BahnhofBeats - Der Newcomer-Contest.

SCRIPTURE: James 3:1-12SHOW NOTES: How should we live out our faith in everyday life? James is very specific in the opening verses of chapter 3. He wants us to know teachers of God's Word will be held accountable and he reminds us that we all make mistakes. We will not be perfect, but our desire should be spiritual growth and maturity. Now, James points to the control of our tongues. In verse 5 he writes, “So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things.” When the tongue is not carefully constrained or guarded, it will get us into trouble. James takes us to the heart of our Christian walk. How do we use our tongue? SONG: "Let the Words of My Mouth" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d73ufx67LLs

The biggest names in Hollywood and Broadway recorded for AFRS during the war years, The American Forces Network can trace its origins back to May 26, 1942, when the War Department established the Armed Forces Radio Service (AFRS). The U.S. Army began broadcasting from London during World War II, using equipment and studio facilities borrowed from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The first transmission to U.S. troops began at 5:45 p.m. on July 4, 1943, and included less than five hours of recorded shows, a BBC news and sports broadcast. That day, Corporal Syl Binkin became the first U.S. Military broadcasters heard over the air. The signal was sent from London via telephone lines to five regional transmitters to reach U.S. troops in the United Kingdom as they prepared for the inevitable invasion of Nazi-occupied Europe. Fearing competition for civilian audiences the BBC initially tried to impose restrictions on AFN broadcasts within Britain (transmissions were only allowed from American Bases outside London and were limited to 50 watts of transmission power) and a minimum quota of British produced programming had to be carried. Nevertheless, AFN programs were widely enjoyed by the British civilian listeners who could receive them, and once AFN operations transferred to continental Europe (shortly after D-Day) AFN were able to broadcast with little restriction with programs available to civilian audiences across most of Europe (including Britain) after dark. As D-Day approached, the network joined with the BBC and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to develop programs especially for the Allied Expeditionary Forces. Mobile stations, complete with personnel, broadcasting equipment, and a record library were deployed to broadcast music and news to troops in the field. The mobile stations reported on front line activities and fed the news reports back to studio locations in London.

It's Big Give Sunday 2021! As we continue our series in the songs surrounding Jesus' birth, Pastor Justin looks at the song of Simeon. In his song, we find out why it's good news that Jesus is "a sign that opposes" and how that empowers us to be generous.

There's a tendency at the end of the year to just push through until you can take a break. But the invitation of advent is to rest in Christ and adore him in every moment. In this sermon, Pastor Quentin looks at the song of the angels in Luke 2, and what their message means for us today.

Some people are still discovering the recent catch-phrase, "Let's Go Brandon". They hear it, but have no idea how it originated, thanks to an unaware NASCAR reporter at Talladega, last month.
Tim and Lydia host friends Seamus of FreedomToons and Libby Emmons, editor of the Post Millennial to examine why a song denigrating Joe Biden climbed to the tops of the charts, the twists and turns in the upcoming Rittenhouse trial, the horrendous high school drag lap dance fest that took place in Kentucky, a Doritos example featuring a pair of gay Hispanic ghosts, a Twix commercial starring a child-threatening cool-girl witch and a cross-dressing boy, and how companies think that running bizarre woke advertisements will raise their social credit scores. ✨

Roy breaks down writing and recording the song “Let the Past Die.” You'll hear the vocals, guitars, and drums isolated from the mix in this part by part walk-through of the song. Earlier this week, Will and I talked over the possibility of returning to our physical worship space at 317 Main St in Argenta. It warmed and invigorated me to think of the possibility and to dream together of the renewed ministry and community we will share. Friday night, as small crowds of 3-5 passed by our church windows and cheerfully greeted each other on the way to dinner, I sat down at the piano to celebrate and prepare for our renewed life together again. — John Willis "Let It Happen," by Andrea Marie Reagan. © 2015 Capitol CMG Genesis.

David Guetta & SIA bringen am 11. September ihren neuen Song "Let‘s Love" raus.

The end of the f****ing World! Music can personify exactly how an artist feels at the moment he or she was writing the song. During the time Quindell Evans was writing the song ‘Let Go’ there was a lot going on his life and he wanted to let go and detach himself from the disempowering effects of the issues and find ways to see the positive outcome despite the issues. In this episode, let's learn Chinese through a song, 让爱住我家-let love live in my home. This song, first performed in 2003 spring festival gala by an ordinary family, who also composed and wrote the lyrics of the song, became popular among Chinese because of its inspiring and heartwarming lyrics. The song includes many vocabs we have learnt so far, such as the possessive personal pronouns, so it is easy for you to follow ;-)
