Today, Michael opens up about if he knew he would be returning back to the MCU when he signed on to play Scorpion almost 10 years ago, that scene of his cut from Spiderman: Homecoming, the moment that Scorpion made him feel petrified, what playing a villain in the MCU means to him, why he loved working with Tom Holland, what it was like watching him transform into Spiderman up close, the training involved in playing Scorpion, why community is so important when filming a movie like this, if he’s heard anything about Scorpion eventually turning into Venom, his personal connection to Venom as both a kid and adult, voicing Bane in Batman: Knightfall - Part 1, how he helped shape the actual animation of this character, joining Kevin Hart in 72 Hours on Netflix, his unconventional journey towards becoming an actor, if he would reprise his role in a Better Call Saul reboot, why rejection has fueled him even harder over the years, what he will never say to you and so much more. Noah Smith is a multidisciplinary visual storyteller specializing in UX design. With a background in film, Noah's also a big, big fan of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, the 1986 comedy that's also full of action, drama, and sprawling musical numbers. Ferris, an extremely popular teenager, skips school and with his best friend Cameron and his girlfriend Sloane, they embark on a series of adventures. What about the possibility of Ferris being a figment of Cameron's imagination, the so-called Fight Club theory? And how does Ferris connect to Spider-Man? Plus, the movie's small but memorable baseball moments make it perfect for the month of March and Major League Baseball's season openers.-Noah Smith's true love for all things 80s includes some pretty rad engagement photos that made their way into People and Huffpost. An accomplished woodworker, he's designed tables, bowls, cutting boards, spoons, and everything in-between, a hobby he began in 2020. The countdown reaches Spider-Man's MCU debut and the first film of the Sony-Marvel deal. Adam digs into why Michael Keaton's Vulture is one of Marvel's best and most sympathetic villains, why that homecoming car ride is one of the great scenes in the Infinity Saga, and the problem underneath it all: Peter Parker never gets to be the hero of his own movie because Tony Stark's shadow swallows the whole franchise. Plus the argument the MCU keeps refusing to make about Stark's legacy, from the Vulture to Mysterio to Damage Control.

NOW LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!After The Amazing Spider-Man 2 failed to justify Sony going it alone, a deal with Marvel to share a new take on the character for the MCU was soon inked. This eventually led to the web-head's appearance in Civil War, but more importantly, his own movie -- one that promised to be more fun, low-scale, and fully integrated into the house that Feige built. Though it succeeded critically and commercially upon release, many have questioned its integrity as a Peter Parker story in how it tones down the drama, involves characters like Iron Man, and so on. So, after nine years, what do we think? Come join Brian, Alec, Darby, and Trey to find out as they continue the Spider-Marathon and return to the MCU with Tom's first solo movie -- SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING!

Wonder Man is the newest Marvel Studios television series on Disney Plus. In this episode, I chat with Brian Gay, Co-Executive Producer of this series, about Wonder Man and about Brian's career. Brian worked alongside Kevin Feige and Marvel executives to develop Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Captain Marvel, Loki, Hawkeye, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Werewolf by Night. As Wonder Man is described on Disney Plus, "Aspiring Hollywood actor Simon Williams is struggling to get his career off the ground. During a chance meeting with Trevor Slattery, an actor whose biggest roles may be well behind him, Simon learns legendary director Von Kovak is remaking the superhero film "Wonder Man." These two actors at opposite ends of their careers doggedly pursue life-changing roles in this film as audiences get a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry.” To plan a trip, be sure to work with KMV Travel.   Get bonus content, ad-free episodes, and more at patreon.com/imaginationskyway.   Tag me and join the conversation below.
