Kurz nach Erscheinen landete "Dobermann" auch schon auf dem Index und ist erst seit 2011 wieder erhältlich. Kann der Film mit mehr punkten, als nur möglichst viel Blut auf der Leinwand zu hinterlassen?

Es gibt immer mehr Hunde in der Schweiz. Auch die Beissvorfälle nehmen zu. Nun wird der Ruf nach Rasseverboten und Pflichtkursen für Hundehaltende wieder lauter. Die Hundedichte in der Schweiz nimmt kontinuierlich zu. 2016 gab es rund 490'000 Hunde, heute sind es rund 560'000. Mit der Zunahme der Hunde steigt auch die Zahl der Hundebisse. Erst im Oktober griff ein Rottweiler in der Zürcher Gemeinde Adlikon zwei spielende Kinder an. Beide wurden verletzt, eines schwer. Von verschiedener Seite wird der Ruf nach Massnahmen lauter. Im Kanton Zürich fordern zwei EDU-Kantonsräte, dass Rassen wie Rottweiler oder Dobermann als gefährliche Hunde eingestuft und somit verboten werden. Viele Expertinnen und Experten fordern zudem die Wiedereinführung einer Kurspflicht für Hundehaltende. Diese galt ab 2010 schweizweit, wurde jedoch Ende 2016 vom Parlament wieder abgeschafft. Seither sind die Kantone in der Verantwortung, entsprechend stark variieren die Regelungen zur Hundehaltung. In 13 Kantonen existieren sogenannte Rasselisten, die entweder ein vollständiges Verbot bestimmter Rassen oder eine Bewilligungspflicht vorsehen. In gewissen Kantonen gibt es eine Kurspflicht für Hundehalter, in anderen nicht. Braucht es ein nationales Hundegesetz, das einheitliche Regelungen für die gesamte Schweiz schafft? Sollte eine Kurspflicht für alle Hundehaltende wieder eingeführt werden? Und wie wichtig ist es, den Import von Hunden aus dem Ausland besser zu kontrollieren? Heute ist es endlich so weit: Ihr bekommt den zweiten Teil zum Thema "Territoriales Verhalten" auf die Ohren. Also, wer Part 1 noch nicht kennt, schaut erstmal da vorbei. Heute gehen wir nämlich ins Detail und sprechen über die territorialen Eigenheiten von Herdenschutzhunden - nicht zu verwechseln mit den Hütehunden. Herdenschutzhunde sind dafür da, Schaf- oder Ziegenherden vor jeglicher Gefahr zu schützen und arbeiten dabei so gut wie gar nicht mit dem Menschen zusammen. Diese ständige Wachsamkeit und Suche nach möglichen Gefahren ist bei Herdenschutzhunden genetisch bedingt und genau deshalb können die "Arbeitstiere" diese Eigenschaften nicht so einfach ablegen. Darum sieht das Training mit einem Herdenschutzhund auch etwas anders aus. Hört rein in die Folge, wenn ihr wissen wollt, wie ihr eurem Herdenschutzhund territoriales Verhalten abgewöhnt oder zumindest ein agreement findet, mit dem sowohl ihr, als auch eure Fellnase gut klarkommt.

In dieser Folge spricht Hundetrainerin Liza mit Mareike über die Unterschiede zwischen großen und kleinen Hunden. Kleine Hunderassen sind dabei zum Beispiel Chihuahuas, Malteser, Westies oder Dackel. Diesen Hunden wird häufig nachgesagt, dass sie viel bellen oder kläffen und weniger Hundetraining brauchen als größere Hunde. Das muss aber keineswegs stimmen. Zu der Kategorie mittelgroßer Hunde gehören die meisten Hunderassen. Ein Beispiel dafür sind Beagle und Cocker Spaniel. Große Hunde sind beispielsweise Schäferhunde, Rottweiler, deutsche Doggen oder Dobermänner. Da große Hunde automatisch mehr Gewicht mitbringen, ist bei diesen Hunderassen die gute Leinenführung besonders wichtig. Und Stichwort Leine - verschiedengroße Hunde unterscheiden sich nicht nur im Verhalten, sondern auch beim Kostenfaktor. Denn Hundezubehör wie Leine und Körbchen sind für kleine Hunde meist günstiger als für große Hunde. Aber egal, ob ihr einen kleinen, einen mittelgroßen oder einen großen Hund habt - euer Vierbeiner sollte möglichst viele andere Hunderassen und -größen kennenlernen, um mit allen Arten von Hunden gut kommunizieren zu können. Hallihallo liebe ZuhörerInnen, keine Sorge! Natürlich haben Tim und Benjamin wie immer sehr sehr viel Lust, euch etwas Gutes auf eure Ohren zu geben! ABER: Einer von den beiden hatte wirklich gar keine Lust, sich für die Aufnahme irgendwo hin zu begeben. Und der andere war halt nicht dran mit dem Fahren. Und so kommt es, wie es kommen musste: Nicht Ernie und Bert wird wieder einmal digital! 2.0! Respektive 4.0! Sucht es euch aus! Je nachdem, ob ihr aus der Industrie kommt oder doch aus der behäbigen gesellschaftlichen Mitte. Dafür hatte Tim keine Lust nochmal ein Intro in diese Aufnahme zu zimmern, nachdem er die Audiodatei schon exportiert und hochgeladen hat. So hat jeder seine Laster. Was sich viele ZuhörerInnen bisher so gar nicht gefragt haben, ist ja, welches Brillengestell Tim und Benjamin tragen. Und das zu Recht! Ist nämlich auch völlig egal und wird in dieser Folge auch nicht beantwortet. Was hingegen beantwortet wird ist die Frage,... ha! Das wird hier natürlich nicht verraten! Hört einfach selber rein in die Wonnigkeit für Herz und Seele! Sag mal Tim, wenn du eine Blume wärst, welche Art der Selbstverteidigung würde dich dann charakterisieren? Nichts aggressives auf jeden Fall. Ich glaube eher, dass uch so eine Harry Potter Alraune wäre, die dann unfassbar ekelhaft schreit, wenn sie angegriffen wird und der Gegner einfach keinen Bock auf den Lärm hätte. Mache ich auch im Nachtleben so, wenn mir jemand was Böses will. Dann laber ich denjenigen einfach mit absurden Fakten und unnützem Wissen voll und dann suchen die sich auch meist direkt ein anderes Opfer. Benjamin, du musst dich entscheiden gegen wen du mit baren Fäusten in den Kampf gehst: Fünf Elefanten, die so groß sind wir ein ausgewachsener Dobermann oder ein Dobermann, der so groß ist wir ein Elefant? Bei dieser Frage wird mir wieder einmal bewusst, wie unfassbar schwach der menschliche Körper doch ist. Denn natürlich hätte ich im reinen Kräftemessen keinerlei Chance gegen beide Optionen. Also muss es dann wohl mit Köpfchen zugehen. Zunächst wollte ich antworten, dass ich dann lieber den elefantengroßen Dobermann wählen würde. Den wollte ich nämlich mit einem "Stöckchen holen"-Trick ablenken und dann knallhart besiegen. Also werde ich mich den Elefanten stellen müssen. Reine Kraft wird hier natürlich auch nicht weiterhelfen. Also Köpfchen angeschmissen und siehe da, die Lösung ist ganz einfach: Ich würde super schnell zwischen den Elefanten herlaufen, zick zack! Diese würden versuchen, mich mit ihren Rüsseln zu erwischen, aber ich wäre viel zu agil, sodass die Elefanten somit komplett den Überblick verlieren würden. Und jetzt kommt der Trick: In diesem Chaos, bei dem mindestens sechs Rüssel im Gemenge hin- und her schwingen würden, würde ich die Rüssel der Elefanten miteinander verknoten. Die dann komplett hilflosen Elefanten nacheinander zu Boden zu ringen, ist anschließend ein reines Kinderspiel. Viel Spaß! #podcast #nichternieundbert #neub

Wir sind ja große Fans des viel zu wenig gewertschätzten Michael Cimino (1939-2016), dessen übersichtliches, aber delikates Oeuvre für einige Perlen des sog. New Hollywood Cinema gut ist. Abseits seiner beiden großen Meisterwerke Die durch die Hölle gehen (The Deer Hunter, 1978) und Heaven's Gate (1980) stießen wir auf sein zu gleichen Teilen actionreiches, witziges und melodramatisches Regiedebüt Die Letzten beißen die Hunde (Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, 1974), das mindestens ebenso viel Eastwood-Flair enthält wie auch Verweise auf Ciminos späteres Werke. Und wem das alles zu abstrakt und hochtrabend ist, die oder der hat hoffentlich Spaß an Jeff Bridges im knappen Fummel, der motzenden Daisy Duke und George Kennedy als bulligem Bad Boy mit Herz. Theoretisch kann jeder Hund einen Bandscheibenvorfall erleiden. Besonders gefährdet sind jedoch kleine Hunderassen, mit genetischen Veranlagungen, wie zum Beispiel die französische Bulldogge. Kleine Rassen, wie der Dackel oder die Bulldogge, sind besonders im Bereich der Brust- und Lendenwirbelsäule gefährdet. Früher wurde der Bandscheibenvorfall bei Hunden darum gern auch als Dackellähmung bezeichnet. Grosse Rassen wie Doggen und Dobermann haben häufiger Probleme an der Halswirbelsäule. Bandscheibenvorfälle beim Deutschen Schäferhund sind meistens am Übergang der Lendenwirbelsäule zum Kreuzbein. Gute Erfolge nach Operation Bei einem Bandscheibenvorfall reagiert der Hund sehr empfindlich auf Berührungen. Es können auch Lähmungserscheinungen der Gliedmassen auftreten. Ein akuter Bandscheibenvorfall ist ein Notfall. Transportieren Sie den Hund in der Seitenlage auf einer festen Unterlage. Nach den meisten Operationen, kann der Hund sich wieder uneingeschränkt bewegen.

Price conversations are a bad thing.  Invariably, you are dragged into the mud and blood of comparisons with someone ridiculously cheaper.  We get these requests – “send me your price sheet”. My ears prick up like a Dobermann when I hear those words, because I am mentally getting ready for trouble.  I know a couple of things are happening here, none of which are good for me to make this sale happen.   The buyer is possibly shopping the deal to get three quotes to keep the compliance department happy, so that they can award the deal to their already selected and much preferred, favourite provider.  My job is to be used by the buyer, to pony up the necessary paperwork, so my rival can get all of the money.  Another reason may be so that they can play all of the providers off against each other and fill in the matrix.  Along the top they place the names of the suppliers and down the left hand column, they put in the names of the solutions they need.  They populate the corresponding cells with the numbers of the respective pricings.  The cheapest alternatives are quickly identified, you are too high and then are tossed on the scrap heap.   Sometimes, the buyer will say “just send me the pricing” and you will try to resist.  You want to meet with them online or in person, to fully understand what they need.  You are doing what you should be doing, but they are not playing ball.  They say, “send it”.  My advice – send it and then completely forget about it.  The chances of this going anywhere are almost zero, not fully zero, but pretty much indistinguishable from zero.    Instead, spend your time finding people who want to share their issues with you, so that you can understand if you have a solution for them or not.  They will be price focused and that is natural, because they have a spreadsheet somewhere for the P&L. This document has a set of numbers therein, which specifies how much they have allotted for the solution.  Now here is the wonderful thing about the P&L – the whole thing is a fiction. Those numbers in those cells can be moved around with the clicking of a mouse and the pressing of a keyboard button.   Rather than offer a price, offer a packaged solution.  Let me give an example.  You notice your competitors are getting revenues from an accommodation business.  The target client is advertising the business, but you have no action with them.  You have tried contacting someone down the food chain. All they said  was “send me the pricing” and they didn't want to meet with you.  You have found the boss's name but no email address.  Being creative, you guess that the person at the bottom of the decision-making hierarchy has an email address which may be standard.  What if you insert the boss's name?  It might work and get you access to the real decision-maker, the maestro of the P&L spreadsheet, who has the authority and means to move those numbers around.   Great, but what are you going to offer them?  You have a very desirable audience for their product, so that is a key prerequisite covered off.  Rather than offering exposure with a hope of some take up and some minor sales, you do better than that.  Your package is to create a contest, where the winners are able to stay in the accommodation as the prize.  To enter the contest, the target audience have to give up their contact details.  With their receipt, now there are concrete opportunities for the client to directly market to these highly valuable potential customers, who have raised their hand.   To make the offer attractive, you give away five to ten accommodation prizes, so that target individuals do the mental math and work out they have a pretty good shot of winning and are activated to hand over their contact information.  Being the accommodation business, there are always cases of product which is vacant, so there is only the cost of administration and cleaning to worry about, so a relatively low cost prize can be secured.   The point is the package is the offer, rather than a single solution.  We come to the big boss with a well thought out strategy for getting more business.  The means to get that new business is through the tools you have on offer in the package.  The decision to move some numbers around that P&L spreadsheet just got a whole lot easier for the big boss.   “Send me the prices” is a losing proposition. We have to do better than that by responding by navigating our way further up the food chain, to the more savvy decision-makers who can recognise a great package when they see one.  Don't allow yourself to get stuck with people who can only say “no” and who can't re-arrange the P&L expenditures.  If this is where you are now, either get to the boss or find another potential client company, where you can get in front of the boss.

Fast 17 Jahre lang war Hündin Peanut an ihrer Seite, der Verlust ein extrem schmerzlicher Moment im Leben der Designerin. Doch seit Rüde Taco an ihrer Seite ist, hat sie ihren Frieden wieder. Der Vierbeiner, der zwar aussieht wie ein Dobermann, aber viel kleiner ist, begleitet sie fast überall hin. Marina verrät unter anderem, wie sie Kind, Hund, Freund und Modelabel unter einen Hut bekommt, was an ihr typisch Österreichisch ist, warum sie ihrem Freund gewisse deutsche Worte verbietet und welchen Promi sie gerne einkleiden würde.
