Ben Patrick is the founder of the “Athletic Truth Group” a gym and online training service based out of Clearwater Beach Florida.  Ben overcame debilitating knee and shin pain, as well as subsequent surgeries through a personal journey taking knee and foot strength training to their fullest potential.  Ben transformed his basketball career, going from being continually injured, unrecruited and under-achieving to having a successful junior college stint through improving his own health and performance. Ben's sports performance training career started after this, where he now trains athletes of all levels at Athletic Truth Group gym and through his online training services.  Ben's system has brought a great many athletes out of pain, and is getting notoriety from many world-class trainers and athletes.   Time Stamps: 0:08:35 Podcast begins 0:09:15 What does Ben look for in athletes? 0:16:50 What Google says is realty.. but that doesn't mean it is true 0:19:00 We can all have world-class athletics 0:27:15 The nordic curl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NCN6kOagfY 0:37:05 The first thing Ben would recommend people starting with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNS_QjGAs_k 0:39:20 Working from the ground up for knee pain 0:44:05 How does Ben train the big toe? 0:45:18 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8blFT4db-KA 0:46:25 The split squat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0FwSWd2_IY 0:50:35 It's more natural to walk or sprint 0:56:35 The heal-striking motor pattern for running 1:04:15 The epidemic of autoimmune conditions 1:05:50 Humans can probably regrow cartilage  1:12:35 Does Ben get a lot of pushback? 1:15:35 Food beliefs have become identity for many people 1:20:40 Ben's experience eating animal-based for the past month 1:30:55 Does Ben consume organs? 1:35:35 When you focus on food quality over quantity, you can eat much more 1:45:15 Closing thoughts with Ben   Sponsors: Heart & Soil: www.heartandsoil.co  - Her Package is available now! We hear Ben Fred's take on why, how and when the city could see the suit reach an end. Whether settling or seeing it through to court, what does Ben see happening? We get details on what Kevin Demoff might have come out in the news about the relocation. If we don't see college football this fall, what does Ben Fred think happens to the sport in general? Will NCAA see a significant dent; enough to make changes? Some tough conversations about financial decisions may be looming. Unnecessary facility upgrades, coaches salaries and irresponsible spending could be under the microscope soon. What about having sports in college without fans? Does Ben think it's possible? Again, the TV contracts come into play. The NHL is taking a look into having neutral locations to return to play. Hockey's plan could have a higher chance of player approval though because there are such few games left. Free agents and those looking for new contracts likely want these games more than others so the salary cap gets some kind of increase. Ben says it's ok to talk and plan but the same issues apply... what happens if someone contracts the virus? We revisit Alex Pietrangelo's potential contract too. Listen here:

And Cavallari chats with Zack Vestal from Niner Bikes to get deeper into the design considerations behind the MCR (Magic Carpet Ride), the first full-suspension gravel bike to hit the market.

This is the unique story and music of the original Special Air Service (SAS) rock band, ‘The Externals'.   MUSIC REVIEW “Do not ever, ever, ever go see this band unless your IQ is lower than the entrance price'-  David Coggin's music review on The Externals    DISCLAIMER We recommend disengagement of brain prior to listening. Just sit back and enjoy the ripping yarn and great music of The Externals.    CAUTION Numerous references to beer and rock and roll.   WARNING May insult those who like to wear cardigans and/ or listen to pop music.     The Story (So Far)……..  Formed in 1991, The Externals were full time SAS soldiers who used the band as an outlet from their high pressure work in the SAS. The idea for the band was born during a SAS interrogation course and the band grew to playing most major Australian festivals, opening to iconic Australian bands and also being profiled on Triple J Unearthed. Over time they realised, that The Externals were more than that- they became part of the rich tapestry of the SAS. Assisting during times of tragedy, including the mass fatality event of the Blackhawk disaster in 1996. They have inspired SAS operators preparing for dangerous tasks and missions.  The band played regularly at the Hotel with many sold out performances to manic crowds of beer and sweat drenched surfers and soldiers in search of the 'four on the floor' style guitar charged rock music the band passionately played. The Externals still hold the record attendance numbers for a local Perth Band's record release to this date.    Show Notes -1:20 : Inspired by their SAS interrogation course – How to start a rock band! - 06:00: Shaky starts -  07:40 : Ben's story about ‘I Don't Believe It'…. The aftermath of Maddy's murder and the reveal of Laura's killer leads us into the realm of dramatic irony for the first time in Twin Peaks! Agent Cooper and Sheriff Truman get closer to figuring out the truth the audience already knows—that Ben Horne did not kill Laura—and Cooper gets reacquainted with his intuition, much to the Sheriff's consternation; meanwhile, Bobby dabbles in blackmail, and Norma gets a surprise visitor at the Double R. Also! Does Ben need a new lawyer? How hard is it to keep the One Armed Man from escaping? And where does one go in a town like Twin Peaks for good, quality showtunes? (Apparently, all you need is a car and a set of golf clubs...) We may as well call this The Jerry Show since so many of our clips selected for this week's episode feature his classic deadpan humour, but after the darkness of last week's episodes, we were just so glad for Jerry Horne we couldn't resist! Here's the entry on the loon The meaning of Hank's domino has never "officially" been stated as far as I can tell...but Chris Mulkey claims it was meant to be another instance of doubles (the two 3's equaling 6 total on the domino) while others claim it may be linked to the number of people he's killed. The blog Twin Peaks Explained states that the change in the numbers on his domino wasn't on purpose but was simply an error, owing to the fact that the original domino was lost during production and another was substituted. Welcome to Kid Power Radio. I’m your host Max and each week I review what’s happening on TV, at the movies, books and music I like ….You get the idea In the Nickelodeon news... Question: Who is the Painted Lady? Yes John? The Painted Lady is a worshiped god that some people on the show Avatar the Last Airbender believes in. Correct. Does anyone know who faked the Painted Lady just to save the village on the lake from The Fire Nation? Uh, Nancy...how about you? Katara, sir. Good. I have a great class!!! After the village finds out it’s been Katara what do they do? Gregory? They start to get mad at her then Saka convinces the people not to be mad at her. Great job. Uh-oh. We’re late for recess. I shouldn’t have played races. I have this big cramp. John will you teach while I go to Nurse Maria. Sure. Okay everybody I saw a new Ben 10 as Mr. RadioStarMax told us to for our homework so I guess I’ll ask questions about it. Okay so Ben is playing on Gwen’s what when he breaks it? George? Gwen’s computer Mr. John. Correct. When he does break it what room of the van does Ben go in? Benjamin? The closet? Nope. How about Mario? The bathroom. Good. When Ben goes to the wrestling arena what alien does he use to win? Henry? Four-Arms, Mr. John. Correct. Does Ben win the $10,000 to fix Qwen’s computer? Jack? Yes. Good. This is the last question. What is the surprise ending? Marie? Qwen really has something on her computer so that only she can go on. Good. Oh...look here’s Mr. RadioStarMax. Hey guys so what did you learn? We learned... Take your seats guys and girls. Okay we’ve been reading a book called "Toad Rage." Can anyone give a summary of Toad Rage? No one? Oh there’s a hand in the back. Lee can you tell us a summary of Toad Rage? Limpy is a toad and he wonders why humans hate toads. No one in his smamp knows so Limpy heads to this place humans go called a "gas station."  At the gas station people are being nice to animals but when they see Limpy they scream and try to hit him with something. That’s where we stopped for now. Wow! That was a really good summary. My class is really good aren’t they?  In the birthday news... As you all know it was my birthday. I had my birthday party at Mountasia. Has anyone been there? One, five, twelve hands! WOW! Anyone I did go-karts, bumper boats, and video games. Anyway a kid in my class named Jordie made this giant poster that said Happy Birthday Max and he got everyone to sign it.  In the restaurant news... Also for my birthday I went to Kobe Steak House with my friend Brendan and it was good. They too our picture and put it on a piece if cake!! It was so cool! They also made a bunny face out of cinnamon for us!! It was cool!! I loved it! Funny Wacky Packy of the week... And the winner is... can you you guess it? No one? That’s disappointing!
