Almost every ancient culture believed that human civilization and consciousness has progressively declined since an erstwhile Golden Age or Satya Yuga till the current age of greed and lies, discord and strife, called the Iron Age or Kali Yuga. Unfortunately, during our long passage through the darkness of the Kali Yuga, the original formulation of the Yuga Cycle was lost.In this extensively researched book, Bibhu Dev Misra has delineated the common threads that run through the Yuga Cycle doctrines of multiple ancient cultures, taking the aid of scientific discoveries from various disciplines. His reconstruction of the original Yuga Cycle framework indicates that the end of the Kali Yuga is just around the corner - in 2025!Within a span of just 15 years, by the year 2040, the Kali Yuga civilization is likely to collapse due to a combination of global wars, environmental catastrophes and comet impacts. We are living in the end-times that the ancient prophecies had warned us about. The survivors of the impending cataclysms will inherit a renewed earth, bathed in the divine light of the Central Sun.There is compelling evidence from many sources that the Yuga Cycle is a valid scientific doctrine, and is perfectly aligned with the earth's precession cycle. It explains the periodic collapse and re-emergence of civilizations across the world every 3000-odd years, and the progressive decline in our physical size and cranial volume over the past 11,700 years of the descending Yuga Cycle. Why does our consciousness fluctuate in a sinusoidal manner over the course of the Yuga Cycle? What are the triggers for the cataclysmic obliteration of civilization during the periods of transition between the Yuga? What is the significance of the end-time prophecies which tell of a Savior or Avatar returning at the end of the Kali Yuga? How can we navigate through the upheavals and chaos of the Yuga-ending period? These are some of the key questions addressed in this book. This riveting and thought-provoking work contains one of the most important messages of our time.Bibhu Dev Misra has been actively researching and writing on ancient civilizations and ancient mysteries for more than a decade. He is a regular contributor to many international magazines and websites such as New Dawn, Nexus, Mysterious Universe, GrahamHancock Forum, Science to Sage etc., and has appeared on podcasts and online conferences on Earth Ancients, Portal to Ascension, OSOM, Watcher's Talk and more.Bibhu lives in Kolkata, India, with his family. In this episode we speak with Dr Soudip Roy Chowdhury, CEO of Eugenie.ai. Eugenie is building an AI platform that is helping to reduce carbon emissions from asset-heavy manufacturing operations. Many industrial processes, such as steel and cement production, require large amounts of energy to generate high temperature process heat. The current reliance on fossil fuels for this energy makes it difficult and economically prohibitive to switch to low-carbon alternatives and effectively decarbonize. These industries are the epitome of what we think about when we think of carbon emissions. They are vast, generate a tremendous amount of carbon impact, and aren't going anywhere. Eugenie.ai is tackling the problem by bringing accuracy to emission measurement using an ensemble of methods and then deep learning their way to the most optimal operational practices. In our conversation we learned just how medieval some of this tech is, which is great news - there's a tremendous amount of slack in the system to take up. Eugenie's platform is able to improve production, reduce wastage, and improve product quality all while reducing ~30% of emissions – and because of rising costs, do it at a net financial gain to companies.Though a complete overhaul might be long ways out, the smallest efficiency gain brought about in the industrial sector by machine learning adds up to carbon saving comparable to fixing the entire transportation industry! Our Guest, Soudip Roy ChowdhurySoudip Roy Chowdhury is the founder and CEO of Eugenie.ai. He has successfully taken Eugenie from the conceptualization stage to a merger, transforming it from 0 to 1. Eugenie has been featured by Google I/O, CNBC, Forbes, and major analyst reports as an innovative solution for industrial decarbonization. With over 18 years of professional experience, Soudip has held various technical leadership roles at IBM Research, Rakuten, Tata Elxsi, Fractal AI Inc., and other AI and data startups across three continents. He holds a PhD in machine learning and is passionate about applying AI to solve large-scale problems such as climate change. At Eugenie, Soudip and his team are building an AI platform to decarbonize asset-heavy manufacturing operations. A nature lover and avid traveler, he shares his environmental passion with his daughter. In addition to his work at Eugenie, Soudip advises several startups in sustainability, AI, and healthcare domains. He is an advisor on the Forbes Tech Council, serves as an AI/ML advisor for DevNetwork, and holds an adjunct faculty position at IIT Kharagpur in India.Eugenie: https://www.linkedin.com/company/eugenie-ai/Soudip: https://www.linkedin.com/in/soudiprc/Your Hosts Mansi Shah - Joshua Marker ClimateStack

I graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 1986 and was fortunate to benefit from the vision and leadership of the genius and leadership of Prof. Bhaskaran. Here are some key insights from this week's show: - The excitement to face a challenge and the intent to deliver is enough to get the ball rolling. - Learn to grab the opportunities that come your way. - Make an impact by living up to the trust that others place in you. - Discipline and standards can make one stand out in a crowd. - The smallest of small details matter to put up the best show. - Building bonds plays a major role in earning trust. - There is no place for discrimination when you're fully committed to serve. - Not imposing conditions and graciously accepting results can sometimes work better than persuasion in the long run. - Self-evaluation leads to figuring out your true passion, which in turn leads you in the direction where you shine and blossom. - Human emotions are very tricky. Hesitation and panic can often lead to desperation. Watch the video version here: https://youtu.be/C7f7lW-TMss

The twelfth edition of the QS World University Rankings by subject is out and springs a surprise on some of the IITs. Chennai-based Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences and Dhanbad's Indian School of Mines University made it to India's top 16 in the UK-based Quacquarelli Symonds's latest World University Rankings by Subject. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences has been placed 18th globally for dentistry and IIT-ISM, Dhanbad is India's second-highest ranked at 26th place for mineral and mining engineering subject.   35 programmes offered by 16 Indian higher education institutions have managed to break into the top 100 in the world, in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022.  This is a considerable improvement from last year, when 25 courses by 12 institutions made it to the top 100. Rising over a hundred places, The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali, made the highest jump in rankings by being placed 44th in pharmacy and pharmacology subject. Programmes from six of the eight Public Institutes of Eminence have figured in the top 100. IIT Madras ranked 30th for petroleum engineering, becoming India's highest-ranking Public Institute of Eminence. Others include IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, Delhi University and the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.  The University of Delhi was ranked 41st in the development studies subject.  The OP Jindal Global University has been placed at the 70th position for law and legal studies. It is the only Private Institute of Eminence and the only private institute, apart from Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, to make it to the top 100.  Public Institutes of Eminence remained better-represented in the rankings than private ones.  QS said, after four and a half years since the inception of the country's ‘Institutes of Eminence' scheme, the recognised universities gained moderate ground on the global stage. A significant amount of autonomy in academic, administrative and financial matters has been provided under the regulatory framework to these institutions. Financial assistance of up to Rs 1,000 crore over a period of five years is granted by the government to each of the Public Institutions of Eminence. In the business and management studies, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Bangalore and Ahmedabad bagged top-100 ranks. So, what's the roadmap for Indian universities to improve their position in QS rankings?   While Indian institutes have made great strides towards achieving world-class quality, more efforts are required in the areas of faculty-to-student ratio, international faculty and international students to climb the QS rankings of best universities and best programmes.   Watch video
