The Encourage Project podcast shares the work of Amy A. Fairchild, PMP and her guests and discusses the “how to”s of applying world-class project management practices to what she refers to as “human projects” (for example, weight loss, changing jobs, or buying a home). Organizations have known for years the value project manage provides – efficiency, focus, excellence in execution. Amy takes more than 25 years of project leadership experience, combines it with her leadership development and performance background (music and comedy), and connects people with their visions and the exciting, beautiful and sometimes messy process of how to achieve them.

Peace with their bodies. We have been conditioned to ignore what our bodies tell us and instead focus on whatever quick fix will help us shed pounds and solidify happiness. I for one was tired of working so hard, only to be hangry all the time and hate the journey. Shedding pounds? Yeah, kinda. Happiness? Nowhere in sight. Then I got curious. What if I listened to my body and explored things that felt overall good to me?Enter Butter Your Macros. I get asked a lot about a certain type of human project – weight loss. Maybe it is because I have lost almost 100 pounds, but I think it is because I know there is so much more to losing weight than simply managing a calorie deficit! Brad Jensen knows weight loss and so much more! The founder of Key Nutrition, Brad and I had a great conversation talking about what it really takes to make long-term, sustainable change (in health and fitness or any area of life). Brad's passion for the fitness industry started when he was 14 years old. The minute he picked up his first fitness and nutrition magazine, he knew that it was what he was born to do. He became NASM and ACE certified so he could understand all parts of fitness and nutrition. That knowledge and passion inspired him to help others. It also helped him transition through some of the darkest times of his life. Brad is not only a fitness addict. He is a dad to his sweet baby boy Dominic and a dog dad to fur babies Champion and Chief. He is funny and engaging and so insightful, and I had a blast talking with him.
