Social media is increasingly where people are turning in order to learn about sexual health, from dealing with sex problems to coping with infertility. But is it giving us accurate information? January 8, 2021: How has your healthcare system adapted this year? Jeff Sturman, CIO for Memorial Healthcare talks vaccine distribution, one-click telehealth visits, care at home, call centers and social media. Is the silver bullet the vaccine? We have to hope that's the case. How are you going with your planning, testing, piloting and protocols? What are you looking at in terms of a frictionless workflow for one-click telehealth visits? Is Epic playing a major part? What about FaceTime, Doximity or American Well? During a pandemic you have to make whatever IT you have available work for you and your patients. Going forward, how do you clean it up and bring everybody into a standard workflow and standard procedures? What are some of the ways you're utilizing new channels to connect with patients and your community? And is there a change in how we're thinking about new acute care facilities or clinics? Key Points:What is the workflow for a one-click telehealth visit? [00:12:55] Investing in an Epic remote patient monitor [00:22:55] Hand washing compliance technology [00:20:50] Changes in regulatory resulted in an explosion of telehealth earlier this year [00:22:30] Moving from work from home to hybrid hoteling type solutions [00:25:20] Bot technology, omni-channel texting and chatting functionality [00:30:45] Memorial Healthcare System

Infection in the body leads to calcification, which eventually leads to heart disease. Are there measures we can take to prevent it? What are the common causes of calcification? Do statin medications have any benefits? On this episode, I’m joined by legendary physician, heart disease and testosterone expert, and author, Dr. Jeffrey Dach. He shares his insights on calcification, and the attack on our biological systems.   Three Takeaways  The two common causes of calcification are a leaky gut and dental disease.  In order to move medicine forward, we need disruptive science; studies which cause paradigm shifts of established patterns and economic interrupt patterns.  The benefits of statin drugs are not lowering cholesterol, they are actually pleiotropic effects which include the reduction of inflammation.   At the start of the show, we talked about the harm calcification does on body, and the two common causes of it. Next, we talked about how important cholesterol panels are in determining someone’s general health, some of the benefits that statins have, and the effects of clomid.  We also discussed; HPA dysfunction in men as a cause of low testosterone  How glyphosate is affecting our health  Whether vaccinations are excessive and toxic Guest Bio-  Dr. Jeffrey is a Specialty Board Certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and has 25 years experience serving the Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida, with Radiology Associates of Hollywood. He is also the author of The Heart Book. For more information, visit https://jeffreydachmd.com/.
