An international team of researchers led by the University of Cambridge's Professor Stephen O'Rahilly have discovered that sensitivity to the hormone GDF15 may cause severe morning sickness during pregnancy. Dr Marlena Fejzo, who took part in the study, tells us more. Back in September, the OSIRIS-REx craft dropped a sample from the asteroid Bennu into the Utah desert. Now, scientists around the world have started studying the dust fragments in earnest. We join Dr Ashley King from the Natural History Museum in London and beamline scientist Dr Sharif Ahmed as they embark on their research. Professor Scott Fendorf, from the University of Stanford, reveals that wildfire smoke contains heavy metals, which may be why it's so damaging to our health. Dr Junjie Yao from Duke University has worked on a new 'sono-ink'. This ink can be used to 3D print structures within the body, which can be used to mend tissues, bones and organs. Among the 2019 awardees, several research areas align with themes mentioned in biblical prophecies, such as the Days of Noah, AI advancements, One World Systems, and Science opposing the Word of God. This Fishcast dives into the research areas of the recognized scholars and explores how some of these advancements could potentially be misused for nefarious purposes, drawing parallels with the biblical concept of "iron mixed with clay." Days of Noah - Biohack Technology / Transhumanism / Seed War: The Days of Noah are often associated with a period of great technological advancement and moral degradation. Among the recognized young researchers, Ilana Brito from Cornell University made significant contributions to understanding the human microbiome and its implications for combating infectious diseases. Denise Morais da Fonseca's work focused on how the immune system recovers from infectious diseases in low- to middle-income countries. These advancements in biotechnology could lead to medical breakthroughs but could also raise ethical concerns if used to manipulate the human genome or engineer living organisms for harmful purposes, reflecting the idea of "biohack technology" and "seed war." Think about the plandemic. How can their research be highjacked for evil? AI - God, Quantum Computers: Advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and quantum computing have the potential to revolutionize various industries. Kim Young-Min from Seoul National University specializes in creating 3D models to facilitate tele-presence in augmented reality apps and assist robots in interacting with humans. Reminds me of men shall seek death and not find it. Or, live forever in Meta. Additionally, the research of Thomas Hermans from the University of Strasbourg focuses on designing self-replicating living systems and materials. While these developments have positive applications, there is concern that unchecked AI and self-replicating technologies could challenge the role of a higher power and blur the boundaries between creation and creator. It seems like science is playing God. One World Systems - New Laws: The concept of a globalized society with unified systems and new laws aligns with biblical prophecies of a "One World System." Ruth Morgan from University College London established an interdisciplinary forensic science research unit to minimize unsafe rulings in criminal justice systems. While the pursuit of a just legal system is commendable, in the context of a One World System, there could be potential risks of centralized control and loss of individual freedoms. Science Countering the Word of God: The Bible often speaks of conflicting ideologies and practices that challenge divine teachings. Ashley King from The Natural History Museum analyzes extraterrestrial materials to understand Earth's origins, while Wang Yihua from Fudan University explores quantum computing possibilities. Though these scientific endeavors aim to deepen our understanding of the world, conflicts may arise if interpretations clash with Biblical truth. Concerns of Iron Mixed with Clay: The biblical concept of "iron mixed with clay" signifies a mixture of strength and fragility, representing an unstable union. In the context of these research areas, advancements in technology, AI, and global governance could offer tremendous benefits but also come with potential risks if misused. For instance, the mind-control technologies and loss of free will, although theoretical at this stage, could pose ethical challenges if exploited to manipulate or control individuals. Conclusion: The recognition of young researchers by the World Economic Forum for their groundbreaking work is a testament to human ingenuity and determination to solve global challenges. However, it is essential to acknowledge that every scientific advancement carries both promises and potential dangers. As we continue to explore the frontiers of science and technology, it is crucial to ensure responsible and ethical use, safeguarding against misuse and manipulation. In light of biblical prophecies, it is essential for society to be vigilant and discerning, understanding the potential ramifications of scientific advancements on human values and your SOUL. Next, we cover the WEF future of education that we dissect as an online AI future to always check in and be audited. It is time to seek real wisdom and get saved and not enslaved.

Ashley King is an online fitness trainer and model, mom of three boys, former body builder, and most recently a strong supporter and follower of the vegan diet. Ashley details her experience in transitioning to a more plant-based lifestyle after dealing with a number of digestive issues, all of which cleared when she removed animal protein from her daily meal plan. This conversation focuses specifically on that journey, and the research that Ashley has uncovered in adopting this approach to her nutrition. Ashley's road to a healthy lifestyle has been paved with powerful life lessons. Life lessons that had torn her down, then pushed her to become a better version of herself. Struggling with drinking in her early 20's, Ashley went through incredibly difficult times for years on end. Rather than simply accepting defeat, Ashley rose to the challenge to turn her life around. She saw sobriety as the only way out. Living a clean, healthy lifestyle was her light at the end of the tunnel. This critical moment in Ashley's life has become the foundation for her very life's purpose-- it now fuels her everyday. In seeing the radical impact that fitness and nutrition played in turning her life around, Ashley became obsessed with helping others make the transformation in their lives. Ashley firmly believes that getting fit allows you to feel like the most ideal version of yourself, and that inner sense of self-love and confidence carries throughout every aspect of your life. Getting fit in mind and body is what helped Ashley make a massive transformation in her life, and that is the driving force behind every product and service she offers as a coach. In this episode, we discuss: - The importance of fitness and exercise for the sake of feeling good in your skin - Ashley's decision to follow a plant-based diet, and more recently, a vegan diet - Some of the common misconceptions around being vegan and/or plant-based - Finding the specific diet that works BEST for you - The benefits of weightlifting to build the "toned" physique that so many women seek This conversation is brought to you by Paleovalley. #001. I was a caregiver for my father who had Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and I'm currently a caregiver for my mother with Alzheimer's. Divorced and living in two different states, they were both diagnosed in 2017, but showed cognitive memory issues years prior. In that same year I moved my Dad into an apartment closer to me, literally 5 blocks away. Within a year I needed to hire professional help to take care of him as I divided my time between two households and working a full-time job. Some of it is still a blur, but the arrival of my brother in 2019 was pivotal as we both focused on making sure both Mom and Dad were safe and comfortable. Dad died November of 2019. This year I went part-time at my job to give Mom more focused attention and in return, pay more attention to my physical and mental health as we walk this journey together. I asked my friend and co-worker, Ashley King, to sit with me to help tell just part of my story.

Scientists say the record-breaking Pacific North-West heatwave of recent weeks must have been caused by human induced climate change, but as Geert Jan van Oldenborgh explains to Roland Pease, despite a herculean effort to analyse the event in just a week, the precise mechanism to cause such an extreme and sudden event is so far bewildering climate modellers, exceeding even worst expectations. Looking to the skies, Rosita Kokotanekova of the European Southern Observatory and colleagues have been getting excited about the discovery of a comet maybe twice as large as any observed before. Being so big, it has been spotted much further out from the sun and – if the best telescopes can be convinced to join the fun – will provide astronomers a chance to observe the core of the comet before the solar heat induces a gaseous coma to form as it nears the point in its orbit closest to the sun. It will be around for the next decade before continuing its several million year journey around our mutual star. But it won't get terribly close to earth, at least not as close as lumps of an asteroid that fell onto a driveway in the UK earlier this year. Dr Ashley King of the UK's Natural History Museum is leading a consortium of scientists (benefitting from a rapid research grant by the UK's STFC) who have now officially classified it and named it. The Winchcombe meteorite is a CM carbonaceous chondrite, meaning it represents the unspoilt early building blocks of the solar system. Falling like 4.5 billion year old leftover celestial lego, only a few are known around the world but perhaps none have been in scientists hands in such a short period of time, continuing its pristine survival. Dr Pablo Tsukayama has published a preprint paper announcing a new variant of interest in the ongoing evolution of the SARS-CoV2 virus. Now named by the WHO as the Lambda variant, it seems it has driven the pandemic for much of this year in Peru – as much as 80% of cases – and large fractions of the outbreak elsewhere in South America. But as Pablo suggests, the reason we don't know as much about it as for example the Alpha or Delta variants is likely because it hasn't thus far affected the countries best equipped to do the analysis. Maybe that could change. Standing takes less energy than walking, so why does it feel more tiring? At least, it does for CrowdScience listener Nina. She can march for hours without getting tired, but her legs and feet get achy after just a short time standing still. It's one of three walking-themed questions CrowdScience is tackling this week. Taking inspiration from our active listeners, Marnie Chesterton walks up a hill with Caroline Williams, author of a new book about why humans are designed to move. We find out how our whole system – body and brain – works better when we're walking, compared to standing still. We're probably set up this way because of our evolutionary history: hunting and gathering needed us to be ‘cognitively engaged endurance athletes'. We stop for a break.. but is it true that we shouldn't sit down to rest during a walk? Our listener Sarah is a keen hillwalker but likes to take the weight off her feet every now and again. Her hillwalking friends disapprove, saying she should rest on her feet. Is this a myth CrowdScience can bust? And finally a question from listener Matteo: is walking or running better for your health? Numerous studies show significant benefits to both forms of exercise, but in the end, the best kind of exercise is the one you're motivated to do. Image: Wildfires in Lytton, British Columbia Credit: ProPics Canada Media Ltd/Getty Images Presenter: Roland Pease Producer: Alex Mansfield
John Ashley was the so called "King Of The Everglades" and for good reason. Throughout the 1910s and early 20's he and his gang ran South Florida, operating several stills in the hard to reach swamp lands which resulted in a lengthy feud with the local Sheriff. In addition to being involved in illegal alcohol, John was also a successful bank robber, netting nearly a million dollars from at least 40 banks. He was so feared that other illegal rum runners quit operating near his territory so they wouldn't be killed. John's story is a 1920's "wild west' story that you have to hear to believe!

So there you have it - an interview, some dirty talk, interesting stories, and even some intellectual discussion. What more could you ask for?
