Between Midsummer Scream and earnings week, this issue is dense. Disney, Six Flags, and United Parks dropped earnings, and the news is positive overall for our industry. Universal has a strong reputation, but Six Flags now operates the most haunted mazes in the world: 107, added to parks that already have infrastructure and passholders. HHN Hollywood is leaning into independent films where they have more leeway, with an original Slash score, the event's first-ever singing villain, and a twisted children's storybook Terror Tram scored by Ice Nine Kills. In this issue:- Q2 Theme Park Earnings and What They Tell Us About the Consumer- Six Flags Plans 107 Haunted Houses for Halloween 2026- Slash Scored HHN Hollywood's Killceañera House- Art the Clown Takes Over the Terror Tram With "Every Day Is Artmas"- HHN Hollywood Adds Hidden Character From Curry Barker's "Obsession"- The LA Haunted Hayride Adds an '80s Rock Maze and Brings Back Elvira- Queen Mary's Dark Harbor Will Murder One of Its 13 Icons Live- Midsummer Scream Moves to Anaheim for 2027- Spirit Halloween's Owner Is Buying Hot Topic- A Real Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Opens at American Dream in 2027- Diablo Mazes Land at Cedar Point and Kings Dominion- Six Flags Magic Mountain's Fright Fest Adds Final Destinationhttps://mailchi.mp/hauntedattractionnetwork.com/quality-vs-quantity-universal-and-six-flags-split-halloween

Sure, those first few days hum with possibility, routines feel fresh, and your classroom culture system is a well-oiled machine—at least on the outside. But blink, and it's week three. Suddenly every teaching prep is pulling you in five directions, lesson plans are cobbled together at midnight, and classroom culture quietly slips to the bottom of your overflowing list. If you're searching for classroom culture teacher planning that lasts all year, you're not alone. The biggest mistake? Losing sight of the systems that made your classroom sing in September. Host Khristen Massic pulls back the curtain on why the first week feels so doable—even for multi-prep teachers. The secret isn't fancy new activities but reusing the same structures that build trust and clarity with every class, every period. When Unit 1 lands and the grind sets in, too many teachers drop the repeatable frameworks that worked so well, scrambling instead for fresh ideas just to keep up.But what actually builds classroom culture? It's not the parade of icebreakers or one-and-done activities. It's putting simple routines on repeat: Think-Write-Pair-Share, community check-ins, “The Way I Learn” surveys. Khristen Massic lays it bare—students don't crave endless novelty. They crave predictability, routine, and the safety of knowing what's next. A classroom where the structure is automatic lets students focus their energy on learning rather than logistics.Take Think-Write-Pair-Share, for example. In week one, it breaks the ice; by week four, it's a go-to for concept explanations; come week twelve, students move through it with almost zero direction. The routine becomes invisible, freeing up student brainpower to actually grapple with your content. As Khristen says, “the thinking changes, the routine doesn't”—and that's the whole point. Here's the pivot: the best classroom routines aren't first-week tricks; they're yearlong lifelines. Reflection activities, learning surveys, even that community-building prompt—they don't get shoved in a drawer after September. They evolve and repeat, morphing into mid-year check-ins or unit-close reflections. The more you build on what's already working, the less you scramble, and the more your students feel that elusive comfort and belonging. This approach is gold for secondary teachers, especially those teaching multiple preps. Planning lighter means working smarter, not harder. Instead of constantly dreaming up the next cool idea, Khristen challenges teachers to ask: how can I repurpose something students already know? Can this discussion structure anchor the next tough unit? Can this community activity pop up again as a November reset? Suddenly, lesson planning isn't a midnight monster; it's a sustainable, even enjoyable, rhythm. It's for every teacher who dreads seeing classroom culture fizzle by October. It's for the veteran who wants real work life balance, and the newbie fighting burnout before Halloween. If you want your secondary classroom to feel safe, vibrant, and consistent—without drowning under reinvention—this episode will flip your script.Throughout this series, Khristen has been on a mission: show teachers how to ditch one-off activities in favor of resilient frameworks. It's not about crafting perfect first days. It's about building systems that stick, routines that support you and your students, and the confidence to keep hitting “repeat” on what works—even in week twenty. So, what will you carry forward? Which structure could save your sanity and strengthen your classroom culture all year? That answer might be the most important planning decision you make. You want a classroom that feels like a second home for your students and for you—keep your best routines on heavy rotation. Ditch the innovation hamster wheel, and make tomorrow a little lighter.Own your classroom, year-round. Rebels build systems that last.

In this episode, Meghan asks Lyle what Halloween lovers should consider when buying a home, and Lyle answers from his experience as a real estate agent. Does the neighborhood get trick-or-treaters? Are there nearby Halloween events? Could an HOA restrict your decorations? What about local ordinances, giant displays, storage space, and everything else that comes with being Halloween obsessed? We also head into some spookier territory and talk about stigmatized properties, deaths and murders in homes, alleged paranormal activity, old burial grounds, and what sellers and real estate agents may or may not have to disclose. Plus, Lyle shares the story of the infamous “NOT HAUNTED” house listed by his own real estate office years before he worked there. If you're looking for a home where you can truly live your best Halloween life, these are the questions you might want to ask before you sign on the dotted line. Check out Cam's latest novel / audio drama here! What does it mean to call a horror movie a "guilty pleasure"? Why do we caveat our feelings about incredibly entertaining, funny, well-made movies by calling them "trashy "or emphasizing that they are "just a remake"? In this episode, we're not just analyzing but celebrating the glorious 2009 remake of Friday the 13th. Topics include: our glowing second impressions after a rewatch, the power of good lighting, a debate about sexuality / sex negativity / the male gaze, and what happens when you extend a cold open to become something more like a short film. What does every Christian need to understand about the occult? The word "occult" means "hidden" or "secret." Occult practices seek secret knowledge and power from sources other than God.This week we dig into Chapter Six of What Every Believer Should Know About Spiritual Warfare by Marcus Warner. We look at what the occult is, three key reasons people seek it (power, knowledge, attachment), the danger of blending beliefs that don't belong together, how to deal with participation in the occult (R.E.D.), a case study from Judges 17-18, and more. Also, stay tuned! We're wrapping up this series next week with a look at the Role of Experience in spiritual warfare. The goal of this series is to equip you with a spiritual warfare first aid kit, so you can function with more freedom on your deeper walk with God. BEST OF: It goes without saying that War is Peace, especially when the President of Peace continually threatens war or supports the same indirectly: from Gaza to Venezuela and now Nigeria. The President posted this threat to Nigeria over the Halloween weekend: “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,' to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities. I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians!” Notice that he is not talking about protecting American citizens, but a random diverse group of Christians. In response, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth responded: “Yes sir… The killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria — and anywhere — must end immediately. The Department of War is preparing for action. Either the Nigerian Government protects Christians, or we will kill the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”https://edition.cnn.com/2025/11/01/politics/trump-pentagon-nigeria-actionAside from this grandiose posturing on social media the entire production is grotesquely hypocritical for several reasons. Just a few weeks ago, a gunman in north-west Nigeria stormed a Mosque and shot 17 worshipers. Muazu, Katsina state's commissioner for internal security, said the attack occurred during morning prayers and that the gunmen shot "sporadically". Muazu said the local government "reaffirms its unwavering support for community-based security initiatives.”https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/crkz8345jl0o.ampA 2017 story from Amnesty International recounted how “The Nigerian authorities must ensure justice, truth and reparation over the military's unlawful killing of more than 350 Shi'a Muslims in the northern city of Zaria in December 2015… Between 12 and 14 December 2015, Nigerian security forces killed hundreds of civilians, some of them supporters of the IMN – including men, women and children – and arrested more than 200 following a Shi'a Muslim protest.”https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/press-release/2017/12/nigeria-families-of-hundreds-of-shia-muslims-killed-in-zaria-still-await-justice/In other words, Muslims are being killed too. Let's take an even deeper look at Nigeria.According to a 2024 report from “The Observatory for Religious Freedom in Africa,” there have been 11,000 incidents of extreme violence from October 2019 through September of 2023. The violence left 55,910 people dead in 9,970 deadly attacks — as well as 21,621 people abducted in 2,705 attacks. The total number includes civilian deaths, terror group deaths, and Nigerian Armed Forces deaths. Of the total deaths, 30,880 were civilians. Of the civilians, at least 16,769 Christians were killed, 6,235 Muslims were killed and 154 adherents of traditional African religions were killed. The religions of 7,722 victims are unknown. The report says further: “The ratio of Christians to Muslims killed rises significantly when the religious composition of the states is taken into consideration. Looking at the overall numbers, the ratio of Christians to Muslims killed was 2.7:1; the ratio of Christians to Muslims abducted was 1.4:1. However, when taking into account the relative sizes of the Christian and Muslim populations within the different states, the ratio of Christians to Muslims killed increases to 6.5:1, and the ratio of Christians to Muslims abducted to 5.1:1.”“Fulani Ethnic Militia are targeting Christian populations, while Muslims also suffer severely at their hands,” the Rev. Gideon Para-Mallam, another analyst for The Observatory of Religious Freedom in Africa, said in a statement.https://ewtn.co.uk/article-56000-killed-in-nigerias-ethnic-and-religious-violence-christians-disproportionately-affected/https://orfa.africa/wp/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/26082024-ORFA-4-YEARS-REPORT.pdfSure, Christians are being targeted, but so are Muslims. But in both cases, religion is not the driving factor behind the attacks and killings in Nigeria. According to the French Institute for Research in Africa, Nigeria:“The notion that religious violence in Nigeria is always characterized by conflicts between religions (Muslims versus Christians) is too simplistic. This study shows that between June 2006 and May 2014 the frequency of violent death incidents involving Islamic groups against Islamic groups is 60, a figure higher than 57, which is the frequency of violent death incidents involving Islamic groups against Christian groups or churches within the same period. A second major point in this paper is that violence involving religious groups is not always caused by religious issues. This explains why the frequency of violent death incidents involving Islamic groups against Christian groups or churches due to non-religious issues is as high as 42 between June 2006 and May 2014. Thirdly, it remains inconclusive whether or not more Muslims than Christians (or vice versa) are killed because of violence in general in Nigeria. Finally, the Western media frames violence in Nigeria as being mainly inter-religious, while lethal incidents involving Islamic groups against Islamic groups are largely under-reported.”https://books.openedition.org/ifra/1935?lang=enSaying that only Christians are being targeted is ignorant and or disingenuous and dangerous. It's like Democrats saying that a black man being arrested for robbing a store is only being arrested because of the color of his skin. Maybe he's been arrested because he committed a crime. Saying that Christians are being targeted because of their religion neglects to mention the context that thousands of others are also being killed, and that the violence is primarily a byproduct of a broken system and war. A US State Department report from 2023, “Report on International Religious Freedom: Nigeria” noted “the killings were not related to religion but were the activities of ‘uninformed people'.” The same report also found and stated explicitly:“According to government security services, NGOs, media, academic, and other observers, the level of violence driven by rising criminality again continued to worsen during the year. Because issues of religion, ethnicity, land and resource competition, and criminality are often closely linked, it was difficult to categorize many incidents as being solely, or even primarily, based on religious identity.”https://www.state.gov/reports/2023-report-on-international-religious-freedom/nigeria/Now let's take a deeper look at Israel's actions.Just as many Christians are killed in Nigeria over farmland, Israeli settler have been slaughtering Palestinian farmers, with no mention of their religion made in the news, for over half a century. A recent AP article confirmed with video evidence that Israeli terrorists beat farmers during the recent olive harvest in the West Bank. https://apnews.com/article/israel-settlers-west-bank-attack-annexation-1e9cbd6af6ea502fbfca5d9ffe949b0bFather Bashar Fawadleh, parish priest of the Church of Christ the Redeemer in Taybeh, told ACI MENA: “The town, which the Gospel of John (11:54) refers to as ‘Ephraim' — the place Jesus withdrew to before his passion — is no longer safe for its people today… We do not live in peace but in daily fear and siege.” https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/amp/news/265035/priest-warns-christian-town-of-taybe-in-holy-land-no-longer-safe-amid-settler-attacksIn July 2025 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country "deeply regrets that a stray ammunition" hit Gaza's only Catholic Church. A few weeks before Israeli forces assaulted Christians in Jerusalem on holy Saturday at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy8ge7vllw9o.amphttps://www.newarab.com/news/israeli-forces-assault-christians-jerusalem-holy-saturdayIn 2024, Israel bombed a Catholic Church in Lebanon, Saint George's, destroying the offices of the parish and the residence of the local priest. They even slaughtered the rescue team.https://zenit.org/2024/10/11/israel-bombs-catholic-church-in-lebanon-and-attacks-un-blue-helmets/#google_vignetteBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-secret-teachings--5328407/support.Thank you for supporting independent, unbiased inquiry into the mysteries of our world.
Mark survived his first episode, so naturally he came back for another. This time, Brad kicked things off with a travel story that somehow involved a near-missed flight, a greasy Bojangles biscuit that stained his shorts, and enough airport anxiety to make MTD's "arrive four hours early" philosophy sound completely reasonable. Then they reviewed Halloween H20.Except... they refused to call it Halloween H20.Within minutes the movie had been permanently renamed Halloween Water, because apparently someone in Hollywood thought using the chemical formula for water was cooler than calling it Halloween 20 Years Later. Brad wasn't buying it.Instead of discussing the plot, the guys immediately started pitching better movies. What if Michael Myers went camping? What if Michael Myers took a road trip across America? What if Michael Myers stopped at Buc-ee's to carve brisket? What if he worked the carving station wearing a hairnet while still carrying the same knife he'd been using for twenty years? All of those somehow sounded more entertaining than the actual movie. Then came the question nobody at the studio apparently asked:How does Michael Myers get from Illinois to California? This is before GPS.Did he have an atlas?Did he stop at a gas station and ask for directions?Did he kill people just to pay for fuel?Did he spend the night at a Motel 6?These are the mysteries Movie Torture asks because Hollywood refuses to.The movie itself didn't escape the criticism either.Brad couldn't figure out why Michael Myers suddenly decides not to kill people he normally would.Mark questioned how Laurie Strode somehow became the head of a private school after faking her identity.Neither of them understood why the school supposedly had hundreds of students but only about six people ever appear on screen.By the halfway point they'd also discussed Kevin Williamson, Dawson's Creek, Josh Hartnett's permanently messy hair, LL Cool J's career, Rocky, The Muppet Show, and whether Michael Myers secretly wakes up every October 31st like a bear coming out of hibernation thinking, "Guess it's time to go find Laurie again."Somewhere in there they did eventually talk about Halloween Water. Not much. But enough to conclude that twenty years of waiting somehow produced a movie where the funniest part wasn't Michael Myers......it was imagining him asking a stranger for directions to California.
Shai Fruchter joins Casual Chaos to shut down the rumors that he's in love with Ariana, break down what really happened at his Halloween party with Hudson and Liam, and explain the good intentions behind it all. He also opens up about betting on himself with his new clothing line after getting let go from his corporate job, growing up between Hong Kong, Israel, and New Jersey as the cast's only self-made member, and the tension with Brooks over the photo shoot snub. Plus, he reflects on the Riley comment that these people are his acquaintances, not his friends, that really made him think, and where he stands with the group now. WEPA!!! Some stories never die… they just wait in the shadows for the perfect creator to resurrect them. And this Halloween season, creator Norm Konyu is opening the crypt and inviting readers into the beautifully twisted world of Edgar Allan Poe with the upcoming Edgar Allan Poe: A Tale of Mystery and Intervention from Titan Comics, arriving October 6, 2026. This isn't your dusty classroom version of Poe. Norm Konyu delivers a darkly playful graphic novel experience where humor, dread, melancholy, and beauty dance together like ghosts at a masquerade ball. The project serves as both a celebration of Poe's legendary literary legacy and a modern exploration of why strange stories continue haunting generation after generation. Even better, the graphic novel reportedly includes a reflective postscript where Konyu breaks down literary references and his personal connection to Poe's work. Norm Konyu has once again proven he's one of the most unique creative voices in comics today, blending emotional storytelling with visually atmospheric worlds that stay with readers long after the final page. Comic Crusaders readers looking for something spooky, smart, emotional, and visually unforgettable should absolutely keep this one on their radar. October can't come fast enough.
We are all members of The October Club You can feel it coming. The days haven’t completely surrendered to fall yet. Halloween is still somewhere on the horizon. But something has changed. Spooky season has arrived. And this week on The Leal Legacy Podcast, I’m talking about the proper way to welcome it. Because and this is important you can’t just go from summer directly into full-blown Pumpkin Spice insanity overnight. There needs to be a transition. Let Fall Come to You Part of what makes this time of year so special is the anticipation. The first decorations start appearing. Horror movies work their way back into the rotation. The nights begin feeling a little different. Halloween starts creeping into stores. Then, eventually, the Pumpkin Spice can flow. But we’ve got to earn it. There’s something to be said for allowing a season to slowly take over instead of immediately sprinting toward the finish line. And while I’m talking about new seasons, there’s a pretty literal new chapter beginning for Leal Legacy as well. We Have a New Studio This is a big one. I’ve officially landed a new studio space. After years of building, recording, designing, filming, writing, experimenting and figuring out what Leal Legacy even is, having a dedicated space for the next stage of that journey feels significant. It’s another home for the weird little universe we’re continuing to build. And there will be plenty more on that as it comes together. But spooky season also has a way of pulling old stories out of the graveyard. Which brings us to New Orleans. Halloween, New Orleans and Two Bat Heads One Halloween, I found myself in New Orleans. And somewhere in the middle of everything that makes Halloween in New Orleans exactly what you’d imagine Halloween in New Orleans to be… I got tattooed. Bats, on my head. Because apparently sometimes the appropriate souvenir from a Halloween trip isn’t a T-shirt or refrigerator magnet. It’s permanent. In the episode, I tell the story behind those tattoos and revisit a Halloween memory that’s managed to become a permanent piece of my own personal mythology. And maybe that’s what The October Club really is. It’s not a real club. There are no dues. There probably aren’t meetings. It’s just that feeling shared by those of us who understand that Halloween isn’t merely one night on October 31st. It’s the buildup. The movies. The decorations. The weather. The traditions. The memories. It’s letting the season slowly creep into your life until one day you realize… October has arrived. Even when the calendar says otherwise. Listen to The October Club, the latest episode of The Leal Legacy Podcast: [LINK] Welcome to spooky season. Shop Our Store. The Book of Esther never once mentions the name of God—yet His fingerprints are on every page. If you are currently living in enemy territory, wondering if the Lord has forgotten you or if your faith is entirely outnumbered by modern Babylon, this visual and scriptural masterclass reveals exactly why you were held back for such a time as this. Summary: In this powerful and comforting episode, we explore the vibrant, high-stakes narrative of the Book of Esther. Operating as the female equivalent of Joseph in Egypt and Daniel in Babylon, Esther's journey provides an exquisite template for how the covenant family survives, adapts, and ultimately triumphs when the presence of God feels entirely "masked" behind natural events. The Masks of Purim: We explore the historical and cultural context of Purim, analyzing why the Jewish equivalent of Halloween centers on costumes, hidden identities, and dramatic plot reversals. Agency vs. Objectification: We contrast the quiet strength of Vashti and the child-like submission of Esther against the shallow, unrestricted hedonism of King Ahasuerus's court. The Double Play of Names: We unpack the hidden meanings behind the names Hadassah, Esther, and Mordecai, tracing how Babylon tries to force the world's gods upon us while the Lord silently preserves our true heritage. The Absolute Cavalry of Timing: We dissect Mordecai's piercing question in Esther 4:14, aligning it with modern temple preparation and the distinct spiritual gifts required for our specific location in history. Enforced Empathy and Gallows: We look at the absolute irony of Haman's pride, tracking how his self-centered craving for recognition forced him to parade his own rival in royal apparel before falling into the very pit he dug. Two Messianic Figures: We conclude by recasting the story's dual resolution—viewing Esther as a mediator willing to die for her people, and Mordecai as the victorious true leader who refused to bow to worldly idols. Call-to-Action: Esther was forced to step past the letter of the law and approach the inner court of the king relying entirely on faith and the fasting of her people. In this summer repeat, Patrick and Jonah continue their series on heaven and hell by asking why Christian spirituality still speaks of enemies, adversaries, demons, and battle. Wouldn't it be better to move beyond all language of conflict and darkness? The conversation explores the danger of spiritual paths that seek bliss by escaping pain, evil, and the cross. Patrick and Jonah distinguish bliss from love, and ask what it means to follow Christ not out of the world, but into a deeper relationship with it. Through Psalm 23, communion, Halloween, Judas, and the call to “take up your cross,” they reflect on how Christ prepares a table in the presence of our enemies. At the heart of the episode is the mystery that the adversary is not simply removed, but transformed into an unwitting servant of our becoming. In the presence of challenge, betrayal, pain, and evil, we are invited to die to what is hardened in us and become capable of a freer, deeper love.Ask us a question here!Support the showThe Light in Every Thing is a podcast of The Seminary of The Christian Community in North America. Six Flags' new leadership is successfully reorienting the company toward repeat visitation, yet this quarter its debt cost more than its parks earned. The strategy of getting more passholders to attend more often and spend more, thereby increasing lifetime spend, is working. Revenue and attendance were up, adjusted for the divested parks, and the upcoming Halloween season, with 448 Halloween-themed experiences from coast to coast, should supercharge that strategy. Yet, while the parks made money, the company still posted a loss due to its debt.Running the parks produced $88.6 million of operating income, up from $74.5 million a year ago. Interest on the company's debt cost $102 million, and the quarter landed at a $20.1 million loss before taxes. The $203 million headline loss is mostly a $157.4 million tax charge, an accounting catch-up tied to the park sales, not a bill: Six Flags paid $4.5 million in cash taxes in the entire first half. Same-park revenue, attendance, and EBITDA all grew, pass sales are up 7%, and the stock still fell 16%.Meanwhile, Six Flags Great America announced Camp Timber Trail, a nine-attraction family land opening in 2027, led by Sky Hawk, a suspended family coaster billed as the Midwest's longest, tallest, and fastest, another build aimed at the family-together demographic that keeps spending.Listen to weekly BONUS episodes on our Patreon.
Send us Fan MailScott and Michelle continue their chronological journey through Halloween Horror Nights history with a deep dive into Halloween Horror Nights 24, a year that successfully blended major horror franchises with memorable original concepts while bringing back a fan-favorite element: traditional scare zones throughout the park. This episode revisits every haunted house from the 2014 event, including Halloween, which brought Michael Myers to Halloween Horror Nights for the very first time, AVP: Alien vs. Predator, The Walking Dead: End of the Line, From Dusk Till Dawn, Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood, and original creations like Dollhouse of the Damned, Giggles & Gore Inc., and Roanoke: Cannibal Colony. The conversation also explores one of the event's biggest changes: the return of multiple themed scare zones after several years without them. Scott and Michelle revisit The Purge: Anarchy, MASKerade: Unstitched, Bayou of Blood, and Face Off: In the Flesh, discussing how their return brought fresh energy back to the streets of Universal Studios Florida. They also look back at Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure and The Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute, two entertainment staples that helped define this era of HHN. Was HHN 24 one of the most underrated events of the 2010s? Scott and Michelle break down the houses, scares, atmosphere, and legacy of an event that quietly became an important turning point in Halloween Horror Nights history.Make your rooms, cars and life smell like your favorite Theme Park and save 15% by using code THNETWORK and clicking here:https://magiccandlecompany.com?sca_ref=8499280.CVzaCEZ7KoGhost Executioners Merchandise!https://www.teepublic.com/user/thehorrificnetwork?utm_source=designer&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=horrificnetworkFollow All Things Horrific Network Herehttps://linktr.ee/thehorrificnetworkGet Your Sinister Creature Con Tickets Herehttps://www.sinistercreaturecon.com/thecon

Anthony tells the story of his two-year-old son Mason ripping the nose off a $47 Halloween decoration at the Bay Village Farmers Market, forcing him to buy it on the spot rather than negotiate with the vendor. Ken and the crew debate whether Anthony should have tried to work out a deal since it wasn't a retail store, arguing farmers market prices are more negotiable than a chain store's. Talk then shifts to Joe Thomas, with Ken saying he doesn't want a rough offensive line season to spark fan pressure for Thomas to become a coach, comparing that scenario to the old "Bernie Kosar for GM" calls the station used to get. The crew closes by weighing the mixed track record of ex-players turned executives, name-checking John Lynch's success and Mike Mayock's flop in the same role.
