This week we continue our journey to the Great White North! This is the triumphant finale of our celebration of an amazing power trio from Toronto that has been largely forgotten in the pantheon of rock n' roll: TRIUMPH! From classic hard rock & metal to proggy AOR, this is a band that rarely gets the praise they deserve! This episode is rooted in our Should Have Been category. This is a band that Captain Content has mentioned before as a band he would love to dive into deeper. While not the most obscure band we've ever covered (they have multiple platinum and gold albums in the US and Canada), they have been largely forgotten as the rock giants they once were. We think they should be remembered as titans or rock and thus: Huge-er-er!!! Eh?Songs this week include:Triumph - “Time Goes By” from Thunder Seven (1984)Triumph - “When The Lights Go Down” from Stages (1985)Triumph - “Mind Games” from Stages (1985)Triumph - “Play With Fire” from The Sport Of Kings (1986)Triumph - “Carry On The Flame” from Surveillance (1987)Triumph - “Edge Of Excess” from Edge Of Excess (1992)Triumph - “I Live For The Weekend” from Live At Sweden Rock Festival (2008)Please subscribe everywhere that you listen to podcasts!Visit us: https://inobscuria.com/https://www.facebook.com/InObscuriahttps://twitter.com/inobscuriahttps://www.instagram.com/inobscuria/Buy cool stuff with our logo on it!: https://www.redbubble.com/people/InObscuria?asc=uCheck out Robert's amazing fire sculptures and metal workings here: http://flamewerx.com/If you'd like to check out Kevin's band THE SWEAR, take a listen on all streaming services or pick up a digital copy of their latest release here: https://theswear.bandcamp.com/If you want to hear Robert and Kevin's band from the late 90s – early 00s BIG JACK PNEUMATIC, check it out here: https://bigjackpnuematic.bandcamp.com/
This week we took it to the people, and the people agreed! Not just the people; we got the ok from The Chairman, Mighty K, and the entire 51st state of Canada! Therefore, we give you “Grave Mistake: TRIUMPH Shoulda Been Huge-er!!!”. This is part one of our celebration of an amazing power trio from Toronto that has been largely forgotten in the rock n' roll pantheon. They also happen to have Bonafide Guitar God in the band that rarely gets the praise he deserves! This episode is rooted in our Should Have Been category. Welcome back to Aquarium Drunkard Transmissions, this week on the show, we're joined by three guests—though, not all at once. In the first half of the show: Mark “Frosty” McNeill of dublab and the LA Phil to discuss a new compilation he helped produce, Even the Forest Hums: Ukrainian Sonic Archives 1971-1996; in the second-half of the show, Estevan and Alejandro Gutierrez, better known as Hermanos Gutiérrez just us to discuss their latest album of spacey guitar instrumentals, Sonido Cosmico. Assembled by Light in the Attic Records in partnership with the Kyiv-based archival label, Shukai, Even the Forest Hums offers music rarely heard outside of its homeland—a genre diverse compilation of Ukrainian music recorded under the USSR's reign and in the aftermath of its collapse, from post-punk to folk, from jazz rock to early electronic music, from downtempo hip-hop to oddball pop. “Music has always pulled Ukrainians out of the abyss,” writes Vitalii “Bard” Bardetskyi in the liner notes. “When there is no hope for the future, there is still music. At such moments, the whole nation resonates under a groove. Music, breaking through the concrete of various colonial systems, is an incredible, often illogical, way to preserve dignity.” Mark “Frosty” McNeill takes us behind the scenes. Brothers Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez grew up in two words, splitting time between their father's native Switzerland and Ecuador, where their mother's family hailed from. On past records, they've evoked the imaginal expanses of Spaghetti Westerns through a pan Latin/surf/psychedelic sound for guitar and lap steel. Their latest is called Sonido Cósmico. Joined by producer Dan Auerbach, they flesh the surroundings out even more this go-round, dialing in a song that's as suited for the desert expanses of Mars or the moon as much as any Sergio Leone film. Estevan and Alejandro joined us to discuss setting their sights on the stars, channeling feminine energy via their abuela, and the intent that fueled committing their earliest musical efforts to vinyl. Jeremy Clark of Tracer Heights was in the house for Episode No. 128, and dang it if it isn't always refreshing to chat with a fellow Phishhead.Trust me: I'm not trying to pigeonhole Jeremy or say that that's all there is to say about him. There's a ton more. Rare is the opportunity, though.Anyway...Jeremy's a son and a brother and a bandmate and one heck of a sharp dude; I really enjoyed getting to know him a little bit. We talked a fair amount about Tracer Heights, what they're all about, and what his role as the bassist looks like. We also talked about a few of Jeremy's favorite albums. Those were these:Pet Sounds (1966), The Beach BoysNine Inch Nails' Broken (1992)Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness (1995), The Smashing PumpkinsThe Flaming Lips' The Soft Bulletin (1999)Person Pitch (2007), Panda BearSo, please check out our conversation. These chats are almost always awesome; this one was no exception. And please check out Tracer Heights. Find out more about them at tracerheights.com, on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Bandcamp. They're rock, blues, and bluegrass with the spirit of psychedelic improvisational music, and they're gigging often here in K.C.copyright disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the audio samples contained within this episode. It's Episode #109 and -- as is often the case -- I'm very excited to have a return guest join me for a conversation. Not only was this time no exception, this time was a visit I was really thrilled about, in that it was MABkc back to chew the fat with me about his new release, 90's Baby.If you missed the first go-'round with MAB, please consider checking out Episode #49, and if you like(d) what you saw/heard there, please use MABkc as your search on your audio platform of choice to check out any (or all) of his previous releases. There are EP options, LP choices, and singles to buy/download/stream. And if you're in the market for some studio time for your own project, visit industrysoundz.com. While you're there, you can purchase your own time package or some beats or even some merch'. And while perusing your studio-time package, make sure to check out the array of talented engineers available to assist.90's Baby, though, is a must-listen. It's nine tracks, 25 minutes, full of good stuff, and it just dropped in late January.Catching up with MABkc was a delight, and I'm always stoked to try and support local artists and their projects in any way possible.copyright disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the audio samples contained within this episode. Within a year after getting his first guitar donated by his sister's boyfriend, Jimmy Gilmer of Sugar Shack fame, Jim Parker was playing in a band and later became a founding member of The Illusions that landed a record deal with Dot Records. In 1966 he and his buddies decided to leave their hometown of Amarillo, Texas, and head to Los Angeles. During that time, The Illusions became “The Kitchen Cinq” recording with Lee Hazelwood's LHI label for three years. This later led to jobs with other recording bands like Armageddon and THEM (post Van Morrison) with some studio work with Sonny and Cher and various recording artists on the side. Fifty years later, on August 28, 2015, AceRecords of the UK and its affiliate US label Light in the Attic Records released “The Kitchen Cinq, When the Rainbow Disappears”, as an anthology complete with a booklet of photos and history of the band.Moving to Nashville in 1975 was the beginning of another serendipitous phase of Jim's career where he met a young John Anderson and began writing successful chart songs. Then Jim branched out and has co-written with many #1, Hall of Fame and Grammy winning songwriters over the years and continues to do so today. Jim is the creator and host of a popular series at the Von Braun Center Playhouse in Huntsville, AL since 2005 called Jim Parker's Songwriters Series ® where he showcases the incredible talent of his hit songwriter friends from Nashville, Muscle Shoals, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Canada and surrounding areas. Without the songwriter there would be no music because it all begins with a songwriter and a song. Learn more about Jim Parker at JimParkerMusic.com Host Lee Zimmerman is a freelance music writer whose articles have appeared in several leading music industry publications. Lee is a former promotions representative for ABC and Capital Records and director of communications for various CBS affiliated television stations. Lee authored "Americana Music - Voices, Visionaries & Pioneers of an Honest Sound," as well as his recent book about legendary producer and engineer Jim Gains "Thirty Years Behind The Glass. Rodriguez is a legend we've been hooked on ever since Nobody turned us onto “Cold Fact,” his powerful statement of psych-soul from 1970. The album originally released on Sussex Records has risen from obscurity and recently been reissued by the wonderful folks at Light in the Attic Records. Rodriguez himself spent years off the general public's radar but kept busy with local Detroit politics and playing shows in South Africa and Australia. For us in the northern hemisphere Rodriguez seemed like a powerful spirit of the past and was even rumored to be deceased. Thankfully he's alive, vibrant and focused on sharing music. His visit to dublab marked his first ever west coast radio session and for this ocassion, he was backed by the always expanding talents Blank Blue. Dig this beautiful session. dublab is a listeners supported radio station. Become a Sustaining Member today at: https://www.dublab.com/support/memberships

In the north of Los Angeles, in a neighbourhood called Glendale, an unassuming bungalow is home to one of the first women in Hollywood to cut men's hair. Today she goes by the glitziest of names, Madelynn von Ritz, but back in the 60s she was called Lynn Castle and hung out with key people of the era, lopping off Jim Morrison, the Byrds, Sonny Bono and Neil Young's locks. She was also a secret musician. But despite her childhood friends being musical svengalis like Phil Spector – who she once dated – as well as Jack Nietzcshe and Lee Hazlewood, it took her a while to reveal her talent. Eventually, however, she cut a number of intimate, melancholy demos in the hazy 60s with Hazlewood, who later famously teamed up with Nancy Sinatra and helped define the decade's psychedelic sound. Lynn is now 83 (going on 53!) and still writes music to this day, with a home studio tucked in the corner of her living room. Those old demos, meanwhile, were found by the label Light in the Attic and reissued as Rose Coloured Corner in 2017 – an album 50 years in the making – including her signature song, pop gem The Lady Barber. In this episode of The Last Bohemians: LA, supported by Audio-Technica, Lynn discusses her 'friendship' with Elvis, her series of almost-famous moments with Bob Dylan and the Stones, her positive outlook and life, and unexpectedly digs out letters from an old flame... CREDITS Presenter/Exec-Producer: Kate Hutchinson Producer: Holly Fisher Photography: Lisa Jelliffe Theme music: Pete Cunningham, Ned Pegler and Caradog Jones With thanks to Light in the Attic Records. ABOUT AUDIO-TECHNICA In 1962, with a vision of producing high-quality audio for everyone, Audio-Technica's founder Hideo Matsushita created the first truly affordable phono cartridge, the AT-1 in Shinjuku, Japan. Since then, Audio-Technica has grown into a world-renowned company devoted to Audio Excellence at every level, expanding the product range to include headphones, microphones and turntables. Audio-Technica's commitment to the user experience and their devotion to high quality design, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution has placed them at the forefront of the industry for the last 60 years. ABOUT THE LAST BOHEMIANS Journalist and broadcaster Kate Hutchinson launched The Last Bohemians in 2019, pairing the audio with stunning portraits by photographer Laura Kelly. It stole hearts with 86-year-old Molly Parkin's stories of self-pleasuring, LSD countess Amanda Feilding's trepanning tales and Pamela Des Barres' reflections on supergroupiedom. It won silver for Best New Podcast at the 2020 British Podcast Awards and was a finalist at the 2021 Audio Production Awards. Series two featured folk legend Judy Collins; British fashion icon Zandra Rhodes, dealing with the aftermath of losing her lover while celebrating 50 years in fashion; anarcho-punk innovator and illustrator Gee Vaucher; and the controversial witch at the heart of the 1970s occult boom, Maxine Sanders. In 2021, The Last Bohemians launched a lockdown special with performance artist Marina Abramović; it returned in 2022 with the UK's greatest living painter, Maggi Hambling, as well as Bowie's former best friend Dana Gillespie and theatre actor Cleo Sylvestre. thelastbohemians.co.uk patreon.com/thelastbohemians instagram.com/thelastbohemianspod twitter.com/thelastbohospod
We talked about this quite some time ago and we are back with another metal episode. Still solo, folks, but that will be rectified very soon. SeanGeek takes a walk down memory lane to his first true introduction to metal. Metal For Breakfast, released in 1984 on Attic Records was my gateway. It took about fifty years, but Leo Nocentelli‘s solo LP Another Side finally arrived in 2021, via Light In the Attic Records. Seattle had a thriving funk and soul scene in the 60s and 70s. There were dozens of bands and more than 20 venues specializing in the genres. For today's episode, Emily Fox talks with KEXP DJ Supreme La Rock about how he first discovered Seattle's funk and soul scene while digging for records. His discoveries later turned into a compilation called 'Wheedle's Groove,' released by Light in the Attic Records in 2004. We also hear about the scene from drummer Robbie Hill of the Seattle funk bands Black on White Affair and Robbie Hill's Family Affair, and why he turned down an opportunity to be signed to RCA records. Lips comes into The Metal Forge, but in this episode, he's bringing his own ANVIL! Started in 1978 as "Lips", and released their first album independently under that name, but changed it after signing to Attic Records to avoid confusion with disco act Lipps, Inc. The debut album was then re-released under the new name. Anvil have a tradition of giving all of their albums alliterated three-word titles. A documentary about the band titled "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" was released in 2009. It was directed by Sacha Gervasi, who was a roadie for the band in the late '80s. http://my.tbaytel.net/tgallo/anvil
Blowout Comb is the second studio album by American hip hop group Digable Planets, released October 18, 1994, on Pendulum/EMI Records. The album was written and recorded in Brooklyn, New York, where the group moved, with recording sessions beginning in 1993 and finishing in 1994. On Blowout Comb, Digable Planets abandoned the radio friendly style of their debut album and worked with a more ambitious, stripped-down sound. The album features a diverse range of samples and live instruments, and contains lyrical themes of the inner city and black nationalism.[1] It also features guest appearances from Guru of Gang Starr, Jeru the Damaja, and DJ Jazzy Joyce.Upon its release, Blowout Comb received minimal label support, and virtually no pre-release publicity.[2] It peaked at number 32 on the Billboard 200, and number 13 on the Top R&B Albums, making it a commercial failure. It featured the singles "9th wonder" and "Dial 7", which also did not chart well, and failed to match the success of the group's previous singles. Several music writers have attributed this lack of chart and sales success to the album's afrocentric content, and un-polished tone. Shortly after the release of Blowout Comb, Digable Planets broke up due to creative differences and displeasure with the music industry.Although the album did not achieve commercial success, and received very little attention at the time of its release, Blowout Comb received generally greater acclaim amongst music critics and writers than the group's debut Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space). It has been noted for its seamless production and has been described as a "textured soundscape of a mythical world of rhymes, jazz and urban ambiance."[3] Blowout Comb is often regarded as Digable Planets' best album, and has gained an underground following in later years.[4] In 2013, it was reissued on vinyl LP by Light in the Attic Records.

In this week's episode, we meet Tony Theil of Attic Records. Just how much does Theil love buying, selling and playing records? He quit multiple jobs and moved to Millvale from Ohio when owner Fred Bohn Jr. offered him a job at the store. Learn about the history of Attic Records (spoiler alert: it wasn't just records at the start) and about the “Pittsburgh sound.” Theil gives some advice for those just starting to collect vinyl and shouts out some local bands whose albums he thinks you should own. (It's a non-comprehensive list.) Since Theil lives right above the shop, we also ask him to share some of his favorite Millvale spots. Plus, a little year-end review and some highlights from this year on The Slaw. Links in this episode: Attic Records Website Attic Records Instagram What is the Pittsburgh sound?
Mike chats with Lee Aaron about her very early years in Brampton, becoming Lee Aaron, Metal Queen, her deal with Attic Records, working with Bob Ezrin, touring Europe, the commercial success of Bodyrock, the role of MuchMusic, going independent, working with The Sons of Freedom, the jazz and opera eras, her new Christmas album Almost Christmas and literally being a Karen.
Ale Cohen and Mark "Frosty" McNeill share their journey through “experimenting with sound” and community in building the Internet radio collective DUBLAB over the past two decades. They share what inspired and drove them to build this institution and how it has shifted gears in our listen-from-home global era. Dublab is not your average radio station. Mark calls it “experimentation with sound” that was formed as a reaction to the 1996 Telecommunications Act, which forced the closure of low-power stations. We talked about online radio as a “misuse of technology” -- as a “hack” and a mutant use of tech. Initially, dublab acted as “an excuse to gather the creative community of Los Angeles.” They share stories of how contemporary much often started out of the studio and how dublab became a testing ground for new sound and to honor the music that went before. Guests: Mark “Frosty” McNeill, Founder, and Alejandro Cohen, Director, dublab Alejandro Cohen is a musician and composer from Los Angeles, and the Director of non-profit radio station DUBLAB. Over the last two decades, Cohen has released music under numerous projects and groups including Languis and Pharaohs. He has composed music for TV shows, documentaries, and educational materials, and recorded more than two hundred solo artists and bands as a sound engineer and consultant forhttp://dublab.com/ ( dublab.com), KPFK 90.7 FM, Sony/Columbia, and the Society for the Activation of Social Space Through Art and Sound (SASSAS). As Executive Director of the Internet radio station and creative collective DUBLAB, Cohen curates the station's programming and podcast offerings, fundraises for the organization, and curates the annual ambient music event Tonalism. Mark “Frosty” McNeill is a DJ, radio producer, sonic curator, filmmaker, and creative community builder based in Los Angeles. He was the founder of http://dublab.com/ (dublab.com), a pioneering web radio station that has been exploring wide-spectrum music since 1999. McNeill hosts https://www.dublab.com/shows/celsius-drop/ (Celsius Drop), a weekly dublab radio show and has produced long-running programs for Red Bull Radio, Marfa Public Radio, and KPFK 90.7fm. McNeill co-curated/produced the https://lightintheattic.net/releases/4714-pacific-breeze-japanese-city-pop-aor-boogie-1976-1986 (Pacific Breeze) compilations of Japanese City Pop music for Light in the Attic Records as well as Somewhere Between, a forthcoming album focused on the more experimental side of Japanese pop. His output on a multitude of international media platforms has focused on sharing transcendent sonic experiences. We’re back. The weather is beginning to turn. We’re almost there. Welcome to the September edition of the Transmissions podcast. On this episode, we sit down with three legends of independent music: psychedelic singer/songwriter Robyn Hitchcock, Giant Sand leader Howe Gelb, and Steve Wynn of the Dream Syndicate. Since emerging in the ‘80s, they’ve amassed incredible catalogs, and they’re all still making vital and poetic records. We spoke earlier this month at HOCO Fest, a multi-day festival in Tucson, Arizona. Sitting down at the KXCI studio at Hotel Congress, the three riffed on their years making music, how their sounds have evolved over the years, and what a lifelong commitment to making art looks like. But first, our conversation with Matt Sullivan of Light in the Attic Records, one of our longtime favorite reissue labels. We spoke live at Gold Diggers in East Hollywood as part of our Talk Show series – a set of live conversations centered around the worlds of music, art, film and beyond. LITA has released records by Rodriguez, Betty Davis, Lee Hazlewood, Jim Sullivan, Serge Gainsbourg, and has launched expansive archives like the Native North America and Japan Archival projects. How did Light in the Attic get started? Live on stage at Gold Diggers, Sullivan explained it all.

From MorriconeYouth.com: Morricone Youth formed in New York City in 1999 with the mission statement of composing, re-interpreting, performing and recording only "music written for the moving image." With a repertoire of over 100 reinterpretations of film and television soundtracks and music production library recordings (many of which recorded for CDs released by Country Club Records),the band performs with projections thematically dedicated to specific composers or film music genres in addition to composing and performing its own original live scores to old silent films, midnight movies, animations and shorts in theaters and art spaces around the country. In 2005, Morricone Youth composed original music for its own imaginary film entitled "SILENZIO VIOLENTO," recorded with legendary Brooklyn producer and engineer Martin Bisi released by Country Club Records. The band's original music has regularly been used for television and films, including the documentary "Second Skin" directed by Juan Carlos Pineiro-Escoriaza about MMORPGs. The band has embarked on the ambitious project of recording and releasing a 15-vinyl/digital series of the enormous body of work it has composed and re-worked for the 15 silent films and midnight movies and performed over the past six years around NYC. The first three releases of the series are now available digitally and on vinyl: (1) "THE ADVENTURES OF PRINCE ACHMED" 6-song 32-minute EP (150g black vinyl, limited pressing of 500 w/ digital download cards); (2) "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" 6-song 25-minute EP (second pressing on 150g transparent blood red swirl vinyl limited pressing of 500 w/ digital download cards); and (3) "MAD MAX" 10-song 40 minute LP on coke bottle green OR gold black swirl 150g vinyl, limited pressing of 500 each w/ digital download cards). Up next: F.W. Murnau's "SUNRISE: A SONG OF TWO HUMANS" (est. April 2017); Alfred Hitchcock's "THE LODGER" (est. August 2017); and Sergei Eisentein's "BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN" (est. November 2017). Probably one of the greatest mysteries of the music world, the story of Jim Sullivan remains just as fascinating and baffling as it was back in 1975. On this edition of the show (a classic that we've dug up from a few years ago), we have the pleasure of speaking to Matt Sullivan (strangely enough, absolutely no blood-relation to Jim Sullivan), who is the founder and co-owner of Light In The Attic records. LITA Records saw its first seeds sewn in a little basement apartment in Fremont, Seattle, back in 2001, and has since provided us with some fantastic re-issued gems. A spiritual and introverted man, Jim was known to simply sit by the beach and take in the scenery of the water and stars at night. His wife recalls times when they would sit by the seaside in Malibu, wondering “what it would be like to be up there.” Alas, it comes as no surprise that his lyrics were deep and reflective, with heavy hints of yearning for a quiet country life. Songs of long and lonely highways, looking up into the Sun, wondering about UFOs; reflections on his deceased older brother and the funeral procession; inspiration drawn from trippy and mysterious movies about curses and sacrifices. Tapping into this man’s mind by listening to his music has definitely always been a trip down the rabbit hole for anyone present. Fast-forward a few years to early 1975. Not everything had been going according to plan – the music wasn’t quite picking up as expected, and Jim and Barbara’s marriage had begun to fall apart. In a last bid to make something of himself, Jim picked up some of his belongings, packed his guitar, and hit the road with $125 in his pocket. Headed for Nashville, he had hopes of picking himself back up there. However, he never made it to Nashville. Apart from a final call to his wife from Santa Rosa on March 5th (about 900 miles into his journey), none of Jim’s friends or family ever heard of him again. His car and all his belongings were found. Jim, however, completely disappeared. To this day, we still don’t know what happened to him. For more visit: wotrradio.com

Listen as Janét interviews the incredibly talented Brenda MacIntyre, a Medicine Song Woman, who is a healer, business coach, spiritual mentor and award-winning singer. She helps women healers who are struggling with getting clients, to express themselves and their sacred power with confidence and charisma, and enrol committed clients, so they can make a massive difference in the world AND enjoy the freedom and prosperity they deserve. Brenda has been invited to speak and perform across North America, with TV and radio appearances across Canada. She has shared the stage with best-selling authors Dr. Masaru Emoto, Shakti Gawain and Gregg Braden. Brenda's latest CD, which earned her a nomination for a 2010 Canadian Folk Music Award, can be heard on the radio across Canada and the United States and she is being featured in an upcoming national TV documentary on Vision TV about the 2012 phenomenon. Brenda MacIntyre’s career began in 1985 when she moved to Toronto after both her adoptive parents had died. Her first hit single (“Non Stopping Hip Hopping,” Moods International Records, Florida) was charted as a “hot new item” on North Miami’s Top 40 station WPOW 96FM. Brenda’s second single, a substance abuse prevention awareness song, was featured on “The Gathering” compilation released by Attic Records in Toronto. In 1992, the CD won a Juno Award and Brenda earned a Canadian Reggae Music Award nomination. But behind the scenes, she was a single mom in a holding pattern of financial struggle and low self-esteem. After reconnecting with her Aboriginal heritage, and getting her self-esteem back, she created her highly sought-after signature seminar Sing Your Self Alive, which has since helped thousands of women across the nation to build their self-confidence. In Canada’s capital region, she is renowned for helping women to find their voice. In 2007 she was nominated for an Aboriginal People’s Choice Award and named Toronto’s Aboriginal Businesswoman of the Year. Today Brenda MacIntyre is mentor, coach and healer to women healers worldwide, using her natural healing abilities and down to earth spiritual guidance, combined with 14 years of motivational speaking and creative online marketing experience – and her powerful healing voice.

Bob asks the boys about their other creative endeavors, and of course we relate such activities to our skating. As promised, here are a few links: Matt's Stuff:Reach Megamix (Push the Feeling). Trick Matt discusses at :36http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juQ9QN0RrP8 Tony's Photographyon Flicker…and on Tumblr Some of Bob's stuff… The music on this episode is the Big Boys, of Austin, TX, and their song Self Contortion, from the new vinyl reissue of their album Where's My Towel?/Industry Standard, from Light in the Attic Records.
