Anjan suffered from eye strain and disrupted sleep cycles, as well as worsening of ADHD symptoms from using modern computers. Resolving to do something about this, Anjan committed to reading only from paper which meant he had to print everything he wanted to read from a computer screen. He soon missed the convenience of computers. He became more enthralled with e-ink, buying and testing every e-ink device on the market. Finding these products were too slow to function as helpful, productive tools, Anjan hacked e-ink devices. Yet, they were too slow and ineffective to serve more practical computing needs. This journey led to Anjan innovating screen technology specifically suited for eye health and circadian rhythm preservation. Additionally, Anjan developed a vision for an entire operating system that prioritizes holistic health. After developing his first prototype, Anjan navigated the challenges of bringing the device to production. Question: How do obstetricians do in 10 minutes what midwives do in an hour? Answer: They don't! Blyss and Dr. Stu discuss the differences in models and share what a midwife prenatal visit looks like. We unpack the intricate layers of birthing options, from the empowering choice of vaginal breech delivery to the complex dance between a midwife's guidance and the birthing individual's instinct. Together, we navigate the challenging terrain of advocating for personal birth plans amidst the machinery of hospital protocols, and celebrate the strength of those who pursue supportive birthing environments with midwives. ACOG is at it again and some doctors and moms are going rogue. The courage to question the status quo in medicine leads us to fresh perspectives on patient care, education, and the pursuit of alternatives that may redefine the future of reproductive health. Dr. Stu is on the road again teaching breech and twin skills while Blyss is home waiting on babies.Key highlights:HPV Vaccination Controversy and Alternative ApproachesPregnancy Symptoms, Supplements, Postpartum PlanPrenatal Visits and Midwifery PracticesManaging a Transverse Lie in LaborArm Presentation and Cesarean Section RiskEpisode resources:Join our Patreon! patreon.com/birthinginstinctspodcast. Ever heard of REHIT fitness?   In this episode of the Biohacking Superhuman Performance podcast, our guest Ulrich Dempfle shares his quest to replicate this high-intensity, short-duration workout technique that requires a mere 24 minutes of your week. Ulrich shares about the nuanced science behind REHIT and the challenges he faced in finding the right equipment.   As we navigate the world of REHIT, Ulrich reveals the surprising benefits of this workout routine. From increasing your VO2 max by 12% - which is comparable to a two-year boost in healthy life expectancy - to a whopping 62% reduction in your METZ score, a risk factor for metabolic diseases like type 2 diabetes. We get into the nuts and bolts of REHIT, discussing how it's less mentally draining than traditional workouts, accommodates your current fitness level, and is ideal for those dealing with cortisol and adrenal fatigue.   Ulrich Dempfle is the CEO and co-founder of the Carol Bike, a game-changing exercise equipment that offers efficient workouts in just a few minutes. In this episode, we discuss the psychological resistance to shorter workouts and how the Carol Bike overcomes this by delivering effective results in a short time.   Thank you to our sponsors for making this episode possible: Healthgevity: Go to healthgev.com and use code LONGEVITY to save. It's scientifically proven to deliver superior health and fitness benefits compared to normal exercise—in 90% less time. Maximal oxygen consumption (VO2 Max) is a measure of the maximum amount of oxygen that an individual can utilize during intense physical activity. It is often used as an indicator of a person's cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance. Studies demonstrate that only a 12% improvement in VO2 Max is equivalent to a 2 year increase in life expectancy. Given that we lose about 10% of VO2 Max per decade as we age, this is an immense improvement. Sprints are more beneficial than traditional workouts. When you push your limits during sprints, your muscles are forced to mobilize about 25-30% of muscular glycogen—your emergency energy reserve—releasing key signalling molecules (AMPK and PGC-1a), telling your body it must get fitter and stronger. As a result, you develop more mitochondria, your blood plasma volume increases, and your heart gets stronger. The end result is an increased aerobic and anaerobic capacity.

Once again, the math and ethics do not line up for them.We question ACOG's support for this barely tested vaccine and the potential risk it poses. The hypocrisy of medical professionals blaming midwives for problems caused by their own practices also comes under scrutiny. Plus, we also shed light on the dangers of due dates inaccurately assigned to pregnant women, especially for those with diabetes. Finally, we challenge the medical model of due dates, discussing the history of the calculation and the accuracy of ultrasound in determining gestational age.
