Join Sandra for a breathtaking conversation with Heather Vandermeyden, a woman who didn't just have one Near-Death Experience—she had a series of them. At just twenty years old, Heather faced a catastrophic medical crisis (ulcerative colitis, sepsis, and organ failure) that kept her in the ICU for three months. While her body withered away to 79 pounds and endured thirteen emergency surgeries, her spirit was busy traveling beyond the veil. In this episode, Heather details the more than twenty times she popped out of her body to escape the pain. She shares vivid descriptions of the "Ancient Healing Waters" that saved her liver, a visit to a Hall of Records (the Library), and a heartwarming reunion with her deceased grandmother and great-grandfather. She also describes seeing God stand in the doorway of the hospital room—a being of pure, non-judgmental love with vibrant blue eyes. Perhaps most miraculously, Heather describes meeting two specific children on the other side. Years later, unable to carry a pregnancy due to her surgeries, she fostered and adopted two children who matched the exact description of the souls she met in Heaven. Today, Pastor Al Dagel brings part one of a three-part look at the "High-priestly prayer" of Jesus. Part two will be presented tomorrow, and part three will be shared on Sunday.
Lee Strobel is an American Christian author, apologist, speaker, and former investigative journalist who transitioned from an atheist investigative journalist into a leading Christian apologist and author, blending rigorous investigative methods with his faith journey to influence millions worldwide. Born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Strobel earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale Law School; growing up in a nominally Christian but non-practicing household, he became a committed atheist who viewed Christianity as irrational until 1979, when his wife Leslie's conversion prompted a nearly two-year personal investigation into the historical evidence for Jesus. On November 8, 1981, at age 29, Strobel became a Christian, an experience he describes as “falling in love with Jesus” while interviewing scholars and examining ancient manuscripts. A 14-year veteran of The Chicago Tribune where he served as award-winning legal editor, Strobel earned Illinois' highest honors for investigative reporting and public service journalism from United Press International before pivoting full-time to Christian apologetics. He is a New York Times bestselling author of over 40 books and curricula—including the seminal The Case for Christ (1998), which has sold over 5 million copies—with total sales exceeding 18 million copies translated into 40 languages. His “Case for…” series, along with titles like The Case for Faith, The Case for Miracles, and The Case for Heaven, applies courtroom-style evidence to core doctrines. Strobel, currently serves as Founding Director of the Lee Strobel Center for Evangelism and Applied Apologetics at Colorado Christian University. He is described by The Washington Post as “one of the evangelical community's most popular apologists,” he has received multiple Gold Medallion Awards and the 2023 Pillar Award for History from the Museum of the Bible. Married to Leslie since 1973, Strobel is father to daughter Alison (novelist and homeschooling expert) and son Kyle (professor of spiritual theology at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology), and he continues to equip believers worldwide with intellectual tools to defend and share their faith effectively. Have you ever wondered why challenges seem to show up right when you're finally stepping into your power? Or why moments of anxiety feel so intense, it's almost as if they're blocking your path? In this week's episode of HEAL with Kelly, I sit down with my longtime Kabbalah teacher and dear friend, Eitan Yardeni, to explore the deeper spiritual mechanics of life. Kabbalah is ancient wisdom that has always resonated deeply with my beliefs and faith. Eitan, a globally respected Kabbalah teacher and Madonna's longtime spiritual mentor, has over 30 years of experience and a gift for making ancient wisdom deeply practical. Together, we explore soul vs. ego, why discomfort is part of transformation, and how to trust the guidance that leads you into a bigger version of yourself. We also explore some of life's hardest questions: Why do we experience suffering? What does Kabbalah say about anxiety, miracles, and the unseen 99% of reality? How do we navigate loss, trust the bigger picture, and stay connected to our purpose when everything feels uncertain? Throughout our conversation, Eitan shares powerful insights about expanding your vessel, cultivating true fulfillment, and embracing the light that's hidden inside the very moments we tend to resist. This is one of my favorite conversations of the year, and I hope it will be as enlightening for you as it was for me! If you're craving a deeper understanding of your path, if you're navigating a challenge, or if you simply want to feel more connected to yourself and the world around you, this episode will meet you exactly where you are. It's expansive, grounding, and filled with the kind of reminders that stay with you long after the conversation ends. Key Moments You'll Love ✨: ✨ [0:00] The Month of Miracles & Sagittarius Energy

On this episode of The Karen Kenney Show, I talk about a little poem that packs a big spiritual punch, “Autobiography in Five Short Chapters” by Portia Nelson. We discuss how the poem uses a simple but powerful analogy of “a sidewalk with a hole” and how it's a brilliant mirror for our own repetitive patterns, habits, and choices that often keep us stuck.I connect this to how A Course in Miracles talks about choosing between love and fear and how we often take “detours into fear"...And why real spiritual progress isn't about never visiting fear again, but about how quickly we recognize when we've left Love and then make a conscious choice to return to it.I also reflect on why change can be so hard – we're talking those old family patterns, the subconscious payoffs, and how we normalize our suffering.

On today's Bible Answer Man broadcast (12/24/25), as we arrive at Christmas Eve, Hank concludes his special series on his acronym CHRISTMAS, detailing the final three letters of the acronym. The “M” in CHRISTMAS represents Miracles. Modernity has left many with the false impression that the virgin birth is nothing more than ancient superstition. But, in reality, miracles are not only possible, they are absolutely necessary in order to make sense of the universe in which we live. The “A” in CHRISTMAS represents Advent. The term Advent literally means “coming.” As such, Advent is a season in which the Christian church celebrates the coming in flesh of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The final letter in the CHRISTMAS acronym is “S”, which represents Salvation. On Christmas Eve, it is time to turn our hearts toward the primary reason for the Incarnation of God in Jesus Christ—namely, the salvation of sinners. The very name—Jesus—embodies salvation, as it is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua, meaning “Yahweh saves” or “Yahweh is salvation.” This Christmas season and throughout the coming year, may you be ever mindful of the reality that God has condescended to use you as the means through which the free gift of the water of life is dispensed to a parched and thirsty world.
The story of Jesus' birth is more than just an event that happened in history; the Christmas story is meant to change the world. It is good news! The message of Salvation was first laid out in the Christmas Story. Jesus, our Savior, was born for each of us. For the first time, peace and goodwill were brought to the earth.
In this conversation about Jesus's First Instructions on How to Live A Course in Miracles, Robert and Emily go back to the earliest days of the dictation of A Course in Miracles, when Jesus was first speaking to Helen Schucman and laying out—right from the start—how this Course was meant to be lived. The night before Helen heard the words, "This is a course in miracles. Please take notes," and in the weeks immediately afterward, Jesus gave direct guidance. He described what to do, how to approach this path, and how to live it—before the Course even fully took shape. In this episode you'll hear: What Jesus said to Helen and Bill in the earliest dictation How those instructions frame the entire Course Why the beginning matters for how the Course is lived today If you've ever wondered whether there's something essential in the way the Course was introduced—something that still matters for students now—this conversation is for you. ✨ Continue the Journey with Course Companions If this teaching resonated and you feel called to truly live A Course in Miracles in the new year, we invite you to join Course Companions. Course Companions is our guided membership designed to support a year of living the Course, with: • Ongoing teachings from Robert & Emily Perry • Structured spiritual practice and application • A supportive, miracle-minded community
السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ This was a challenging episode to film. Biyagi and Binta open up deeply about some of the hardest moments in their lives and how Allah brought them immediate relief through tahajjud. It's a truly emotional episode—keep the tissues close.
It's the Late Crew Christmas Episode! This time, history doesn't take the holiday off. We start in 1776, when Washington made Christmas a night for river ice, surprise attacks, and nation-bending decisions while crossing the Delaware on December 25th (06:29). Then we jump to Korea in 1950, where the SS Meredith evacuation turned into a Christmas Eve miracle, rescuing 14,000 refugees in freezing seas without a single casualty (14:18). From there, we hit 1944 for one of the strangest Christmas Eves of WWII, when a German teen named Fritz Vincken hosted a ceasefire dinner between U.S. soldiers and a Wehrmacht patrol in a snow-locked cabin on December 24th (26:17). Finally, we look to the skies for the longest-running holiday operation in military history, Operation Christmas Drop, delivering aid across the Pacific since 1952, and still flying today with C-130s, parachutes, and pure holiday goodwill (37:28). Four stories. Four Christmas Eves/Days. One episode packed with courage, miracles, odd alliances, and the true spirit of service. Grab some cocoa and strap in, this sleigh is a C-130. https://lateforchangeover.com/

LESSON 357Truth Answers Every Call We Make To God,Responding First With Miracles,And Then Returning Unto Us To Be Itself.Forgiveness, truth's reflection, tells me how to offer miracles, and thus escape the prison house in which I think I live. Your holy Son is pointed out to me, first in my brother; then in me. Your Voice instructs me patiently to hear Your Word, and give as I receive. And as I look upon Your Son today, I hear Your Voice instructing me to find the way to You, as You appointed that the way shall be:“Behold his sinlessness, and be you healed.”- Jesus Christ in ACIM

In this engaging Ask Away episode, Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe tackles listener questions on everyday halacha and deeper Jewish concepts. Key topics include:Leaving negative Google reviews: Permissible only if consistently poor (to protect others), not for one-off bad experiences, to avoid lashon hara.Converts reciting Kaddish for non-Jewish parents: Not forbidden, and may merit their souls (as Avraham elevated his father Terach), though its full effect is unclear; honoring parents remains relevant.Modern rabbinic ordination (semicha): The biblical Sanhedrin chain ended with the Second Temple, but the unbroken rabbi-to-student transmission continues today, granting authority through rigorous testing—distinct from mere professional licensing.Blessings on processed foods (juices, oat milk, Pringles, soups): When original form changes significantly, default to Shehakol; priorities and mixtures follow complex rules (e.g., separate blessings for distinct components in soup).Continuing to eat after benching: Allowed, but requires new brachot.Fluctuating faith and synagogue-hopping: Hashem cherishes every effort; simple, heartfelt prayer anywhere strengthens connection—encouragement over self-criticism.Jews as "non-fighters" yet having a strong army: Victories are supernatural miracles (stories from 1948, Six-Day War, recent conflicts), not natural might—Hashem fights our battles when we stay close to Torah. The episode overflows with inspiring stories of divine protection and encouragement to appreciate open Torah study in America amid 2,000 years of relentless persecution. Please submit your questions at askaway@torchweb.org_____________The Everyday Judaism Podcast is dedicated to learning, understanding and appreciating the greatness of Jewish heritage and the Torah through the simplified, concise study of Halacha, Jewish Law, thereby enhancing our understanding of how Hashem wants us to live our daily lives in a Jewish way._____________This Podcast Series is Generously Underwritten by Marshall & Doreen LernerDownload & Print the Everyday Judaism Halacha Notes:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RL-PideM42B_LFn6pbrk8MMU5-zqlLG5This episode (Ep. #79) of the Everyday Judaism Podcast by Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe of TORCH is dedicated to my dearest friends, Marshall & Doreen Lerner! In this thought-provoking episode, we dive deep into the narratives surrounding the Christmas story as told by Matthew. Join us as we explore the concept of image management and how it plays a role in our lives, relationships, and even our understanding of faith. Matthew's genealogy of Jesus is not just a boring list of names; it's a powerful testament to the messy, chaotic, and often scandalous history that leads to the birth of the Messiah. We discuss the significance of including figures like Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and David, highlighting their stories and the lessons they impart about grace, mercy, and belonging. This episode challenges us to reconsider our perceptions of ourselves and our pasts. If you've ever felt like you don't belong or that your history disqualifies you, this message is for you. Discover how God's grace transcends our failures and how the lineage of Jesus includes everyone, no matter their background. Tune in for a message of hope, redemption, and the reminder that you are not an accident but an integral part of a much larger story. Key Topics: --Image management in relationships and faith --The significance of Matthew's genealogy --The stories of Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and David --Understanding grace and mercy --Finding belonging and identity in Christ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We are an alternative to church as usual. Our Sunday worship service is approximately a 75-minute experience designed to introduce people to the message of Jesus and equip believers to live their lives in response to the Gospel while their kids enjoy one of our safe children's environments. Centerpoint is designed to meet you wherever you are on the journey whether you are just checking out the "church thing" or you are a committed Christ follower. Centerpoint is a casual environment that combines today's music with creative media and relevant teaching. We hope you will visit us at Centerpoint Church regardless of what your past church experience has looked like.
Life is messy, especially at Christmas. This message looks at how God doesn't avoid our problems—He works through them, turning weakness and frustration into something meaningful.
Gratitude instantly makes you a vibrational match with your divine inheritance. On today's episode we explore the greatest discovery for all of mankind: that our consciousness creates our reality and we can work our own miracles. The title of this episode is from a book by Napoleon Hill. In it he clearly describes the three mental steps, combining thanksgiving and faith, that when practiced set off a chain reaction of miracles in our lives. Steven Tom Thorpe joins us to share how he's experienced miracles of success by applying these three simple steps. Today's reading is “Anticipation”. Reading : Anticipation Anticipation energizes me and increases my joy. Looking forward to a special event is an energizing feeling. Tending to details and doing the preparation work focuses my attention on the love and care I feel for those whose company I will share. Today I will pay attention to this feeling and savor it. Rather than rushing through my preparations and wishing the event could happen sooner, I slow down and feel my excitement. I feel grateful for this energizing and enlivening process. My awareness of my joy grows as my anticipation increases. I am fully alive in each moment, focused and present. Joy is with me at every moment. I am undisturbed by disruptions in my plans, able to accommodate sudden shifts with equilibrium and calm. The joy of anticipation is my delight. You have put gladness in my heart more than when their grain and wine abound.-Psalm 4:7 Join the Prospering Patreon Community: www.Patreon.com/funniestthing
