-Rob shares the deeply personal story of his journey from battling alcoholism and selling cars to becoming a national Newsmax host, announcing that he'll soon broadcast directly from Newsmax's studio and thanking listeners for riding shotgun through the adventure. -Rob applauds efforts to restore the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool after vandals damaged the landmark, joking that the only thing spreading faster than algae was the internet's ability to blame President Trump for it before the arrests were even made. -Newsmax Hotline Guest – Christian Toto, founder of HollywoodInToto.com: Christian previews several upcoming films, including Young Washington, which he praises as an inspiring and historically grounded look at George Washington's early military career. -Rob wraps up the week urging listeners to overwhelm the left with "joy, faith, and patriotism," reminding everyone that perseverance beats panic—and, as always, to "not catch the stupid." Episode 630: Another moment of the Red Sox season that feels like rock bottom comes at the hands of the Colorado Rockies. The Red Sox dropped two of three in Colorado in a series that felt like Boston could have swept. The guys try to digest the disappointing series and discuss just how bad this season has been. They also break down Jarren Duran's ongoing struggles and react to Craig Breslow's latest ridiculous comments about potentially not selling at the trade deadline. One of the most frustrating parts of this season has been wasting a really strong Red Sox pitching staff. Jake Bennett's potential emergence adds even more speculation around possible trades, so the 10 talks about which players they're attached to and who they could realistically see moved. We also get an update on the POTY race, hear about Tyler's first job, and mentally prepare for a tough four-game series against the Yankees — where history tells us there's usually some news. 00:00:00 - This Team Sucks. 00:07:29 - Chapman Pitching Hurt. 00:11:19 - The Jarren Duran Situation. 00:22:10 - Rock Bottom? 00:24:55 - Sell, Sell, Sell. 00:34:21 - Wasting This Pitching Staff is a Crime. 00:39:43 - The Craig Breslow Quotes 00:42:22 - Just a Baseball? 00:52:24 - Jared's Nomar Auto & Brian Wilson, Starting 9 Alumni. 00:58:21 - Laugh or Cry? 01:02:14 - Who are We Attached To on This Team? 01:06:22 - Wilyer Abreu's Extremely Confusing Splits 01:11:05 - Is Jared's House Burning Down? 01:12:23 - POTY Race Update 01:14:21 - Taikus 01:15:02 - Shoutout To Our Pals at Baseball Lifestyle 101 01:20:55 - Tyler's First Job. 01:25:55 - Unreal, Thank You Delta. 01:27:56 - What Makes Seasons Like This Even Worse 01:50:31 - Prepare For News This Weekend 01:59:02 - Will Sonny Gray be Traded? 02:00:56 - Would You Trade Wilyer Abreu? + 62-100 02:06:41 - 1/10 Odds? 02:14:00 - MLB Draft Coming Soon 02:26:39 - Stop and Shop 02:33:21 - Weather Lookahead 02:35:50 - Prediction Time 02:39:43 - Final Thoughts SECTION 10 MERCH IS HERE: https://section10merch.com/ Trade $20 Get $20 on Kalshi - https://app.kalshi.com/1r91/Section10 Sign Up For Our Patreon for more Section 10 Content! https://www.patreon.com/cw/section10podcast Get Blue Moon Non-Alcoholic Belgian White Belgian-Style Wheat Brew delivered by visiting http://get.bluemoonbeer.com/JARED for delivery options Find out why Nutrafol is the best-selling hair growth supplement brand. -Rob spends a good chunk of the hour marveling that the Democratic Party somehow landed on Graham Plattner as a Senate candidate, then wonders aloud whether the party's vetting process consists entirely of skimming a résumé and hoping nobody checks the internet. -The Obama Presidential Center becomes an unexpected comedy prop as Rob points out the irony that visitors need photo identification for free admission while many Democrats continue opposing voter-ID requirements. If you've ever believed alcohol is what makes nights out, parties or social events enjoyable, this conversation may completely change the way you think about drinking. What if the confidence, laughter and connection you've been giving credit to alcohol were actually there all along? In this next quick thought, I revisit a conversation with William porter and the surprising psychology behind socialising, why alcohol can become a placebo, and how it quietly convinces us we need it to relax. Understanding this one idea could change the way you experience every social occasion. Many people assume alcohol creates happiness, confidence and connection. But what if those feelings come from something much more natural? We explore the science behind endorphins, why social situations feel rewarding without alcohol, and how drinking can gradually convince us that we need it just to enjoy ourselves. We discuss why children naturally relax and have fun without alcohol, how regular drinking changes our expectations of social events, and why so many people believe they can't enjoy a party, holiday or night at the pub without a drink. We also talk about learning to feel comfortable again without chemical interference, the role of alcohol-free drinks in recovery, and why every recovery journey is different.Whether you're sober, sober curious, questioning your relationship with alcohol, or supporting someone who is, this episode offers a fresh perspective on one of the biggest myths surrounding drinking.Listen or watch THE FULL EPISODEYouTube - https://tinyurl.com/yxkh2enySpotify - https://tinyurl.com/bdfj6568Apple - https://apple.co/3PajZvQAbout the “THOUGHT” series -Every other Monday at 5 PM, I'll bring you a quick ‘thought'—a powerful moment from previous episodes designed to kickstart your week with insight, motivation, and connection. Strategy's preferred stock just suffered its biggest collapse yet, raising serious questions about leverage, dividend coverage, and Michael Saylor's promise to never sell Bitcoin. The deeper story is not just about the math. It is about trust, financial engineering, and whether Bitcoin investors fully understood the risks they were taking. As pressure builds on STRC, this may be the clearest warning yet about choosing yield over self-custody.SPONSORS:

In this coaching session, I sit down with Sean as he opens up about addiction, childhood emotional neglect, self-worth, and the internal pressure that followed him into adulthood. If you've been eating less, exercising more, and still experiencing unwanted body changes, this episode is for you. Natalie Jill, a Licensed Master Sports Nutritionist and functional fitness trainer, joins Dr. Stephanie for a peer-to-peer conversation between two women in the fitness industry who have seen the same broken patterns and concluded that the plan most women follow is not suitable for them. Natalie's journey from rock bottom to 13 magazine covers in her 40s and 50s was not due to a better diet plan, but rather a complete overhaul of her False Assumed Truths (F.A.T.). She discusses the mechanics behind why chronic cardio is counterproductive in midlife, the accelerating bone loss caused by ellipticals, the falsehood of three sets of twelve, and the necessity of changing beliefs before any protocol can work. This rare episode features two practitioners in the same space, with the same audience, comparing notes honestly. Andrew Nycz went from rock bottom to running a thriving video production business in South Florida—and his story is proof you really can rebuild from just about anything. In this episode, he shares how he validated a brand-new podcast offer with cheap Facebook ads before signing his first studio lease, why hiring editors was the smartest first move he made, and how he keeps a remote team that feels more like family. It's part business strategy, part comeback story, and all heart. Key Takeaways Test demand before you commit. Andrew ran $5/day ads for his podcast offer before signing a lease—proving the interest was there without the risk. Editors are the easiest first hire. Pulling editing off his plate freed Andrew up to focus on production, sales, and marketing. Great hiring is really about leadership. Patience, clear SOPs, and letting people inside your head turn a new editor into a great one. A fresh start can change everything. Moving to Florida and getting sober rebuilt Andrew's life and reignited his passion for video. About Andrew Nycz Andrew Nycz is a filmmaker and founder of Nycz Productions, a South Florida–based media company helping brands, entrepreneurs, and organizations scale through strategic video and storytelling. That journey continues to shape the way he shows up today: as both a creator and a strategic partner to the clients he works with. He has been proudly married to his wife Jennifer for 8 years, and together they are raising their two children, Layla and Daxton—who remain his greatest source of purpose and motivation. Andrew specializes in building full-scale content ecosystems, from podcast production and short-form distribution to brand stories and long-form narrative content. This is the full story. All of it. McDonald's store manager. Royal Marines. Sniper. Physical Training Instructor. Divorce. Alcohol. Rock bottom. Minutes away from taking my own life. A picture of my kids. A three-hour walk in the dark. And the decision to rebuild. In this episode, I share my complete origin story — from a rough childhood of abandonment, through nine years in the Royal Marines, to the darkest period of my life, and how I built everything back from nothing to create the work I do today. Inside this episode: •Growing up with abandonment and how it shaped everything that followed •Why watching Black Hawk Down and a Royal Marines advert changed the entire direction of my life •Nine years in the Royal Marines: becoming a sniper, a PTI, and training thousands of recruits •The decision to leave the military for my children — and the identity crisis that followed •PTSD, alcohol, divorce, and coming minutes away from suicide in November 2012 •The picture of my kids that stopped me — and the three-hour walk that changed everything •How I built Body Shock Fitness from £6,000 to £106,000 in year one — and nearly destroyed myself doing it •My best-selling books, the online business, and the evolution into working with six to eight-figure business owners •Why I started therapy in January 2026 — and what it has unlocked This is not a highlight reel. This is the real story of what it takes to build a life worth living. If you are ready to start your own rebuild, book a call: https://link.coachmatic.app/widget/bookings/coaching-call-with-jt Let's get to work.
DJ Fat Tony has spent over four decades at the centre of British nightlife. He has DJed for Madonna, Prince and Elton John. He has played Glastonbury, Ibiza, and everywhere in between. He is one of the most recognisable figures in the global party scene. And for nearly three decades, he was also dying.By the time he reached his breaking point, he had almost no teeth left, weighed barely seven stone, and believed it was over. In 2007, he went into rehab. Today he is 19 years clean and sober. But this episode is not about that story. It is about what came after.Tony does not arrive with a polished redemption arc. He arrives with the version most people never tell — the rock bottom that happened six years into sobriety, when the substances were gone but the behaviour was not. Sex addiction. Drama. Ego. Homelessness again. The slow, humiliating realisation that getting clean is only the beginning. We go back to the beginning too. A Battersea council estate. A family soaked in addiction. A child who learned by age three that being ill got him attention, and built an entire survival strategy around chaos and crisis long before he ever touched a drink or a drug. Tony traces the through-line from that child to the man who, years into recovery, was still running the same patterns — performing in meetings, manipulating sponsors, using recovery itself as the newest addiction. What unfolds is a masterclass in the difference between sobriety and recovery. Tony breaks down powerlessness and what it actually means once you are no longer using it as an excuse. He talks about the 12 steps with the authority of someone who has both lived them and failed them. He is forensic about amends — why early apologies in recovery are almost always self-serving, why his own father told him to come back when he actually knew what he was apologising for, and why the only amends that count are the ones you live rather than speak. He also talks about sponsorship with a level of honesty that is rare. Picking sponsors to manipulate. Sponsoring people he was attracted to. The moment he finally got a sponsor who would not let him perform his way through the steps — and how that person changed everything.Tony's new book, Recover Me, is the book he had to write after his memoir I Don't Take Requests told the world a version of the story he had not yet been fully honest about. He talks about recording the audiobook and hearing himself read things he had previously suppressed. The shame versus embarrassment distinction that freed him. The moment he realised the more honest he became, the more free he felt. This conversation ends not in darkness but in something quieter and more powerful than just being drug free. Tony talks about the pinch-me moments that only become visible when chaos is no longer the baseline. From looking at his dog asleep in the morning to DJing to twenty thousand people and knowing the real success is simply waking up and being glad to be alive.Oliver is an ambassador for Alcohol Change UK, support here - https://tinyurl.com/5dt5773eSponsor -www.gavinsisters.co.ukpromo code SCHOOLOFROCKBOTTOM for 10% off!Support the pod https://www.paypal.me/olivermason1paypalTopics -0:00 Trailer & Intro4:10 A rock bottom moment7:00 Sex addiction8:30 Attention was my first drug!11:00 Addicted do drama?!13:30 Was Tony born an addict?16:50 Breaking the stigma20:30 Helping others23:45 Are war stories important?26:45 Is Tony powerless?32:30 Changing meetings34:15 Anonymous?!35:50 Recovery and self validation37:45 Shop around for recovery40:50 Tony gets really honest43:50 Guilt vs shame45:45 Making amends51:15 Sponsorship54:15 The 90/10 rule55:45 Pinch moments & recovery58:10 Turn anxiety into drive!Follow Tony Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/dj_fattony_Tony's new book -https://geni.us/Recover_Me”Follow Oliverhttps://linktr.ee/olivermasonLinksYouTube - https://tinyurl.com/276aa99dApple - https://tinyurl.com/y3n2chk3

Today's guest is a Grammy winner, a two-time Billboard #1 artist, and one of the defining pop voices of the last decade. But her real story isn't the anthems or the awards. It's the part that plays like a rollercoaster and teaches like a masterclass: how she almost quit, what going #1 actually felt like, and everything about the music business nobody explains until you've survived it.The press version skips the touring deficits, the depression at the top, and the moment in an Echo Park apartment when she nearly took a job at Smoothie King. The question underneath everything she says: once you stop chasing the metric and the moment — who do you become? And The Writer Is... Lizzo! In this episode of And The Writer Is, we go deep on:• Why she wanted to quit music the day "Truth Hurts" went #1 — and the 2017 low point that was actually worse• The touring economics no one explains: how you gross $1M and still finish the year in the red• Why the indie grind that built her, in her view, no longer leads to the mainstream• "She stopped giving a fuck about what we wanted" — Beyoncé's self-titled as a blueprint for artistic autonomy• Why she only talks to people who buy her music — and what comment sections do to her nervous system• The bumper-sticker hook theory — why "Truth Hurts" works when it breaks every rule• Writing "About Damn Time": 83 versions of the chorus, and how the simplest line won• Robert Glasper's lesson: there's no such thing as a wrong note• Why good songs don't sound great at first — watching "Good as Hell" go from silly to gospel• "I make whatever the f*** I want" — and why arriving at that sentence took everything before itAnd much more...

UFC World Champion Miesha Tate joins Dr. Will Cole for one of the most honest conversations about an athlete's relationship with food, hormones, and identity ever recorded on this show. Miesha shares her journey from a broke college kid fighting in a barn to winning a world title — and what it cost her: eating disorders, yo-yo dieting for 14 years, a hypothyroidism diagnosis at 19, losing her period after dropping to 125 pounds post-kids, and the moment after retiring that brought her to a breaking point. She also shares what actually healed her — spiritually, relationally, and physically — and why she's now on a mission to close the gender gap in hormonal research, starting with the luteal phase. Are triggers and cravings real, or have we misunderstood what's actually happening in addiction and recovery? In this next thought, I revisit a brilliant conversation with Pax as we challenge one of the most commonly used ideas in recovery: that external triggers cause relapse. For many people early in sobriety, it feels obvious. Certain places, people, stress, even cities become labelled as “the problem”. But what if that's not what's really going on?This conversation explores a more uncomfortable idea — that the trigger may not be external at all, but internal. Not the environment, but the interpretation. Not the situation, but the reaction. And if that's true, it completely changes how we think about relapse, responsibility, and control. We also go into cravings — what they actually are, when they're neurological and physical in early recovery, and how they're often mislabelled later on. At a certain point, is it still accurate to call it a craving, or is something else happening underneath it: obsession, emotional overload, or unresolved internal conflict? This is a conversation that challenges a lot of common language used in addiction recovery, and asks a simple but uncomfortable question: are we naming the problem correctly — or using the wrong language for what's actually happening inside us?Listen or watch THE FULL EPISODEYouTube - https://bit.ly/42vXUPfSpotify - https://bit.ly/4aBsmJUApple - https://apple.co/3PajZvQAbout the “THOUGHT” series -Every other Monday at 5 PM, I'll bring you a quick ‘thought'—a powerful moment from previous episodes designed to kickstart your week with insight, motivation, and connection. Resilience used to mean something. With each generation, we find comfort taking over inconveniences. Or, does strength just look different now? What should we do when we feel stuck in this modern world? Can we retrain our brains to overcome adversity or are we too far gone? In a world obsessed with shortcuts, motivation hacks, and instant gratification, Steve White argues that true transformation still comes down to one thing: learning how to keep getting up. After battling severe cognitive decline, alcoholism, seizures, depression, and near-suicidal hopelessness, Steve rebuilt his mind, body, and spirit from the ground up through relentless discipline, purpose-driven action, and a decision to fight for his life one day at a time. This conversation explores what modern society gets wrong about resilience, why younger generations are struggling to find meaning, how purpose and service create real strength, and what it practically takes to rebuild yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually in just 100 days. On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, congratulations to the terror lobby of Arabs and Islamists for successfully electing candidates to Congress exclusively within the Democrat Party, which is flooded with Marxists and Islamists. One such candidate is Adam Hamawy who traveled with the Blind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman as translator and witness on his behalf, plus his work in Bosnia with an Al Qaeda front group. Despite these ties, Hamawy has endorsements from Bernie Sanders, Ro Khanna, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Rashida Tlaib. The Democrat Party supports Nazis, Marxists, and Islamists for office. Meanwhile, Sen Democrat Chris Van Hollen is the Islamists' greatest friend in Congress for constantly attacking Israel, praising CAIR, defending Iran and Qatar, and authoring a New York Times op-ed calling to break with and defund Israel. Also, Mayor Zohran Mamdani's housing plan is a Marxist scheme to steal private property. His plan will crush private landlords through low rents, high taxes, and regulations designed to force foreclosures so the city can seize properties, which is legalized theft consistent with socialist and Marxist principles. In this story episode of Unashamed, Unafraid, Sam and Mason interview Cam, a BYU construction management student preparing to commission as a combat engineer officer. He tells how his porn addiction grew out of achievement pressure, comparison with high-achieving siblings, and deep shame. After moving frequently and living in a high-performance community, Cam internalized “you're stupid,” then attended a harmful youth program that taught him to see sexuality as evil and God as vengeful. Family stress, his dad losing a job, not getting into West Point, and later COVID intensified depression and escalated acting out, including on his mission. Through honest disclosure, therapy, sponsors, and “rescuing little Cam” with connection, self-care, and patience, Cam's view of God shifted to a loving, patient healer, and with support from his wife he now reports 15 months sober and a renewed sense of purpose.Make a donation and become an Outsider!Follow us on social media!
