrust enforcement, highlighting how it is used as a tool in both instances but for differing purposes. She also examines the impact this approach to enforcement is currently having and will continue to have on technology and AI companies' ability to innovate.

1. No Endless War or Ground Occupation Strong emphasis that this is not Iraq or Afghanistan: No large ground invasion No nation-building No long-term occupation Military strategy described as rapid, overwhelming, air-dominant action. Confidence that U.S. casualties will be minimal and duration short. 2. Military Action Against Iran Is Justified as Self-Defense The conflict is framed as a response to 47 years of Iranian aggression, including: Sponsorship of terrorism Killing nearly a thousand Americans Attempted assassinations of U.S. officials Iran is described as an irrational, theocratic death cult, making deterrence unreliable. Nuclear capability in Iran is portrayed as an existential threat to U.S. cities. 3. This Is “America First,” Not a War for Israel Repeated rejection of claims that the war is driven by Israel or Jewish influence. Such claims are labeled dishonest, antisemitic, and propaganda. The stated motivation: protecting American lives and national security. 4. Gas Prices Are a Short-Term Political Weapon Gas price increases are framed as temporary and expected due to Middle East conflict. Democrats are accused of exploiting gas prices the same way they previously focused on egg prices. The speaker argues prices are still lower than under Biden, despite rising from recent lows. Long-term expectation: Iran’s collapse would lower global gas prices. 5. Strong Leadership vs. Weak Appeasement Trump is decisive and feared by adversaries. Obama and Biden are criticized for appeasement and failed nuclear deals. Past diplomatic failures (North Korea, Iran nuclear deal) are cited as evidence diplomacy failed. 6. Harsh Criticism of Tucker Carlson and Isolationists Tucker Carlson is accused of: Spreading anti-American propaganda Echoing Islamist narratives Undermining U.S. troops His statements about unconditional surrender and nuclear escalation are called: False Dangerous Morally grotesque Isolationist conservatives are grouped with progressive Democrats as a shared threat to U.S. foreign policy. 7. Iranian Regime Change Is Seen as Necessary The appointment of a new Iranian leader (son of the former Ayatollah) is rejected. Any continuation of clerical Islamist rule is deemed unacceptable. Regime collapse is framed as the only path to lasting security. 8. Deterrence Fails with Religious Extremism Comparison between North Korea and Iran: North Korea: dangerous but rational Iran: irrational due to religious ideology Argument: Traditional nuclear deterrence does not work with actors who glorify martyrdom. 9. Public Opinion Depends on Duration and Casualties Acknowledgment that support would collapse if: War drags on for years U.S. casualties rise significantly Confidence expressed that this outcome is “near zero.” 10. Closing Shift to Religion and AI Ends with an unexpected, uplifting segment: An AI-generated Christian apologetic is quoted at length. The response argues Christianity is intellectually compelling, historically grounded, and uniquely truthful. This week on the Mark Levin Show, the ISIS attack in New York carried out by two young immigrants is unfortunately only the beginning of such incidents. Iran has pre-positioned hit squads because of the Biden administration's open borders and Democratic leaders like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. Mayor Mamdani's response to this terrorism was appalling. Then, for the media, and now for most politicians, what's most important is not winning this war against Iran AND ensuring it's not replaced by another monstrous regime, but the price of gasoline on a daily basis. Of course, when phony climate change policies were being instituted and drove up the price of gasoline, oil, electricity, automobiles, etc., we didn't get a daily barrage of such reports. But now, we even get charts and other graphics showing us the day-to-day increase in gasoline. If this military campaign is ended prematurely, and the second phase of ensuring the institution of a civil government is not accomplished, chances are this entire effort will be for naught. The economic, geo-political, and national security gains, which have been immense, and the stated goal of liberating the Iranian people, which initiated this process, could become a disaster in every respect -- including political. The ruling class elitists in Europe and America betrayed their countries by refusing honest debate about uncontrolled immigration of Islamists. These elites encouraged and allowed overwhelming border surges, motivated partly by Islamist strategies to conquer the West. In the U.S., Democrats pursued open borders, try to defund enforcement like ICE to build a future voting base of illegal immigrants. Islamists will vote Democrat temporarily before ultimately destroying both parties and taking over, as seen in parts of Europe, NYC, and Dearborn. The NYC terrorist attack is an example: two young Muslim men, inspired by ISIS, attempted to bomb an anti-Islamist protest, shouting "Allahu Akbar" but the devices failed. Mainstream media and Democrats downplayed or obscured the Islamist terrorist motive, framing it vaguely as devices at an anti-Muslim rally, condemning Islamophobia instead, and avoiding the truth of a near-mass-casualty jihadist attack, which the speaker sees as part of a broader pattern of cover-up by media and elites who tolerate or support such threats. Later, the SAVE America act is a no brainer and Democrats desperately oppose it because they benefit from fraudulent practices enabled by big-city political machines. Sen Chuck Schumer acts like a modern George Wallace by insisting everyone should vote—not just legal voters—allowing illegal ballots, double voting, or votes for the deceased to neutralize legitimate votes. Much of this fraud is allegedly legalized, making proof difficult and necessitating stricter statutes like voter ID requirements. The United States is a nation at war with itself, dividing Americans into two sides: patriotic, red-blooded citizens who love their country on one side, and elected Democrats in Washington—along with their operatives, Marxists, Islamists, the woke Reich neo-fascists—on the other. The Democrat Party policies undermine national security and sovereignty, such as opening borders to unvetted illegal aliens for years, allowing dangerous individuals to remain in the country. There are escalating attacks targeting Jews and Jewish facilities, such as the attack on the Temple Israel synagogue in Michigan. Then there's the shooting at Old Dominion University by a gunman was previously convicted for ISIS support. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Oil prices are exploding past $93 a barrel as Trump's unconditional surrender demand sends shockwaves through markets—but here's the real inflation culprit nobody's talking about, and why the Fed's rate cuts are about to make everything worse.- This episode is sponsored by Pebl. Download Netsuite's free business guide, Demystifying AI, at https://netsuite.com/goldPeter Schiff analyzes the massive oil price surge following Trump's Iran war, with crude jumping from $90 to over $119 per barrel before pulling back slightly as countries coordinate strategic petroleum reserve releases. Schiff argues that while rising oil prices don't directly cause inflation, the government's monetary and fiscal response to fund the war and rebuild Iran will trigger massive money printing and borrowing, creating real inflation across all goods. He criticizes Trump's economic lies, including false claims about $18 trillion in foreign investment and job creation numbers that show only 181,000 jobs created in 2025 versus 2.2 million under Biden's final year.Schiff expresses outrage over Trump's campaign against Congressman Thomas Massey in Kentucky, calling Massey "the best congressman we have" and the only Republican who truly stands for constitutional principles, limited government, and fiscal responsibility. He explains that Massey voted against Trump's "big beautiful" tax bill because it increased spending without corresponding cuts, making it a disguised tax hike rather than genuine tax relief. Schiff sees Trump's attack on Massey as proof that Trump opposes real conservative principles, preferring rubber-stamp politicians over principled representatives who honor their constitutional oath.Chapters:00:00:00 Show Cold Open00:00:55 War and Oil Shock00:09:45 Inflation and Fed Blame00:16:20 Unconditional Surrender Walkback00:21:57 Dollar Power and Gold Outlook00:29:31 Mining Stocks Selloff00:31:14 Oil Spike and Profits00:32:24 How to Buy Exposure00:33:41 CPI and Inflation Reality00:37:27 Massey Trump and MediaFollow @peterschiffX: https://twitter.com/peterschiffInstagram: https://instagram.com/peterschiffTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@peterschiffofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/peterschiffFree Reports & Market Updates: https://www.europac.comBook Store: https://schiffradio.com/booksSign up for Peter's most valuable insights at https://schiffsovereign.comSchiff Gold News: https://www.schiffgold.com/news#PeterSchiffShow #OilPrices #GoldInvestingOur Sponsors:* Check out Quince: https://quince.com/GOLD* Check out TruDiagnostic and use my code GOLD20 for a great deal: https://www.trudiagnostic.comPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

On Monday's Mark Levin Show, President Trump speaks live from Doral, Florida on the latest from the Iran war, Cuba, Venezuela, Russia and the SAVE America Act. Operation Epic Fury has to be done right rather than quickly. There needs to be careful planning to avoid leaving conditions for another repressive, genocidal Islamist regime to emerge. The isolationists on TV and elsewhere who previously opposed the President's military operation—saying it violated Trump's campaign promises and undermined MAGA—now all of a sudden praise it as a spectacular success. They are rewriting history, and sound like the left with forever war slogans despite no massive U.S. ground troops or endless involvement. Also, the ISIS attack in New York carried out by two young immigrants is unfortunately only the beginning of such incidents. Iran has pre-positioned hit squads because of the Biden administration's open borders and Democratic leaders like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. Mayor Mamdani's response to this terrorism was appalling. Later, Chuck DeVore calls in describes Operation Epic Fury as going exceptionally well. Devore attributes the success to major advancements in air power combined with exquisite intelligence sharing with allies like Israel and rapid targeting capabilities.
