The Oldest Independent Bottlers and a Brand New Scottish Distillery Are you fascinated by the rich history of whisky and the art of independent bottling? Join me as I welcome esteemed friend Gary Pickard, Northeast Regional Manager of Pacific Edge Wine and Spirits. Gary takes us on a captivating journey through the histories of two iconic independent bottlers, William Cadenheads and AD Rattray. From George Duncan's founding of William Cadenheads in 1842 to Robert W. Duthie's tragic end and the company's resilience through decades of challenges, this episode is packed with intriguing insights and personal anecdotes from visits to Cadenheads boutique stores in London and Edinburgh. As we continue, we explore the storied legacy of Campbeltown whiskies and the remarkable survival of distilleries like Springbank and Glen Scotia. Gary shares his deep knowledge of AD Rattray, tracing its evolution from Andrew Dewar Rattray's grocery store in 1868 to its current state under Tim Morrison's leadership. We delve into the Morrison family's significant impact on the whisky industry, including their acquisitions of Bowmore, Glengarry, and Auchentoshan, now under Suntory's ownership. This episode underscores the critical role independent bottlers play in bringing the hidden gems of lesser-known distilleries to light. Finally, we unravel the complexities of Islay whiskies, discussing the distinctive features of renowned distilleries like Bowmore, Lagavulin, and Bruichladdich. We explore the cultural contrasts between Japanese and Anglo-American approaches to whisky production and the challenges faced during Suntory's acquisition of Beam. Additionally, we touch on the resurgence of distilleries within Glasgow's city limits, spotlighting the modern marvel that is Clydeside Distillery. This episode is a rich tapestry of whisky history, culture, and the intricate world of independent bottling that any whisky enthusiast won't want to miss. Today we're talking about the ego, and how it potentially plays tricks on us from time to time. In a Spiritus breathwork session today, Renee - who's currently in facilitator training with Tim Morrison and Murray - experienced a moment where her ego put up a fight. So why does the ego push back against the subconscious coming to light? And how do you identify when it's happening? To read the full notes for this episode, click here.
Tim Morrison is a lifelong musician and singer, but he says he still took the safe path and made sure to go to college. A Journalism degree later and a move to New York City led him to a unique career and life that wound up in anti-counterfeiting in the fashion world. Deaths in the family lead to a move to Naples in 2005 and a return to music. His self-written/performed/engineered/produced/promoted/laptop album ended up with his song “Weight” featured on All Songs Considered - Second Stage and an interview on Gulf Coast Live - Arts Edition, back before it was Gulf Coast Life. Tim ended up working at the Naples Zoo, the Holocaust Museum & Cohen Education Center, and right here in public media at WGCU.

Is the healing process ever complete? Healing has been an important topic in my life and one I try to touch on often on this podcast. It is a beautifully intense process of really opening, being willing to be seen and see yourself, and also ready to step into the work that it takes to move through some of the traumas and woundings that hold us all back. This week, I brought on Tim Morrison; an artist, healer, and facilitator who has experienced his own profound healing journey and has also worked with so many in their own processes to find deeper levels of themselves and their truth. I found that Tim and I had a lot in common, and I think you will too. After all, healing is kind of a collective thing is it not? We talk about: Some of our own personal journey of healing. The work it can take to recognize patterns of trauma and start the work. The importance of healing work, especially in today's day and age, and how healing ourselves can be a collective effort. The depths of sexual trauma, and the mountain it can be to process and move through something that happens too regularly to both men and women. Tim is a 1974 graduate of the Law School. He retired from the US Attorney's Office in Indianapolis in 2011 after 23 years of service. He litigated violent crime, firearms, public corruption, white collar, and national security cases. When he retired he was First Assistant U.S. Attorney, and he had served as interim leader of the office three times during his 23 years--briefly in 1993, from 2000 to 2001, and again for more than three years from 2007 to 2010. Tim started in the office in 1988, after working as a chief deputy prosecutor in Monroe County and a supervisory deputy prosecutor in the Marion County Prosecutor's Office. After stepping down from the U.S. Attorneys Office. Tim joined the Maurer School of Law as a distinguished adjunct professor, where for almost 10 years he taught a range of criminal law and procedure courses and helped spearhead the Bradley Fellows Program, including overseeing the unique Bradley externship program.
In last week's episode of Horns of a Dilemma, we heard from Professor Jane Vaynman how emerging technologies may influence the future of arms control. In this week's episode, we hear from Tim Morrison, currently of the Hudson Institute and formerly a deputy advisor to the president for national security in the Trump administration, how arms control is influenced by different positions staked out by the major U.S. political parties. Morrison focuses particularly on negotiations surrounding the extension of the new START treaty between the United States and Russia, and also discusses the role of China, a growing nuclear power with whom the United States does not have any bilateral nuclear arms control agreements. This talk was held at the University of Texas, Austin, and was hosted by the Clements Center. Note: Mr. Morrison is employed by Boeing, which competes for U.S. missile defense contracts. In this talk, he was speaking in his capacity as a Hudson Institute fellow, and not as a Boeing employee.
Tim Morrison is the creator of Invictus, a Mens programme centred around the masculine archetypes and values. Through Invictus he has helped hundreds of men in WA, recently holding his first womens program too. Invictus has been the most impactful program ive ever done, and in this podcast, we explore my experience of it, as well as a few questions I have for Tim. The reason for this episode is to help those men and women sitting on the fence, get the answers they need, to feel safe enough to begin the process and receive Tims magic. Legendary trumpeteer talks his illustrious career as former Associate Principal Trumpet of the Boston Symphony Orchestra / Principal Trumpet of the Boston Pops and his subsequent life as studio musician in Los Angeles, including his many collaborations with John Williams as soloist on such scores as Born On The Fourth of July, JFK, Nixon and Saving Private Ryan Hosted by Maurizio Caschetto and Tim Burden Trumpet legend Tim Morrison has defined probably more than any other soloists one of the key signature styles of John Williams, enhancing the American spirit in many of the composer's brilliant pieces for film and the concert hall through his singing, lyrical trumpet sound and purity of tone. Tim Morrison has been the voice of Ron Kovic's struggle in Born on the Fourth of July and the reminiscence of President Kennedy's core American values in JFK; he underlined John Quincy Adams' noble speeches in Amistad, and accompanied with somber, plaintive tones the drama of World War II American soldiers in Saving Private Ryan. Whenever John Williams needed that signature American sound in some of his film scores, he often chose Tim Morrison to be the interpreter of choice. Also, as Principal Trumpet of the Boston Pops Orchestra from 1987 to 1997, he has often being the soloist of choice in many concerts and recordings with Williams on the podium. In this wide, in-depth conversation, Tim Morrison talks about his brilliant career and musical life, from his studies and early days as performer to his arrival in Boston, his many collaborations with John Williams as soloist on Born on the Fourth of July, JFK, Nixon and Saving Private Ryan, but also the many brilliant Boston Pops recordings he performed in, including the iconic Summon the Heroes solo. He also reflects on Williams' comment about his "American sound", his life as studio musician in L.A., and his solo recording album After Hours.

I have another interview coming up for you today and I have to say, I’m loving these sessions. It’s so great to connect with other men and have those deeper conversations. On the podcast today I’m joined by Tim Morrison. I’ve been following Tim for some time and I have been very impressed with the incredible work he is doing for men in the personal development space. Tim began his journey as a personal trainer at the age of 17 and fell in love with deep, transformational work, coaching people from the inside out. During this time, Tim was dedicated to his career as a Thai boxer, competing at high level which saw him win the State and Australian WKN lightweight title, fighting within Australia and also Russia and Thailand. After a severe career ending neck injury, Tim went into his own deep transformational space, losing himself and life as he knew it. He went from a life of passion and purpose to a dark depression, suicidal instincts and what felt like no reason to live, after losing what mattered most to him. After combating a number of mental health issues, Tim vowed that if he ever got through this then he would share how with others. We touch on so many fantastic topics today such as: Masculinity and this idea of hurt masculinity Improving our relationships Shamanic work The power of breathwork The wounds that are birthed in us as children, and how we can heal from those Releasing our traumas to become happier, healthier individuals. With the beautiful mezzo soprano voice of Pamela Dillard and the stately trumpet playing of Tim Morrison in his arsenal, John Williams delivered a score for "Amistad" that feels like the Maestro wrote two different scores for one film. One part of the score features tribal African percussion rhythms accentuated by Dillard vocalizing the main theme, while the other features an Americana flavor for the theme for President John Quincy Adams. But, in the context of the film, the two sides of the same score work wonderfully. Jeff Commings is joined for the third time on "The Baton" by Brian Martell as the two discuss the scenes that feature some moving and memorable music, and highlight the song that Williams wrote called "Dry Your Tears, Afrika," based on a 1967 poem that perfectly fits the scenes for which they were written.

The 1995 film "Nixon" was the third and final collaboration between director Oliver Stone and composer John Williams. The film presents a fractured story of Nixon's rise from humble beginnings in California to the presidency. That uneven presentation likely hampered Williams' ability to paint -- musically speaking -- on the canvas Stone presented him. The film features strong themes, from the main theme on Tim Morrison's trumpet to the mournful family theme on strings. Host Jeff Commings doesn't shy away from talking about the obvious connection one of the themes has with "The Imperial March" and how it symbolizes Nixon's strength at his highest points politically. Some of the best musical moments were not used in the film, including music for Nixon's misdeeds and for his older brother's death, and those are presented to let you figure if they deserved to be featured in the film.

John Williams' fifth foray into the war film genre was "Born on the Fourth of July," featuring a somewhat restrained score shortly after his work on "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade." His score features two haunting themes, one for strings and another for the trumpet. Tim Morrison, the principal trumpet player for the Boston Pops at the time, made his film score debut with a gorgeous performance. Williams' score is one of many excellent aspects of this film, including Oliver Stone's direction and the career-defining performance by Tom Cruise.

President Donald Trump on Saturday defended the firing of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman from the National Security Council. The President complained about news coverage of the firing in a tweet, saying reporting was done "as though I should think only how wonderful he was. Actually, I don't know him, never spoke to him, or met him (I don't believe!)."On Friday, Trump fired two key impeachment witnesses, dismissing Vindman, the top Ukraine expert at the council, and US Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland. An adviser to Trump told CNN the firings of the major impeachment witnesses was meant to send a message that siding against the President will not be tolerated.Trump on Saturday claimed that Vindman "reported contents of my 'perfect' calls incorrectly," which those close to Vindman have disputed. Vindman reported concerns about Trump's July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to other officials with the National Security Council. The President also attacked Vindman's work performance, claiming he was given a "horrendous" report by his superior that he had problems with judgment and leaking information. Tim Morrison, Vindman's boss at the time and a former top Russia and Europe adviser on the National Security Council, did question Vindman's judgment during congressional testimony in November. He testified he had been warned about Vindman's judgment when he took over the position and claimed Vindman did not keep him in the loop.Vindman defended himself during his testimony saying he reported his concerns about the July 25 phone call as he was directed to do. Also he brought with him a review from his former boss, then-White House Russia adviser Fiona Hill, who praised his performance, to rebut the issue Morrison raised.Morrison had testified it was Hill in addition to others who warned him about Vindman's judgment. When she testified as part of the impeachment inquiry two days after Morrison's testimony, Hill clarified the conversation she had with Morrison about Vindman. Hill said that she was aiming to convey a specific concern about Vindman transitioning to a more political role and not meaning to raise a general concern about his overall judgment."I was concerned that if, for example, Colonel Vindman might decide to leave the military, that perhaps he wasn't as well suited for something that would be much more political," Hill testified. "I did not feel that he had the political antenna to deal with something that was straying into domestic politics. Not everyone is suited for that. That does not mean in any way that I was questioning his overall judgment, nor was I questioning in any way his substantive expertise."Vindman's attorney criticized Saturday's tweets from Trump, saying the comments are "obviously false.""The President this morning made a series of obviously false statements concerning Lieutenant Colonel Vindman; they conflict with the clear personnel record and the entirety of the impeachment record of which the President is well aware. While the most powerful man in the world continues his campaign of intimidation, while too many entrusted with political office continue to remain silent, Lieutenant Colonel Vindman continues his service to our country as a decorated, active duty member of our military," attorney David Pressman said in a statement to CNN.Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer weighed in on the President's Saturday tweets about Vindman, posting on Twitter, "Has any 'President' ever been more disrespectful to U.S. service members?"Vindman, a decorated veteran who was born in Ukraine, was escorted out of the White House by security and told his services were no longer needed, according to Pressman.Pressman said in a statement that it is clear his client was fired for testifying in the impeachment probe."There is no question in the mind of any American why this man's job is over, why this country now has one less soldier serving it at the White House,"...

Week two of the public impeachment hearings started on Tuesday November 19. This hearing was jam packed with testimony from four witnesses with legitimate knowledge of the details surrounding the July 25th phone call in which the president attempted to pressure the President of Ukraine to launch an investigation into his top political opponent Joe Biden in return for critical military aid for Ukraine’s fight against Russia. We heard from Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine specialist on the National Security Council, Jennifer Williams, a foreign service aide detailed to Vice President Pence's office. Kurt Volker, the former special envoy to Ukraine, who along with Sondland and Energy Secretary Rick Perry was part of the "three amigos" tasked by the president to handle Ukraine policy and Tim Morrison, a former National Security Council aide. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/factsdriven/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/factsdriven/support

In an epic 12 hour impeach-a-thon, four witnesses took the stand, including Lt. Colonel Vindman, Pence aid Jennifer Williams, former special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker, and Europe and Russia special expert slash spokesman for drinking milk Tim Morrison. We talk through the biggest takeaways. And in headlines: Epstein guards on trial, Madea’s big debate, and the new Cats trailer is not safe for human or animal consumption
In the afternoon of Nov. 20, the committee heard from Tim Morrison, the former senior director for Europe and Russia at the National Security Council, and Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine. At Lawfare, we have taken out all the unnecessary speeches, partisan bickering, and repetition to bring you just the portions of the testimony you need to hear.
On Tuesday’s Mark Levin show, Rep Adam Schiff is obstructing Congress and hiding the so-called whistleblower to protect himself. The bureaucrats in the CIA, National Security Council, and other areas of our government are used to getting their way. They work with the Democrats in Washington. They worked to supplant the President's appointments by slow-walking requests for security clearances for President Trump's appointees so that former President Obama's hold-overs could remain on the NSC. The real story here is how Schiff prevents Republicans from asking questions in the impeachment hearings that would expose who leaked the classified information claiming that it's actually to protect the so-called whistleblower (whom nobody seems to know). Then, Reps. Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan established from today's witnesses that there was no bribery or impeachable offense. Later, Speaker Pelosi should testify as to what she knew and when regarding the bribery extortion, and quid pro, quo of Joe and Hunter Biden. The Biden’s should be interviewed as part of these hearings. Americans deserve to know. Afterward, Tim Morrison's testimony was of particular importance since he is a witness that was on the call between Trump and Zelensky and refuted what was claimed by the unknown so-called whistleblower. Are you worn out with the amount of political news coming out daily? As the impeachment inquiry continues in Washington, many Americans are finding it difficult to keep up with the latest and what to believe, and it is causing them to tune out. Fake information is part of the problem, but so is the growing amount of opinion in news. Sabrina Tavernise, reporter for the NY Times, joins us for the fog of political news. Next, while the fog of daily political news can get very thick, we did have a full day of impeachment hearings with more on the way. On Tuesday, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, Russia advisor to Mike Pence, Jennifer Williams, Ambassador Kurt Volker, and senior NSC official Tim Morrison all testified. Abbey Marshall, reporter at Politico, joins us to break down the testimony. Finally, the last three weeks have not been kind to reboots at the box office. Doctor Sleep, Terminator: Dark Fate, and Charlie's Angels were all flops. Part of the problem of why these reboots are not getting any traction is that many of these appeal to nostalgia for projects that came out about 20 years ago and younger moviegoers are not as familiar or attached to them as older audiences. Jeremy Fuster, reporter at The Wrap, joins us for more. Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.com
t's Day Three of the public hearings in the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump. In the morning session, we heard from Lt. Col Alexander Vindman, a National Security Council staffer who was on the 7-25 phone call, and Jennifer Williams, a State Dept official detailed to the Vice President's office who was also on that 7-25 call. The afternoon session, with testimony from former US Special representative for Ukraine and Tim Morrison, a National Security Council Staffer (who was, for a time, Vindman's superior), is scheduled to begin at 3ET, the time we broadcast this program live. We'll carry it live, and I'll be compelled to chime in when the testimony demands it...
Democrats made no mention of evidence supporting President Trump when they released "key excerpts" of the closed-door testimony of senior National Security Council official Tim Morrison in their impeachment inquiry. Morrison, who was listening in on Trump's July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, told House Intelligence Committee members in his deposition Oct. 31 that he was never concerned that Trump discussed anything illegal. The Trump administration has announced the reversal of four decades of American policy, which may doom any efforts at peace between Israel and Palestine. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced Monday that the United States will no longer consider Israeli settlements in the West Bank a violation of international law, clearing what had been an obstacle to Israel annexing Palestinian territory. How significant of a shift is this, and what will be the long-term impact?A rape investigation against WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange is being dropped by Swedish officials. The corroborating evidence is not sufficient to prove a criminal act, according to Sweden's deputy chief prosecutor. While speaking to the media, the prosecutor did say the decision could be appealed. A woman claimed that Assange engaged in sexual relations with her while she slept in 2010, and another woman claimed Assange tampered with a condom and engaged in unprotected sex with her without her consent. Assange remains in a London prison, where he is fighting an extradition request to the US. Are Assange's problems over, or is this the beginning of the real fight? The public phase of the Democrats' impeachment probe into US President Donald Trump entered its second week on Tuesday, with both parties expecting witnesses to bolster their respective positions on the president's dealings with Ukraine. Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a Ukraine specialist on the National Security Council (NSC); Jennifer Williams, a national security official who worked under Vice President Mike Pence; Tim Morrison, an outgoing NSC staffer; and Kurt Volker, a former ambassador to Ukraine, all testified Tuesday. Williams and Morrison had already offered testimony in the inquiry. Are these hearings moving the needle, or is it still too early to tell? Are the Republican arguments being dismantled? Are Democrats ignoring civil liberties and reauthorizing the Patriot Act in the continuing resolution to fund the federal government? "Buried in a stopgap government funding resolution unveiled by House Democrats Monday is a provision that would reauthorize the notoriously abusive Patriot Act for three months, a move privacy advocates warned would ensure President Donald Trump's administration holds on to 'terrifying authoritarian surveillance powers,'" Common Dreams reported Tuesday. Two questions: is this a legitimate concern, and should people be concerned that the Democrats went along with it? Passage of this resolution would temporarily avert a looming government shutdown by funding federal agencies through December 20. A House vote on the measure was expected as early as Tuesday.Yemeni Houthi rebels seized a Saudi Arabian tugboat in the southern Red Sea on Sunday, according to the state-run Saudi Press Agency. Saudi military spokesman Turki al-Malki said the boat was pulling a South Korean drilling rig when it "fell under hijacking and armed robbery by two boats." Malki did not provide details on how many people were aboard the tugboat.Guests:Miko Peled — Israeli-American activist and author of "The General's Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine." On the third day of public hearings, two witnesses sat side-by-side in one of the most intense House sessions to date. Jennifer Williams, special advisor to Vice President Mike Pence, and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, were both on the now famous July 25th phone call. NBC News Correspondent Leigh Ann Caldwell reports on Williams’ and Vindman’s responses to what they heard. Two more witnesses – Kurt Volker and Tim Morrison – testified Tuesday afternoon. Stay tuned for Wednesday’s episode to learn about their testimony. This past week, the Supreme Court delivered a blow to the gun industry by permitting a lawsuit to proceed against the maker of the AR-15-style weapon used in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Adam Schiff gave in to Republican pressure and released the transcript of Tim Morrison’s testimony on Saturday. Morrison is the outgoing National Security Council’s Senior Director for European Affairs. Schiff’s star witness, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, reports to Morrison. As Kamala Harris’ campaign for the Democratic party’s presidential nomination continues to implode, some in the media are looking for answers. ABC thinks they know the answer. Plus a Colin Kaepernick update. And now that my latest "By-Line" has been published, I'll ask the question, shouldn't we Fix Existing F-35s Before Buying More?" Blasting Vindman and his "interagency consensus." Beltway Bureaucrats On the Loose. NSC poser Alexander Vindman puts on uniform to get coached on impeachment by Adam Schiff. Admits to attempting to tamper with "the transcript." Frets that the duly elected American President is meddling with his unelected foreign policy on Ukraine. Acting U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor also in on the act, we review his scripted efforts to fabricate a "quid pro quo." However, we highlight the contrasting testimony of NSC official Tim Morrison, who was emphatically "not concerned that anything illegal was discussed" in the Trump call to Zelensky. Morrison throws cold water on Schiff, Vindman and Taylor. Although MSM ignores. Fred Fleitz says Schiff is hiding the Whistleblower "because of his political bias." Will Eric Ciaramella show up in the IG Horowitz FISA Report? Perfect Schiff Karma. Meanwhile, Joe Biden thinks he's in Ohio, but he's actually in Iowa. UFC Champion Jorge Masvidal praises Trump's resilience. "Pray for 45" with Franklin Graham. Alexis de Tocqueville on impeachment abuse. Thomas Jefferson on being harassed by "spies" in 1801. Standing up to tyranny. Plus, nicely enough, a variety of American Cheese wins the "2019 World Cheese Award" for the very first time. Talk about MAGA! Don't Start Now. Otherside. This week, further testimony in the impeachment probe brought the fifth and sixth public confirmation of a quid pro quo between Trump and Ukraine, including so far William Taylor, Gordon Sondland, Sen. Ron Johnson, Mick Mulvaney, Alexander Vindman and Tim Morrison. By week's end, Senate Republicans discussed shifting their defense of Trump to acknowledging his quid pro quo, but saying it was not illegal — differing from House Republicans who continued to deny it, and Trump who maintained he had a “perfect” call and tested out new explanations for what occurred. Allegations of a possible White House cover up of Trump's July 25 call also surfaced in this week's testimony. The House of Representatives took its first full, public vote on impeachment, passing a resolution to proceed with public hearings, and setting out ground rules to proceed. In the meantime, aspects of the Mueller probe came back into the spotlight as ongoing court cases played out, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she would not rule out including new information in the impeachment inquiry. Trump tried to pivot and focus attention on a successful raid that killed the head of ISIS, seeking to turn it into a Hollywood story to distract attention and legitimize his haphazard foreign policy. This week hundreds of U.S. troops abandoned Kurdish allies in Syria, while hundreds of others moved back to Syria to protect oilfields not owned by the U.S. Trump attended his first Major League Baseball game for the World Series, and was treated to boos when he was announced, and chants of “Lock him up!” an inning later. Personal stories about Farewell to Stromness, by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies. Written in 1980 as a protest against uranium mining in Orkney, the music has touched and changed people's lives. The Orkney landscape which inspired Max's music is described by his partner Tim Morrison. We hear from Rosalind Newton, for whom the music provided peace after the death of her grandmother. Conductor Christopher Warren-Green recalls his performance of the music at the wedding of the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. In Stromness we discover a community coming together to face the threat of uranium mining. Guitarist Sean Shibe and writer Ivan Hewett consider why this simple piece is so subtle and affective. And we hear from Jeana Leslie how the music, with its quiet melancholy inspired by folk music, has became traditional , and was a favourite for Peter Maxwell Davies to perform to visitors at his remote island home. Today’s guest is someone I had on the show a few months back, Tim Morrison. Due to the Melbourne community encouraging him to bring his energy and the wonderful gift in holding space for a 3 hour immersion into the power of journeying with ceremonial cacao, breath and sacred sounds, called Sacred Cacao - Soul Flight.Tim covers a lot in this episode - why his cacao ceremony is such a gift for anyone who wants to experience the inward journey using the breath to open up the gateways of receiving the medicine of cacao and sound to carry you through to experience cacao in her fullness. Such a heart felt experience as cacao is the medicine for the heart- reminding you to walk that path of that heart so you can open yourself up to love. Event Details:SACRED CACAO - SOUL FLIGHT3 hour immersion into the power of journeying with Ceremonial Cacao, our Breath and Sacred sounds.A gentle heart expanding ceremony guided by the power of sound. Sacred sounds guide you to release, realign and anchor who you are.Cacao wishes to bring you back into harmony. To nourish and nurture the fullness of who you are.Cacao was originally used by the ancient Mayan shamans to journey between the worlds, lifting the veil over consciousness. Our ceremonial cacao is infused with spirit, inviting you on a journey inwards to open your heart and remember who you truly are.Join the experience to discover that there is far more to consciousness then what resides in the physical body. Are you ready to reconnect to feel the depth of who you are?To truly feel your soul pulsating inside of you?Together we sit in ceremony, we connect and we journey into our heart space. Surrendering gently into the process and enabling the sacred sounds to wash through us transmuting all that no longer serves.Sound has the potential to dissolve and transmute any negative or heavy energies as the frequences if the Sacred sounds will bring us up into a higher vibrational state and in doing so all that does not match this, will naturally fall away. The great gift of combining Ceremonial cacao and Sacred sounds is that they are both high vibrational energy tools. They both enable you to release, realign and rejuvenate with ease and grace. They both gently carry away what no longer serves from a deep internal journey. As we drop deeper into ourselves the emotions are simply carried through the sounds and we relax deeper and deeper, with no need for the body to activate a cathartic release.Ceremonial cacao and sounds are a deeply meditative, nurturing and nourishing journey.Cacao journeys us to the door of our heart, allowing us to step through, discovering all of its mysteries, ready to embrace the space of openness of pure love. We journey together to a spiritual dimension. This special event will incorporate ceremonial cacao, vibrational medicine, meditation, breath and a shamanic soundscape taking you on a journey back to yourself.Suitable for all levels and backgrounds. The raw masculine is a wild force that we often hide from the world. There is shame around expressing this energy, and a sense that we might unleash an unmanageable danger. This suppression is damaging ourselves, and the world around us. Our guest, Tim Morrison pours his love and experience about this topic into today's episode. We also discuss containing vs. controlling, holding sacred space, and how we can best leave a positive impact on the planet.
Tim Morrison | Unbelief, You Gotta Go! | 27th January 2019 by Life Church
Tim was dedicated to his career as a Thai boxer, competing at high level which saw him win light weight titles, fighting within Australia, Russia and Thailand. However, after a severe career ending neck injury, Tim went into his own deep transformational space. Coming from a life of passion and purpose, to a dark depression which saw him embark on a powerful journey of doing plant medicine and shamanic practices. He received the messages from spirit to guide him to this path of being of service to others, through his workshops, retreats and cacao ceremonies.Tim has a passion for guiding men to dive deep into reconnecting with their inner warrior - their innate masculine essence, through sacred sexuality and helping them to embody balance through their primal warrior energy in a healthy way, connecting back to earth - back to their roots so they can lead from their heart. Men are able to connect and release suppressed fear, aggression or emotions they have suppressed and help them unleash their emotions, holding space in a safe container so they can do this in a controlled and healthy way. Tim shares how powerful the Cacao plant is, an opportunity for people to connect to spirit. He walks through what you can expect at one of his cacao ceremony’s and the beautiful messages these ceremonies can bring for someone, if you come into an intention of receiving. You are going to love hearing of Tim’s journey to walking the path of his inner warrior and be totally inspired by his dedication to helping others step into this path too.You can connect with Tim at:www.tim-morrison.comwww.instagram.com/timmorrison__/

Tim also Opens Up about how an injury would cause him to lose the identity he had as a fighter and caused him to not only question himself but his life. Thankfully, throughout this reflection process, he made his way to South America with his father, to embark on a plant medicine journey that would change his life and kick start his path towards the man he is today. The most secure jobs in the whisky business may be the coppersmiths at Forsyth's of Rothes in Scotland, since almost all of the major distillery construction projects underway worldwide are buying their stills from Forsyth's. We got word of two more new distilleries this week...the Morrison family's Glasgow Whisky Distillery to be built on the Queen's Dock along the River Clyde and Bernard Walsh's new distillery in County Carlow, Ireland. Tim Morrison and Bernard Walsh join us to discuss their plans on WhiskyCast In-Depth. In the news, the search is on for the "Pappy Pilferer", two whisky auctions this week raised tens of thousands of dollars for charities, and if you're feeling a cold coming on, this week's tasting notes may have just the answer.
We'll start off the New Year with a rare interview with Tim Morrison, managing director of A. Dewar Rattray and the son of Morrison Bowmore founder Stanley Morrison. Tim's career in the whisky business spans the acquisition of Bowmore by his family to today's independent bottlings he selects for A. Dewar Rattray. In the news, an update on Ralph Erenzo's condition and Whisky Magazine's U.S. Icons of Whisky winners.
