POPULARITY
Matt gives a thorough breakdown of the emerging popularity of New Balances among his fellow youngs.
Asia propylene (C3) market is likely to see tighter short-term supply as China propane dehydrogenation (PDH) producers are now faced with surging propane import costs due to the US-China tariff hikes. While downstream demand and end-user consumption could be negatively impacted on tariff barriers. In this chemical podcast, ICIS senior analyst Joey Zhou and analyst Seymour Chenxia discuss what changes Asian C3 market is going to embrace in the US tariff upheaval. And the topics will be focusing on: 1. Asia propylene price trends and forecasts2. China PDH run rate could fall below 60% on surging costs3. Run rate for other production routes likely to rise4. Tariff impact to C3 derivatives and end-user consumption
Get ready to crank up the grill and the throttle! "Jorts & Horsepower" is a full-throttle anthem for every silver-haired Corvette king still tearing up the streets in tucked-in tees, New Balances, and a dream. From traffic light challenges to driveway car shows, this song is a tribute to the legends who prove style, speed, and denim dreams never age.
In this episode I talk about why I wish I at least temporarily had all my old New Balances back, weight loss, and having to change my sneaker collecting policy this year. I also talk about my latest Air Max 1 HUF and Air Max 86 Powerwall/BRS pickups. Thanks as always for listening AFS Squad! This week's pod is about Impromptu Match by Lily Mayne (book #1 in the Goliaths of Wrestling series)! It is about a man who works in a very boring office, but somehow finds himself connected to the very hot owner of an underground monster wrestling ring... the GOLIATHS OF WRESTLING! Lily, you rock, you're our favorite!
The Richley boys, Joe and John (or should we say, Taylor and Ian?) dive back into the world of the absurd with both FMK and Walk-Out segments. The New Balances stay on as one brother fantasizes about pasta-themed tattoos and the other obsesses over a favorite Star Trek character.
Can your choice of footwear really say that much about you? We kick things off with a lively chat on how sneakers like Jordans, Yeezys, and New Balances collide with societal norms in social and business settings. Personal stories highlight the tug-of-war between personal style and dress code restrictions, sparking a wider debate on individuality versus conformity. From our own experiences, we explore the balancing act businesses face in implementing dress codes without crossing into discrimination, all while sharing a few laughs and unexpected insights into what our sneaker choices might suggest about us.Switching gears, the episode shifts to the dynamics of football coaching and team leadership. With Julian Turner in the house, we dissect the Atlanta Falcons' search for a new defensive coordinator and the pulse of potential candidates like Wink Martindale and Steve Wilkes. Our conversation dances between the gridiron and the golden age of hip-hop, where we reminisce about icons like Future and Birdman. As we map out the paths to success for sports teams and musical legends alike, the importance of strategic changes and adaptability shines through, underlining the hope for brighter futures in both arenas. Finally, the spotlight turns to the Pittsburgh Steelers and their challenges, with our insider Julian sharing his thoughts on the team's ongoing identity crisis. The importance of smart management and bold decisions in the modern NFL is laid bare, with discussions on trading high-value players like TJ Watt to maximize their worth. We wrap up with a broader analysis of the Steelers' playoff drought, questioning whether legendary coach Mike Tomlin's tenure is still justified. Reflecting on football, music, and more, this episode invites listeners to ponder the complex intersections of personal style, societal expectations, and leadership dynamics in sports and beyond.Support the show

Nike gaat ongelofelijk slecht.

In this episode I review the Silver Surfer Dunk Low, my last anticipated pickup of the year as of now! Art, Warren, and Dante talk inside baseball about RADwood NorCal while Lane is on special assignment in Maui (for the record, Lane wore shorts the entire trip, and never wore jeans while on the island of Maui, and only wore his New Balances to and from the airport).
June Ambrose is a costume designer and creative director who's spent 30 years elevating the style of hip hop icons. She was there with Jay Z since the beginning, she was there when Missy Elliott signed her deal with Adidas, and she was there when Busta Rhymes needed exaggerated visuals to match his energy. In this episode, she relives her long resume, reflects on her Puma work, and dishes out some style advice. Also, cohosts Joe La Puma, Brendan Dunne, and Matt Welty talk about Jack Harlow's New Balances, upcoming Nike SB Dunks, and the LeBron James' potential sneaker for his last season in the NBA. It's the Monday leading into the Oilers' Round 2 matchup versus the Vancouver Canucks, which meant the boys had plenty to talk about on the new episode of the Real Life Podcast. Starting off the podcast, the guys started the show by critiquing Tyler's fashion choices after he showed up to the podcast wearing a fresh pair of New Balances. That led to a larger conversation about how fashion trends have changed significantly depending on what era you were born. Changing gears, the guys dove into the rap beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake that kicked off over the last couple of weeks and how it went from talking about who's the greatest to trading barbs that are way over the line. After walking Jay through the history of the beef, the guys then walked through the best tracks in the back and forth and who everyone thinks is winning. The fellas also discussed last night's Roast of Tom Brady and how it was an intense night of barbs for one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever do it. Given Brady's status as one of the best to ever do it, many folks were surprised that he would even accept the invitation to get cooked the way he did. Finally, the guys arrived at the Round 2 series between the Oilers and Canucks. Even though the series is still days away from starting, the back-and-forths have already begun on social media between two fanbases that can be spicy at the best of times. On the ice, everyone on the podcast thinks this round against Vancouver will be significantly more challenging to defeat than the L.A. Kings. Nation Real LIfe

Matthew returns for a second go on the podcast as we dive into Gen Z fashion trends! Have the '80s and '90s just had a baby and its name is Gen Z? How do we feel about the enlarging of pants, the sprouting of pearl necklaces, and a resurgence in New Balances and Champion sweatshirts? Beyond their fashion choices, how do we feel about this generation's greater openness about sexuality and same-sex friendships? Tom poses some community fashion questions to Matthew as we get to know him better, namely how many hats, shoes, and flannels he owns. Finally, we look back at our fifth camp retreat held a few months ago, reveling in our victorious volleyball match against a group of teenagers. Matthew also shares with us a snippet of what he shared at the retreat when he got to speak for us one night, including the reminder that God is working and loves to work on us slowly. Did you know Michael Jordan wore New Balances in the original photo that inspired his famous Jumpman pose? Joe Freshgoods celebrated that 1984 moment on his latest New Balance collaboration, which cohosts Joe La Puma, Brendan Dunne, and Matt Welty discuss here. They also react to the incoming Powerpuff Girls set of Nike SB Dunks, which may or may not be a totally unnecessary collaboration. I wore New Balances all week (I'll tell you which ones), and copped a new sneaker! It's one I've thought about getting for awhile and mentioned on previous episodes. Then I tell you why I think I was struggling with Chained Echoes along with some basic tips I've learned after playing for hours. Then, I spend 10 minutes griping about work and being an underpaid musician! How better to finish off an episode, than by complaning for half of it? Thanks as always for listening AFS Squad! John is out yet again this week. Idk but I think he's trying to avoid any New Balance talk due to @adrianmcbeardguns on this episode. Anders Holm liked every sneaker you like now 20 years ago. The Workaholics co-creator talks here about his long footwear history—from getting an early pair of Air Jordan 6s as a kid to watching the Three Stripes Posse in high school to getting free Reeboks during his time in college. Holm waxes poetic on sneaker trends that have come and gone, and how he was there for it all. Sambas, Salomons, New Balances, Holm had them all. He even met Virgil Abloh in college, between getting caught up in an NCAA sneaker scandal. "I've never been someone that felt like I did my best work trying to prove somebody wrong. I do my best work trying to prove somebody right." It hasn't been an easy year for three-time world championship medalist, three-time Olympian, and Olympic bronze medalist Jenny Simpson. In the 48 hours before the calendar turned from 2021 to 2022, Jenny watched as her world began to crumble. On December 30, wildfires engulfed her historic home — a former schoolhouse, beloved by Jenny and her husband, Jason, and by their community. They (with their dog, Truman) evacuated, hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. On December 31, her 12-year contract with New Balance ended, and wasn't renewed — something Jenny calls "a great heartbreak." Plus, the 1500-meter legend was injured. In true Jenny form, though, she's seeing the bright side now. Jenny and Jason's home somehow survived the fire, and after being displaced for three months, they were able to move back in and rebuild their lives. She's no longer injured, and with all systems go, she's officially transitioning from the track to the roads, with longer distances in mind. ("I'm not training for a marathon," she swears.) Two weeks ago, she won the Army 10-Miler, and she has one more race on the calendar for 2022. And she is, once again, a fully sponsored professional athlete. Jenny signed with Puma earlier this year. We have some technical difficulties this episode but we still had a great episode. We recap on the downfall of Spencer's beloved Cowboys and we here Sharp's many "Dad-Takes", including but not limited to a ranking of all New England Market Baskets and the best New Balances to wear with tube socks. Sit back, relax and enjoy this week's episode of Cooped Up Conversations. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Sit back, kick off your New Balances, and put googly eyes on your dick, it's time to review Pop Star.
This week, Josh and Tessa are talking about Mark 10.32-45. Jesus predicts his death (again ...) and the disciples don't get it (again ...). In fact, two of the twelve have a little side chat about sitting on Jesus' left and right when he "enters his glory" in Jerusalem. Naturally, this provides an opportunity for all sorts of ridiculous banter. Be blessed. the restoration project. 17 October 2021. www.restoresby.org Hosts: Josh James (pastor) and Tessa Stultz (content machine)
Just two old men bi***ing and moaning about App Sec and the price of a good pair of New Balances. Real discussion on dealing with burnout and imposter syndrome. How to stay engaged and interested when the excitement becomes mundane.
In this episode we take a look at what New Balances I have in my collection as far as for a recommendation. Of course, tastes change so I'll put forth a decent sized list of options. Then we'll get into the two pairs of kicks I currently have on the way. Finally as usual, some upcoming sneaker news Including the red Thunder 4s, a bunch of dunk lows and highs and some New Balance collabs.

Katie and Kelsey finally reunite in person with Adam and Steve at the Hop Nation USA Recording Studios of Excellence (Adam's Dining Room.) They celebrate by drinking kölschish. In the News, they talk about the return of beloved Pittsburgh brand Full Pint plus other openings, fun things to do with poop and beer, and less fun things to do with beer and New Balances. Then they start a serious conversation about the recent allegations, accusations, and stories of sexism in the craft beer industry. They explore the ramifications of it all, what can be done to improve, and what actions are already under way. Finally, they lighten the mood with a good ol' fashion game of Beer Fight. The boys recorded this week's show on Veteran's Day in the U.S., so vet recruiting is top-of-mind. Considering Chad is an Army Vet, how could it not? CareerBuilder is partnering with this vet site, and rumors that Monster is making changes to Military.com abound. On to other matters, LinkedIn continues to kickass and take names with a new integration with Microsoft Word. The move should have job sites, and even Google shaking in their New Balances. The company is also making Glassdoor a little nervous with a recent move. Lastly, tons of news items, so the guys go a little rapid fire to cover stories from Sourceress, Entelo and Jobs2Careers' ipply. There's also new research on what kind of videos you should be making to recruit. They end with a PSA that you shouldn't do this to the president. As always, show our sponsors a little love. That's an order! Sovren, America's Job Exchange and Ratedly make it all happen.
Welcome to episode 39 of Thought Cops. This week, America finally gets what it wants as Donald J. Trump is banned from Twitter for an entire 11 minutes. Suck it, libs. We're joined this week by Deputy Danny Boy. You may have heard of him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ppdB6JX99Q Turns out Papa John's is the new official pizza of the alt-right, but let's be honest, who didn't see that one coming. Better toss on your MAGA hat, velcro up your New Balances, don a white polo, and walk your pet frog on down to one of the worst pizza franchises that exist in America. Snoop Doggy Dogg, as my parents used to call him before they were my parents, is in a bit of hot water this week, as it wasn't enough for him to shoot Donald McDonald the fake president, but had the audacity to identify his corpse at the morgue and then make that his album cover. Kevin Spacey, as it turns out, might not only be an alleged pedophile, but could also be the first man to choose to be gay. I, like many mainstream news media outlets, can't decide on what's the bigger story. Betsy Devos dressed up as Ms. Frizzle from the popular manga The Magic School Bus this past Halloween, and people who can't get a grip on their own lives are outraged about it. How dare she dress up as a person that doesn't exist on a holiday that adults have all decided to take way too seriously all of a sudden. Also, turns out Osama Bin Laden was a weeaboo. So I guess that's a thing. All that and more on this episode of THOUGHT COPS!

Her book The Sacred Bombshell Handbook of Self-Love won Best Self-Help Book at the African American Literary Awards. As what she calls the "Midwife for Your Inspired Life," her online empowerment programs help women to answer and rock their callings, by turning self-love to self-launch. She is the founder of the women’s empowerment blog and web series on SacredBombshell.com and the podcast Spiritpreneur School, aka The Goddess Factory. (and yes, I know. She's a master at naming things. Just you wait 'till you listen to the episode) Flashback for context: seven years ago, I was going through a huge life shift. Or, rather, I was about to go through a huge life shift - I just didn't know it yet. I had just moved to Venice Beach, gotten a steady job at one of my favorite fitness studios, finally gotten over a rough breakup, and was starting to feel more like myself than ever. I was starting to realize that maybe the life I'd planned out for myself wasn't the life I was really supposed to lead...and instead of being scary, that glimmer of a thought was actually starting to feel freeing. Basically, all of my channels were open for change - I just didn't know what was coming next. It was also around this time I started running. Every week, I'd lace up my New Balances and drive to the long stretch of grass along Ocean Avenue and just go. I'd call them my thinking runs: the time that was just for me, where I could zone out and tune into what my heart was really saying. One day before a thinking run, I was looking for a way to tune into the radio show I'd been listening to on my drive over (I miss the car radio in NYC!) and came across these new things called "podcasts." My first observation? There weren't a lot of female hosts. Finally, I found one. The Goddess Factory by Abiola Abrams. Looked promising. I could get down with goddess talk. Well, I ended up becoming HOOKED. I found Abiola's enthusiastic yet no-bs outlook on life just the type of inspiration I needed. It felt like she wasn't just talking directly TO me, but like she was a friend who was giving me permission to be as passionate, deep, silly, funny, and BIG as I wanted to be. It was just what I needed to catapult me into the next stage of my life, which ultimately, has led me right here. It sounds kinda cheesy to say I couldn't have done it without her, but honestly - I couldn't have done it without her. I LOVE each twist and turn of this conversation, talking everything from what to do when you feel like other people just don't quite GET what you're about yet and sticking to your guns when it seems like everyone else is getting ahead, to getting your voice heard even when other people are trying to manipulate it to their liking along the way. We also talk about being an extroverted introvert and getting swept up in the bigness of whatever's going on around you, and whether you're super extroverted or incredibly introverted, how to stay grounded AND enthusiastic even when life is demanding a lot of you (especially when things are really good and borderline overwhelming, which are the times that can sometimes throw us off the most if you're anything like me). We seriously could have talked for ages - you'll hear, her energy and genuine enthusiasm are infectious. Make sure you download this one everywhere you listen to podcasts, because you're gonna wanna go back and re-listen later. I know I will.

The RunRunLive 4.0 Podcast Episode 4-343 – Susie Chan – Endurance Runner (Audio: link) [audio:http://www.RunRunLive.com/PodcastEpisodes/epi4343.mp3] Link MarathonBQ – How to Qualify for the Boston Marathon in 14 Weeks - Hello my friends and welcome to episode 4-343 of the RunRunLive Podcast. Today we talk with author UK Ultra-runner Susie Chan, and by ‘we’ I mean Alex. Alex caught up with her and I did the editing. Susie’s story has all the elements that we see when we talk about the transformational power of endurance sports. She was living her life, not in a good place physically or mentally. She ran a race, caught the bug and then dove quickly into the deep end with ultras and stage races – reporting it all on social media (as is often the case these days). I love the story she tells about not having even run a marathon yet and signing up for the Marathon de Sables – Which is a 7-day ultra stage race across the Sahara. We’ve talked to people who have run this on the show – like Ray Zahab – it’s definitely not for an amateur. They lost two guys there one year in a sand storm. There you go! If you take Susie as your data point then all you have to do is wake up one morning and start running ultras. Easy peasy. In section one I’m going to talk about what to do when you are struggling in a run. Because I’ve been struggling recently. In section two we’ll chat a bit about telling a story into the future and using that to create a different outcome. … Happy 4th of July! I stayed home over the long weekend here in the states. Didn’t do much. Got a couple runs in and a long bike ride. Hung out with my family. Unclogged a couple drains in the house. Yes, I have basic plumbing skills. I might be the last generation of men who can do a little plumbing, a little carpentry, a little forestry and whatever else needs to be done. That being said, the stuff we used to learn from our fathers’ you can now get from YouTube. Monday, on the fourth of July itself Teresa and I dug out my old canoe (see what I did there?) and took it out onto the Concord River. We put in in Bedford and paddled up to the Old North Bridge in Concord. That’s where Minuteman National Park is. That whole section of the river is park so it’s quite arboreal. It was nice. We talked about Thoreau. One of his books was “” and other stuff. Not as hard as running down the Grand Canyon but a very nice few hours in the sun. … The RunRunLive podcast is Ad Free and listener supported. Links are in the show notes and at RunRunLive.com … Why don’t I take the cheaters way out and instead of thinking up my own salient content to ease you into the episode proper I’ll quote that crazy old philosophe Thoreau hisself… “It is worth the while to make a voyage up this stream, if you go no farther than Sudbury, only to see how much country there is in the rear of us : great hills, and a hundred brooks, and farmhouses, and barns, and haystacks, you never saw before, and men everywhere ; Sudbury, that is Southborough men, and Wayland, and Nine-Acre-Corner men, and Bound Rock, where four towns bound on a rock in the river, Lincoln, Wayland, Sudbury, Concord . Many waves are there agitated by the wind, keeping nature fresh, the spray blowing in your face, reeds and rushes waving ; ducks by the hundred, all uneasy in the surf, in the raw wind, just ready to rise, and now going off with a clatter and a whistling like riggers straight for Labrador, flying against the stiff gale with reefed wings, or else circling round first, with all their paddles briskly moving, just over the surf, to reconnoitre you before they leave these parts ; gulls wheeling overhead, muskrats swimming for dear life, wet and cold, with no fire to warm them by that you know of, their labored homes rising here and there like haystacks ; and countless mice and moles and winged titmice along the sunny, windy shore; cranberries tossed on the waves and heaving up on the beach, their little red skiffs beating about among the alders ; - such healthy natural tumult as proves the last day is not yet at hand.” HDT On with the show. Section one – When easy runs are hard - Voices of reason – the conversation Susie Chan Hi I'm Susie and I like to run. I have run races from 1 mile to 100 miles. I began running quite late in life to get a bit healthier. Since stumbling over my first finish line in a race in 2010 I have gone on to run thousands of miles in training and in races. My favourite races are multistage ultras, these are races over multiple days and miles. Highlights of my races have included two Marathon des Sables (setting off with the elites in 2015) Thames Path 100 and Boston Marathon. I do the odd bit of cycling and swimming too. I'm happiest running with my friends on the trails. Contact me for public speaking, kit chat and any questions! UPCOMING EVENTS: Beyond the Ultimate's Jungle Ultra Gevena Marathon 2016 Sierra Leone Marathon 2016 Pacer at London Marathon 2016 North Downs Way 50 New York Marathon 2016 Winter Wonderland Section two Telling your story out into the future - Outro Well my friends you decided to get up off the couch and run across the Sahara Desert to the end of Episode 4-343 of the RunRunLive Podcast. Hope you’re enjoying your summers. Or your winter if you’re in the other side of the planet. If you were on Jupiter where NASA just successfully dropped the Juno probe into orbit your summer would be 1083 days long. And the Europeans would still take most of it off. I’m close to pulling the trigger on a trail marathon in Indianapolis for July 31st. Even though I’ve been feeling less-than-awesome in my running lately I figure I can just casually run it for fun. I don’t have an Indy Marathon yet and both my sisters live there. We have an office there too. I need to get out! Do something! Then I’m going to do the Wapack Trail race. That’s Labor Day weekend. You should come up and do it. It’s 18 miles on technical mountain trails. A real hoot. I guarantee it’s different than anything else you’ve ever run! Then I have the Spartan Beast. Which I’m not excited about but I’ll do it. And finally I told coach I’d run the Portland marathon with him in October. I did the Hood to Coast relay out there last year but I don’t think that counts as a state marathon? … So, like I said I’ve really felt like crap in my runs. Basically since I had pneumonia in May. I’m tired and my paces are off. I noticed my HR spiking a bit at the end of runs. I called my cardiologist and they asked me to wear a 24 hour monitor. I’ve been wearing it for a couple weeks now. It’s a giant pain in the … It consists of three electrodes that you stick to your chest. One above your left breast and then another two, one under each breast. I’d post a picture but no one needs to see that. Oh, the horror. Then the three wires run down to a small pendant that you keep in your pocket or clip to your belt. It’s like the size of a pager. (For you millennials, pagers were texting devices before we had cell phones. In old movies from the 80’s and 90’s you’ll see doctors wearing them.) The companion piece is an android cell phone. The pendant track smy heart and sends any weirdness to the cell phone via Bluetooth. The cell phone then shoots that data off to the main office – where someone is watching. This is all well and good but I don’t think the designers had me in mind when they designed the rig. When I’m trail running this time of year I sweat. A lot. I’ve managed to sweat off the electrodes in a few of my runs. Which is unfortunate because if there is anything nefarious going on with my heart it’s going to be at the end of a run. I’m working with it. I found a way to run the wires up through the neck of my shirt and clip them to my camelback for yesterday’s 2-hour sweat fest and that kept the electrodes in place for the whole outing. I don’t think they are seeing anything. Which is good news and bad news. Good news may be it’s not the heart. Bad news is now I have to figure out what it is! … I got a couple new pair of shoes too. I bought a new pair of trail Mizunos. I’ve never owned a pair of mizunos. They are basic neutral cushion shoes with an aggressive tread. The toebox was a little tight but my foot usually wins that battle. I bought a pair of Hoka Challenger 2’s for the road. I was trying to break in a pair of New Balance that I had picked up dirt cheap at the outlet store but they just weren’t working. They were New Balances version of a Hoka-like shoe. Light and responsive but I couldn’t get used to the heel drop. I got the Hokas which are last year’s model for $84 and I know they work for me. Like running on clouds! Because no matter how crappy your training is going, you can always use a new pair of shoes, right? Susie is a great example of someone seizing control of her life. She became the captain of her ship. We all have that capability. No matter whether we are 20 or 60. Whether your boat is a cloth coracle or a party yacht. It’s all good. Thoreau in his canoe. You and I in our dinghies. Grab an oar or a paddle and I’ll see you out there. MarathonBQ – How to Qualify for the Boston Marathon in 14 Weeks -

May 24th, 2016 • On this light-hearted-yet-heavy-hitting episode of Sound Song Buzzards, our heroes welcome their first guest, “Encyclopedia” Andrew, as he puts his nerves aside and pokes fun at Cory’s white New Balances and Devon’s beer koozies. Meanwhile, Cory and Devon try to make sense of Andrew’s contradictory music choices, and realize that their heated rivalry […]
Here we go yo! Charge up your batteries and strap on your New Balances because we are continuing our Quest with the Tribe! Today, we look at their legendary second album, 1991's “The Low End Theory.” Fair warning: there is some heavy material covered in this episode including sexual assault and homophobia, but we also tackle some lighter subjects--like whether or not people eat cacciatore with a twist of lime, and how popular the Arsenio Hall show was. Find out what bugged Blake about “Buggin Out”, and Logan's opinion on the great Q-Tip vs. MC Hammer feud of the early 90s. You on point?
