Quantum leap has become the new buzzword online. Earlier this year it was energetics and now it's quantum leap. And with this, I've noticed this trend of many people expecting their business to go boom overnight without actually doing the foundational work that leads to these big expansive results.Or business coaches talking about quantum leaps like they just happened without actually sharing the reality of how it happened. The behind-the-scenes “who, what, when, where, how, why” context is missed when they're only sharing photos of them sipping cocktails in Bali or the multitude of Stripe deposits into their bank account. There's nothing wrong with sharing this of course – but context is everything.Despite what the online space might have you believe – you simply don't wave a magic wand and hello 6-figure business.Because here's the thing – if you want BIG results in your business you've gotta be willing to put in the work. And what I know to be true is that these quantum leaps are actually a result of consistency and certain characteristics business owners embody. It's THIS that leads you to that tipping point of seemingly overnight results aka a quantum leap.So in today's episode of the How I Do Content Podcast I'm sharing 5 characteristics of clients who get results. When my clients embody these characteristics consistently – that's when the magic happens! So let's begin.Things You'll Learn in this Episode of How I Do ContentThe secret behind the new buzzword in the online space is not what you might thinkThe 5 characteristics of clients who get results Why embodying these characteristics is where the magic happensJoin the Introverted Biz-Wizard Mastermind6 months of support from Ned & I to help you find your voice, build a brand you love and create an introvert-friendly business strategy that lights you the fuck up.I myself know and have experienced first-hand the impact of being surrounded by magical humans in a mastermind container with the support of a business coach who truly gets you.And this is what you'll receive over 6 magical months as an intimate group of biz-witches & wizards. We start next Monday 26th September, so if you're ready to create incredible magic in your business and get the results you truly desire – come and join us.You can find out more at http://www.thesocialbolt.com.au/mastermindBackground Music is Copyright Free. What Matters Now (ft. David Horsager)David Horsager on research and trust— and why they're closely linkedOPENING QUOTE:“We had, by that October, $1.40 to our name after paying our urgent bills. And we lived in the basement of 86 year old Clara Miller's home with no windows, no bathroom, no kitchen, but we could walk three flights of stairs up and share her bathroom. And we had a half of a shelf in her fridge and we could share that and it had black mold on the walls. And that's how we started this speaking business.”-David HorsagerGUEST BIO:David Horsager is the CEO of Trust Edge Leadership Institute, bestselling author of three books, and internationally recognized expert on trust— as well as one of the most successful keynote speakers on the circuit.Links:WebsiteBooksFaceBookLinkedInTwitterYouTubeInstagramCORE TOPICS + DETAILS:[4:22] - A Speaker's Number One JobHint: it may not be what you thinkThe reason you follow a leader, buy a product, or experience transformation after a speech is all about trust. It's not about being liked, it's about being trusted. Rather than trying to talk about fifteen different topics, or write your keynote around making yourself look good, you should instead focus on creating trust between you and your audience— then going from there.[14:05] - David's Unique Approach to ResearchLearning and brainstorming his wayResearch, research, research. That's one of the biggest takeaways from our conversation with David. He's a diligent, almost obsessive researcher, drawing on resources from every field he can find to come up with actionable and proven messages. As a side effect, this research leads to connections with a wide range of people and organizations— and more engagements. [22:32] - Key Questions to Ask YourselfExpert advice when writing and delivering keynotesWhen writing or delivering every keynote, David asks himself this question: What does this mean to them now? This ensures that his message is not only relevant, but also timely. Is your message outdated? Is it striking a resonant chord with your audience where they are at this present moment, and where they'll be tomorrow? Another question: Are you committed to your client? Are you committed to this business? If the answer is yes, you'll do whatever it takes to make a five-star impact.[27:31] -The Eight Pillars of TrustApplying them to your speaking businessDavid doesn't dive deep on all eight pillars of trust, but he does mention a few. Intent and compassion, which shows we care about someone beyond their benefit to us. Consistency is another— the only way to build a reputation is visible consistency. Finally, competency: if you want to be trusted in your area of expertise, you have to be competent.RESOURCES:[7:00] Begin with Trust, Harvard Study[21:30] About Donald Miller[24:01] The Trusted Leader Show, Podcast by DavidFollow David Horsager:WebsiteBooksFaceBookLinkedInTwitterYouTubeInstagramFollow Josh Linkner:FacebookLinkedInInstagramTwitterYouTubeABOUT MIC DROP:Brought to you by eSpeakers, hear from the world's top thought leaders and experts, sharing tipping point moments, strategies, and approaches that led to their speaking career success. Home prices are a big part of the housing market. But not as big as interest rates. As the Federal Reserve sets out to “kill the economy” with rising mortgage rates, researchers like John Burns dig through the data to find out what real estate investors can do to take advantage. John isn't a beginner in the real estate space—his consulting company has been doing this type of work for two decades, providing some of the biggest real estate investors with the most up-to-date information.John isn't optimistic about this housing market. The data he's been collecting shows that home prices could see dramatic drops over the next couple of years and that the housing supply problem may only get worse. But, he also sees opportunities for investors that could take the place of the appreciation gains we got all too used to. John's team participates in over nine hundred consulting studies a year, meaning if there's one person who knows what's happening in the housing market, it's probably him.In this episode, we talk about housing market predictions, how flippers got caught, why Ibuyers are less of a threat than most investors think, and what will happen to the housing supply as developers start selling off homes at break-even prices. Are we heading towards a 2008-sized cliff or could this be a small hiccup on the continuous road to real estate appreciation? In This Episode We CoverThe new development vs. resale housing market and what they say about the economyAn unbelievable opportunity for apartment investors as homebuying dries upHousing supply and why builders may not be in the same predicament as in 2008Ibuyers/institutional investors and why they're a much smaller threat than most people thinkThe home price “wipeout” that is coming down the pipeline for sellersWhy refreshing/remodeling homes could make a profitable comeback this decade And So Much More!Links from the ShowBiggerPockets ForumsBiggerPockets AgentJoin BiggerPockets for FREEOn The MarketJoin the Future of Real Estate Investing with FundriseConnect with Other Investors in the “On The Market” ForumsSubscribe to The “On The Market” YouTube ChannelFind an Investor Friendly Agent in Your AreaDave's BiggerPockets ProfileDave's InstagramHenry's BiggerPockets ProfileHenry's InstagramJames' BiggerPockets ProfileJames' InstagramJamil's BiggerPockets ProfileJamil's InstagramKathy's BiggerPockets ProfileKathy's InstagramOn the Market Podcast 14 with Logan MohtashamiOn the Market Podcast 17 with Rick ShargaConnect with John:John's Real Estate ConsultingEmail John for a Link to The BRRRR/Fix and Flip SurveyCheck the full show notes here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/on-the-market-31Interested in learning more about today's sponsors or becoming a BiggerPockets partner yourself? A stock market crash looks like bad news. The world is ending and everything is down. There won't be any more profits to take…until the stock market gets back on track, which it always does. We're not kidding—take a look at the past hundred years of total stock market performance and you'll see something not-so-shocking. The stock market always finds a way to head back up, even after massive crashes like the great depression and great recession. You don't need to trust David and Mindy on this, instead, trust a stock investing expert like Brian Feroldi. Brian wrote the book on why the stock market always goes up, appropriately titled, Why Does The Stock Market Go Up?: Everything You Should Have Been Taught About Investing In School, But Weren't. Brian uses this book to educate, inform, and enhance investors' abilities to invest without stress, headache, or anxiety about future prices. In this episode, Brian demystifies the calculations behind investing in the stock market. From price to earnings ratios to company valuations, and why individual stock picking only makes sense if you're the right type of person. He also hints at a “multimillion-dollar mistake” some investors are making when investing for retirement. I think it's pretty safe to say that we've all been there before: there's something we need to do - whether that be to start an uncomfortable conversation, cut contact with an ex, or finally leave a relationship - and we just can't bring ourselves to do it because it feels so wrong. We know that it's the right move, but it's hard to do because it doesn't feel good. That's what I'm talking about this week. This episode was inspired by a client in my group coaching program who was facing a situation that just didn't feel good, and I coached her through taking the steps she needed to take so that she could do the thing she knew she needed to do.I am fascinated by the conversations I have with people who don't understand coaching. Some people think that it is fun and there's nothing really tough when it comes to coaching. I would argue that while coaching with the right coach can lead to amazing results, it definitely requires you to go through the hard stuff in order to get there. Leaning into the discomfort and vulnerability is hard work. But when you make it through to the other side, you will see that the rewards are so worth every bit of it. If you are stuck and maybe even avoiding doing something you know you need to do but it feels so wrong, I want to hear from you and I want to help coach you through it! I invite you to check out my 60-video course, Stop Wanting Him Back and Find Someone Better, where I take you step-by-step through the process of healing your heart, falling in love with you, and finding someone better. As a child, no one ever suspected Denise had ADHD because she always had her nose in a book, performed excellently in school, and behaved well. #seo #website # content #blogpost #Introductions get a lot of #attention. They're the first thing you see and will either hook you into the #article or bore you to leave. Now, I turn to #conclusions, which don't get the same attention but are critical. Your #readers who arrive at them have cared enough about the #topic to consume it all. Focus on the wrong aspects or omit them, and you risk people leaving your site forever. Here are 10 #options to #create more #effectiveconclusions. 1. #AddressmultiplepointsWhen writing conclusions, I tend to stick to the #classicstructure: ● Final words on the topic with one more #keywordmention ● #CallToAction to a product or service ● Final question or food for thought that will #motivate people to #comment or #share the #post 2. #Prioritize one #CallToActionEnvision your article's conclusion as a landing page. Multiple #CTAs will confuse readers. They could pick the low-priority #CTA link instead of the one you really wanted to emphasize. Roger Maftean's post on #CTAs will help you create ones that convert so you can pick the best single option #CTA to use as the conclusion. In this example, adobe makes it obvious what it wants readers to do: 3. Make it a #summarySummarizing a post is a frequently used #tactic. You want people to remember your #mainideas and maybe even your #brand name. 4. #SellsubtlyIf you haven't managed to bring up your #product or #service in the #body of an #article, incorporate a #subtlemention at the #end. 5. #Giveaway something You can give #readers something #relevant to the #articletopic, a #handout, #template, #video, or #testimonial that will be #helpful or #motivate them. 6. Keep them #readingYou already know the #reader is interested in the #topic if they get to the #conclusion. You can use that to push them to other #relevantcontent, keeping them on your #website longer. Write a #blogpost ends while keeping in mind the possibility for people to stay on your #website and read more on a #subject. 7. Adapt to the #contenttypeLike with everything in the #content world, there's no one-size-fits-all. If you have different #types of #blogposts, you can make your #conclusion consistent with each #type. For #casestudies, the most natural flow is to highlight how people could get in touch with you or find out more about your #solution. 8. Build a #communityCreate a sense of belonging by inviting people to join your #community on #socialmedia or other #channels like slack, circle, etc. Provide a #sneakpeek into what your #community looks like and the #perks of being there. #Pinpoint #pastachievements and appeal to causes your #audience care about. 9. Get #people to #thinkThe best #conclusion is one people will remember long after. Asking your #readers to reflect encourages them to keep thinking (and remembering your content) after reading. 10. Touch on #rankingfactorsConclusions are yet one more way of playing a bit with google's ranking factors. #Comments count as #pagecontent. Bring readers over to your comments section with sentences like “ask a question and drop your best or brightest below.” Or “let us know in the comments below.” Globally Recognized #DigitalMarketing #Certifications: https://thedigitalmarketinginstitute.org/ INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF #DIGITALMARKETING ™ Learning Leaf: https://thedigitalmarketinginstitute.org/Learning-Leaf/ For Course Details: https://thedigitalmarketinginstitute.org/courses ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF #DIGITALMARKETING ™ is a certifying body founded in the USA by several long-standing #marketers. Everyone, crack open a beverage and trust me when I tell you that you’re in for a delicious, edge-of-your-seat, ultra-special episode today. The EntrepreNot Yet show is delighted to welcome a legend, an OG to online business, an absolute authority on building your service-based business, and, not to mention, the author of the important and timely book, The Middle Finger Project – all about trashing your Imposter Syndrome and seizing your rightful throne in business and in life. Today, I am proud to welcome the one and only Ash Ambirge to the show. For a lot of reasons it’s amazing that Ash is on the show, but especially because she is someone who has seen the trends, evolutions, and failures of the online service-based industry, and she is spilling the beans on how you can pull up your own chair to the business table and demand your spot. No second-guessing, no putting your energy in places that won’t move the needle in your business, and lots of betting on yourself. Of course, we talk about all the normal things my guests and I usually discuss – bucket hats, applying balm to unsavory areas, and fake mustaches. Because of course we do. Specifically, and on top of that, Ash, her Downton Abbey bucket hat, and I talk about:The public service that is her book, The Middle Finger Project®, released earlier this yearHow the little throwaway “micro-digs” we tell ourselves are hurting us – and our businesses – way more than we thinkWhy waiting for permission is holding us back from wild success – are you guilty of this? The role and responsibility you *actually* have in your business, and it’s definitely not what you thinkThe one mistake too many people make in talking about their business (and how it’s hurting your bank account)How to draw people into your funnel the RIGHT way – not the noisy, confusing wayWhy the demand for honesty in our industry (and America) is giving Ash hopeThe only thing you need to worry about when starting out in businessAnd if you know Ash even a little bit, it goes without saying that, yes, this episode does have salty language and adult themes – which is of course one of the reasons it’s so fun. Ash's bioAsh Ambirge is the author of THE MIDDLE FINGER PROJECT (Penguin Random House 2020) and the CEO of the irreverent female-focused sales training co. by the same name that helps women make damn good money online through a variety of signature programs, workshops, courses, talks and books. Her work has been praised by authors such as Seth Godin and Sarah Knight (author of “The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck”), and was recently selected to be featured on The Today Show, The Jenny McCarthy Show, CBS Radio, Start-Up Nation, Linked In, Gaping Void, Parade Magazine, Mixergy, and hundreds of podcasts.Ash splits her time between her historic apartment in Old City, Philly and her little cottage in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica with her darling partner, C, whom she drags to Europe every summer to more closely investigate the matter of whiskey, wine, and people with Scottish accents. Her feet are definitely bigger than yours, and she hates fish.

REVIEW OF THE WEEK: By Kelsey VL Trish, I just wanted to thank you so much for your podcast. I am going through a really hard time in my life with my career and feeling stuck and scared for the future. I found your podcast when I needed it the most. I am a struggling perfectionist and struggle wiht always not feeling good enough. Your podcast has helped me considerably to change my mindset and attitude! You have an infectious kind spirit and a genuine personality! I 'm so thankful I found your podcast and highly recommend for anyone struggling to find their way in life and with their capabilities. There are so many insightful and helpful topics you discuss! Thank you again and your story and background give me hope I can change my life for the better as well. WHY ARE WE ACTUALLY THINKING ABOUT FOOD ARE THE TIME? We buffer. We have a distorted sense of self-care. We have created unnecessary rules, fears, and restrictions. We believe that the "good life" isn't available to us. We are too busy for basic enjoyment of food and rush through it. We are spiritually hungry for more and for meaning. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN OUR LIVES ARE DETERMINED BY FOOD? I can speak from first-hand experience, and from that of the hundreds of women I have worked with privately over the years ... it is like living in an invisible prison. Your thoughts are consumed. Your joy is conditional.

HISTORICAL NOTE: I live in Virginia, close to DC, and at the time of this recording, the cornavirus is hitting my area exceptionally hard, and the streets are flooded at night with both peaceful protests and violent riots. Conflict is everywhere - pain is rampant - people are trying to do the right thing and being upturned by opportunists who are looting and destroying towns. We are desperate for racial reconcilation and equal rights - for proper judiciary justice and for the abolition of racial profiling. Good and love are pouring out from all ethnicities - and in the same areas, those groups also have representatives spewing hate. Hate destroys everything. I record today with the thought of what bullying does - what hatred does. Our world is groaning in pain. It feels like it's swirling and intensifying, making it easy to feel uncertain of how to move forward. I ache alongside you, and simply hope to offer a few notes of encouragement for you to tuck into your heart this week.  Confidence is the state of heart of being able to walk with certainty in a life that is filled with uncertainty. So, with that in mind, here are some simple reminders of ways to remain confident and secure no matter what swirls around you or what tomorrow brings. The one thing that is certain is that we have absolutely no idea what will happen tomorrow, or next week or next month. To create certainty in your life, create habits and thoughts that make you better, and that makes those around you better. Love wins, and the love you put out into the world is needed now more than ever.Repair the despair around you by living with an open a...

We’ve all been there - back from a hard night’s boozing and hungry. Most of us would simply eat some toast and hit the hay, but then most of us aren’t Will Shu, founder and CEO of Deliveroo. “I was like, wow, you know, you can't get any decent food delivered here when you've been boozing. Then I was like, wait a minute, maybe I should start something that is a late night delivery service for food that you can get in like half an hour. You want it for McDonald's or BK.”And so from a late night boozy idea, everyone's favourite takeaway service delivery unicorn company, Deliveroo, was born. Today this incredible company that began life in a shared flat in 2013, with Will and four other riders delivering food, has seen off the competition in the form of Uber Eats and received significant investment in their latest funding round (to the tune of £450m) from Amazon, valuing Deliveroo at over $4 billion. Widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and impressive founders in the European entrepreneurship scene, we couldn’t think of anyone better to see this series off in style than Will. “I think for me, what I love more than anything is primary research. Talking to customers, talking to riders, talking to restaurants, and doing that in different markets. That really energises me and just understanding what are the problems they face and how can we solve them? Like that, to me is super motivating.”We chat about:How Just Eat influenced him, but not in the way you thinkThe genesis of DeliverooHow Deliveroo was funded and its expansion internationallyThe idea behind Additions and the challenges they’ve overcome with itHow Deliveroo has revolutionised the eating out economyHis thoughts on the gig economyThe challenge of being a CEO when he’s not a professional executiveWant to receive our podcast on a weekly basis? The design businesses (and all businesses) eat their customer's complexity. The worst businesses avoid the complexity and hand it to their clients. Most designers don't understand this simple rule, they can only see things through their own eyes and they see the client as the person that should take the most of the responsibility. These design businesses never last. On today's episode, Patrick explains how to eliminate complexity so that you can provide more value and beat others in your space at a game they don't even know exists. Some highlights from this episode: We look into how business owners truly thinkThe only two problems that a business facesHow budgets get allocated by a business owner and whyWhere all designers fail when it comes to complexityThe greater the complexity you solve the more you get paid

Seven Simple ways you can get better at your job.Show up on time When you show up on time, you begin to cultivate a reputation of being dependableIf you are regularly late, people will filter what you say through their perception of you. This usually frustrates people. The good news, however, is that you can easily avoid this problem all together by showing up on time.Choose to grow in your discipline. Set alerts on your computer, phone, watch, shoes, whatever has notifications on it. Don’t book back to back meetings if you struggle with being on time. Leave padding between meetings.Communicate if you are going to be late.A proactive “sorry, I’m running late” lessens the frustration.2. Be preparedCome to meetings having done workStay focused on the agendaUnderstand the counter arguments and be prepared to address themDon’t make up answers. If you don’t know, say that you will find the answer and do it ASAP.Think about what those listening care about. What information do they need to know in order to make a good decision? Some care about budget. Some theology. Some data. Don’t judge what they want to know, provide answers. 3. Be a multilayered thinkerSweat the details when you are presentingAnticipate the next question, and have an answer for itTie what is happening to the objective What are you trying to accomplish, and how does it help move the mission forward? 4. Put in more effort Try three things before asking for helpTry to find the answer on your ownPay attention to what you tried before Projects seem to take way more or way less time than we think they should. Don’t lose your due diligence just because this project is taking longer. 5. Ask clarifying questionsIf you don’t understand something, ask for clarificationThere is nothing shameful about needing more clarification Projects I’ve been on that lack clarity usually lack success as well 6. Stop giving upDon’t stop with your assessment of a “no”Share what brought you to that conclusion, and let others speak into itThe hurdles you see might not be as big as you thinkThe project might be more important than you realize7. Respect the time of others. Before you walk into a meeting or a conversation, have a clear plan of attack. Seek the information you need, and be ready to move on. Consider the time you are taking from others. Don’t demand more time than you need. Free them up to continue to pursue the ministry they have been called to. Bottom line:More often than not, the difference between success and failure is found in our willingness to work hard at the little things.

Let's get into that right now.Hi Forex traders. Andrew Mitchem here, The Forex Trading Coach. Today is Friday the 26th of August.A dull trading week with few quality setupsThis week has been particularly dull on the charts. It's been a horrible trading week. There's been very little decent price actions, been very few quality set ups. The market has gone sideways. It's almost as if the market is waiting for something to happen in the market. Some news announcement or something. It's waiting for something to happen in order to kick-start it into action again in either direction.Let's hope it happens really soon because this week has been a very hard week to trade. We need to know how to deal with range bound market conditionsLet's talk about that because from time to time, as traders, we have to experience these flat, sideways moving markets. When there really is not a lot happening. It's important to become patient. That's a big point from today's video and podcast because patience and looking at the longer term perspective, the bigger picture, is really important as a Forex trader.Look at the bigger pictureWe all get so very caught up on taking in an individual trade, and yes that went really well, and now it lost and doom and gloom. It's important to look at the bigger picture. Look at your trading over a number of weeks, a number of months, etc, rather than just being worried about the last trade.Trade what you see, not what you thinkThe great thing about being a technical trader in these current market conditions that we've experienced this week is that because I'm trading what I see and not what I think … There's an important point there. I'll say that again. I trade what I see, not what I think. As a technical trader, I trade what I see on the charts. What the charts are showing me right now.If I look at the market as a fundamental trader, which I'm not, then I tend to bring my opinion into the market a little bit too much. When you get the sideways moving markets, you can probably get caught out far more than you can as a technical trader. As a technical trader, if there's nothing really shining, then I just have to have patience and I wait. I can scale down to the shorter time frame charts if I want to to look for shorter time frame trades, but personally, I don't tend to do that quite as much. I tend to stick to the charts that I like, and if they're not showing anything, then I just don't take anything.Again, think of that bigger term picture, that longer term perspective. Don't worry about this week not taking much. When less is moreSometimes if you don't take very many trades in a week, that's fine. It just means that you don't have many opportunities and that's the way that the market conditions are. You then have to wait for those favorable conditions, and when they come, don’t be and then afraid to take trades. If they show, then definitely take them, if they're not showing then don't force trades, don't over trade. It's a really important balance there to get because of course, right at the time, you don't know really what the conditions are. It's only now at the end of the week, I can look back and say to you, "Look,
