Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to be deposed today, February 26, 2026, by the Republican-led U.S. House Oversight Committee as part of its ongoing investigation into the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The closed-door deposition in Chappaqua, New York — near the Clintons' home — is the first of two back-to-back hearings, with former President Bill Clinton set to testify tomorrow. The committee has pressed the Clintons for information on their past associations with Epstein, including Bill Clinton's acknowledged flights on Epstein's private jet and their appearances in Epstein-related documents released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Hillary Clinton has said she has little direct information to provide, denies wrongdoing, and has accused committee Republicans of pursuing a politically motivated process. The depositions follow months of tension between the Clintons and lawmakers, including threats to hold them in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with earlier subpoenas. Both Clintons initially resisted in-person testimony, offering written statements instead, before relenting to avoid a full contempt vote that could have led to legal consequences. Lawmakers from both parties on the Oversight Committee have said the sessions are meant to shed light on Epstein's network of influence, the federal government's handling of his prosecution, and unanswered questions about how Epstein avoided more serious charges after his 2008 conviction, although the proceedings are being conducted privately with transcripts and recordings expected to be released later.to contact  me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Hillary Clinton faces House Oversight Committee in Epstein investigation grilling | Fox News

It's becoming increasingly obvious that Trump's mountain of broken promises, radical foreign policy decisions and unorthodox economic policies are causing deep damage to his MAGA brand.Last week the Supreme Court, with three Trump appointees, ruled against Trump's use of IEEPA to issue tariffs. The court's ruling was only one of many failures for Trump last week as newly revised jobs data showed a major contraction in the labor market last year. The trade deficit in 2025 showed little improvement despite Trump's widespread use of tariffs and the fourth quarter GDP reading was well below expectations.According to multiple polls Americans have tired of Trump's harsh immigration policies, and military threats to foreign countries. Most voters have no interest in conquering Greenland, crushing Cuba, managing Venezuela or invading Iran.Grocery prices and utility bills remain elevated while Trump gaslights the American public insisting that costs for everything have dropped dramatically. Health insurance premiums for millions of Americans have dramatically increased while SNAP and Medicaid benefits have been cut.Meanwhile the president remains obsessed with his gigantic White House ballroom and plans for an oversized monumental arch built in his honor. The glorious leader has lost support among nearly every demographic except for his cultish base of supporters. There are even signs that diehard MAGA fans are losing faith.Underneath all of the spin more sinister details surrounding Trump's possible involvement with Jeffrey Epstein's many heinous crimes and sex trafficking operation remains.Fox News is desperate to keep the Trump myth alive either by ignoring stories that make the president look bad or spending excessive amounts of coverage on segments that aren't political. One sign of the network's panicked approach was the fact that Barack Obama's name appeared 74 times in the transcripts last week. We dive deep into the psychology of resiliency, the sacrifices of a father who worked the "night shift" just to hold his son's hand through adversity, and the incredible discipline it takes to navigate the world when your brain is wired differently. Supreme Court Strikes Down Trump's Emergency Tariffs in 6-3 Ruling, Reshaping Presidential Trade Powers

I never thought I'd be glued to my screen watching the Supreme Court hand President Donald Trump a gut punch on live tariffs, but here we are, listeners, just days after their bombshell ruling on Friday, February 20, 2026. Picture this: I'm in my living room in Washington, D.C., coffee in hand, when the news breaks from SCOTUSblog and The New York Times—Justices Strike Down Trump's Tariffs. In the consolidated cases Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump and V.O.S. Selections, Inc. v. Trump, a 6-3 majority, led by Chief Justice John Roberts, ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, or IEEPA, doesn't give the president the green light to slap tariffs on imports during so-called national emergencies.Trump had declared emergencies over drug trafficking from Canada and massive trade deficits, hitting Canadian goods with 25% duties and more worldwide. But Roberts' opinion, joined by Justices Clarence Thomas, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Amy Coney Barrett, and Ketanji Brown Jackson on key parts, said IEEPA lets the president regulate, block, or prohibit imports—not tax them with tariffs. The Court vacated one lower court ruling and affirmed another from the Federal Circuit, sending shockwaves through Wall Street and the heartland. Even among conservatives, there was drama: Justice Neil Gorsuch and Barrett concurred but split on details, while Justice Brett Kavanaugh dissented fiercely, arguing IEEPA's text and history backed Trump's power, and slamming the majority for ignoring the major questions doctrine in foreign affairs.By evening, Trump stormed to the podium outside the White House, as captured in that fiery CNBC Television clip. "I'm absolutely ashamed of certain members of the court," he thundered, calling some justices "disloyal to the Constitution" and "unpatriotic," swayed by "foreign interests." He ripped his own appointees—praising Kavanaugh's "genius" but blasting others as an "embarrassment to their families." No backing down, though. Trump vowed revenge, signing an executive order that very day titled "Ending Certain Tariff Actions," but pivoting to new weapons: a 10% global tariff under Section 122 of the Trade Act, set to kick in within days for up to 150 days or longer. He teased Section 301 investigations for unfair practices by China and others, plus fresh Section 232 probes on steel, aluminum, cars, copper—you name it.Fast-forward to Tuesday, February 24, in his State of the Union address, as ABC World News Tonight reported, Trump doubled down, framing the ruling as a bump in his America First road. Politico and Axios chronicled the fallout: lawmakers from both parties reacted, businesses cheered lower costs, but Trump's base roared approval online. The Washington Times noted his promise of "other authorities" to fight back, while Fox News called it a "major test of executive branch powers." Even The Guardian dubbed it the end of Trump's "one-man tariff war."Here I am on February 25, still buzzing. This isn't just legalese—it's a clash reshaping trade, presidential power, and maybe the Court itself. Will new tariffs survive in the D.C. Circuit or Federal Circuit? Trump's already hinting at years of fights. Clark Hill and DLA Piper analysts say uncertainty reigns, but Trump's playbook is thick. Thanks for tuning in, listeners—come back next week for more. Tucker Carlson continues to dominate headlines as tensions within Trump's MAGA movement escalate over his controversial stance on Israel. Just days ago, Carlson conducted a nearly three-hour interview with U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel, framing their discussion around what he called "America's deeply unhealthy relationship with Israel." The visit sparked immediate backlash, with Carlson claiming he was briefly detained by Israeli authorities, though officials characterized it as routine passport screening.Ambassador Huckabee has become one of Carlson's most vocal critics within the administration. Speaking to All Israel News, Huckabee expressed strong disapproval of Carlson's repeated attacks on Trump's Israel policy, stating he hopes the White House stops allowing Carlson access. According to reporting, Carlson was at the White House on Monday, though the White House has not officially confirmed the purpose of the visit. The civil war within Republican circles has intensified significantly. Laura Loomer, a prominent Trump supporter and Jewish activist, launched a scathing attack on Carlson, accusing him of attacking Trump publicly while privately requesting White House meetings. She called for the administration to issue an official statement condemning him. Conservative commentator Mark Levin also weighed in, calling Carlson "toxic" and urging GOP leadership to distance themselves from him.On the media front, Carlson's independent venture continues to gain traction. Since leaving Fox News in 2023, he's built a substantial digital following through his show on X and YouTube, with episodes routinely drawing millions of views. According to media reports, he's exploring new projects including subscription-based content and exclusive video series, positioning himself as a leader in the shift away from traditional cable news toward independent digital platforms.A recent controversy emerged regarding a sponsorship deal with Hallow, a Catholic prayer and meditation app. The partnership, announced on February 18, prompted polarized reactions from Christian users. Some said they planned to abandon the app due to the association, while others praised the collaboration. The announcement occurred as Carlson was promoting an interview with evangelical pastor Fares Abraham discussing Middle Eastern Christians and Israeli occupation.Trump has reportedly urged Carlson privately to tone down his Israel rhetoric, though no public rebuke has materialized. Political analysts note that Carlson maintains significant influence over a vocal segment of Trump's base, making any major rift within the movement potentially damaging to Republican unity heading into 2026 midterm elections.According to Washington Post reporting, Carlson's activities may particularly complicate matters for Vice President JD Vance, who has benefited from Carlson's support but now carries the political baggage associated with the commentator's controversial positions.Thank you for tuning in to the Tucker Carlson News Tracker podcast. But to Trump, this cannot be real: He just issued an angry, rambling tirade about how such polls are "fake." He even declared that his support is “silent,” while insisting he got many millions more votes in 2024 than he actually got. Amusingly, this came even as Fox News aired a striking graphic showing Trump's approval on tariffs at an abysmal 34-64. This isn't the first time Fox has admitted how badly things are going: The network's own recent poll found him deeply underwater on the economy, tariffs, and even immigration. We talked to Marquette University political scientist Julia Azari, author of a good new piece explaining how Trump operates outside the Constitution. We discuss how this extra-Constitutional governing is itself rendering him deeply unpopular, why Trump's poll denial reflects a refusal to acknowledge legitimate opposition, and what it all tells us about the current state of the American experiment.
