Why does video content work better than the other platforms? How does video establish your authority and the credibility of your business? How can we produce content that effectively reaches and satisfies our target audience?Today, we discuss How to Write the Best Script for Videos.Watch it on YouTube: https://youtu.be/LOMs339PL8gNothing delivers the authority of a speaker like speaking to somebody face to face than a video since it allows us to do that on every social media platform nowadays. However, presenting our brand online can be much more difficult now than it was when social media platforms were first starting to emerge. People can quickly scroll down and ignore our content once they see its incapability to satisfy their needs. Hence, as businesspersons, we must recognize the power of the title and first sentence we present to the world that establishes a hook between what we offer and the needs of our audience. Moreover, it is crucial to have a thorough understanding of the audience that you seek to connect with, from the names they express down to the terminologies within their core understanding. Thus, to succeed in your brand marketing, you must attend this primary stage. And we must also practice being more inclusive with our content rather than exclusive, such as using jargon. Hence, we should consult people with varied backgrounds or areas of competence with the proper approach to reach more individuals. They will likely respond positively and engage with your business offer and services.Show highlights:Maslow's Hierarchy of NeedsWho is your audience?Make a promiseTell them! It's always a treat when playwrights can record in house. This week local playwright Dagney Kerr stopped by to discuss her playwriting journey from college to relocating to Los Angeles as well as her process from workshops to worldwide productions. We also discuss letting go of your work and standing your ground. In addition, we tackle working with bad directors, adjusting your work, writing rhythmically and tactically, perfecting pieces before submitting them, self-representation and unauthorized productions, support and accountability in a writers group, finding one's voice and style as well as relatability in success. It's certainly a well rounded discussion that encompasses a wide range of topics I think all writers will benefit from. Enjoy!Dagney Kerr is a Los Angeles-based writer and actor. Her play, Stay, won Best Play and the Sherman C Ward Jr. Award for Excellence in Playwriting at the Eastern States One Act Play Festival; Outstanding Play, Maryland One-Act Festival; Pick of the Vine, The Little Fish Theater in San Pedro; and Best Script, Best Play, and Audience Favorite awards in several other festivals around the country. Hey friends! As many of you know, I started my business door knocking and doing open houses. At first, I had no idea how to get the information of the people I was talking to. It always felt so awkward to ask! I finally created an authentic script to connect with my database where they are excited to give me their information because of all the value that I will provide to them! Not only do they give me their email and phone number, they actually WANT to hear from me! Enjoy! Rachel

Let's talk about writing scripts. You need to have a feel for your clients before you call. If you're going to continue working you need to talk to your clients. During this time more communication is always better than less. You need to call your clients and see how they're doing. You don't need to sell anything, just listen. If you do have to ask them anything, it's important to make them comfortable before you take the conversation any further. Rich covers this topic and more on this week's podcast. Thanks for listening and you can learn more at www.regradschool.com

Today you’ll get the perfect script for transitioning from your pitch into your closing sequence. But before I give you the script, I’m going to tell you what “NOT” to say. I hear business owners (and their teams) across the country using this strategy and it’s not only killing their conversion ratio … it’s killing their profits too. The biggest mistake you can make when you’re transitioning into your closing sequence is to ask your lead “So what did you think?” (OR) “How does that sound?”
