Let's talk shop—literally. In Navigating Sexual Wellness Retail, the founder of Stimulate, Nicole Leinbach Hoffman and Cat get into the nitty-gritty of showing up on shelves (and staying there). Key takeaways: ✨Nicole is a self-described retail geek focused on sexual health and wellness. ✨Retailers often struggle with understanding the unique needs of the sexual wellness category. ✨Emerging brands should focus on smaller boutiques before approaching larger retailers. ✨Participating in trade shows like Stimulate can provide valuable networking opportunities.   About Nicole | Stimulate: Nicole Leinbach Hoffman is the Founder of STIMULATE, North America's only sexual wellness trade show and conference, as well as Retail Minded, a well-respected industry resource for merchants and vendors founded in 2007.  With a passion for both retail and sexual well-being,  Hoffman has made bold strides in supporting the growth of sexual wellness products in retail ranging – as Hoffman describes it – from “head to toe, young to mature, purpose to pleasure”. Are you ready to be truly "competition-less" and build a sustainable brand that leads to increased revenue, less burnout, and carving out your niche in the Aesthetic Industry? If this answer is YES, this episode is going to give you the keys to unlocking the secrets of scale! It's the first step in a 4-part series focused on bringing the value of the Proprietary Aesthetic Method to your practice! We've teamed up with KLC Consulting Founder & CEO, Kaeli Lindholm, to deliver her proven methodology and winning formula to you starting with this podcast! From here, Kaeli will guide you on your journey to create your brand identity and lay the foundational structure to propel long-term growth. There will be 3 stops along the way: Positioning Your Business in "The Gap", Developing Your Proprietary Method, and Incorporating PAM in Your Day-to-Day Operations. In addition to the guided series, you have access to a resource guide that lays it all out for you and provides a blueprint for getting the most out of your PAM. Kaeli's worked with hundreds of business owners just like you, and her clients have proven this resource guide is truly a multi-million dollar business asset! In this episode, we talk about the current climate in the industry- competition is fierce, the influx of patients is turbocharged, and injectors and business owners are desperately needing to add headcount or add locations to manage it all. But, it's not easy to do when you haven't formulated your brand identity, you can't market proprietary treatment methods or onboard new staff to deliver them, your processes and operational flow isn't set up to work across multiple people or locations, and training patients to be okay with seeing someone other than you is a Herculean task! Time is a finite resource, and in addition to the potential to add millions in incremental revenue, spending time creating your PAM can give you time back to live that life you are working so hard to create. It's a small investment of time and money that can have a major impact for years to come. With this collaboration, we've been given the go-ahead to launch this course for only $297. It may truly be one of the best investments you ever make. As you wrap up your PAM process, Kaeli offers the next level of growth with Confidence to Scale which is a 6 week business certification program that takes the work you've done with PAM and helps to transform your entire practice. If you haven't met Kaeli, you are in for a treat! Widely recognized as a brand revisionist, Kaeli believes achieving ‘category of one' success requires taking a differentiated approach. Her coaching and academy programs bring unique perspectives that challenge the very construct of business success. Paired with significant revenue growth, clients describe the benefit of working with Kaeli as “game-changing”, “both guide and exceptional partner”, and “provides value well beyond monetary measurement!” When you partner with Kaeli you will make an empowered transformation in your business and life. She was named a Top 10 Most Inspiring Women to Watch in 2023 by Forbes Magazine, and she's climbed the Fortune 500 ladder, built a 7-figure medspa, and helped hundreds more find true success. Annmarie has been featured in the Irish Examiner as one of 100 Women in Ireland Blazing a Trail and was also named one of Ireland's 100 Most Inspiring Women in Image magazine. Annmarie is also a Parkinson's advocate having been diagnosed with early-onset Parkinsons in 2021 when she was in her forties. Parkinsons disease is an incurable neurodegenerative condition affecting movement, coordination and speech and although it's usually a condition associated with older people, around one in twenty of those diagnosed will be under the age of fifty. Annemarie first noticed a pain in her shoulder which developed into a fine shake in her right hand and she suspected a trapped nerve but by the time she was diagnosed with Parkinsons, Annemarie was finding it challenging to write or put on mascara. As a condition more commonly associated with older men and their familiar stoop and shake, the diagnosis was a huge shock to Annmarie being a young and seemingly healthy woman but from the outset, she has had taken the attitude that while the condition is part of her life, she does not want it to dominate her life. By opening up about her condition and raising awareness, Annmarie hopes to show this is not a diagnosis anyone should feel they have to hide or experience alone and she would encourage anyone concerned about symptoms to seek medical advice because it is a lot to carry on your own and she says you will be surprised how those around you will step up and want to help. We talk about: - The stigma around Parkinson's Disease - Coping with symptoms and medication - Why it's not a condition to hide or experience alone - The mutual benefit of accepting and receiving help - The importance of perspective For Further Information: Parkinson's Association of Ireland: www.parkinsons.ie Early Onset Parkinson's Disease in Ireland: eopd.ie. The Word Café Podcast with Amax

Who is the business space for in the true sense? Traditionally thinking has come to bequeath this space to men and, somehow, denies women the opportunity to express that God-given talent and gifts in fulfilling the God-given mandate of Dominion. So often, when the subject of entrepreneurship is mentioned, what comes to our minds are men carrying out business functions. There is an exception to this thinking. In the recent past, we have seen women rising to that occasion, and they are referred to as Femaleprenuers.  Fempreneurs are women who have taken to entrepreneurship, and the needed support diligently carries out the function to their fullest potential. At the Word Café Podcast, we have noticed and celebrated such women, and one that has come to make a strong impression on us is Audrey Joe-Ezigbo.She is one of the Judges in Season 2 of #LionsDenNigeria. Katya Libin is the CEO and co-founder of HeyMama, a private online community of entrepreneurial and working moms. Building on a background in partnerships and tech, Libin conceived of HeyMama based on the need for support and community she felt in her own life as a working mother. Alongside her ever-expanding HeyMama HQ team, Libin has since grown the business to reach over 3,200 members, located in 11 cities (and counting). As a voice for the experiences, challenges, and needs of working and entrepreneurial moms, Libin has been published in TODAY.com, SheKnows, and Thrive Global, and has been featured in Woman's Day, Parents, Forbes, Inc., and more. Recently, she was named one of the Center for Women & Wealth's 20 Most Inspiring Women to Watch Out For and as a Forbes Next 1000 recipient. Her biggest role is that of mom to her daughter, in whom she tries to instill the relentless work ethic and unflappable belief that anything is possible that she got from her own parents. In this episode, Katya gets real about noticing a lack of representation for moms in business. She talks about building a community of moms, connecting virtually and in-person, and making personal connections to build a brand. Katya gives great advice on adapting social media strategies based on the times and remaining adaptable to help your business grow.
