In this episode, the dogs discuss the heroes journey (12:45) and Rob asks the question: If we're made for home, then why do we leave (14:00)? Rob gives his favorite Summer Reading combinations (7:55), Connor references the gospel of Luke (19:00) as well as SNL (24:30), and Mike shares what it's like to maintain values while developing his career in the army (28:22). Quotes: "Culture without substance is empty." (Mike, 1:30) "There's nothing you can do but kick your horse.” (from Lonesome Dove, 10:45) "Life is about relationship." (Mike, 18:09) "That's the cross and resurrection. The way to life is death." (Connor 19:30) "My son, you are here with me always; everything I have is yours." (Luke 15:31, 23:15) “Late have I loved you, beauty so old and so new: late have I loved you. And see, you were within and I was in the external world and sought you there, and in my unlovely state I plunged into those lovely created things which you made. You were with me, and I was not with you." (from Augustine's Confessions, 25:20) “The ways that we live in "untruth" for some “greater good” can actually mar us and change us.” (Mike, 28:41) “The framework for the question of growth is off if it's just about you.” (Rob, 32:50) "To be the truly human image of God, where you're an unselfconscious gift to God... that's holiness... you just have to receive it and step into that river with Jesus.” (Connor, 36:50) “You've answered all my questions because now I've seen you.” (Mike, 40:20) Media Mentions: Good Morning, Vietnam (1987)Pride & Prejudice (2005)A River Runs Through It (1992)Jane Austen's Pride and PrejudiceDownton Abbey (2010- 2015)Art of Manliness Podcast #871: Jane Austen for DudesEvelyn Waugh's Brideshead RevisitedMatt Fradd's interview with Peter KreeftJ.R.R. I begin to explore the history of physical fitness by reading an article I found on the Art of Manliness Podcast website called “The History of Physical Fitness” by Erwan Le Corre. Where did this practice come from? How did our ancient ancestors stay in shape? Listen in and find out. But more importantly, why are not more of my brethren getting in the habit of exercising their bodies to be strong pillars of their families, lodges, and society? Check out what I'm up to this summer and fall and see if you can learn some Greek and Latin with me. Full Show Notes Available at https://plutarch.life/timoleonSeason 4 is brought to you by Hackett Publishing - Use the coupon code PLUTARCH for 20% off and free shipping at hackettpublishing.comImportant PeopleTimophanes - Timoleon's brother and the first tyrant we meet in this story. His name, rather fittingly, means "seems honorable."Dionysius II - The tyrant whom Dion overthrew, but did not execute. He returns to power after Dion's death only to be replaced by Hicetas.Hicetas - The tyrant who replaces Dionysius II, who had allied with the Carthaginians to gain power. Starting out allied with the Corinthians, he becomes Timoleon's main enemy in the fight to free Syracuse.Mago - Carthaginian general allied with Hicetas and leading a formidable navy. He's the first Carthaginian general to “capture” Syracuse, though it's Hicetas who hands the city over. Plato - Though dead by the time Timoleon comes to power, he haunts this dialogue both in its analysis of tyranny and its understanding of justice.Key Virtues and VicesJustice (δίκη - dikē) - Plutarch argues (30.9) that Justice preserved Timoleon's good fortune. With this in mind, it's helpful to remember that Dion didn't have the same good fortune, though he seems to have deserved it. Perhaps he stepped off the road of Justice and Plutarch allows us to decide where and when. Timoleon also puts justice and honor over convenience (5.1), his brother acts without justice (4.5) when he becomes tyrant, and Timoleon not only acts justly (5.1; 10.7; 29.6), but physically restores the courts of justice (22.3) to the democracy of Syracuse that before had to rely on the whims of the tyrant. Gentleness (πραότης - praotēs) - Though not mentioned often, it's important for us to remember that this is a virtue listed explicitly in Aristotle's Ethics and one that Plutarch takes great interest in for his characters. Timoleon is introduced to us as gentle (3.4), but not with tyrants and base men. We're also told at the end that he dealt gently and justly with friends (37.5), but boldly and powerfully against barbarians (i.e. Carthaginians in this case). See Plutarch's "On the Moderation of Anger" or Aristotle's Ethics Book 4, Ch. 5 (1125b35) for a more thorough discussion of this virtue and its most obvious excess: anger. Wisdom (φρονήσις - phronēsis) - Especially on the heels of Dion's life, Timoleon just strikes us as lucky. Yet, Plutarch primes us in the preface (0.8) to read with an eye for his wise choices and not to judge every decision by its (usually positive) outcome. Plato's wisdom even helps men like Dionysius (15.4)External LinksAmbleside Online's Study Guide for TimoleonHerman Melville's Poem Timoleon, of which I read the eighth and final stanza in the podcastEnglish Translation of Plutarch's Life of Timoleon Greek and English of Plutarch's Life of Timoleon (Perseus)Art of Manliness Podcast about Plato Trying to Convince Glaucon not to Grow into a Tyrant in the RepublicSupport the show

In so many ways, timing is everything, and 5 years later in true Kendrick Lamar fashion, a new album is released speaking deeply about masculinity and mens mental health. And when we really started to dive deep into the lyrics, especially in the song "Father Time", we thought, "did he write this for the podcast?!" Or maybe the podcast for was written for him... either way, this album represents almost perfectly what we are here trying to actively to do - to help men understand themselves more clearly, to create a safe space for men to seek out help, to address the challenges we face as men in this world, and to find and create opportunities to help us become better men. In this episode, the dogs discuss the relationship between authority and control (3:30). Rob brings up the scrutiny readings from The Gospel of John (3:51). Connor takes a hard line against any positive connotations surrounding control (6:10), but Rob and Mike are less convinced (11:30). They end in disagreement (29:20). To be continued.... Quotes: “When you don't have authority you need to control people.” (Connor, 6:46) “In Heaven you get all the joy, but no control.” (Connor, 7:40) "So they took away the stone. And Jesus raised his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you for hearing me. I know that you always hear me; but because of the crowd here I have said this, that they may believe that you sent me." And when he had said this, he cried out in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” (John 11: 41- 43) “God never controls. His love is always serene. It is always chaste. It is always non-possessive, even though we might want it to be.” (Connor, 14:32) “You can't love without freedom.” (Connor, 14:51) “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” (John 8:7) "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down on my own. I have power to lay it down, and power to take it up again. This command I have received from my Father.” (John 10:18) “Woah, Dad's here.” (Rob, 25:27) “God speaks us into being out of Love.” (Connor, 27:10) “I think when you grasp at things that are beyond your control, then you get in trouble. But when you are stewards of the good things that have been given to you, that's when you cooperate with the grace of God.” (Mike, 28:25) Media Mentions: Good Morning, Vietnam (1987)Art of Manliness Podcast #792: How Power CorruptsJesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead : John 11:1-45A Woman Caught in Adultery : John 8: 1-11Gospel of JohnC.S. The influence of porn is substantial in our society, and access has only become easier. Unfortunately, the negative affects of porn on our psyche and what we believe is "real sex" are also substantial. Men, it's time to talk. This is one of the most important conversations we have because sex is a huge topic in our lives, and yet something we rarely ever talk about with full honesty. We go deep, we share very vulnerable truths + hilarious stories, and we share our take on how to go about changing our own perspectives towards sex + how to start thinking about the next generation. That oh so dreaded Monday feeling. The case of the Monday's. Low energy. Stressed. Dejected. Tired. That "is it Friday yet?" feeling. We've all been there. But why? Why can't we just be present? Why can't we be in the moment? What's so special about Friday? What's so special about the weekend? We rush for the weekend to arrive and then we're back to being anxious and stressed come Sunday. A vicious cycle if I do say so myself. Stop living for the weekend. Live in the present. Be here. Be in the now. Up to this point, we've understood Charles Eisenstein as the poet-philosopher of conspirituality, lending his Burning Man ritual workshop chops to the antivax faux-freedom movement. Out of deference to his apparent sensitivity and respectable writing skills, we've given him the benefit of the doubt—we even invited him on this show for two episodes to see whether we could find common ground. We didn't.In our last Bonus episode, Julian tracked how Eisenstein has accelerated and intensified his rhetoric. Today, we'll see how he's fortifying his money networks, and starting to say the quiet parts out loud. He's no longer “just” dog-whistling violence and QAnon. We're reviewing a recent video he's co-produced with Onnit multimillionaire and Austin bro-poet Aubrey Marcus. It's an anime rendition of the ending of his 2013 bestseller, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible. In the book, Eisenstein presents “The Gathering of the Tribe” as a kind of personal mythology. As he levels up to the big leagues, this story about belonging to a group of blessed alien shamans sent to wake up humanity carries clear real-world literalness—and a culty vibe. If the high-end video doesn't convince you, a tape from a hipster New Year's Eve party in Ithaca NY might do the trick. As he holds guru-court for All the Big Questions, Eisenstein tells an Iraq vet that he has special gifts to deploy against the (fictional) building of COVID concentration camps in Rhode Island. Then he says he hopes the “pedophile elite” will just stop. Sound familiar?Eisenstein's content is poetic and vague. Its implications are plausibly deniable. It pours out through an endless stream of radiant and inscrutable essay drops. He has mastered the cryptic prompt that either speaks to your soul, to your appetite for disrupting public health, or to your recent tactical training regimen. Who can really tell? His skill is to stand beside and above it all. He can avoid being pinned down. It's almost as if he's not really there, but only reflecting the zeitgeist of our broken moment. It's time to just name him for what he is: New Age Q.Show NotesA Gathering of the Tribe | POWERFUL Short Film by Charles Eisenstein w/ Jon Hopkins & Aubrey MarcusA Gathering of the Tribe | Reality Sandwich (original, 2009)A Gathering of the Tribe (full version Charles's site)Interview with Charles Eisenstein | Inner World Press | Shift in Consciousness Ezine In the Miracle (Eisenstein essay, 2009)Charles Eisenstein at Resonance NYE The Man Behind the World's Most Famous Fake Vagina233: Aubrey Marcus – Own The Day, Own Your LifeAustin supplement maker boosting brains and bodiesHe Had One Product, $80K in Funding, and One Influencer - And Unilever Just Acquired His Company for 9 FiguresAlpha Nails: Men's Nail Polish That Gives You 'Swag And Sex'Art of Manliness Podcast #93: Total Human Optimization W

Do you find yourself blocking happiness from entering your life because you feel as if you haven't accomplished enough yet and therefore are not worthy of it? To help cultivate our personal answer, we prompt the following questions: what does happiness mean to you? Is it something found outside of yourself? Is it a mindset? Is it something that we eventually achieve when we've accomplished a certain amount of goals? Can you just simply choose to be happy? Is a state of feeling optimistic the same as being happy? And finally - in this moment, are you happy? Seemingly ever-present and, at the same time, ever-elusive, we challenge the following notion - is the concept of "happiness" an appropriate measurement stick for a fulfilling life? Check out our feature as one of the top masculinity podcasts! https://blog.feedspot.com/masculinity_podcasts/Produced by: Chris Smith
Conflict resolution is everywhere at almost every moment. How? Because conflict doesn't just exist with other people - it also happens inside of ourselves. Where should i go today? What career path should I take? What should i eat today? The choice between left and right, good or bad, right and wrong crosses our space constantly, and every one of these moments is breeding an opportunity for conflict. So that begs the question: how do we handle it? Do we shut down because it's too much? Do we deflect it because we don't want to deal with it? Maybe we just give into other peoples opinions because we don't want to upset them or be a burden? No matter what your conflict resolution style is, we invite you to listen in as we share our styles. how they were developed, what patterns we both have that we are working on doing differently, and the biggest lessons we learned that have helped us handle conflict - even between the two of us!

In this podcast, NRS Director Craig Caudill talks about some of the successes and failures of leadership that he has both witnessed and implemented at NRS. The focus is upon utilizing the subjective idea of humility as a measuring stick for proper leadership. He lays out three aspects of humility and then lays out several key ways to recognize it and measure it. =====Follow us at www.naturereliance.org=====Support:Shop our affiliation companies by obtaining discount codes hereJoin Our NewsletterCheck Out Our Gear For Sale=====Mentioned In The PodcastArt of Manliness Podcast #675 (The Humble, Narcissistic Leader)=====
Several years ago I received feedback from a leadership assessment that in an attempt to help my team members solve problems, I was actually making them feel "less than" and defeated. Team members would bring me problems or challenges, and loaded with so much experience, I thought it best to give them advice on how to solve it. Instead of listening and asking questions, I'd send them on their way better off with my wisdom! As I listened to this feedback, I was dumbfounded on one hand and felt kind of dumb on the other hand. Of course quickly solving issues and offering advice would have the opposite of the intended effect. This is actually how I feel when I just want to share with someone else what is on my mind and want help processing it. I actually don't want the person to solve it for me, I just want support. Support means, listening, asking questions and understanding. Help me think this through. About the time I got this feedback, I listened to Michael Bungay-Stanier talk about his new book, The Coaching Habit, on the Art of Manliness Podcast. I read the book and have applied his model of being lazy, talk less, ask more questions and listen more. Since that time, my team has noticed a difference in my leadership style and I actually feel less exhausted leading. Funny how that works. As leaders we are busy, so we tend to solve problems quickly and give advice too often. Of course, there are times we have to do this, but leaders tend to default to this style too often. We can actually unlock the potential of our people by being more coach-like more often. I have followed Michael and his work ever since. I also recently read The Advice Trap which provides more tips and how to stay humble and curious in the way we lead. With that, at the root of what we do at Cameron-Brooks is help leaders reach their potential. So, I invited Michael on the podcast to provide some insight on how we can become more coach-like. Michael shares a lot of great insight in this podcast. If you like the podcast, I highly encourage you to read his book The Coaching Habit and apply the questions and steps he outlines. Sam shares what it's like to be a man in today's culture in context with his faith, redefines what it really means to be an Alpha male, and shares the importance of raising boys to become strong young men. Your Parenting Mojo - Respectful, research-based parenting ideas to help kids thrive
I've heard from listeners that what they call "The Dark Horse Episode," the interview with Dr. Todd Rose, that this is one of their favorite conversations on the podcast, and for this reason I'm doing something I've never done before: reissuing that episode. Dr. Rose and I discussed ways to personalize children's learning to help them truly discover and live their full potential - both academically and personally (and even getting rid of that distinction entirely...). Check out what listeners who subsequently joined the Your Child's Learning Mojo membership said in our private community before the membership had even officially started: (https://yourparentingmojo.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/23.png) The Your Child's Learning Mojo membership is now open once again to new members, and Megan, Heidi, and Denise are already inside (with me!) waiting to welcome you. Click here to learn more about the membership - we can't wait to meet you! (https://www.yourparentingmojo.com/learningmojo) [accordion] [accordion-item title="Click here to read the full transcript"] Jen 00:00 We've got to both commit on the one hand to a more greater focus on individuality, and to commit to something more personal, but at the same time, hold open this idea of diversity and inclusion, and a recognition that some groups of people have been profoundly poorly treated by the system we have and commit to starting our work and our innovation in those corners and working your way in rather than inside out. Jen 00:27 Hi, I'm Jen, and I host the Your Parenting Mojo Podcast. We all want our children to lead fulfilling lives. But it can be so hard to keep up with the latest scientific research on child development and figure out whether and how to incorporate it into our own approach to parenting. Here at Your Parenting Mojo, I do the work for you by critically examining strategies and tools related to parenting and child development that are grounded in scientific research and principles of respectful parenting. Hello, and welcome to the Your Parenting Measure Podcast. I'm actually doing something I've never done before with today's show that I see other podcasters doing all the time. And that's to rerelease a previously released episode. It seems like there are some times when an episode that you've already released just speaks so clearly to an issue of the moment, and I really feel like that's the case here. So, today's episode came to us via a bit of a different route than they often do. A friend of mine actually heard our guests Dr. Todd Rose on the Art of Manliness Podcast and said hey, you might want to listen to this because it sounds a lot like what you're trying to do with the way your daughter Carys learns, and I listened to the episode and then I did something that I'd also never done before. Actually, the message that I heard from Dr. Rose in that podcast made him feel like such a kindred spirit in terms of how we think about learning and work that I reached out to him and asked him to talk with us before I'd even read his book. And rather than go over that ground that's already been covered elsewhere, I'd really encourage you to go to this episode's page at yourparentingmojo.com/toddrose to find a link to that episode on the Art of Manliness because there's so much there to help adults discover and follow their passions if you're feeling unfulfilled in the work that you do. And if you might need some help charging a different course. So today we're going to look at the outcomes for what Dr. Rose calls dark...

Podcasters have a great variety of software to record podcasts and interviews remotely. The options we have available are probably the best that podcasters have ever seen and experienced. This is day 30 of my 31 Day Podcast Challenge. I have put together a list of possible options that usually offer free initial trial periods, or free versions, and premium offerings as well. Circle270Media Podcast Consultants has not tested all of the alternatives below. We see posts and comments in online communities that are good and critical with each of these. Though, still be aware, that using these tools aren't necessarily going to give you high quality audio. You may still have to do some post-production sound quality editing. These are still better options than the usual go-to web conferencing tools, like Zoom, for podcasting purposes. Be sure you ask around and test for yourself. Most of them have demo videos to watch. With each having their own specific uniqueness, kick the tires to see which recording platform will work best for your podcast. https://squadcast.fm/ (SquadCast) – SquadCast allows podcasters to schedule the interview. You can record everyone's audio in separate .WAV files without drift. https://clearcast.io/ (Clearcast) - ClearCast.io was founded out of a frustration that Art of Manliness Podcast host Brett McKay had with his remote interviews via Skype. Oftentimes, he'd experience lag, static, or cut off audio from his guest's end of the conversation. Chrome and Firefox browsers only at this time. https://riverside.fm/ (Riverside.fm) - Record your podcast's audio AND video locally. Separate audio and video tracks for each guest. Livestream it to YouTube/Facebook/Twitter. Let your listeners call in via video. https://zencastr.com/ (Zencastr) – Zencastr works in your browser. All you have to do is send a link to your guests and hit record. Their audio will be recorded on their end before it gets compressed and garbled. It is then automatically streamed to your Dropbox account. https://cleanfeed.net/ (Cleanfeed.net) – Cleanfeed is an online service that uses the Opus audio codec and the Chrome browser to allow for ISDN quality with one or multiple co-hosts and interviews. Cleanfeed can record your sessions and deliver two separate tracks on a single .WAV file. https://www.bswusa.com/Podcasting-Rode-Rodecaster-Pro-P14002.aspx (RODEcaster Pro) – The RODEcaster Pro is worth the investment if you have the option. It makes it very easy to integrate remote interviews of all kinds (like Zencastr). Mobile devices can easily be connected via TRRS cable or Bluetooth, allowing calls to be either recorded and stored for later use or streamed on-the-fly during a podcast. It automatically provides a mix-minus too. https://tryca.st/ (Tryca.st) – Cast manages a live call between you and your guests, allows you to chat with your guests, mute yourself, and make private notes that only you can see. In the background, Cast streams a high-fidelity audio recording for each participant to the cloud, where they store it for mixing in the Cast Editor or for download on your Account page. https://streamyard.com/ (StreamYard) – StreamYard is a live streaming studio in your browser. It allows you to interview guests, share your screen, and much more. You have the option to stream directly to your social media channels. https://www.uberconference.com/ (UberConference) – Podcasters can record an interview call one of two ways: through the web or over the phone. Keep in mind that UberConference only records your conference audio – not your screen share. https://www.ringr.com/ (RINGR) – Ringr lets you invite a guest (or multiple guests) to a call. Invited users can join the call on their desktop or by downloading a mobile app. When you schedule a call, you and your guests will both get a calendar invite. As soon as they connect to the call, you can start talking to each

This week Gary Mansfield speaks Nick Hogben aka The Loveless Artist (@loveless_artist) Nick has been creating art under the name Loveless Artist for around 3 years. Having battled with his mental health nearly all his life and using art as a release, his practice is now one that is intertwined and reactive to the moment. His linear, monochrome figures seem to battle for dominance on the canvas, sometimes red, sometimes black, sometimes a combination of both. This allows us, the viewer, to witness his inner conflicts, which appear to have no winner… Yet. Nick also hosts and produces the hugely popular Mouth of Manliness Podcast, where he discusses the mental health journey of himself and each invited guest (@mouthofmanliness) For full line up of confirmed artists go to https://www. ministryofarts.org Email: info@ministryofarts.org Social Media: @ministryofartsorg

A few months ago I didn't know that storytelling competitions were a thing. Then I heard Matthew Dicks on a podcast and he shared what makes for good storytelling. I thought it was interesting but it wasn't until he told a short 5-minute story that I was convinced of his mastery of the craft and I wanted to learn more. I found out Matthew Dicks was not only a champion storyteller but also a classroom teacher and that he had a podcast with his wife Elysha where they listened to stories told from the stage and critiqued them; sharing what made them such powerful stories and what they could have done to improve the story. I initially was drawn to the storytelling podcast because I thought I could get tips on how to tell better stories in social contexts but I walked away wondering how I could implement this into my classroom. In today's episode, Matthew and I explore the following: what are a couple things you can do to make your storytelling better than 90% of the stories most people tell what storytelling looks like in Matthew's 5th grade classroom (both when he's telling stories and when he has his students telling stories) we listen to a novice storyteller (myself) tell a story to my class of a time I felt I really had no idea what I was doing but I didn't want anyone to know and I get Matthew's feedback on it. we listen to experienced storyteller/teacher Jennifer Bonaldo tell a story to a group of freshmen of a time she tried a little too hard to be with the 'in-crowd' and get Matthew's feedback. Matthew provides resources and insights for teachers wanting to implement more storytelling in their classrooms. What did you do as a child you wish you could do today? There are a number of things that we believe we can only do when we are kids. Go outside today and recreate some memories. Make a list of things that you loved doing or have always had a dream to do and go make them happen.Enjoy your life. Stop stressing the little things and enjoy every part of life. Get outside with your kids and act like a kid. It will make you feel younger. When we are children we are able to dream, but as we get older we are told to stop dreaming because it may be out of reach. Instead of listening to society, do what you want to do. Packs and Peaks 4: Rucking Get lost in the endurance sport of Rucking by explaining how it works, what gear you need, and where you can go to get lost racing it. What the heck is Rucking? Rucking is simple. To Ruck, all you need to do is put a little weight on your back and go for walk. That is rucking. I know. Too simple, right? Well, don’t overthink it. Rucking is something very special when it comes to endurance sports. My first experience with rucking was very personal. The group I rucked with were all veterans from every branch of the US Military. As a US Navy Vet myself, this was a familiar group of guys and gals. The goal was simple: ruck for 4-miles around town. Only before we started, we stretched out together, said a quick prayer, and then someone hoisted up an American Flag on a pole. As a group, we started rucking -- almost in a formation -- with the Stars and Stripes leading the way. It was very emotional -- especially as a Vet that has been out of the military for a while. It was a chance to associate with other Vets with similar backgrounds for a few moments. Rucking is more than just walking with weight on your back. Rucking is a community that just so happens to have a good endurance activity connected to it. If you’re looking for a community that will accept you -- veteran or not -- so long as you wear some weight on your back -- then rucking is for you. And that is the endurance sport of Rucking. Time to go find some friends and do some hard things when them! Veteran Crisis Line If you are a Veteran in emotional crisis or know of a Veteran in emotional crisis, you or their loved ones can call the free and confidential Veterans Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to connect with a caring, qualified VA responder who can deal with any immediate crisis. We welcome to the mic for lucky episode 10, Curt Cabot. I have known Curt since our days at VCU in the Theater Department. Life happened and the wonders of Facebook brought us back together. We now share similar hairstyles, okay my male pattern baldness is well advanced, so much so I shave my head, but Curt keeps pressing on. Curt is a former student of mine and let me tell you how proud of him I am. We met in Intro to Drama and Scene shop at VCU. He attended the now infamous come as your favorite Porn Star party which served as the Freshmen mixer for the Theater Dept. Curt began his exploration in art at the ripe old age of 6 singing and acting in musicals and Broadway type shows. Some painting occurred later for him, but his experience with art and creation goes back a long time. He experienced Bob Ross in high school but didn't pursue it. He played numerous instruments in band from 10 to 21 years old rounding out his artistic education. We give a shout out to Merchants of Dirt Podcast Kyle Bondo who got me started back into podcasting. So its Kyle's fault folks for all of this. We then discuss fine Scotch, specifically Oban 18 Year old Scotch. We discuss Scotch Vs Whiskey, specifically how Jameson makes us both want to beat up the Pope. We decide that drinking is an art form unto itself. Dedication to art is similar to dedication to your job in the military, if you seriously approach either it will take you places where you never knew you could go. Due to his military job he was able to parlay his acting experience for television as a liaison for shows. He has worked for NCIS and no Abby doesn't work at the real NCIS in Quantico but here is a picture to drool over. Okay listen to the show now. Abby approved. Curt worked with Gibbs and Ziva as well on many shoots. Tim discusses his Oh my Gawd story of meeting Charlton Heston in Mombasa Kenya for the 132548th time. Curt listens politely and tells his better oh my gawd story. He met the actors from the Boondock Saints and did some workouts with them and he also met Toby Keith and played a rousing game of beer pong due to insomnia. Obviously Tim joined the wrong branch. Curt now applies the lessons learned in his artistic life by looking for art in his travels and looking for something that he has never seen or experienced. This gives him more inspiration to go further and create better works. Curt volunteers for Habitat for humanity and from his shop class in theater has really helped him in his carpentry skills and he is able to give to his community. Future projects he is contemplating is directing a show. The Satanic 7 questions pay attention to question number 1 is of special note where we discuss minimalism and using your monthly discharge as your paint. Curt got 6.75 out of 7 correct. He got our first quarter point for mentioning the Village. shout outs to Art of Manliness Podcast and Order of Man podcasts.
