'I_NY' (The Studio Album) Track 07- eye(s). Uptown A, ft. c o l o r s prod. By Blū Tha Gürū “Tears of a Clown” eye(s) official music video I_NY. (The Studio Album) By Uptown A A Short Film Concept Written and Directed by C'cxell Soleïl [Prod. By Blū Tha Gürū] CONEY ISLAND, circa 1903 A carnival entertainer is swept through time and into an unknown world—as the clown/mime struggles to find something familiar in the new world, the clown soon realizes they may be trapped forever and unable to return to the past. FORWARD TO; CONEY ISLAND— PRESENT DAY Afraid and bewildered, the clown makes his way through the city in an inescapable escapade. SHOOTING DATE: TBD LOCATION: CONEY ISLAND, NY- LUNA PARK AND SURROUNDING AREAS Video will be shot on iPhone to give authenticity to the handheld POV-style of the overall project (I_NY: A Short Folm Concept) Character Analysis: The clown seems out of place to begin with, even in 1903; we do not know where the clown belongs—or even with clarity if the character is even meant to be a clown or a mime; the ill-fitting and off-kilter period dress raises questions to whether this clown has time traveled before—and yet—the general bewilderment and chaotic confusion of the clown is telling to that of the treasurer that he has been uprooted out of place, and transported into an unfamiliar world, unable to communicate with people in the modern era, and deeply upset by his own lack of understanding; the clown may even be mute, unable to speak—limiting his ability further— though appearing to be in some ways, anyhow, a magical l creature, the clown eventually succumbs to the fact that he may become a permanent artifact of the new age—unwilling and unable to continue to search for another portal back from whence he came, he becomes complacent and settles in the new world, nearly seeming to be, in the end Not so entirely out of place after all—another lost soul amongst the masses of modern day New York City; the clown makes himself at home. Fuck man, I need to write a 1990's happy ending movie Well, first of all, it's all in the music. The maid is working overtime, A bloodymary; doctor's order Hollywood's oldest secrets, kept safe Hollywood's oldest martyr; Don't bother. Father comes home early; Don't bother calling, Sorry Father knows best; You know what– Father knows best, You know Hollywood's oldest soul (you sold it) Hollywood's oldest post-mortem award and Hollywood's oldest post-modern art installation. You're on air. Statues and old movies, Like words Colors that move like my Someone other; Simply a color, or bouquet of Card tricks. Beg your pardon. Shut up. Excuse me?! Do you do card tricks?! …what are you asking? Did I stutter? Blue, and pink balloons Cerulean and a meridian of fuchsia Just the undertones of code, If what you wanted was to Discover your own world, Well, welcome, Welcome, Welcome home. YOU CAN TELL IT”S THE BLACK VERSION OF THE WIZARD OF OZ, CAUSE THIS SHIT IS FUCKKKED UP. ALL THE WAY FUCKED UP: AND THE ORIGINAL IS FUCKED UP. I'm like, “WHERE”S MICHAEL JACKSON? “I'M READY TO GETTING THE FUCK OUT OF HERE.'“FUCK THIS.” ohh , she's from new york No wonder her concussion dream is fucked up. This is aaaallll fucked up. Not everything needs to be black. They should have kept this white. Give me judy garland And them racist ass midgets Aaaannnyyyy day Over this shit. No. no ‘the wiz' “Where's michael jackson?” I don't like this. “Where he at?” “I gotta pay my respects, and I gotta go.” I gotta GO. BYE. i had to keep watching it. You know why? Cause it kept getting WORSE. I kept watching it, I'm like “How much worse could it be?” WORSE. They added a snorting lion, A womanizer tin man, and a homeless. YES. You got that right. They added an actual homeless To the black ass ghetto ass New york ass version of The wizard of Oz And actually thought Michael Jackson dressed as a scarecrow Was gonna soften this out. It DIDN'T. It just got worse; So i was like “Fuck this. I hate this.” But i just kept watching it, Because i'm like: It can't be WORSE, can it? It CAN They added a homeless But that's not the scary part about this guy So they're in the New York Subway, And they add a homeless, I'm like “that's …accurate” So this homeless like follows them underground and like, traps them And that's scary right? No. This is the scary part: He's not just a regular fuckin underground subway dude He's a fuckin vetriloquist puppeteer homeless. WHAT. You heard that right. THE WORST. So this guy like traps them all underground in the subway station, And they try to escape, And they run up the stairs, And they escape, to like The subway station And I'm like “ what station is this?” “Seems like uptown.” “It's got the gate, that closes– Yeah, that's uptown. That's uptown. But then I was instantly reminded that i was watching a movie, Because they escaped upstairs, And the trash can started moving, The trash cans came alive, and started chasing them– And I'm thinking, “That's how you know this is a movie: that's two trashcans In an uptown subway station. That's unheard of. Not one trash can: But two?! Nah, This a movie. Not to mention the fact that they're alive and chasing these motherfuckers around I'm like “No. that's inaccurate” There are no trashcans in uptown. None at all. Then I'm thinking, Well, this movie is kind of dated: Maybe that's what happened to them! There used to be trash cans, But one too many half-eaten McDonalds cheeseburgers– They went nuclear. They just got up– walked away. Started chasing people. Too much coca cola. Them suckers grew eyes and legs and was like “Ah hell naw” “WE IN UPTOWN?” “we in uptown new york city?!” “AH HELL NAH” We in uptown! Lets get the fuck outta here! They wasn't even chasing them people in the movie They're just like “WHERE'S THE EXIT” “FUCK THIS PLACE” “THIS BETTER NOT BE DA BRONX.” “FUck outta here.” FUck this movie. And the whole time, Dorothy just look terrified. Terrified with a bad afro. Just look terrified; NO range of emotion whatsoever–just 0.0 But with the worst afro i've ever regretted. No. This movie is all wrong. Ain't no lollipop guild in this motherfucker! You know Richard Pryor was high as hell when he thought this one up. I'm assuming it was his idea. Who else would proclaim themselves, As the Wizard of Black Oz?! Of course. The african sweatsshop choreography was phenomenal, however. Yes, i just said that. This joke was pretty much pre-determined; I didn't even have to write it. I was just dictating. Yo. “What the FUCK.' Actually, that last part is inaccurate. I had to look it up I had to fact check myself. I did some digging; And come to find out– a white man wrote it. What in the actual fuck. I'm almost like “No wonder though.” That was fucked up. Come to find out, Dude who wrote is name is “Joel” White dude from new york. He went to Parsons! He went to Parson's school of Design And then wrote “the wiz” Goddamn! What goes on at Parson's? I know it's Downtown, But gotDAMN. I'm just saying. I did not like that movie. Powerhouse cast. Revolutionary for its time; But absolutely the fucking worst. Fuck The Wiz. Gimmie the old version. Gimmie the KKK and the actual midgets, I don't give a fuck. KKK MGM Same difference, yes? The Wiz was like LSD vs PCP; I'm like “nahp.' Fuck that. Get me the fuk up out of here. In this episode, my guest is Dr. Bonnie Halpern-Felsher, PhD, FSAHM. She is a professor of pediatrics and adolescent medicine and a developmental psychologist at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Halpern-Felsher is a world expert in adolescent decision-making and risk-taking behaviors. She explains the huge increase in vaping (e-cigarettes) by young people. She explains why vaping nicotine and cannabis is particularly dangerous to the developing brain. We discuss the rise in vaping addiction, the unique social pressures and social media influences faced by youth that make quitting challenging, and interventions to aid them in quitting or reducing use. We also discuss the role of technology and social media. And, the use of alcohol, nicotine pouches, fentanyl, and other risky behaviors that adolescents face now. This episode should interest parents, teachers, coaches, teens, and families. It covers the current youth substance use landscape and also covers resources and ways to quit these addictive behaviors. Freeway Rick Ross: The Untold Autobiography is an intimate look at the day-to-day dealings of a drug kingpin in the heart of the ghetto. It's also the story of a boy born in poverty Texas who grew up in a single-parent household in the heart of South Central, who was pushed through the school system each year and came out illiterate. His options were few, and he turned to drug dealing. This Untold Autobiography is not only personal, but also historical in its implications. Rick Ross chronicles the times by highlighting the social climate that made crack cocaine so desirable, and he points out that at the time, the “cops in the area didn't know what crack was; they didn't associate the small white rocks they saw on homies as illegal drugs.” All Rick Ross knew was people wanted it.13 minutes ago #freeway rick ross: the untoldThis show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/1198501/advertisement

Cocaine, Crack and Freebase -In this episode of Cracking Addiction we explore cocaine, it's origins, the difference between powder cocaine and crack and freebase and the effects of cocaine on various organ systems and in pregnancy.Cocaine is a stimulant drug that is made from the leaves of the coca plant. It is a powerful psychoactive substance that is commonly used for recreational purposes. When ingested, cocaine produces feelings of increased energy, alertness, and euphoria. It is also a potent anesthetic and can be used medically to numb tissues and decrease bleeding during surgery.Crack is a form of cocaine that has been processed to create a rock crystal, which can be smoked. Crack cocaine is highly addictive and produces a strong, immediate high that lasts for only a few minutes. The high is followed by a crash that leaves the user feeling exhausted and depressed.Freebase is another form of cocaine that has been processed to create a more pure, potent form of the drug. It is made by mixing cocaine with ammonia or sodium bicarbonate and heating the mixture to remove the hydrochloride salt, which makes the cocaine more soluble in water. This allows the drug to be smoked, producing an intense, short-lived high. Freebase cocaine is extremely potent and can be very dangerous due to the high risk of overdose. It is important to note that all forms of cocaine are potentially harmful and can have serious short-term and long-term health effects. Regular use of cocaine can lead to addiction and can have detrimental effects on mental and physical health.Latest Blogshttps://www.meducate.com.au/blogAbout Meducate ®Meducate provides online education for doctors, clinicians, health professionals and the public.See the website to browse the many different talks and courses available https://www.meducate.com.au

Chris and I were two IV heroin addicts who loved to talk about all the coke we smoked, snorted and shot, all the pills we ate, smoked, all the weed we smoked and ate, all the booze we consumed and all the consequences we suffered. After making the show for 2 and a half years, Chris tragically relapsed and died from a fentanyl overdose. Dopey continued on, at first to mourn the horrible loss of Chris, but then to continue our mission - which was at its core, to keep addicts and alcoholics company. Whether to laugh at our time in rehab, or cry at the worst missteps we made, Dopey tells the truth about drugs, addiction and recovery. We continually mine the universe for stories rife with debauchery and highlight serious drug taking and alcoholism. We also examine different paths toward addiction recovery. We shine a light on harm reduction and medication assisted treatment.
John Holmes unexpectedly found fame in the 1970s with a freakishly large appendage that proved a gateway into the burgeoning adult entertainment industry. He appeared in over 2,000 porn films and is alleged to have slept with over 14,000 women. But a severe drug habit put him in close contact with some strange bedfellows in the Los Angeles underworld, including a ragtag gang of junkies and dealers, and Eddie Nash, a dangerous criminal mastermind. Drugs, desperation, and double-crossing would eventually lead to the infamous murders at 8763 Wonderland Avenue on July 1, 1981.Follow Badlands wherever you get your podcasts to hear new episodes of BADLANDS Season 1: HOLLYWOODLAND each Wednesday. Is Cocaine dangerous? Are cocaine and crack the same? How popular is cocaine? Cocaine used to be the drug of the 80’s. Business people and movie stars living large. Cocaine is making a comeback all over the world. In this episode we’ll be talking about cocaine and crack. Tune in to this week’s episode of All Things Substance.
Sie sei also quasi in diesem Park aufgewachsen.

In this interview I speak with Holle Thee Maxwell about her musical journey and recent book, Freebase Ain't Free, which depicts her 15 years working with and helping the Legendary Ike Turner. Chicago-born vocalist Holly Maxwell, now professionally known as Holle Thee Maxwell, found her early fortune in the vibrant California music scene of the 1970s, eventually bringing her to the audience of rock n’ roll icon Ike Turner. What started off as a professional relationship became a strange adventure through the music studios, hotel rooms, and drug houses of Los Angeles, with Maxwell acting as Turner's personal assistant, bodyguard, confidante, and surrogate sister. Holle Thee Maxwell recounts the many years she spent in the company of Ike Turner during his period of self-facilitated seclusion (also known as his “fifteen-year party”), his brief prison stay where he kicked his drug habit, and his eventual return to prominence as the successful and influential musician he was born to be. Freebase Ain’t Free tracks the intersecting and intertwining of these two kindred spirits, their mutual ups and downs, and the arc of their inexplicably dynamic relationship. https://www.facebook.com/FreeBase-Aint-Free-711234022568199/ https://books.google.com/books/about/Freebase_Ain_t_Free.html?id=yhJhuwEACAAJ For more information on the healthy alternative for coffee - https://lnk.bio/d_pearl_lee?fbclid=IwAR0pr98i-Nqnlmi8jofRB8aMGqg-EfKnN24V9cMcZuM2MVOCQWL7R-6AyIk And follow Mrs. Pearrley on Instagram @d_pearl_lee To donate to or sponsor content for Jack Dappa Blues Radio https://www.paypal.me/LamontJack --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jackdappabluespodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jackdappabluespodcast/support
Schönen 3. Sustanzsonntag! This week, we travel back in time for a super swingin', cocaine snortin', late 70's/early 80's good time! He overcame some odds with his immense talent, but hit a major stumbling block with drugs. He partook in everything the New York lifestyle had to offer. He had all the women, partied at Studio 54 & Plato's Retreat, and snorted millions of dollars up his nose. Did he ever come out the other side, or did the whole thing end in tragedy? Either way, he has some of the most hilarious quotes in history. This is a fun one!! For historians, there are only few better biographies than that of Dorian Paic to illustrate the Techno and House history of Frankfurt: the jet set disco Dorian Gray, a place called Music Hall, Sven Väth's legendary Omen, the cult club XS or the younger high altars like the Monza or the Robert Johnson in Offenbach - Paic has been involved in one or another way. His mind had been inflamed already years ago. For the intensity and ecstasy that could be found in the clubs in the early years. For the strange mixture of people from all social levels and ways of life and for the taste of the smoke coming from the fog machines. And, of course, for the music. The nineties went by in a blur and Paic did not only become an authority of the downtown hot spot Monza, he also influenced the sound of his city in front of and behind the counter of the record shop institution Freebase. Ricardo Villalobos had Dorian support him on his highly acclaimed "Fabric Mix", Sven Väth chooses him as his preferred opening DJ at the Love Family Park and also in Ibiza, he is a welcome guest at the Cocoon parties. Laurels all around. But this is no coincidence. Experts don't appear out of the blue. This can also be seen in Dorian's work at his label "raum...musik". Being both the A&R and one of the releasing artists there, he proves that you can also form a great artist roster with convincing releases apart from major/indie mindsets. Enjoy! www.upfestival.cz

Large knowledge graphs increasingly add great value to various applications that require machines to recognize and understand queries and their semantics, as in search or question answering systems. These applications include Google search, Bing search, IBM’s Watson, but also smart mobile assistants as Apple’s Siri, Google Now or Microsoft’s Cortana. Popular knowledge graphs like DBpedia, YAGO or Freebase store a broad range of facts about the world, to a large extent derived from Wikipedia, currently the biggest web encyclopedia. In addition to these freely accessible open knowledge graphs, commercial ones have also evolved including the well-known Google Knowledge Graph or Microsoft’s Satori. Since incompleteness and veracity of knowledge graphs are known problems, the statistical modeling of knowledge graphs has increasingly gained attention in recent years. Some of the leading approaches are based on latent variable models which show both excellent predictive performance and scalability. Latent variable models learn embedding representations of domain entities and relations (representation learning). From these embeddings, priors for every possible fact in the knowledge graph are generated which can be exploited for data cleansing, completion or as prior knowledge to support triple extraction from unstructured textual data as successfully demonstrated by Google’s Knowledge-Vault project. However, large knowledge graphs impose constraints on the complexity of the latent embeddings learned by these models. For graphs with millions of entities and thousands of relation-types, latent variable models are required to exploit low dimensional embeddings for entities and relation-types to be tractable when applied to these graphs. The work described in this thesis extends the application of latent variable models for large knowledge graphs in three important dimensions. First, it is shown how the integration of ontological constraints on the domain and range of relation-types enables latent variable models to exploit latent embeddings of reduced complexity for modeling large knowledge graphs. The integration of this prior knowledge into the models leads to a substantial increase both in predictive performance and scalability with improvements of up to 77% in link-prediction tasks. Since manually designed domain and range constraints can be absent or fuzzy, we also propose and study an alternative approach based on a local closed-world assumption, which derives domain and range constraints from observed data without the need of prior knowledge extracted from the curated schema of the knowledge graph. We show that such an approach also leads to similar significant improvements in modeling quality. Further, we demonstrate that these two types of domain and range constraints are of general value to latent variable models by integrating and evaluating them on the current state of the art of latent variable models represented by RESCAL, Translational Embedding, and the neural network approach used by the recently proposed Google Knowledge Vault system. In the second part of the thesis it is shown that the just mentioned three approaches all perform well, but do not share many commonalities in the way they model knowledge graphs. These differences can be exploited in ensemble solutions which improve the predictive performance even further. The third part of the thesis concerns the efficient querying of the statistically modeled knowledge graphs. This thesis interprets statistically modeled knowledge graphs as probabilistic databases, where the latent variable models define a probability distribution for triples. From this perspective, link-prediction is equivalent to querying ground triples which is a standard functionality of the latent variable models. For more complex querying that involves e.g. joins and projections, the theory on probabilistic databases provides evaluation rules. In this thesis it is shown how the intrinsic features of latent variable models can be combined with the theory of probabilistic databases to realize efficient probabilistic querying of the modeled graphs.

Jon Voss will discuss Civil War Data 150 ("CWD150"), a collaborative project of the Archives of Michigan, the Internet Archive, and Freebase. CWD150 seeks to link Civil War archives and data from separate state and national sources in an open community-maintained database (Freebase), and create interactive web applications to help crowdsource the data linking. The project presents research questions of particular interest to archivists regarding the use of strong identifiers and shared ontologies, as well as uses for shared metadata in the context of the Semantic Web.
