Is Ignoring Social Issues in Your Marketing, Sales, & Communication the Best Course of Action? Think Again! How do you navigate social media responsibly during racial conflicts, politics, social issues, hot topics as a business, leader, marketer, creator, social media or community manager? Many feel that what happens in the world doesn't impact their content calendar, marketing campaign, sales outreach, message tone, or method of distribution whatsoever in regards to their audience. That is completely wrong and furthest from the truth. From George Floyd (2020) to Sonya Massey (presently navigating) to the presidential election (again) to massive layoffs to oppressed people impacted in numerous places around the world and beyond as the list goes on and on…Just staying in your bubble because maybe you don't identify, relate, acknowledge, believe, or whatever the case may be and not adjusting or acknowledging anything in any way may seem like the best course of action. But is it?The people who buy from you, work for you, watch, read, or listen to your content, attend your events, invest in you, advocate for you, and give you attention may all be impacted by such things that may not necessarily relate directly to you on an individual level, company level, and so forth. We have to acknowledge that reality. And depending on things, make adjustments accordingly. Yesterday, the doomsday clock was set at 90 seconds to midnight, the closest since its inception. We all have our own internal doomsday clock, too, depending on our political views. It's really a magical thing how liberal conservationist environmental types have gone from fighting the power, resisting big corporations, protesting against chemicals and genetic engineering, and demanding we stop tampering with the earth, to supporting the power and big corporations, protesting in favor of chemicals and genetic engineering, and demanding we rip CO2, Nitrogen, etc., from the climate and soil, i.e., dismantle nature to ‘save the planet'. Meanwhile, scientists are learning new things about water that require textbooks to be rewritten - if we don't even have all the answers to basic elements how can we think we know better than the body, nature, planet, etc.? As for the mainstream climate narrative: The UN took question from world leaders about the 1.5 degree Celsius limit, which was advocated for not by scientists but activists, and said it “require rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society.” A recent Time article suggests the same that we need “sustained shock” to cause damages and “tangible costs to people and property” in order to create a permanent resetting of society.FREE ARCHIVE & RSS: https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-secret-teachingsTwitter: https://twitter.com/TST___RadioWEBSITE, BOOKS, RESUBSCRIBE YEARLY: http://thesecretteachings.infoPaypal: rdgable@yahoo.comCashApp: $rdgableBuy Me a Coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tstradioSUBSCRIBE TO NETWORK: http://aftermath.mediaEMAIL: rdgable@yahoo.com / TSTRadio@protonmail.com

Disruptors for GOOD is presented by: One Tree PlantedPlant a Tree with One Tree Planted - Learn More---> Check out the Causeartist Partners here.---> Subscribe to the Causeartist Newsletter here.In episode 179 of the Disruptors for GOOD podcast, I speak with Kieran White, Co-Founder & CEO at Return, on incentivizing social climate action using on-chain environmental assets.Return is a climate technology startup that offers verified and incentivized social climate action to individuals, corporations, and communities. It uses blockchain technology to create a protocol that directs funding towards present or future climate projects using on-chain environmental assets, which help fight climate change. Why does Return exist?Despite the estimated 30-fold growth of the Voluntary Carbon Market by 2030, this will only satisfy 2% of the overall demand required to combat the climate crisis, according to scientific estimations. Voluntary carbon offsetting, both for individuals and corporations, has not achieved the level of adoption required. Although recent developments, such as corporate Net-Zero commitments, have aided in this area, there is still much ground to cover. After conducting extensive research, Return discovered that the reason for this lack of adoption was the absence of incentive alignment among the three key stakeholders: consumers, businesses, and climate projects themselves. By leveraging some of the innovative tools provided by blockchain, we can finally achieve this necessary incentive alignment. How it works:Select a climate track that suits you best, either through an upfront payment or a deposit that generates continuous contributions. Establish your impact identity by personalizing and displaying all your actions, which will reflect your values. Increase your community by inviting friends to join your climate guild and connecting with like-minded individuals who share a similar digital identity. Enjoy exclusive rewards through Return's ecosystem partners that will help boost your impact identity.Your Impact IdentityAn impact identity is a unique digital NFT that is not tradeable and serves to showcase your dedication to the environment following your actions on the Return platform. At Return, we believe that everyone should receive recognition for contributing to the planet, and this is one of the ways we provide that acknowledgement through social proof. By displaying your impact identity to friends and striving to attain different levels of impact, you can visually transform it over time as you compete with others in the community to be the first to reach the top tier! What can you support? Verified Climate ProjectsRimba Raya Biodiversity Project - Preserving the forests of Indonesia in the Tanjung Puting National ParkCordillera Azul National Park REDD Project - Avoiding deforestation in the lowlands and montane forests of PeruJiangxi Province Le'an County Forest Farm Carbon Sink Project - Improving the management of protected forestry in ChinaHow is individual carbon footprint calculated?Their internally-developed emissions calculation methodology allows Return to determine your blockchain-linked carbon footprint. To assess your overall carbon footprint, they utilize averages determined by the Nature Conservancy, which approximate the average American individual's carbon footprint to be around 16 tonnes. ---> Check out the Partners here.---> Subscribe to the Causeartist Newsletter here.Listen to more Causeartist podcast shows hereFollow Grant on Twitter and LinkedInFollow Causeartist on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
No matter what you're views or understanding are on the issues surrounding climate change, everyone who's just lived through the last 3 years will start to notice some similar and unnerving trends that the powers-that-be are using in regards to it. The abuse of power we've all experienced (and continue to in many ways) may have just been a precursor to the degree to which future abuses will be meaded out upon us through climate change policies. Keep your eyes on the key players on this topic... this could be the next battle whether we like it or not. ----- Go check out (and please share around) the complete VIDEO of the recent Dr. Peter McCullough podcast that is now live at the Social Disorder Substack: https://thesocialdisorder.substack.com/publish/post/71196762
In this episode, Porter speaks with Dr. Paula A. Johnson, the 14th President of Wellesley College. As a physician-scientist, Paula made a significant impact through her clinical and research work. Before joining Wellesley in 2016, she was a professor of medicine and epidemiology at Harvard.

The fit for 55 package is part of the Commission's European Green Deal, which aims to set the EU firmly on the path towards net zero GHG emissions (climate neutrality) by 2050. The fit for 55 package includes a regulation establishing a new social climate fund (SCF). The aim of the SCF is to help vulnerable households, micro-businesses and transport users meet the costs of the green energy transition in the buildings and road transport sector. The SCF is designed to counter the additional costs that vulnerable consumers may face when the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) Directive is revised to cover these two sectors, as proposed in the fit for 55 package. The SCF aims to provide over €72 billion in EU funding over the 2025-2032 period.- Original publication on the EP Think Tank website- Subscription to our RSS feed in case your have your own RSS reader- Podcast available on Deezer, iTunes, TuneIn, Stitcher, YouTubeSource: © European Union - EP
